Pluto in the houses
Tumblr media
Disclaimer. This article touches on unpleasant topics for conversation. Please don't be sad when reading it. Thank you:)
Pluto is responsible in astrology for transformations, death, destruction, power, sex, crises. This planet is one of the most difficult to interpret the natal chart, because it shows skeletons in the closet.
Pluto in 1st house:
1.This is an indicator of mental endurance. Such people have experienced many terrible and difficult situations. For example, the death of loved ones, fire, drugs, alcoholism, depression, suicide attempts. Their life is filled with stages to which they try not to return. What's gone is gone.
2.I noticed that such people always have some unusual scar or birthmark, a mole on their face
3.Such people can really be a leader in a group or is in authority. The paradox is that they are most often not very talkative and energetic and don't like attention, but the people around them respect their opinion and often ask them for advice.
4.They love sarcasm and self-irony, as well as making fun of friends.
5.They have a high sense of empathy for people, so they feel lies or hypocrisy of the interlocutor well. This is a great placement for psychologists, tarologists or astrologers.
6.Most likely, such people have heard more than once that they have a heavy or tired look.
7.Pluto in the 1st house in the aspects with Mars, Mercury or the Sun can indicate manipulativeness, imperiousness and aggressiveness. Before doing this, please also analyse the other placements of the natal chart.
Pluto in the 2nd house:
1.An indicator of a great love for material things. Of course, everyone loves money, but not like people with Pluto in the 2nd house. Many of these people have deposits, are thinking about buying real estate or investing. Don't forget, Pluto is a planet of other people's money, so people with this placement are good in business and sales.
2.With tense aspects with other planets, this placement can mean greed, wastefulness, unwillingness to earn money on their own. Such people like to dream and do nothing.
3.Such people love antiques. I noticed that they can keep memorabilia, postcards and gifts from friends in a box for many years.
4.They always know how to save money. If you want to know where you can buy something at a discount, then ask them. Perhaps such people like second-hand shops.
5.I noticed that such people have faced fraud or theft.
6.Their thoughts often become material. I'm not talking about global dreams, for example, about buying a car. Such people may think about a new bag and get a bonus or an opportunity to earn extra money the next day.
7.Pluto loves change, so it's not surprising if people with this placement can move to another city to earn money. Such people could face difficult choices or risks to succeed.
Pluto in the 3rd house:
1.Good analytical skills. This is a good placement for people working in IT, engineering, economics and psychology.
2.With tense aspects with other planets, it may indicate poor memory, short temper and rebelliousness, problems with focusing attention.
3.My personal observation. This is an indicator that in childhood a person could be bullied, change schools, study martial arts. In general, such people are more likely than others to encounter toxic people.
4.This is a very good placement for speakers. Firstly, they know how to convey their message to the audience. Secondly, they have a pleasant voice (but you also need to look at other placements).Thirdly, such people don't like to be silent. For the same reason, I would advise them to keep a diary or write their thoughts and ideas in notes.
5.This is an indicator of an honest person. He will not lie out of courtesy or for selfish purposes. Ask him anything and you will hear his true thoughts.
6.This is a lover of heart-to-heart talk :)
7.Of course, you need to look at the other placements of the natal chart, but most often such people's brains work better in the afternoon or at night.
Pluto in the 4th house:
1.The 4th house in astrology represents family, childhood and mother. For an accurate interpretation, look at the sun and moon in your natal chart. This is an indicator of parents' divorce, constant moving, strained relations in the family. Such a person could receive insufficient love and attention from his parents. Often this is an indication of strict upbringing.
2.Good intuition. Perhaps someone on the maternal side had esoteric abilities.
3.He likes to do the interior of the house. The house for this person is the personification of his personality. The very type of people who start cleaning if they have a lot of stress or anxiety.
4.It is very important for this person to make friends with his inner child in order not to succumb to his desires. For example, you need to determine what is home and a sense of security for you, what is love and attention of loved ones for you, etc. Until you answer these questions, you will unknowingly create problems in your life.
5.This is a possible indicator of an inheritance or a precious family heirloom (but you also need to look at the 8th house in the natal chart)
6.If the other placements in the natal chart don't indicate a bad relationship with parents, then Pluto in the 4th house may indicate that a person had a strong mother. The child could admire her stress resistance, diligence, integrity. She is a complex, but very interesting person.
7.Such people have matured early. In childhood, they were wise children, with whom adults were surprised.
Pluto in the 5th house:
1.'Sorry,I'm anti-romantic".With tense aspects with other planets (especially Venus) this is an indicator of complete aversion to love. A person is afraid of relationships because of possible betrayal or low self-esteem (you need to look at the rest of the placements of the natal chart).
2.A great placement for actors. People like to watch their emotions and listen to them. Emotionality and a high level of empathy is expressed in artistry, which is noticeable even in ordinary conversation. It is not surprising that this placement is really found in many famous actors (Milla Jovovich, Robert Pattinson, Jon Voight, Lady Gaga)
3.Such a person can really select and create a new personality and image for a particular person, which causes problems in his personal life. For some, he is a cheerful extrovert, for others a homebody, for others an ambitious workaholic.
4.Most often, such people are jealous and demand passion and emotions in a relationship (but you need to look at Venus and the Moon in the natal chart)They want to literally get under their partner's skin and breathe the same air. Their love is constant, but very demanding.
5.Pluto is a planet of change, and the 5th house embodies creativity, so such people can be music lovers, often change their style of clothing and their appearance.
6.I notice that the language of love for such people is a physical touch.
