- I got into the marine ecology lab at my school that I have been pushing for entrance into, despite missing a pre-req. I get to be on a boat for eight hours next quarter! Woohoo!

- I got fanart for a fic I am very proud of but very rarely interact with anybody about, which has boosted my confidence and made me feel really good, and each comment I've gotten since they posted the art has made my heart sing extra loud!

On top of the other reasons I said I don't like things, you do actually have to convince me 6 times outta 10 if you want me to read a Homestuck fic in the third person. There is just something to the flavor of 2nd person that hits different. There is a reason different perspectives exist, and I think they can all be utilized well, but something about that classic, well-patterned "you, and then you" just gets me, you know?

The Filler (Bottoms Fanfic)

What's good y'all. A few months ago, I jokingly wrote a Bottoms (2023) fanfic and it lowk got way more engagement then I thought, so i figured, why not bring it to tumblr.

The fanfic's premise was to be a provider of "filler" scenes for the Bottoms movie. It started as a way for me to develop Isabel and Josie's relationship, but then turned into me developing PJ, Brittany, and now in more recent (unreleased) chapters, Hazel & others. Some may say there's some PJ x Brittany, some may even say there's some Brittany x Isabel...

To put a long story short, its basically a bunch of headcanons for what I think happened in the story that we, the audience, did not see. I made it as canon compliant as possible, while also trying to give us gays, THE CONTENT WE NEEEDDDDDDDDDD.

So here we are. There's 7 chapters right now, covering from the moment of the car bombing scene until the canon end of the movie. It's essentially finished, but I am writing 3 extra chapters to amp up the drama, for no other reason, then the fact that I am messy and choose chaos.

This is also my first fanfic EVER, and it has become my child in a way. So, since i'm near the end of finishing it, i'm going to use this acct to basically just add more content to the internet for this fanfic, so current & future Bottoms fans can find it across platform. With that being said,

Great evening: Doug and Kevin, John and Al.  I was glad that I could provide a bit of cave security to some lonely people tonight. Including me.

And, they stayed. They did not want to go.

I felt great having them here at times, but then, also, felt—frustrated in their being here towards the end.

Doug and Kevin are in the midst of a major crisis. And each in brief alone moments with me attempted to share their concerns. Doug believes Kevin may be having a nervous breakdown. Kevin thinks Doug is going off of the deep end. 

It's 10 pm now. They just left so that Doug can house hunt. He is angry, hurt. Kevin basically told him to shove off. Yet, Kevin in no way expressed that attitude to me tonight.

I tend to think it is Doug who flips out now—and, I hope that violence does not ensue. They both definitely have that propensity.

And, it’s nice to wish that they had not left…to want them here in am—I already bought breakfast—2 bottle of champagne. But, I, of all people, understand and feel tremendous underlying forces that can drive one away even from champagne.

John seemed to really want to be here tonight.

Al, I dunno—a shy tag along.

But, he has a kicky, fun, sense of humor.

Doug was a gay friend who I met when I was in law school in the late 1970’s. Kevin was his “husband The met somewhere in the early to mid 1980’s.

John was a fellow attorney in Modesto and Al was his lover.

Charlie was a mutual friend of Doug, Kevin and myself. I met Charlie when I lived in Sacramento in 1986-1987.

Doug, Kevin, Al and John had all come together at my house in Modesto in the above entry.

Charlie died of Aids in about 1987 0r 88. John and Al died of Aids in 1995.

I lost track of Doug and Kevin about 25 years ago.

But, they all live on in my soul and in my heart.

okay so theory time. i think lou is really making it clear that episode 6 is the end of Tommy at the very least as Buck's love interest like the way he's speaking there's finality with that part of the story. Could Tommy come back in a different capacity as a friend for Buck maybe someone buck can confide in about the Eddie of it all sure absolutely. He's basically teasing it when he says I'm not gonna say why I know this is the end, because that would spoil the reason why Buck and Tommy break up and I think the reason why they break up connects to another Lou quote particularly when said if the fandom love Tommy now they'll love him even more by the end of episode 6. So by that I'm theorizing that the reason Buck and Tommy break up is because Tommy is going to realize that Buck and Eddie are in love with each other and he may pull the Buddie trigger to start moving them towards one another. Maybe he'll tell Buck that it was never his attention he was ultimately trying to get that it's always been about one person and he won't say the same but we know who he's talking about and he's like. You have feelings for someone else and you should figure what those feelings are.

