Loving this band lately!

One of those bands I always go back to. We've talked about favourites a few times and I just posted this one yesterday because I love the piano (as well as everything else about the song).

It's really hard to beat Sleep Token in terms of song writing. Some of the best lyrics I've come across in a very long time. Combined with mind-altering musicality and mesmerising vocals, their music is haunting in the best way, and -- in my opinion -- it doesn't really get much better for that genre.

Another favourite:

If you enjoy them, you would likely also enjoy Bad Omens' The Death of Peace of Mind album, if you've not already listened to it. Take Me First, Bad Decisions, and The Death of Peace of Mind are my top three from it, but I enjoyed the whole album.

You might also try Catch Your Breath's Shame on Me album. I don't think the songs are as good lyrically, but it has a similar vibe.

I went to Castle Island South Boston, Massachusetts on Friday May 17, 2024 for the annual turnaround of the USS Constitution.The weather was very nice and there was a good turn out for the event. The ship stops at the fish pier and turns to face Fort Independence and does a 21 gun salute. Then the fort returns the 21 gun salute to the ship. There was three sailors from USS Consitution that were dressed in 1812 era uniforms on the pier. They provided info about the ship as the event got under way. The USS Constitution next turnaround will be on July 4th.

Ok. Funeral is over. I’m back home and I returned to work today. And life is just supposed to go on? While knowing he’s in the ground.

And my mom has been running in circles trying to find sitters and caretakers for my grandma since she can’t take care of herself anymore. And I can’t do a single thing to help her. I just feel so bad she’s had to do all of this shit by herself for the past ~8 weeks with all of the heartbreak and mental anguish on top of the stress.