7.A man who loves competitions. Firstly, they know how to win.Secondly, they have good endurance.Thirdly, they do not see obstacles. The only disadvantage is that a person can go against the rules and cheat. It's better not to argue with them.
Pluto in the 6th house:
1.Good immunity.A person rarely gets sick and he is physically hardy.(but you need to look at the rest of the placements)
2.The very kind of employee who wants to improve working conditions. He will not be silent if he is not allowed to go on vacation or on sick leave, not to agree to work overtime without additional pay. Responsible, but very demanding employee. Treats colleagues with respect, but tries not to start a friendship at work.
3.With tense aspects with other planets, this is an indicator of workaholism to your detriment. A person can harm his health due to lack of rest and sleep.
4.An indicator that a person may think too much about their health and body. Often Pluto in the 6th house is found in hypochondriacs, people with an eating disorder.
5.Often such people experience impostor syndrome, as they cannot fully accept their achievements.
6.This is a great placement for leadership positions.Such people know how to manage and motivate people. The only downside is that they can go too far and be too overbearing and demanding of their employees.
7.Their emotional state is stronger than that of other people, affects their health. The stomach and skin are especially vulnerable.
Pluto in the 7th house:
1.This placement is most often found in the natal charts of people who have experienced an unpleasant experience in love (divorce, toxic relationships, infidelity, death of a partner)
2.Many of them have a person who can unsuccessfully seek their hearts for several years.
3.With tense aspects with other planets, this is an indicator that a person can be sacrificial in a relationship. Sometimes I find this placement in the natal charts of people who have been subjected to domestic violence.
4.This is one of the indicators of late marriage.
5.The 7th house represents not only a partner, but also enemies. Such people could survive betrayal from the closest people, after which they began to experience trust problems.
6.A person who gives good relationship advice, but doesn't follow it himself.
7.Such people tend to fall under the influence of a partner. (but you also need to look at the other placements in the natal chart). It is important for them to learn to appreciate their hobbies, their character and their dreams, and not to change them because of a partner.
Pluto in the 8th house:
1.Fatalist. This man has been convinced more than once in his life that everything that is not being done is for the best.
2.An indicator of high libido (but you also need to look at Mars and the Sun). They are active and good at sex.
3.I noticed that these people always had a case when they almost died. Many of them had an accident.
4.They understood what karma is from birth. All the bad things always come back to them, as well as the best. Their enemies always get what they deserve.
5.Strong energy (somewhat similar to Pluto in the 1st house). During a conversation with them, you can be filled with energy for the rest of your life. They seem to be out of this world.
6.Possible mental problems. As well as psychological diseases (depression, ocd, adhd, etc.), and diseases of the central nervous system. Many of them suffer from insomnia, seizures or panic attacks (but for this you need to study the natal chart in detail)
7.Such a person is prone to hyperfixation on something. It is important for him to develop comprehensively so that his thoughts are not limited to one idea.
Pluto in the 9th house:
1.A person who likes to study other cultures.Perhaps he listens to a lot of foreign music, learns languages and watches travel shows.
2.There are two extremes here (you need to look at the natal chart).Or a person completely denies higher education and believes that it is not necessary in the modern world.Or on the contrary, he considers it the most important and seeks to get several.
3.A person who thinking on your feet. His mind is very active, but long-term memory can often be confused.
4.This is a person who is able to get information out of the ground.A good placement for detectives.
5.I often meet this placement in the natal charts of lawyers, police officers, people from social services. They try to change the world for the better because of a high sense of justice.Often there are philanthropists among them.
6.With tense aspects with other planets, such a person could be forced to move to another country or city because of poor living conditions.
7.A very inquisitive person. He's easy to learn on his own, so don't be surprised if he acquired most of his skills from the internet.
Pluto in the 10th house:
1.This placement is most often found in the natal charts of people whose profession literally saves someone's life (doctor, military, firefighter, etc.)
2.They are very purposeful and stubborn people. If they argue, they argue to the end. If they work, they definitely go for a promotion. The type of person who doesn't listen to someone's advice.
3.Such people tend to postpone some savings until old age.For example, to purchase additional real estate or find a source of passive income. In matters of finance, they think very big.
4.They respect reputable people, but they are not afraid of them. They don't care about your position, job and income, you will always be an ordinary person.
5.I noticed that these people are often stalked on social networks.People admire and envy them a little.
6.Their thinking is very practical.(but you need to look at the natal chart) Their logic gets the better of their emotions. They are not cold-blooded, but rather realists.
7.Such people are more likely than others to face rivalry at work or when applying to university.
Pluto in the 11th house:
1.Such people stopped communicating with people more often than others because of changes in their lives.
2.With tense aspects with other planets, such a person may fall under the influence of bad company or toxic friends.
3.This person believes in lifelong friendship and is looking for someone with whom he will be himself, but instead he is even more horrified with other people.
4.This placement is often found in the natal charts of volunteers, school/university activists. Such people like to work in a team and are often led by them.
5.Such people don't really like to express their opinions in a group (but you need to look at Mercury and the Sun). They would rather choose a compromise than defend their choice.
6.A good placement for influencers. Such people have more chances to gain popularity.
7.Also, with tense aspects with other planets, this is an indicator of a social phobe.A person does not trust and is afraid of people. He is comfortable in his loneliness because of trust issues.
Pluto in the 12th house:
1.A person who is used to asking for advice from others. It is easier for him to ask the opinion of several people, think about everything and only then make a decision.
2.This is a good placement for psychologists and psychiatrists. These people are interested in the human soul from a scientific point of view.Perhaps they are fond of philosophy and have read the works of famous psychiatrists and philosophers.