Like I think this all connects to the finality Lou is speaking with when it comes to the end of Tommy at the end of episode 6. I think Tommy is the one that's gonna start the true push to Buddie going canon in some way. Very similar to Sam in New Girl when he basically told Jess in a mutual break up that it's always been about Nick it always will be.

The way Lou has spoken all about Buddie as well even when it wasn't asked by the interviewer is also loud, he's saying how he's rooting for them, he loves them together, how he thinks Tommy has clocked something more, how he always calls it a relationship. Like I think he knows this is all leading to Buddie romance imo.

He's just been very very loud with these two interviews.

We could be looking at a one two punch of Tommy leaving in 6 and Marisol leaving in 7, then we get the freaking combo of the guy that wrote episode 4 and JCC the infamous buddie writer for episode 8....like OH BOY.

Lou...as much as I love him, I don't think he really has any idea where they're planning to take his story. I think how long he stays would depend on 1.) fan reaction and 2.) does Tommy stick around push the story forward anymore? I personally think he could, so I'm not taking the speculation around episode 6 being his last as law.

I know it's super exciting right now because bisexual buck felt literally IMPOSSIBLE and then we got it, and then Eddie repression arc seemed impossible, but it looks like they're starting it, so we're all dreaming big, but as much as I am 100% percent certain Buddie is happening, I can't realistically expect it to happen in the next two or three episodes.

If it does, I'll eat my words, but for now, I'm keeping my episode-by-episode expectations realistic.

She couldn’t imagine what she’d done to warrant being called straight to the throne room, but she didn’t want to keep the Emperor waiting. It never ended well for the Golden Guard when he made Belos wait.

I wasn’t really a fan of school but I did enjoy my film and acting classes. Had one cool creative writing class senior year. I use this knowledge to nod knowingly to video essays. I also enjoyed my media studies classes and my professor was a porn historian who’s main focus was home video evolution and even more narrowly Betamax. Basically most inventions truly are made for porn and that sets the tone. lmaoo

Me and Evan discussed retiring to be a park ranger and honestly that’s it. Would love to camp all day and just sit in a booth or lead nature walks. Be prepared, tho, this post is long 😅

Question 1: Parents lore

Chaotic, energetic, sometimes stubborn and fierce, and at the same time the kindest woman, the enchanting and beautiful Emilia Braflovski. Red-haired beauty, it is from her Julian inherited beautiful facial features, faint freckles and the color of the right eye (emerald green). Does not fit the principle of "lady", she is used to play with boys than with girls. Very gentle with her son and husband. If she finds out that someone has offended Julian, she will go into a rage like a mama bear (rip fools). She's been into fencing since childhood (I think Julian inherited his adventurer's skills from her, too), and still moonlights as a private fencing coach. A housewife, she enjoys molding pottery and small sculptures. In a fight with her parents, she considers her parents-in-law (Julian's Grandpa and Grandma) as her real parent.

Abraham Braflovski. The same handsome, blue-eyed and blond-haired man (yep, wheat hair, left blue eye and 6'2" tall, inherited from his dad), son of a famous farmer in the Valley, who decided not to reeducate the rebellious maiden, but to accept her and love her as she was. Emilia responded to him with mutual love. Wise, faithful, loyal. Not as emotional as his wife, sometimes it may seem that he is cold and aloof. In fact, he is very gentle and friendly, loves his family very much. When enraged he remains calm, but with a single glance he can make his interlocutor scared to death. Determined, a workaholic (Julian inherited this from him too). He works as a technical and artistic translator of several languages. He did not want to be a farmer, he wanted a life in a small modern town, and Abraham was happy when his father was not disappointed in his choice of profession, letting his beloved son be the master of his own happiness. Abraham loved his father and mother very much. The relationship with his wife's parents is rather... strained. He has a passion for geology and history.

They are both very proud that Julian has been able to achieve such success on his own, and are incredibly happy that their beloved son has found his home right here, in the same place where they themselves used to spend their childhood.

