1: middle school me as my fursona. i realized that i could draw myself with baby tapir spots and i was like 'well holy shit i have to do it now'. also featuring jeff the killer as an opossum

2: my ocs sam and julian based on this post. hopefully this will be the year of me drawing my ocs more LOL i obviously like drawing hivemind but i want to actually Do Something with my ocs this year at some point

3. saw a post that said january 16th is "appreciate a dragon day" so i doodled this of my dragonsona at mach speed before i went to bed

4: i drew this as part of a tutorial thing to help a friend out with drawing from reference without going crazy. however i do not feel like posting the whole tutorial. just enjoy long(er) hair hatless riley

5: riley's fursona except i drew the pic from 2018 where he has the exact same hair as sunset shimmer from mlp

6: i loved dignan's matching hat and sweater in the recent best tweets video so of course i drew him as a furry in it

I randomly remembered that 10 years ago I came across someone's livejournal where he was posting his worldbuilding for a MLP TTRPG campaign, and one thing that I remember is that he concluded that ponies would use base 12 system because they have 4 hooves and 12 is easy to divide by 2, 3, 4, 6, and 12, and also has connections to astronomy (I think that the Moon was usual).

I don't remember any other specifics but like, he was also calculating the speed at which ponies should mature, and also used some 3D models to estimate anatomy, so he was serious.

(Also for whatever reason this version of MLP was part of Chronicles of Amber multiverse)

Unfortuantely(?) bronies are REALLY good at worldbuilding. My favorite is the computer "keyboard" they designed for hoofs, basically since you can't type with hooves, it was a couple of "joysticks" you moved along to type words.

To be honest, it's very fun to imagine how non-human creatures would utilize everyday objects. In the case of ponies however it does get into an almost terrifying detail though as you can imagine (confession: I was literally in 4chan when the whole brony thing began but I got out of the train at time, I saw the first three or four threads about it)

Infection AUs are really popular right now, huh?

What if I just… made one for the mother series? ¬‿¬

Gaidoku (Infection) AU

Gaidoku (Japanese for harm, virus, evil, mischief) is an infection that is spread through the mushrooms on Tane Tane Island.

(Inspired from MLP Infection AUs and The Last of Us)

Based on the Tane Tane Island sequence from Mother 3, the Gaidoku virus is a fungal infection spread through consumption of eating Tane Tane mushrooms or from the bite of an infected individual.

The Tane Tane mushrooms, previously harmless aside from causing terrifying hallucinations, have now evolved to cause fatal and irreversible effects to the consumer, hallucinations progress into zombie-like symptoms.

(May add some Pigmask influence here, not sure yet)

Stage 1: (Light consumption) Hallucinations, nausea, body aches but can be treated if caught early to prevent further deterioration

Stage 1: (Average/Heavy consumption) Halluctions, nausea, flu-like symptoms

Victim cannot be saved from this level of consumption, they are a lost cause.

Stages can either progress or the victim can be put out of their misery.

Stage 2: Hallucinations are now permanent, constant nausea and frequent vomiting, flu symptoms progress

Victim’s body will become weak and pale, spores start to appear on the skin, bites are now infectious

Stage 3: Zombie-like state has taken over, vomiting blood, milky eyes, pale and blue skin

Victim will begin to lose cognitive thought, loss of speech and mobility, they are still somewhat aware of their surroundings.

Mushrooms begin to sprout from their body mostly around the mouth, hands and legs.

Mushrooms will sprout internally in the stomach and lungs.

Victim will become more hostile.

Stage 4: No longer considered human at this point, the fungus has now taken over the host, pale and frail body

Victim’s mind is no longer, the fungas has now taken over the host and has reduced them to a zombie.

Mushrooms are continuing to grow and more are sprouting around the rest of the body including the head, ears and eyes.

Victim will begin to experience loss of sight and hearing and will have to rely on vibration.

Victim is completely hostile and extremely violent, they will attack anything and anyone, their bites, scratches and vomit can spread the infection.