3.The people who keep secrets the best. And their own too:)
4.Such people need to periodically restore their energy while alone and turn off the phone. So don't be surprised if this person disappears for a week, he's just resting.
5.In such people, intuition works most strongly through dreams and signs. Pay attention to information from the outside.
6.Life seems to deliberately confront these people with their fears. Although these people do not seem at first glance brave and courageous, in fact they are very strong.
7.I noticed that such people prefer to work alone.

Posted this one before- the 1920 home in Birmingham, AL has been re-listed for sale 4 times since 2022, and has undergone the following price changes: $1.45M; $1.25M; $1.05M; $975K; until the current $925K.
Tumblr media
The sun porch entrance would make a stunning conservatory.
Tumblr media
In order to buy this house, you have to like your homes ornate. When you have a home like this, by repainting too much, you ruin the sharpness of the details.
Tumblr media
The dining room is off the entrance hall.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Notice how the sitting room has 2 steps down. I would have to warn any guests, b/c they're gonna trip, for sure. Who would expect that?
Tumblr media
This less formal sitting room, used as a family room, opens to the garden. Interesting floral floor. I wonder if it's hand painted.
Tumblr media
Off the family room there's a mini kitchen where they have a wine rack, microwave, mini fridge, and ice maker. Look at the fancy sink.
Tumblr media
Judging by the books and magazines, they must spend a lot of time in here- guest powder room on the main floor.
Tumblr media
I didn't expect a galley kitchen.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But, there's space for a table on either end.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here's another sitting room with steps up to the main floor primary bedroom.
Tumblr media
It has a small en-suite with an original tub. Nice mirrored sink cabinet.
Tumblr media
The paintings on the walls are, according to the description, museum quality.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Look at that ceiling. You know, I bet this home would look cool in gray and black goth style.
Tumblr media
Small bedroom #1 is surrounded by windows.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This bath is majorly ornate. Look at the sink! Arches in the shower, too, and mirrors everywhere.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Larger room with a ceiling mural. I wonder if that pink desk would convey.
Tumblr media
This is nice- a big covered terrace on the 2nd level.
Tumblr media
Back on the ground level, there's a small workshop.
Tumblr media
Deck with a hot tub surrounded by ivy-covered walls.
Tumblr media
Here's a patio with a pergola.
Tumblr media
Gated front with a one-car garage. 8,712 sq ft lot. I'd definitely buy it.

Mazda Chantez kei car with a 13B from an FD3S RX7 transplanted. Engine converted to high comp NA with fuel from a Weber carby. Front suspension and gearbox from an SA22C RX7. Custom 4 link rear suspension.
TRANSLATION OF TEXT AND PIC CAPTIONS
Super Chantez revived as a modern version. Enjoy watching and driving.
This year Mr. Shimoyama's Chantez came in 2nd place with a difference of one vote. This Chantez is a remake of a car that RE Amemiya once built. However, it is not a complete remake at all.
This can be said to be the reason why we were able to score points. The installed engine has been replaced with a 13B-REW for FD3S. The 13B is set to NA, and a high compression rotor (compression ratio 9.7) is installed in the side port tune. Also, instead of using injection, the engine was intentionally changed to Weber's downdraft, producing a maximum output of 246PS. Of course, exhaust manifolds, mufflers, etc are custom items and are made of stainless materials.
And that's not the only thing that makes this Little Gang style Chantez so great. The rear suspension has been completely rebuilt. From normal leaf to original 4-link subframe
(It's also full pillow) and there's a lot left.
They are now able to accept the power that comes with it. On the other hand, a new strut tower has been installed for the front suspension, and the suspension from the SA22C has been reused. By the way, the cost to modify this model of Chantez was over 3.3 million yen. Since the modification has been so thorough, I guess there's nothing that can be done about it. Now, the owner, Mr. Shimoyama, is currently putting this Chantez up for sale for 1.98 million yen.
_________________________________________
This is the newly installed suspension
In order to absorb this power, the rear suspension has been made into a 4-link structure. The interior is also lined with linkage, making it fully covered. The differential is a pre-rotary one.
For an intimidating style
Since this size is equipped with extremely thick tires, it is inevitable to install over fenders. Everything is filled with putty and the bodywork is beautiful. By the way, the amount of offset is
-10 or more.
_______________________________________
It's a scorching hell inside the room.
Since this body is equipped with a rotary engine that generates a lot of heat, it gets quite hot inside. Heat countermeasures will be taken with heat shield tape. The shift lever position will be changed to accommodate the SA mission.
This body is equipped with a 13B
The heart of this little giant is 13B-REW. NA, side ports, Weber, etc., generating about 250PS. The strut tower has been rebuilt to accommodate the suspension for SA22C.
________________________________________
A powerful over fender that accommodates extra-thick tires. Tire size 175/50R13 is worn on the front and rear.

August 2nd - Day 3 - Band Aid/Hospital drabble
@takaritsuweek
“Hello,” Ritsu answers his cellphone as he rushes along the sidewalk towards his next appointment. It’s crunch time for the publishing editors to get their authors drafts turned in. “This is Onodera— Oh, hello Miyashiro Sensei. Yes, I’m on my way…what, oh, um, passing 7/11 on Koyama Street … uh-huh, maybe 10 more minutes till I get to your apartment. Oh, good, you’ve got the storyboard ready, great! Then we’ll be able to get it to the printers on time for—”
“LOOK OUT!”
