Hey so do you know where I could find this acting manifesto of yours?

I usually try and avoid publicly expressing my opinion on things like this but I recently saw some people commenting negatively on his acting again and I’m starting to doubt my own judgement.

I’ve truly never had a huge problem with his acting but I keep seeing people using really harsh words to describe his prior and current work. I genuinely think he’s doing a good job in THK but these comments sometimes make me think I’m missing something.

That conflicts with the fact I know at least three people he worked with on THK specifically had positive things to say about his acting too and I trust people who do this for a living to know what they’re talking about for the most part.

I guess I’m just looking for your post to have a more detailed perspective of the opposite viewpoint to “he’s a terrible actor” to help affirm some of my thinking so I’m more confident in my positive opinion of his acting.

Overall though I’m enjoying everyone in this show but for me I’m specifically enjoying the four mains the most. Kudos to them honestly.

(Disclaimer: Obviously everyone is entitled to their opinion but the harshness of some of the opinions took me off guard a little.)

I'm still thinking about a post I saw where the OP was legit afraid that they were "allophobic" (Something you cannot be) and then continued to explain sex repulsion and I just.... I think about how this is very much a real conclusion a lot of sex repulsed people find themselves believing because of how much negativity there is surrounding the idea of sex repulsion in general.

I mean, sex repulsed people are shamed for being repulsed. We're told we are sex negative, that we are puritans, that we are childish, that we don't belong in sex positivity. We are constantly pushed out of spaces, told we don't belong, that our feelings aren't normal and need to be fixed. that we need to conform to allosexuals who are uncomfortable with our identity. we have to always make allo people comfortable. We can't express our repulsion because they take it as a personal attack. Our repulsion is seen as an attack of them personally, on their identity. How dare someone not like sex like they do?

with so little positivity it's no wonder so many sex repulsed people start to worry if they are "allophobic". that start to worry that they are wrong and need to fix themselves to make others around them comfortable. it's always repulsed people having to compromise. No one ever tries to compromise for us.

The other day I heard my mom and my brother talking about pansexuality and I went to join the conversation because I had no idea how it started. My sister had had that class where they explain that there are people that are no straight and what not and she was curious about what pan meant (I remember that when I had that class they said that pan was like bi, but liking trans people, so I'm glad that she asked instead of assuming that you can't like trans people if you are bisexual). I explained what it is and they were sure that that is also the definition of demisexual, which is a word that I didn't even imagine that they would have heard. I explained what demi is, but somehow that was not different for them. Then they starting to rant about how there are too many labels nowadays (while I insisted that maybe those labels are very important to other people. They somehow said that they didn't care while ranting about it, and that you have to respect people's identities but that those are ridiculous).

Anyway, my sister asked the same question later but it was not the best moment. A couple of days later she asked me and I explained again after telling her to not ask those things to them because they know nothing and she was like: "So, then you are pan? Because you don't care about gender" and, like, no, I'm aroace, but good reasoning I guess.

Look, I don't know if she asks because that identity feels right to her or if she was just curious and wanted to learn, but she is probably the most respectful towards queerness in the house and I don't want the rest of my family to ruin that.

[please note my breakdown IS android specific bc that's what i have, however i know that the settings should be SIMILAR for an iphone. i just couldn't tell you the exacts]

GO TO THE "MORE" SETTING (should be visible as soon as you open your camera)

GO TO "PRO"

PLAY WITH THE ISO, THE SPEED (shutter speed) AND THE WB (temperature)

a HIGH ISO will help brighten your photo, a LOW ISO will help dim it.

a FAST shutter speed will DARKEN your photo, a SLOW shutter speed will make it LIGHT. this will also have an effect on how your photo takes!!! the slower your shutter speed, the steadier you need to hold your phone or it WILL become blurry, but it allows more ambient light and is thus recommended for taking photos of, say, stars. a fast shutter speed is how you take photos of objects in motion, but it lets almost no ambient light in (this is where you would want to up your ISO!)

the WB/temperature will shift your photo from being more warm toned to more cool toned.

finally, here is one compared to a photo I took at the same moment with just my phones normal camera:

(you can REALLY see the sun rays peering out over the clouds in the photo on the right, which is what i was trying to photograph!)

As you can see, the difference are HUGE even when they're subtle!!!

your regular phone camera SUCKS but it DOES come equipped with the right settings to take gorgeous photos. you just have up know what to look for!!!!!
