1967 MASERATI MISTRAL 400 COUPÉ COACHWORK BY CARROZZERIA FRUA. Last of the classic six-cylinder Maseratis, the Pietro Frua-styled Mistral commenced production in 1963. The 3.7-litre version of the Bolognese manufacturer's long-stroke engine was fitted to most cars, other options being the 3.5-litre or, from 1966, the 4.0-litre unit, all of which came with Lucas fuel injection. With 255bhp available from its larger engine, an increase of 10bhp over the 3.7-litre unit, the Mistral 4000 was good for a top speed approaching 160mph (258km/h), a classic.

Lamborghini Jalpa
The Lamborghini Jalpa V8 replaced the Urraco and the Silhouette in 1981 and sold alongside the flagship Countach V12 as Lamborghini’s ‘junior’ offering through the 1980s, being designed to take the fight to Ferrari and their similarly-sized 308 series. In true Sant’Agata fashion, the Jalpa was named after a breed of fighting bull (‘Jalpa Kandachia’) and featured aggressive Bertone-designed wedge-shaped bodywork. Powering this mid-engine beauty was a 3.5 litre quad cam V8 fed by Weber carburettors that produced 255bhp at a heady 7000rpm, giving the Jalpa a top speed of 145mph and a zero to sixty time of around six seconds. Only 410 units of the Jalpa were produced from 1981 until 1988.

Luxury Car Market 2021 — Trend, Demand & Top Brands | Wheelyfine
A four-wheeler is a necessity in today’s life, be it day-to-day commute or long-distance haul. Pre-owned exotic cars are gaining popularity rapidly, and the luxury car market expects huge demand in upcoming years. Reliability and comfort are two key factors while opting for luxury cars in India, and generation Z is always on the lookout for exciting options while buying a car. The luxury segment has become affordable due to the availability of new dealerships and an ever-increasing network of service centers. Be it BMW, Audi, Mercedes, and the like, car manufacturers have shifted their focus on affordability and accessibility to premium features.
The luxury car market is on the rise
Indian roads and highway infrastructure has improved manifold over the years, leading to smoother connectivity to remote, suburban areas and unexplored destinations. This has boosted the morale of luxury car manufacturers. According to a study conducted in the year 2020, the Indian luxury car market was valued at over $1 Billion and is expected to cross the $2 Billion mark by 2026. Pre-owned luxury SUVs are gaining more popularity in particular because of more space and high performance in tough conditions.
Why are people choosing luxury car brands?
The easy availability of pre-owned premium cars made it possible for people to try out these maintained cars first before going for the real deal. People choose luxury car brands because of better financing options, lower prices, and better facilities at dedicated dealerships. Dealerships like Mahindra First Choice offer rigorous testing on used luxury cars for sale, and paperwork is done seamlessly, which attracts consumers more than before. Key points highlighting the increasing demand are:
Affordability of used luxury cars
Smooth after-sales service by dedicated dealerships
Easy availability of loans and finance
Hassle-free paperwork
No extra import tax or duty as compared to brand new luxury cars

Future demand for luxury car brands
Used Mercedes Benz cars or pre-owned Audi cars are two of the most popular and affordable cars currently ruling the Indian market overall. The demand for other cars such as used Lexus or Porsche is more concentrated in big metropolitan cities where big businesses thrive well. The current Covid situation has proved to be a setback for luxury carmakers. Still, industry specialists are positive that the demand will rise owing to more affinity towards the personal vehicle and a wanderlust that will take over the youth after being locked into their houses for prolonged periods. According to an estimated projection, luxury car brands will see a rise in demand in the coming years which is attributed to the following factors:
Top manufacturers introducing new features
Relaxation on automobiles sale/purchase by the Indian government
Better financing through different channels
Attractive design and improved comfort
Lower resale time of new vehicles, which means more pre-owned cars available than new ones

Entry-Level Luxury Cars in India
In this segment, entry-level luxury cars are covered. Let’s take a look at some of the popular cars to watch out for:
BMW 3 series :
The BMW 3 series is known for its sheer driving pleasure and powerful performance. The powertrain delivery ranges from 400Nm torque @188–255bhp to 500Nm @ 380bhp. The BMW 3 series sits between the price ranges of INR 44 lac to INR 63 lac. The updated design and exclusive added feature of the 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment panel make it a go-to car for young enthusiasts. The mileage ranges between 12kmpl to 21kmpl shared between the petrol and diesel variants, making it all the more desirable for Indian conditions.
Audi A4 :
The Audi A4 does not look very catchy to the eye, but this feature-packed ride is a must for people who prioritize comfort and power overlooks. Priced at INR 43 lac, it is quite affordable for business class individuals and does not fail to deliver what it promises. Its drive train is capable of dishing out a torque 320Nm @ 188bhp, with claimed mileage range of 12.3kmpl (for petrol variant) to 16.6kmpl (for diesel variant). The unique feature of this car is a 12.3-inch virtual cockpit which makes driving as exciting as ever.
Mercedes-Benz A-class:
Owning a Mercedes is a dream for most Indians as it is always known for its royal, high-status stature. The Mercedes-Benz A-class is priced lower than its counterparts but lives up to a reputation of comfort and luxury, which Mercedes is known for. Starting from INR 39.9 lac, this luxury sedan with its 2000cc engine dishes out a maximum torque of 250Nm @161bhp. This means that you get the right balance of power and mileage. The mileage is astonishing 21.35kmpl for the 2litre diesel engine, which is higher than most of its rivals. The MBUX infotainment system onboard is the key highlight which makes it a class apart.
Jaguar XE :
Complimenting style with aggression, the Jaguar XE is the go-to mean machine after BMW. It still remains a true driver’s car, and upgraded body styling adds icing to the cake. With a starting price of INR 46.7 lac, it is fairly competitive to its rivals, given the heavy built and safety features onboard this beast. This sedan generates a maximum torque of 365Nm and 430Nm for the petrol and diesel variants, respectively. The key highlight is the upgraded suspension system which enables seamless ride comfort.