Ritsu quickly turns toward the piercing scream only to see a car barreling straight for him…
Meanwhile, at Marukawa Publishing, senior editor Masamune Takano is busy helping his editors to get the drafts turned in on time. Print day is always the hardest time on the Emerald shojo staff, but so far things have been progressing well with one exception. The only editor he hasn’t heard from yet is Ritsu Onodera, and this is making him nervous. Ritsu’s not one to just disappear and definitely not on print day.
Masamune looks at the phone on his desk every few minutes, ready to scoop it up if it rings. Where the hell is Ritsu?! He rifles through papers, staring at and not really absorbing what he’s reading as a sense of dread eats away at his consciousness. Maybe he’s just being paranoid… He and Ritsu have finally started dating, officially, a couple of months ago and there is that small part in the back of his mind that worries his first love will run away again. ‘No that’s silly,’ he chides his mind and goes back to reading. They’re all just busy today.
RING RING
‘See!’ Masamune snaps at himself. That’s probably Ritsu. “Hello!” He practically screams into the receiver. “Rit— Wait what?! Ritsu is— Yes! I’m coming right now!”
He hangs up and grabs his coat, yelling at one of his shoujo editors Shouta Kisa that Ritsu’s in the hospital and to hold down the office.
“What?!” Shouta yells back, but Masamune is already in the elevator. He hadn’t quite understood what his boss said, something about Onodera and hospital, but it sure sounds bad. So, he alerts Takafumi Yokozawa of the sales team and goes back to getting the printing completed. With his boss out, they’ll need to get things done without him.
As soon as Masamune arrives at the hospital, he’s directed to the surgery floor and rushes to find out what is going on, cornering a poor nurse at the head station. At first, she refuses to tell him anything, so he lies and tells her Onodera is a cousin, but that only gets him told to wait in the waiting room for now because Ritsu is in surgery. Surgery for what?! How bad is it?! He’s like a caged animal, continuously pacing around the waiting room as the worst-case scenarios threaten his sanity. It must be really bad to be rushed into surgery, right? Like, rushed, as in we need to stop him from dying, rush?? “Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!” Masamune mutters to himself like a deranged patient as he paces. Someone needs to tell him something and soon!
His friend Takafumi is the first to stop by to check on him, knowing this will be difficult on his old friend. Takafumi manages to get Masamune to sit down and stop pacing, but Ritsu’s unknown status eats at him. So, he buries his face in his hands still unwilling to show his tears, forgetting that the ache is painfully evident in his tone. This is Masamune’s ultimate fear come to life, to lose Ritsu again. “I can’t go through that again,” he vents to Takafumi in barely a whisper. His friend rubs his back and keeps repeating everything will be okay. If only he could believe it right now. Ritsu’s parents also show up and wait for their son to come out of surgery. Because of his mental state, Takafumi bridges the conversations with Masamune. They know their son Ritsu is in a relationship with the man but are still in the stage of accepting it. Perhaps seeing the pain he’s going through over their son will help to heal that gap.
It’s an agonizing 3 hour wait before they are led to a room in intensive care. The doctors tell them that a car lost control and jumped the curb, striking Ritsu head on which sent him flying into the building’s wall. There is extensive internal damage in his chest and abdomen from where the bumper struck along with head contusions that have caused some swelling in his brain, a broken left arm, and twisted right ankle. They’ve managed to reduce the swelling, remove excess fluid from a bruised lung, and casted the arm, but have placed him in a sedated state for the night to keep him calm while he fully stabilizes. Ritsu is expected to pull through as long as the damage in his brain has been contained. They’ll know more for sure if he stays stable till the morning.
After they thank the doctor, Masamune tells Ritsu’s parents that he’ll stay here until their son wakes up, so they don’t need to. They thank him, and he promises to contact them as soon as Ritsu is awake. He also asks Takafumi to go to he and Ritsu’s apartment to grab them a change of clothes and basic toiletries since he doesn’t know how long he’ll be there.
“I know how important Ritsu is to you, but you know you have a job to do, right,” Takafumi scolds Masamune. “Luckily today’s print was taken care of by your editors, but that doesn’t mean you can leave everything in their hands.”
“Think I don’t know that!” Masamune snaps back. “They’ll call me if they need anything, but I’m not leaving no matter what anyone says. Ritsu means more to me than the job!”
Takafumi rolls his eyes. “You act tough, but you’re such a sap for him.” He waves curtly as he starts to walk out of the room.
Masamune yells after him, “don’t forget my stuff!”
“Yeah, yeah…” Takafumi can be heard snipping back from the hall.
“Ugh,” Masamune drops onto the seat beside his boyfriend’s bed, keeping his head down as the tears well up and ache in his heart threatens to tear him apart. Tough, yeah, he does act tough to those around him, but Takafumi has him dead to rights when it comes to Ritsu. Can anyone blame him? Over 10 years of an unrequited love will turn anyone into a sap if they finally get who they want. Thats why this is so unfair! Hasn’t their relationship gone through enough pain and angst for a lifetime that this is thrown into the mix? Masamune clenches his fist, digging his nails into the skin to feel something other than emotional pain.
The scene in the room is enough to break anyone’s heart. To see the man he loves lying there, unmoving except for the rise and fall of his chest with tubes to help him breath. Ritsu’s head is wrapped with a bandage that covers all the way to the brow line, the left ear completely, with tufts of brown hair peeking through a few areas around the crown. Masamune takes note of the purplish-blue bruising on the left side of his face from where it must’ve struck the car hood or wall and assumes there are bruises elsewhere covered by the hospital gown or blanket. Next, the cast on Ritsu’s left arm extends from the hand to above the elbow because the ulna and radius has snapped, and the doctors did surgery to hold them back together until the bones fuse and heal.
