Depth:

Despite much drama in the weather, I consciously made a decision to not let it change my plans. I sat for meditation at the Ramakrishna Mission shrine, partly wet with rain water. The air was cool. I put one ceiling fan on, out of habit. The shrine is a big hall with many ceiling fans.

My attention remained at the relatively shallow level of Peaceful mental imagery. It really is a case of not achieving complete silence of my mind. I am beginning to sense that Peace is a strong medicine for the mind. It has to be consumed a little at a time. It can create a perfectly still mind. It also makes sense to me to think of perfect stillness as a mind that doesn’t need to generate attention seeking imagery. It would take some movement of mind to create anything at all.

Depth:

Frankly, I can’t recall much of this session. It must have taken place in a deep mind space. All I know is that I desire my gaze behind shut eyes to become still. I now know that for me to be able to observe, recognise and access spiritual retreats within my mind, I’ll have to steady my mind some more. Some movement of mind continues through my meditations. Peace hasn’t stilled my mind fully.

May I develop infinite patience while I observe Peace conduct its Herculean task of stilling my mind. Meditation after meditation, may I be able to wait for Peace’s victory✌🏼.

Depth:

This wasn’t a session of growing depth. Thankfully, I wasn’t at an absolute shallow level of mind. I wasn’t at the level where I began my practice 2 decades back. That’s the brightest plus on the meditation path. One may not grow in a given phase of one’s practice but never does one regress back to day 1 either.

Despite it being a public, all-religion temple and despite me forgetting to carry my meditation cushion, I was able to find a depth where Peace runs. My attention behind shut eyes perceived my posture as awkward, although I was sitting just fine with my spine straight.

Helsingin Sanomat julkaisi ma 21.3.2023 viimeisen puoluekannatusmittauksen ennen eduskuntavaalien äänestyksen alkua.

1. Eduskuntavaalien ennakkoäänestys alkaa ke 22.3.2023 ja jatkuu ti 28.3.2023 asti. Varsinainen vaalipäivä on su 2.4.2023.

2. Suomessa äänestetään ensisijaisesti puoluetta ja vasta sitten ehdokasta. Jos vaaliväsymys uhkaa iskeä jo etukäteen, riittää, että valitset mielestäsi parhaan (tai vähiten huonon) puolueen. Reflection

Embarking on the journey of creating a dance choreography and filming a short video to promote and support Model United Nations (MUN) in our school was a truly enriching experience. Collaborating with my friends, we seamlessly blended creativity with purpose, using the universal language of dance to show the significance of MUN. We embraced the value of friendship and supporting people around us to achieve their goals and we showcased it by using a Bruno Mars' song Count On Me. The process not only deepened our understanding of international relations but also fostered teamwork and creativity. As we navigated the world of editing and cinematography, we realized the power of multimedia in advocating for meaningful causes. This was a great and profound experience and I am proud to had been part of it.