Stage 5: Victim’s can form into three separate types of “walker”

(Place holder names for the time being)

- Crawlers have lost mobility, they are the easiest to deal with due to their slow speed however they vomit more frequently meaning they leave trails of potential infection behind them meaning if uninfected aren’t alert, they can easily become infected if not paying attention

- Walkers/Runners are like standard zombies, they have not lost all mobility but due to their inability to see or hear, they can be avoided when careful

- “Clickers” are like the clickers from the TLOU, they use sound to find their way meaning they can easily find uninfected, they are fast and much more cognitively aware than the previous types, they are equally much more difficult to get rid of and are immune to various types of PSI

Effective ways to get rid of infected areas by using fire but only on specific infected, spore banks can and will survive high levels of heat, freeze can help but should only be used on spore banks but this is only a temporary solution.

Thunder and lightning should never be used and can cause catastrophic consequences.

Paralysis can be used but is again, only a temporary solution.

Brainshock should never be used as it can insight further violence in the infected.

Life up and healing has no effect and if anything, only strengthens the infected.

Beam, Rockin and Love can be used but it is unknown what the effects are on the infected but it does appear to be effective in killing the infected and prevent further infection.

Ground also should never be used as it can contribute to explosion and further spreading infection and even growing more spores.

This is also the case tor Starstorm but it must be used perfectly, if the target(s) or spore banks aren’t hit exactly, further infection can spread and even cause further mutation.

People who have previously consumed Tane Tane mushrooms before the evolution are immune from infection until Stage 3, before this they must be treated to prevent further progression into the infection and it has to be immediately.

Treatment is either spending hours in a hotspring or removing the affected limb(s), infection zones on the head or face are a lost cause if the hot spring doesn’t treat it

Hot springs can aid in preventing infection from spreading but this isn’t always a guarantee, a lot of victims will need to spend the rest of their lives in a hot spring (iron lung) if the heat doesn’t kill them first.

Other victims can experience heat stroke, burns and even death.

Infected PSI users that have been cured will lose the ability to use their PSI as the fungas has caused too much damage to the brain.

further damage to cured victims (PSI and non-PSI) will be brain damaged which will effect their cognitive thinking, reaction time, mobility issues and general health.

A lot of cured victims can die from dehydration and malnutrition due to a lack of appetite and potential hydrophobia from trauma of hot spring treatment.

Fevers are also a common symptom of infection so its a waiting game to find out if a PSI user is infected or if they are learning a new ability.

Sometimes, it isn’t worth the risk of finding out.

MS Paint Fan Adventures I'm thinking about and working on

I need to learn how to make an MSPFA account correctly, since any easy way doesn't work. But here goes the list!

Pre-Homestuck Inspired/Custom

My Little Pony is a retelling of the entire G4 MLP series in the style of an MS Paint Adventure, and not the Homestuck kind. I haven't watched the show since the start of this year and I gotta analyze every single scene from "Friendship Is Magic Part 1" to "The Last Problem" in order to get the story just like the show plot. It's currently in progress, but I didn't speed it up nor have I resumed it that much.

Camplife centers around 4 men in a camping site, eventually making way to a whole little town in a forest area. I've already done a few pages of it and have planned future events out of the comic, which I'll get to. It's planned to be half user controlled and half author controlled.

Homestuck Inspired

TGWTGQuest is about every member of the Channel Awesome community (Excluding the controversial ones, but even then they have to be mocked) and a bunch of bullshit adventures they partake in, mostly centered around the Nostalgia Critic. This might be more of a well-made shitpost than a real adventure because Channel Awesome's content really sucks. But hey, I began writing the planned pages for it! (I guess I have no clue how to make an MS Paint Adventure right, skull skull)

Caraku Levhat is about a young oliveblooded detective who resolves a bunch of federal issues and vast errors near and around the city he's in. The titular protagonist will probably have that Darkwing Duck personality if I can actually write that down.

The narration will be entirely built as a 1st person perspective from our main character, meaning everything that's told will be coming out of his own, hard-boiled words.

I can't read Homestuck so I'll just get some research outta the MSPA Wiki to help me be accurate a bit.

Jokes

Imagine a really bad gaming comic in the form of an MS Paint Adventure, minus the MS Paint and plus the Photoshop. Buckleyquest is basically most of the Ctrl+Alt+Del's comics (I have a terrible sense of humor so I can't tell if they're funny or not) that can be controlled through user input or author's choice. It has the same artstyle as the comic, albeit the first few panels, and sometimes, I have the potential to mock Ctrl+Alt+Del and its author in the fan adventure. It's gonna be the stupidest one I've made.