Masamune takes hold of Ritsu’s right hand… ‘so cold,’ he flinches because the skin is cold to the touch. He clasps both his hands around to warm it. Likely a useless gesture except to make him feel better, but when you desperately wish you could do something to help when there is nothing you can do, hope is the only avenue left. He squeezes his eyes shut to dam his tears. “I’d trade places in a heartbeat,” the voice low and cracking. “I’m not going anywhere. I’ll be here. Onodera you better not go anywhere either.”
Keeping his eyes closed to the scene barely helps Masamune feel any better. The muffled voices of hospital staff in the hallway remind him of where he is. Then there’s the beeping and whooshing noises of the machines hooked up to Ritsu. A steady beep, beep, beep of the heart monitor is anxiety inducing when they change rhythm even briefly. But if he tunes these out, a resting silence that should bring peace, brings chills instead as if some sinister presence will suddenly make itself known. Masamune opens his eyes and slaps his cheeks. “Get it together!” He chides himself. “Just settle in ‘cause it’s gonna be a long night.”
Early the next morning, the doctors come in to check on Ritsu. Masamune stands in the doorframe watching them hook his boyfriend up to an electroencephalogram (EEG) to check his brain activity. Good news is the activity looks normal; the bad news is doctors aren’t sure why he hasn’t woken up. They explain the sedatives should have worn off by now but sometimes the body is not ready to wake up yet and all they can do is keep an eye on his vital signs. Ritsu is stable, so it is something to hang his positivity on. While the doctors are running the tests, Takafumi stops by before heading to work to drop off a bag of clothes and toiletries. It’s obvious Masamune didn’t get much sleep the night before, so Takafumi scolds him again about taking care of himself, to which Masamune retorts he’s fine.
Though fine is somewhat subjective in this situation. He’s fine in that he’s not pacing like a caged animal anymore or sobbing uncontrollably. But he’s not fine in that he hasn’t eaten since the previous afternoon nor taken a bath in the past two nights ago. He sits back down next to Ritsu’s bed and puts the bag on his lap to see what Takafumi brought. Inside, he finds soap, a pair of jeans, fresh underwear and socks, and a t-shirt… Uncontrollable tears instantly burst through at the sight of the shirt, because it’s one that Ritsu bought for him while on a business trip. Of all the tops to choose, Takafumi chose a heart wrenching one.
In all honesty, Masamune felt the shirt doesn’t match him, but Ritsu was adamant that he thought he looks good in the color, and since it is a gift from his boyfriend, of course he’ll wear it. He holds the shirt up, using it to cover his face as the tears flow and soft sobbing take hold. He doesn’t want the shirt, he wants Ritsu back! “Ritsu, damn it you better wake up!” He angrily mumbles through the sobbing. “Don’t you dare think you can leave me again because I won’t survive a second time! Please… please,” his sobbing grows moister and ragged, “just wake up Ritsu. Just wake up and tell me you’ll be okay… don’t leave me…”
Suddenly, Masamune hears what sounds like someone talking, but it is too soft to tell if it’s even coming from the room or from the hallway. He peaks over the shirt with his blood shot eyes and tear trailed skin to sees nothing changed.
“Masa…”
Now that caught his attention! The voice is too soft to hear, but it is definitely Ritsu! Masamune looks at his boyfriend whose eyes are still closed but his mouth is open which it wasn’t before. He leans in much closer. “Ritsu?” He asks tentatively. “Did you just say something?”
In a barely audible voice, Ritsu whispers, “I’ve never seen you cry before.”
“Oh,” that makes Masamune snort a sobbing laugh. “It just…”
“Makes me love you even more,” Ritsu finishes his sentence.
Such a statement almost sends Masamune falling off the chair. “S-So you heard me talking too?” Ritsu just nods a slow and short yes in response. “Well, I meant all of it!” He clasps Ritsu’s free hand, intertwining their fingers, pulling it to his face and places several kisses to the back while also smoothing it over his cheek. “I love you Ritsu, I need you so much!”
Ritsu weakly squeezes his hand back with a whisper. “I’m here, Masa.”
With just a few confirmatory words, Ritsu eases Masamune’s heart and allows it to settle down again. He has his boyfriend here, right next to him, bruised and battered from the accident, but alive. “Don’t worry about anything, I’ll take care of you until you’re better.”
“I’d expect so,” Ritsu snips back.
Masamune chuckles and places a lingering kiss on his boyfriend’s hand. Yeah… everything will be alright now.

This was my 2nd year participating in Merlin Bingo, and this year...I got a Bingo!
So here’s the list of my 5 modern/no magic Merlin/Arthur bingo fics beneath the cut!
Rumor Has It  [Merlin/Arthur | T | 6k] I1:  Pornstar AU  | Modern/No Magic | Misunderstandings, Coming Out, College/University
Arthur hasn't met all of Morgana's new friends at college, but he's especially suspicious about this new guy he's heard is dating Gwen.
That's nothing a few conversations can't clear up— or make much more complicated.
After talk of OnlyFans accounts, and discussions 'through the closet door,' how will it all shake out?
Message Not Received  [Merlin/Arthur | T | 8k] I2:  Bedside Vigil | Modern/No Magic | Feelings Realization, Accidental Baby Acquisition, Angst with a Happy Ending
Hospital coworkers Arthur and Merlin are best friends now, however that happened, and nothing can come between them: Except maybe a car accident, a coma, and a whole bunch of uncovered secrets and realizations.
