Yeenoghu, Gnoll Lord, The Ruler of Ruin! A 14 ft (4.3 m) demonic gnoll, what you see is what you get. A giant bloodthirsty hyena-like titan who simply wishes to bring destruction! Well, he does have a few tricks. He's telepathic, and can magically turn invisible or cause fear a few times per day. He's also incredibly intelligent. But I stick by what I said, as he usually actively chooses to ignore trickery and intellect, valuing the primal, beastial, and uncivilized. But if you're in for a very rough and wild time, this might be for you!

Rascal News is well worth your money:
Well it's been a month. I waited and watched and thought ah you know if the lowest sub was less than $5 then maybe just maybe. But I did want to support because Rascal is setting a course for the direction TTRPGs as an arts industry can be steered in, whether I personally am on board or not (though my funds would certainly help).
Like I said, it's been a month, and they've now implemented pay-per-article if there's something you want to see or you can't justify $5 – which is a pretty smart move considering "paywall tho" is the thought terminating refrain in the twitter replies and one of Rascal's stated intents is to do more Real Important Journalism in an industry rife with corporate exploitation and abuses of power, which is the sort of news that needs both funding and low access to entry.
It's also worth saying that their articles are a good read.
"While there are still some crunchier elements to the final product (exemplifying what AP scholar Dr. Emily Friedman refers to as the medium’s “ambitious middle”), the subtle production details and the highly intentional performances in GUDIYA are a beacon of what is artistically possible for video-born actual plays."
"GUDIYA (the Hindi word for doll) overwhelmingly plays into the horror of not only its source material, but the horror of being both a woman and South Asian in the highly gendered and xenophobic world of the English Empire."
I've now signed up at $50 for the year, or £3.29 each month which is Really Quite Good, so for your consideration I wanted to share the article that made me commit (above) plus a couple of choice picks for tumblr:

Dragon’s Nest
Nestled high upon a mountaintop is the legendary nest of a dragon. Its eggs are immensely valuable and highly desired. However, something goes wrong! Something attempts to open the nest and roll the eggs off the cliff. What would happen when the angry dragon returns to find her eggs destroyed?
Welcome to another phased battlemap! This map depicts eggs being rolled out of a nest and falling off a cliff, one by one. This encounter presents a variety of options for the GM and players.
- What causes the nest to open and eggs to roll out?
- Do the players try to stop the destruction of the eggs?
- What happens when the dragon comes back?
You can download all 8 phases of this map for free here.

Is frogs were wizards, what kind of magic would they have?
Look, I think the Basic™ answer is that frogs belong to the Transmutation school of magic because, hello, metamorphosis, but galaxy brain herpetologists know that more than a quarter of all frog species don't have tadpoles.
Toxicologists could tell you of the venomous species that can deliver a real Shocking Grasp that leaves you with Burning Hands—mainstays of Evocation magic.
Ecologists will tell you frogs are pivotal mesopredators and those with tadpoles occupy two trophic niches over their lifespans—classic Abjuration magic.
Some field biologists will tell you how hard it is to find some frogs, even when they are calling from immediately in front of you—archetypal Illusion shit.
Other field biologists might tell you that sometimes frogs start calling a few minutes before the rain actually comes. Obvious hallmark of Divination school.
Conservation biologists will tell you that some species that were declared Extinct or likely Extinct have been rediscovered recently, so I suspect at least some are from the Necromancy school
Behavioural ecologists might tell you that some frogs have familiar pet tarantulas (Big Spider want you to think it's the tarantulas keeping the frogs as pets, but don't be taken in by their biased lies). You want to tell me that they're not Conjuration wizards?
But Frog Fans (Frans) will tell you they belong to the Enchantment school, because hearteyesmotherfucker.gif. I mean, they somehow got you following me, right?

The Shoosuva! 6 foot at the shoulder, these hyena demons have a venomous stinger full of paralyzing venom! They're gifts from the Gnoll Lord, loyal, telepathic, and glow from the inside! They are sadistic however, and eat rotten flesh, so maybe avoid that breath.