Dooj, simply put, is Homestuck, except a simple command will either change the storyline, change a character, add a character, or fuck everything up completely. And what's the command? DOOJ. Other commands made up as a weird word will also be included, such as MOOK, intended to revert the comic to its original story, and FOOP, which pauses the story automatically, shifting to the MSPA Reader's perspective.

Dooj may also include mockery against Homestuck, mockery against Andrew Hussie and his friends, sometimes shit I hate to write out, and cameos of characters and scenes from other webcomics.

I'm also making a similar project called KATEDREW MITCHUSSIE'S MAGNUM OPUS, which will mock Homestuck: Beyond Canon and will have a similar premise to DOOJ.

I was also planning to make a Jerkcity adventure but that would probably be controversial.

Bauble Beast

[I love the bauble beast. It’s weird and icky in the way that, say, a monster of the week on a cartoon would be. I could see one of these appearing in, say, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Assuming MLP was willing to dabble in a little light body horror]

Bauble Beast CR 6 N Magical Beast This creature has a centaur-like build, with four legs and two arms. Its appearance is vaguely feline, with skin like smooth stone. Small patches of metal and gemstones grow from its body in irregular intervals.

Bauble beasts are strange and greedy creatures of earth and stone. They possess warts that look like gemstones, and eczema-like patches that resemble precious metals. By grooming itself, picking off and eating these growths, and then regurgitating them, they can craft magical jewelry, which they then finish up by hand. These items are left in places where they are sure to be found. Anyone who wears such a forgery becomes magically compelled to gather up their most valuable items and leave them wherever the forged jewelry was made. Most bauble beasts hide and just scoop up the plunder, but those of an evil disposition kill their dupes to cover their trails. A bauble beast’s forgeries can be detected by a trained eye, or a trained nose. The finished pieces have a slightly sickly sweet odor, reminiscent of vomit.

Bauble beasts dislike combat—they usually end up in fights only in order to defend their homes and hoards, or if one of their compelled victims comes with friends to protect them. They have sharp teeth and claws, and can spit acid. They typically leave their hands free in combat, because creatures that take acid damage from them find themselves giving up their held items, similar to their jewelry deception. If it gets an especially fancy looking weapon or shield, a bauble beast will usually try to run away with it. Bauble beasts are ultimately cowards and opportunists, and would rather surrender and bribe their way to safety rather than fight to the death.

Although bauble beasts usually work alone, they may socialize with jewelers and merchants, or other creatures that work with precious gems. Xorns find their gems delicious but not filling—the equivalent of junk food. When multiple bauble beasts come together, it is usually to trade tips and show off their wealth. The growths on a bauble beast come from minor skin diseases, and different beasts have different colors or lusters of gems or metals. Giving another bauble beast your infection in order to expand their repertoire is seen as an honor in bauble beast culture.

Finally came up with a design for Ray Porter!! Main character of Hatch, they’re a talented and inquisitive reporter who sometimes get too ambitious for the sake of a story, which landed them in the town of Hatch in the first place.

Looking at how Sonic Prime has everyone (except Sonic and main Knuckles with Devon Mack and Adam Nurada) voiced by MLP Friendship is Magic veterans so far, ever get the feeling that if Cream the Rabbit ever shows up in the show or at least a show by the same team as Prime, she'd likely be voiced by Andrea Libman (Fluttershy/Pinkie Pie). Andrea sure would fit her like a glove.

I would honestly love for that to happen. Fluttershy was my favorite of the G4 ponies and Andrea Libman would really be able to do Cream justice.

Though, I have to admit, I don't have high hopes for Cream appearing in anything these days. What was even the last game she was in? Generations? She wasn't even in Team Sonic Racing, a cart racer. Yeah the characters/cars were grouped into Speed, Technique, and Power instead of Speed, Flight, and Power like in Heroes, but honestly, whatever. I'd've had an easier time accepting Cream as a technique racer than I had accepting Zavok... being in the game at all. But no, instead Cream's spot on Team Rose was taken by 4 random chao, one of whom being a robot who's currently a wanted criminal.

I guess to be fair to Sonic Team, TSR already had a billion characters to juggle and it looked hard enough to justify the appearance of a large chunk of them, so even if Cream was there, her role wouldn't have been any greater than the 4 chao in a trench coat anyway. And to be fair to Omochao, they served as a hint guide for plenty of games and also managed to become a medical professional before eventually going on the run for committing medical malpractice.