Order Up
[Merlin/Arthur | G | 1.8k] I3:  Flirting | Modern/No Magic | Coffee Shops & Cafés, Flirting, Oblivious
Merlin's new at the coffee shop, Arthur's new at feeling out of his depth, and Gwen's an old hand at dealing with aggravating people, customers and coworkers alike.
 Edge of Our Seats  [Merlin/Arthur | T | 1.5k] I4:  Confession in a desperate situation | Modern/No Magic | Near-Death Experiences
Bandmates Merlin and Arthur have had a million conversations over the years, but there's a few things they never had the time or the nerve to say to each other. A near-death experience is as good a time as any to finally say what they mean.
Adaptation    [Merlin/Arthur | G | 1.5k] I5:  Bookstore AU | Modern/No Magic | Awkward Flirting, Books
Working at the bookstore can be boring at times, but Merlin and Gwen have a fit new customer keeping them distracted.
Is he there for the books? Is he there for one of them? Is he a figment of their imagination? The owner, Gaius, doesn’t actually care, but he suggests a staff favorites board at the till, because if their new favorite customer repeatedly buys one person’s recommendations, well, maybe it’s a sign of affection and shared interests? And either way, at least then they’ll “be making sales, people, get back to work already!”

Maintenance Costs of Used Luxury Cars
Tumblr media
Luxury cars are renowned for their sleek designs, advanced features, and superior performance. However, one aspect that potential buyers often consider before diving into the world of luxury vehicles is the maintenance costs. While the allure of owning a prestigious car is undeniable, it’s essential to understand and plan for the maintenance expenses associated with used luxury cars. In this blog, we’ll explore the factors that contribute to the maintenance costs of used luxury cars and provide tips on how to manage them effectively.
1. High-Quality Parts and Components:
Luxury cars are built using high-quality materials and sophisticated components, which contribute to their superior performance and durability. However, these premium parts often come with a higher price tag when it comes to repairs and replacements. From specialized engines to advanced electronic systems, maintaining a luxury car requires using genuine OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts, which can be more expensive than aftermarket alternatives.
2. Specialized Labor and Expertise:
Servicing and repairing luxury cars often require specialized skills and expertise that may not be readily available at every local mechanic or service center. Certified technicians with training and experience in working with luxury vehicles are essential for maintaining the performance and integrity of these cars. As a result, labor costs for servicing luxury cars tend to be higher than those for non-luxury vehicles.
3. Advanced Technology and Features:
Modern luxury cars are equipped with a plethora of advanced technology and features, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, and autonomous driving capabilities. While these features enhance the driving experience and safety of the vehicle, they also require regular updates and maintenance to ensure optimal functionality. Diagnostic tools and software used to diagnose and repair these sophisticated systems can add to the overall maintenance costs of luxury cars.
4. Regular Maintenance Requirements:
Like any other vehicle, luxury cars require regular maintenance to keep them running smoothly and prevent costly repairs down the line. Scheduled services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections, are essential for maintaining the performance and longevity of luxury cars. Additionally, luxury car manufacturers often recommend more frequent maintenance intervals compared to non-luxury brands, which can contribute to higher maintenance costs over time.
Tips for Managing Maintenance Costs:
Follow Manufacturer Recommendations: Adhering to the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedule is crucial for keeping maintenance costs in check and avoiding unexpected repairs.
Invest in Preventive Maintenance: Regularly servicing your luxury car and addressing minor issues promptly can help prevent more significant and costlier problems from arising later on.
Shop Around for Service Centers: Compare prices and reviews from different service centers to find one that offers quality service at a reasonable cost.
Consider Extended Warranty or Service Plans: Investing in an extended warranty or service plan can provide added peace of mind and help cover unexpected repair costs beyond the manufacturer’s warranty period.
Join Online Forums or Owner Communities: Participating in online forums or owner communities can provide valuable insights and tips on maintaining and servicing your specific luxury car model.
While the maintenance costs of used luxury cars may be higher compared to non-luxury vehicles, proper planning and proactive maintenance can help mitigate these expenses. By understanding the factors that contribute to maintenance costs and implementing cost-effective strategies, you can enjoy the luxury and prestige of owning a high-end vehicle without breaking the bank.

In-Depth Study On The Best Second Hand Cars
When searching for second hand cars, especially a Mercedes 2nd hand, it is important to approach the process with caution and thorough research. Used cars from luxury brands like Mercedes can offer significant savings compared to new models but require careful scrutiny to ensure you get a great deal. Begin by researching the specific model and its common issues. Check if there are any known problems with the model you are interested in and ensure that the vehicle has a clear and clean history. Exploring used cars for sale through reputable sources can greatly impact the quality of your purchase. Look for listings from trusted used car dealers who provide detailed vehicle histories and have a reputation for honesty. A dealer with a solid track record will often offer warranties or guarantees that add value and peace of mind to your purchase. Check out the below mentioned website, if you are seeking for more information about mercedes 2nd hand.
Tumblr media
When considering a Mercedes 2nd hand, it's crucial to engage with a dealer who specializes in luxury vehicles to ensure you are getting a well-maintained car. During your search for second hand cars, particularly a Mercedes 2nd hand, it’s essential to focus on the condition of the vehicle. Examine the car for any signs of wear and tear and ask for a detailed maintenance history. Ensure that the used cars have been properly serviced and check if any major repairs have been made. A thorough inspection can help uncover any potential issues that might affect the car’s performance and longevity. If you are considering various options, such as a Used Land Rover or Used Ford, compare these vehicles to the Mercedes 2nd hand model. Each brand offers different features and advantages. For example, while a Used Land Rover may excel in off-road capabilities, a Mercedes 2nd hand car might offer superior comfort and luxury. Evaluating multiple models helps ensure that you select the vehicle that best meets your needs and preferences.