About the magic here is pretty.... mixed emotions. They know that magic exists in the world (and it's like a secret). They both know that Julian's grandparents have close ties to both magic, and to the Stardew Valley and Ridgeside Village itself. Grandparents told their children about these topics only the basics, no details. They all assumed that Julian didn't have magic... except for Grandpa. Grandpa knew about the so-called "Guardians", about Julian's magic. Abraham also has magic, it's just "not awaked". But he didn't dare reveal the secret, even before he passed away. Why? Who knows... Also about when Julian became adventurer: they are proud of him, but worried about their son as well.

Question 2: First impression

Lance made a high impression on him, and Julian immediately wanted to get to know him better. It's the same with Isaac, but Julian knows he has to open up to him, not force him to be a friend. "He's just like me for real!" - that's the first thing Julian thought of when he saw a tired Jadu. About Camilla, it's pretty complicated: Julian also wants to be her friend, and at the same time he has a "fight or flight" thought activated for some reason.

Question 3: Enemies

The only people he didn't like before were past "friends" at his old job who used him (but Julian has learned to forgive old grudges), well at first he slightly disliked Morris. But he knows that nothing in this world is black or white - it's the same with people. And still he strives to achieve good qualities from himself and others. A bit of a naive idealist, what can you take from him.

Question 4: Amethyne family

He knows that the phrase "the rich cry too" fits the description of their family perfectly. In Louie and Ariah, he didn't see spoiled brats, just children who had the burden of their family's name dumped on them. He sees the sadness in Maive's eyes, and at times disagrees with her parenting methods, but respects her for striving for perfectionism and wanting the good of her family and everyone in Ridgeside Village.

He is not skeptical about Amethyne. They are all people with their own problems, whether you are rich or poor.

This has been itching at me but how do you think Murderdock would display affection in any capacity?

Oh, anon. Are you ready to join me on a voyage of soul searching and navel gazing? Because that's where you have sent me with this seemingly simple question.

For starters, we are venturing into the territory of personal headcanons and subjective judgements, simply because we don't see this character in a purely romantic or even sentimental exchange. But I assume that's why you asked this question in the first place. I have spent a lot of time (too much, probably) dissecting the few heavily loaded lines of dialogue and context clues, as well as using what we know of Matt's relationships in the garden variety universes.

But I think the main answer to this question lies in examining the significant relationships he does have with other people.

First off, Cindy Moon:

Now you may be saying to yourself, "This looks like a romantic relationship to me, case closed!" but A. I don't think that it is and 2. You asked how Murderdock would show affection, and I don't think that's what we're witnessing here. Though at the time, it's easy enough for the reader to think this is some kind of serious romance, Murdock later tells Gwen that he essentially has an arrangement with Cindy Moon. Since SILK represents the only major rival to the Hand's endeavors in the West, he's found it advantageous to "keep his enemies closer". Even this visit isn't a social call, he's come specifically to ask Cindy for more isotopes to help fuel Gwen's powers.

Everything about this scene, his dramatic entrance, flippant dialogue, overbearing cologne is classic Murderdock. He's showboating, putting on a performance for an audience, in this case, Cindy. His demeanor around her is no different than what the rest of the world sees. I wouldn't go so far as to say he feels nothing for Cindy, but I don't know that I'd call it affection.

So let's move on to someone who gets an inside view...

Otomo:

"Otomo" is literally "companion" in Japanese. Whether this is the man's name or simply his job title, we never learn, but suffice to say he has filled this role for Murdock for long enough that they have a unique rapport. Otomo is allowed to speak candidly around Murdock, even when it's bad or disappointing news. He is someone that Matt trusts on some level, at least enough to let him closer than most other people, and part of that probably has to do with the fact that Otomo very likely already knows a great deal about Matt's past, at least from the point that he joined the Hand. Even if Otomo doesn't understand Matt's motivations, he does understand his motus operandi. Otomo likely doesn't know why Matt has an interest in Spider-Woman, he almost certainly doesn't know about Matt's suicidal thoughts, but he is also content not questioning anything his master does. This puts him somewhere between an employee and a friend, but I wouldn't say Otomo gets to see Matt's true face either, despite their history.

Speaking of history...