New entry-level Toyota GR Supra launched in Europe Toyota will bring a new entry-level variant of its GR Supra sports car to Europe, powered by a 258bhp four-cylinder engine.  The model has made its first public appearance at a Toyota event in Amsterdam, where it is being shown in limited-run Fuji Speedway trim, which features a bespoke metallic white paint finish, matt black alloy wheels, and red interior and trim elements.  Like the 3.0-litre straight six already offered in the Supra, the new turbocharged 2.0-litre motor is taken from BMW’s sports car engine line-up. It sends 255bhp and 295lb ft to the rear wheels through an eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox, while emitting between 156 and 172g/km of CO2.  Despite the 80bhp power deficit compared with the 3.0-litre model, the 2.0-litre Supra’s 0-62mph time is just 0.8sec slower at 5.2sec, and it can be expected to match the 149mph top speed of the BMW Z4 sDrive30i, which uses the same engine.  Toyota says the new engine is more compact and 100kg lighter than the 3.0-litre unit, so it can be mounted further towards the middle of the car for 50/50 weight distribution. This, it is claimed, “improves the car’s inertia characteristics and chassis balance for even sharper handling”.  Tetsuya Tada, the Supra’s chief engineer, said: “To achieve agile steering and stable cornering, we worked very hard to reduce the new car’s weight, while aiming for a 50/50 weight balance. This presented us with huge challenges, but we did not want to compromise on our targets.” From

AMAZING..!! 2019 BMW Z4 sDrive20i M Sport – Design, Interior and Priced
via IFTTT 2019 BMW Z4 sDrive20i M Sport – Design, Interior and Priced the bmw z4 2019 interior,2019 bmw z4 roadster, bmw z4 full review m40i g29 2019,2019 BMW Z4 sDrive20i M Sport,2019 bmw z4,z4,2019 z4,bmw z4 sdrive20i,bmw z4 sdrive20i m sport, new bmw z4,2019 bmw z4 sdrive20i sport,2019 bmw x3 review, bmw z4 sdrive20i 2019,2019 bmw z4 review, new bmw interior video, bmw z4 on sale march 2019,new bmw z4 2019 review At a time when so many new cars are turning hybrid or EV – and more often than not either a crossover or SUV – the slightly old school but still brand-new BMW Z4 comes as a refreshing interlude. Available with three different petrol engines and in three different specifications, the new front-engined, rear-wheel drive Z4 is aimed squarely at the driving enthusiast. And the engineers have an intriguing way of describing the difference between the old model and the new. The previous Z4 was a machine to drive on a Sunday afternoon, they say, ideally when the sun was shining but not necessarily when there was no one else around. The old Z4 wasn’t, BMW now concedes, a full-blown sports car. But it’s the extra dynamic precision of the new Z4 that distinguishes it most clearly above its predecessor. That becomes pretty obvious from the moment you turn the key – especially the entry-level sDrive20i Sport. The 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine might not have the same muscle of the M40i M Performance, it has just 194bhp and 320Nm of torque, giving it a 0-62mph time of 6.6 seconds and a top speed of 149mph. But this doesn’t prevent it from being a surprisingly satisfying and sharp sports car to drive, with decent-enough throttle response and excellent outright acceleration. The steering is sweeter than in the more powerful six-cylinder model and, we believe, the chassis is crisper, too. It also emits just 138g/km versus 165g/km for the M40i. The UK range starts at £36,990 for the sDrive20i Sport, rising to £40,690 for the more powerful (but still four-cylinder) 255bhp 30i Sport, topping out at £49,050 for the M40i M Performance model. The 20i and 30i come with 18-inch wheels and tyres, though 19s are available as options across the board. The cheapest new Z4 is well-equipped, pretty good looking and a fair bit more practical than its predecessor. More important than that, however, is it’s now genuinely engaging to drive – even with a lowly 2.0-litre engine in its nose. It’s no wonder this very model is expected to be the biggest seller, then, accounting for at least 60 per cent of new Z4 sales.