Additionally, don’t overlook the importance of a pre-purchase inspection when buying second hand cars. This is particularly crucial for a Mercedes 2nd hand or any other luxury vehicle, as the cost of repairs can be higher. A trusted mechanic can provide a comprehensive assessment of the vehicle’s condition and highlight any potential issues that might not be visible during a standard check. This step can prevent unexpected costs and ensure that you are making a sound investment. In summary, ensuring you get a great deal on a Mercedes 2nd hand involves careful research and due diligence. Start by exploring used cars for sale from reputable used car dealers and thoroughly inspecting the vehicle’s condition. Comparing the Mercedes 2nd hand with other options like Used Land Rover or Used Ford can also help you make an informed decision. By following these steps, you can confidently find a high-quality second hand car that offers both value and reliability.

to love a racecar boy (ode to 2nd place)
if i could give you anything you wanted, would you even take it? sometimes at night i see your eyes in the corner of my room, when cars pass by and their headlights shine through my window, i swear theres a reflection of green. i bought emerald earrings for $15 dollars at an estate sale because they reminded me of you. but i keep them in my bathroom. under my skin sink where i barely ever see them.
i go to parties in a silk black dress that hugs my waist like it grew from my skin and people stare but they dont ask because what is there to say? "i loved him and he's gone. he's elsewhere. he's never more than fifteen feet away but that might as well be the circumference of the world. you could fit all the evidence our time together in fifteen feet and still have room for both our bodies"
every memory we have together could be pulled out of my ears in a film reel, and then i would cut out each scene that takes place in different rooms of my apartment and stick them up like polaroids so everywhere i look you're there.
you are stuck to my fridge with a canary squad magnet doing my dishes because it hurts too much for me to stand. you are in my taped to my bathroom mirror holding my hand while i throw up into my toilet, having told you i was hungover (but i wasn't. it's just easier to explain than "i don't know what's wrong with me but it's stuck in my chest and rotting my body"). you are in my bedroom, stuck to every wall, under all my pillows, piled in boxes under my bed.
you are brushing my hair, stroking my chest, laughing in my face, stealing my blankets, putting your hand under my shorts, watching my TV, calling me baby, calling me bro, calling me by my last names like you can't fit your mouth around my first.
i used to show my friends photos of you sweaty and red faced, staring at nothing, and they'd go "oh..." because they didn't see it like i did. you look hot in your fancy suit with your hair brushed, or walking around half-well dressed, just in case, but you look your best with that fire in your eyes, like you met the sun and it kissed your hand before it shot you back to earth and now that's all you think about. you look your best when you look like you see the same thing every time your eyes are closed, feel that pull in your chest like god has left a gift for you at the end of the world, if only you can get there.
what you'll never know is that i see the same thing when my eyes are closed too.
can you guess what?
but you never took me seriously. it wasn't because i wasn't model-pretty, or because i wasn't used to the high life----it was because i wasn't hungry like you. like your friends. like the models or the businessmen or all those people you swore you didn't prefer. i don't know how to want what i don't want, though. i was born passionless. i was born under the full moon and immediately knew my life was just about getting by.
it's not like i couldn't have done something, or anything i wanted, if i really tried, it's that i didn't think there was still time. the first time you started the rest of your life was the same time i was zoning out during math lessons, waiting until we moved on to english so i could catch a break.
and that was the rest of my life, too. waiting to catch a break.
when you left me you said, in your 'clinical operation' voice, in your 'eggshell' voice, in your 'omlet' voice, that "our interests just aren't aligned." what the fuck does that mean, i'd asked. what i wanted to say was that you're never going to find someone who cares as much as you, and i'm not sure you'll be able to find anyone willing to cheer you on as much as i had again.
maybe if i had told you to shut up we would still be intertwined, on my bed, on my couch, in my bathroom. but i would be lying if i said i didn't love your passion, even if it burns up everyone around you.
what i know now, from the magic of hindsight, from the magic of simple observation, is that there are people who care as much, a rare few who care more, and you're surrounded by them. i should have know i’d never be able to crack in. to carve out my own spot.
when i was a teenage girl in rural america, feeling my skin sizzle underneath the heat of the sun, smelling barbecue right up my nose from miles away, i used to dream of europe. of low temperatures and old buildings and boys that had to be prettier than here, surely.
ten years ago i had an accent. can you believe it? i hit my vowels like drum beats and dragged my r's down the block.
i hadn't known that heartbreak is the same across the ocean as it is up and down america. to be honest, it never even crossed my mind.
in the years passed since then my voice has flattened. occasionally i catch a hint of something else----something british, something french, something german----and it scares me.
once, when i was 18, six months before i'd be gone for the old world, a girl who was on a cloud above us told me that i had the most beautiful eyes and that she was scared her parents were right and if she didn't clean up her act now she'd amount to nothing.
when i asked her where she was from she said "nowhere, same as everyone else here."
when i asked who her parents were she said "the faces of god."
when i told her she should call them she said "i'll do it when im older." and then fell asleep on the floor.
if any of this sounds familiar it's because i've done the same thing a hundred times since we started talking and only once since you left.
i wish i could say we were exes. i wish i felt as old as i am. i wish i could call my parents, and tell them im sorry. late at night, when i see glimpses of green in the corners of my eyes, and i can smell your shampoo on the wind, i wish i could call you and tell you to come back. you never look at me how you used to, across the dance floor, down the table, meeting my eyes.
do you hate me or are you indifferent? which is worse? months pass where your name bleeds from my lips, the aftermath of the cyanide pill i take when it gets too much.
some people never lay in the road. crazy, right? we are not those people.
some people aren’t allowed to drive for their entire lives. thats not you either. i’m starting to think it might be me.
in the collection of memories in my head, within the tangled pile, theres a film strip where i’m in the passenger seat of your car while you’re driving with one hand on the wheel and one hand on my thigh. and i ask “is it weird to drive at normal speeds? in normal areas” because i want to know. but you look at me like i've said the wrong thing, like i've fed you something sour.