DA Nelson:

My personal favorite relationship in this universe (and let's face it, all of them, when it comes to Matt Murdock) is the one between Matt and Foggy, even though it's been twisted into something toxic and yet shockingly recognizable. Just as they were in 616, Matt and Foggy were roommates in law school, and it seems their association has continued in some form since then. Now that Foggy is District Attorney, Matt seems to have no qualms about asking for "mutually beneficial" favors, which clearly seem to come at great expense to Foggy, if only because Foggy actually gives a damn about what other people think.

I chose this panel because of one line that I have spent so much time thinking about: "Just like always... I'm trying to give you what you want, Matt." This tells us that Matt has a long history of putting pressure on Foggy, and Foggy has gone out of his way to deliver whatever it is Matt wants from him. To me, that means that Foggy has proven to be a reliable asset time and time again. That may not speak to a romantic relationship in the present, but I do think it's the sort of thing that could spawn "fond" feelings in the charcoal briquet of Murderdock's heart, although perhaps more akin to what someone feels for a well trained pet.

The interesting thing about this dynamic as we see it in the comic is that, as always, Matt doesn't actually hide his intentions from Foggy. He is very casual in the way he approaches him and speaks plainly about the rules he wants Foggy to bend. Matt shows his fangs to Foggy, but it is Foggy who makes the mistake of thinking he won't bite. Foggy trusts Matt far too much, but because of that Matt knows he's on a short leash, unlikely to wander. Of course, things change once Matt meets...

Gwen Stacy:

Now you might be sitting here and going, what, what WHAt? This is a question about affection and Gwen and Murderock are enemies. Where are you headed with this, you coco crazy pants? But hear me out on this one-

Gwen thinks Murderdock is the villain, her villain, and certainly, we the readers do as well. But Matt? Gwen is his special interest. He's not opposed to what Gwen does or who she is. Unlike Spider-Man and his villains, Gwen didn't wrong Matt in the past or steal his research or destroy his criminal empire. Matt isn't out for revenge, he doesn't want to kill Gwen. All he wants is to prove that they are, on a fundamental level, the same.

In this universe, Matt plays a role not unlike the one Mephisto plays in 616 when it comes to Spider-Man. The "basically the devil" has an obsession with corrupting Spider-Man because we can't have nice things, don't ask me. Similarly, Matt wants to break Gwen, but only by giving her so much power that she has no choice but to be corrupted by it, as he felt he was by his.

How does he plan to accomplish this? By worming his way into her life, devising scenarios that put Gwen in increasingly desperate situations and watching her squirm. He continues to up the stakes, calling in favors, giving his enemies valuable tools to manipulate them into their places on his chess board, all to force Gwen's hand and bring about his downfall. Speaking of hands, what the hell does the Hand even do in New York? I have no idea, and neither do you, because Matt sure as hell isn't minding his business, because he's obsessed with Gwen.

So! What does this mean when it comes to the answer of your question, oh so patient and gracious anon?

First of all, I don't think there's any chance that Murderdock is going to show affection (platonic or romantic) in a "normal" way. No bouquets of roses, no fancy dinners, no calls to hang out, no hugs. Part of this is because openly showing his genuine emotions is just not how Matt works. He is at his core a performer, and he is almost always "on". Those few rare moments that his true self shows through would be considered vulnerabilities to Matt, and it's hard to know how he might get to a point where he is willing to show them to another person. (One he wasn't about to kill, anyway.)

I also think we have to consider that like most Matt Murdocks, Matt-65 has experienced a great deal of loss. His mother, father, even Stick. but as opposed to Matt of 616 or the Netflix series, this loss isn't characterized by abandonment. His mother didn't choose to leave him. Stick didn't consider him an unworthy pupil. They didn't leave, they were taken. That means this is not a Matt who is concerned with the feeling that he wasn't enough to make people stay, he is concerned with the idea that if he does care about someone, outside forces could take them away from him. And if he did come to care for someone, that would need to be prevented.

I think, if Matt did feel affection for someone, it would be a hell of a long time before that person knew it, because whatever he did wouldn't include many of the typical signs. Maybe it involves secretly scrutinizing the people they interact with, or vetting and disposing of professional contacts, all without the person of his attention being any the wiser.

This might evolve into Matt just... being there. As we've seen with all of these examples, Matt is interacting with each of these people because he wants something from them, whether it's service or personal satisfaction. If Matt started hanging around someone with no ulterior motive, then I think that would be very telling. (I am reminded of cats who just show up at random houses and decide their residents are suitable hosts and end up living there.)

