Etho: Let's get you out of the water for now
Etho: -and onto that convenient unnatural-looking rock.
Etho: You have any blocks on you?
Joe: A crafting table and one leftover plank!
Etho: It'll do.
Joe: Thanks a ton!
Joe: Sooo
Joe: What were you swimming over there for, eh, Etho?
Joe: Let me guess, was it

Doubts
Living in the streets is hard especially when you have a hungry mouth to feed besides your own.
Bin is not stupid. if it weren't for him his dad would be able to have more food and wouldn't feel the need to protect him from the cold, his dad needs those more than him but he is nice like that, his dad is the best!
But sometimes he can't help but wonder...

I know you did chapter one of paradise and it is amazing, absolutely adorable
But i was curious
Is there going to be more?
No pressure or rush but I was wondering because the Ao3 description leaves room for more, but chapter count is 1/1
HELLO i'm still alive i promise omg
and no worries!!! Purgatory Paradise is actually a series rather than a single fic, since i have have a collection of one-shots rattling in my brain that will most likely be written in random order. But right now it only has two-- "Paradise" and "Ice Cream Pizza Rolls Cookie Dough Potato Chips Candy Bars… and Mandarin Oranges"
i really hope to bust out a few more in the future! though right now i'm taking it a bit easy after finishing TNV-- but don't worry, I still have a lot of fluff i want to write for Leo 🩵

Give me more old man Dream, he is the one who doesn't knows shit, he has been trapped in stone by decades so ofc he is totally unaware of al lot of modern things. In fact, he haves some old habits with him that is trying to left behind (luckily, Dream is always open to learn and change so that's not a problem!). Let my boy be naive and get excited by normal things like "I am using a telephone for first time!" "I ordered a pizza over the phone for the first time, oh!" And be PROUD of living like a normal person. People like Cross, Neil, Core! Or Swap are defo encouraging him to try all the time and make him understand that he is not being selfish by trying to move forward at once.
And don't get me wrong! Nightmare is an old man as well, and i love it too, i love the idea his eyes are fucked somehow so he needs glasses for read mostly. And why not, he would look cool with glasses. Yet, there is a lot of things that he probably doesn't knows, and book doesn't haves all the answers neither, so he too is forced to experiment on his own because despite five hundred years of existence, Nightmare has been too busy with his own grudge, and the things that motivated his sense of adventure and curiosity became trivial.
Although his sense of adventure persists if it involves finding new souls, new toys, new pets.

Bitty update number... 5? 6? Anyway!!
Sorry it's been so long since I updated you guys, work has been really busy and I guess these two have gotten better about staying out of sight. Or out of my sight at least, maybe I should ask my coworkers if they've seen anything? Although, I dunno if they'd be happy with these little guys running loose around here so maybe it's best if I don't...
Anyway, the only one I've been seeing kind of reliably is the horror bitty, who comes and sits across from me when I have my lunch to eat the food I left out. I still try not to say anything cause I don't want to frighten him.
Usually he's the only one I see, but then one day I spotted the little cross bitty peeking around a corner at me! I felt bad cause I was almost finished my lunch so I didn't have much to offer him, but I held out some of my chocolate bar for him anyway in case he was hungry. Well!! Apparently he was!
He came right up to me this time! Granted, he took a bite of the end of it and immediately ran off again, but that's a start right? He's definitely a lot more skittish than the horror one, but I did manage to feed him a couple more times and he seems to stay a little longer before he runs off.
I don't know if he has a particular thing for chocolate or if he's just excited about food because the horror one doesn't share lol
Speaking of the horror one!!
It took me a while to notice but, I guess he's been getting closer to me when we eat? He used to sit across the hall but now he's pretty much right next to me!
Maybe that's why the cross one feels more comfortable? I still don't want to do anything to spook him but he seems pretty chill, maybe if I'm lucky I can have 2 lunch buddies lol

"The World Beyond The Storm"
----------
If there was one thing clear about Perseverance from the moment you meet her, it's that she very much lives up to her name. Not wanting to be left behind anymore by Hazel whenever she left Solution Nine, Percy begged and begged for Hazel to take her outside the dome with her. And after a long time thinking it over, along with a short and blunt "Why not?" from Zero, the Auri woman finally agreed.
First leaving to get Percy a new set of clothes so she wouldn't stand out, Hazel and Zero began the trek on foot from Solution Nine to the one exit from the dome, Vanguard. Thankfully none of the surrounding wildlife or malfunctioning machines tried to attack the three, making it a pleasant trip apart from the quick scares Percy had over the flashes of lightning. But if you tried to ask her, she'd claim she wasn't scared! Not one bit!
The tunnel leading from Vanguard to the outside was much longer than Perseverance expected it to be. Even still, she refused Hazel's offer to carry her the last stretch, wanting to see the world outside of where she knew on her own two feet.
And she did, exiting the railroad tunnel to a light so bright, she had to shield her eyes at first. As she adjusted, Percy asked out loud "What is that?" She tried to look right at the ball of light but found it hurting her eyes, forcing her to look away.
Hazel walked up behind the young girl, a gentle smile on her face. "The sun, biggest source of light and warmth on the star."
"Around the star, technically." Zero interjected, coming to a stop next to Perseverance. Hazel simply rolled her eyes at the Voidsent's correction, still smiling.
Zero placed her hands on her hips, a faint smile escaping her lips as well. "Quite the sight to behold, is it not? I felt much the same way my first time seeing it."
Percy tried her best not to stare directly at the shining ball in the sky, but at the same time the glimpses she did catch were...she couldn't quite explain. Soon she found herself smiling as well.
"It's so pretty..."