“yeah.” you say, and then a beat later, you scoff. you put your other hand on the wheel and i want to ask what i said but we don't do that so i look out the window instead. then the film sputters to a stop. and the memory’s over. and i'm alone in my apartment, just like i have been for a while.
the distance between my bedroom and the outside world is a measly four-point-six meters. for some reason, everyone seems to look at me but you.
i think the bottom line here is that i still see you everywhere. is that i avoid your eyes now. is that i miss my hometown like a limb and i could never expect you to understand because you've never missed anything in your whole life except what you haven't had. is that you took your hand off my thigh to put it on the wheel.
i think the bottom line is that i'm still in love with you and you’re still ambition personified. you’ll never stop moving away from me.

oc rambles: [dex/jo], [jo & baz]
the 1st is a very casual thing i rattled off in response to a writing club prompt for star wars day 2 weeks ago. dex & jo proving yet again why rick ross - hustlin' should be their theme song
the 2nd is the beginning of a short story that i need to rebuild from the ground up, but i like this scene by itself sm that i wanna preserve it. this one is jo & baz' initial bonding moment in a convenience store
-> dex & jo are are the same characters (black girl n redhead guy) from my finished flash piece 'blank'!
-> baz is my delightful faith evans-lookalike oc who gets a girl crush (and eventually a Crush crush) on jo lmao
-
STAR WARS [dex/jo, 150 wds]
You fumbled the bag, Dex says.
How so? Jo’s incredulous, sounding that way she always does when she’s convinced she can do no wrong. Which is most days. Dex is used to it.
You missed the window.
Fuck you, i missed the window. Isn’t today that nerd thing? May 4th. I put stuff on sale just for it.
You don’t put things for a special on the day of – well, you can if it’s a flash sale, but you don’t do a unannounced flash sale on a major holiday–
/Why/, Dex, get to the point–
He rolls his eyes, keeps counting the money. You advertise sales AHEAD of time JoJo, I didn’t think I needed to tell you some 101 on how to fleece nerds.
It’s not Comic Con, hubby, you really think a extra couple hours –
--If I didn’t think it makes a difference I wouldn’t have brought it up!
Boy, I am thiiis close to taking a damn. Aggrieved spouse tax out on that shit. Interest out the wazoo. Won’t have any coins left to get a STAMP of a lightsaber.
2. FAWN [jo & baz, 600 wds]
Baz met Jo in a mirror.
It was the chrome dome in the low ceiling by the liquor aisle. Baz was out of high school graduation before her cap hit the ground. She’d peeled out of the parking lot in her junker car with the broken A/C and had completely sweat out her baby hairs by the time she got to the corner store. As she fixed them – craning her neck and squinting at her reflection while she gelled synthetic blonde edges back into submission – a tall girl came up beside her and started primping too.
The girl broke the ice before Baz could even get the bad anxiety hot flashes. 613 gang, she said, nodding at Baz’ bent glass image and fussing with her own jet black high pony. She did it one handed; the other hand cradled a liter of Grey at her bony hip. She noticed Baz noticing. Got the Goose by the neck, she said. The Black lovechild of JLo and Jolie. Smolder eyes, pillow lips. Swan neck. Fat ass. Rocking Matrix chic just like Baz.
The good anxiety hot flashes came on and Baz was saying way too much about finally leaning into years of Faith Evans comparisons with the 613 platinum wig. The girl listened like Baz was a Normal Person and then talked about another famous blonde, one Ms. Barbara Eden, whom she was always trying to channel with hair style if not color. Then she explained that that was just her go-to bullshit response to years of I Dream of Jeannie jokes. If it’s one thing about Jo James, she said, it’s that she will not be leaving the house with her hair down, okay?
I dream of Joey with the jet black hair, Baz thought.
I’m Baz, she said aloud.
What’s that mean?
I don’t know if it means anything by itself. Baz slicked down the last of the errant edges. She put her brush and gel back in her purse without looking away from Jo in the mirror. But it’s short for Basilica. People say it’s pretty and I swear they’re lying.
Jo kept looking right back. Baz is pretty too.
Jo finished her hair (which hadn’t looked undone to begin with, in Baz’ eyes) and pulled Baz down about six more conversational rabbit holes that culminated in the two of them exchanging socials. They both had to look away from the mirror to find and follow the right accounts.
Then they faced each other.
Jo was a dark sun and Baz was the overfed flower trying to take in the weird, lovely rays. They stood in silence. Jo suddenly seemed to register Baz’ blue grad gown unzipped over her outfit.
Hey, she said. Congrats.
She slipped out the store the back way.
Baz let herself be dazed for a few moments before she finally went about picking up her graduation presents to herself. Precious snack cakes and Slim Jims cradled in one arm like Jo with her vodka. Used the other hand to point out the Swisher Sweets she wanted behind the clerk’s counter. Carded and checked out by one clerk while the other worked on a midshift count.
By the time Baz left (out the front way, like a Normal Person), the clerks were bickering about the count.
Baz was on the road before she realized the till was short the exact amount of a liter of Grey Goose plus tax.