I don't think gifts would be material, because he is not shown to be a particularly materialistic person. (His penthouse is basically empty, he wears basic suits until he starts fashioning himself into a caricature of a villain for Gwen.) I think they would be gifts of service that he would absolutely not mention, though he would relish when the other person discovered them (though they likely wouldn't know how they came to be.) Imagine something like someone lamenting that their favorite band was on tour, but the dates in their city weren't going to work out for them, only to find out a week later that the band caught ill and had to reschedule some shows, which now worked out very well for them. How lucky! (How orchestrated, more like.)

I think we might even consider a bit of arrested development in this area, because while Matt is incredibly adept at playing a part and showing exactly the face he wants to to the world, he is woefully inexperienced at expressing genuine emotions. I think it's safe to say he'd make a bit of a mess of things at first before the recipient of his emotions was able to make sense of it all.

I see the grief as a "Freudian Excuse" more than anything; it explains their bad actions, but does not excuse the bad action themselves because children shouldn't have to compromise for their parents' misery for years, especially when the compromise has a deep lasting impact to the children's development and adult life, especially if the misery is not explained to them until far into adulthood leaving them wondering why their parents are miserable (to them) in all their childhood.

Apologies for projecting, but my aunt was depressed after losing her married daughter after childbirth, but her son-in-law and her siblings living in another city help her walk through it and prevent her grandson from being abandoned even though it takes a long time for her to recover. The lack of extended family involvement and the Buckleys' impression of putting their image in society on front make the grief ineffective in explaining their emotional neglect toward the siblings. Where's their parents? Where's their siblings? Why aren't they involved? Do they even exist and are they alive in present timeline? As powerful as grief is as an explanation, the storytelling narrative isn't strong and complex enough. We see Eddie's parents and extended family discuss what next step Eddie should take after Shannon's death, making him choose to stay. That is what is lacking in The Buckleys' backstory.

I may be remembering some plot points wrong, but I still stand on "this explains, but not excuse" stance on them. If we see an onscreen dedicated scene of them trying to make amends, my opinion on them may change.

(Not @ you, but) I feel like people get my Buckley parents (especially Margaret) posts a little twisted. In no way do I believe their neglect of both of their children is okay. What matters to me is that this is (unfortunately) one realistic portrayal of what happens to a family after a sibling death. Not every parent is able to bounce back mentally and emotionally after the death of a child. Some become dependent on substances to get through each day, don't they? The Buckley's didn't go that route, thankfully, but the fact that the mother was contemplating ending her life tells me 1) she wanted to be with her son, yes, but also 2) when you're considering that big of decision, it's because you think people are better off without you. No insult Margaret's kids can throw at her can be worse than whatever has gone through her head since the early '90s. Her behavior isn't right. But it's understandable. And, I'm sorry, but savior baby story line or not, the resentment towards Buck (and Maddie, let's not forget!) is very much a real thing that can happen. When you're one of multiple kids, and one of you dies, your parents see your sibling in you, so it hurts them to imagine where their child would be if they were still alive. And if you do something that really upsets them? Well. Then the resentment can be mutual, because the child starts to feel that it would have been better if it was them who died in place of the sibling. I know this because I live it, and I've watched others live it, too. The problem with this arc is, as you said, that it's not detailed enough. We did get the semi-reconciliation at the end of Buck Begins, but the show moved away from letting Buck (and his sister) start to heal from their childhood trauma because JLH had to be written out and Buck at peace was not really conducive to the story. His big sister's gone again. How else would he react, right? (My whole issue with that story line is that her coming back did not "fix" anything. If he was only acting like that because he missed his family...he should have been able to tell TayKay to kick rocks after the loft convo. But then L & T wouldn't have met and TayKay wouldn't have been the bad guy all over again. So.) I'm super curious to see whether Oliver was right in saying that Buck's therapy is still a factor off screen (I know that's what he hopes) and we meet a "new" set of Buckley parents - this would be another situation where there was resolution that should have made it onto the show - or we're going to find out that everybody backed out because they still weren't ready. It just depends what kind of story KR & co. think is "best". [Let it be known, though, that a complete erasure of the attempt at healing, brief as it was, is dumb af when we've had no updates on that front since s4. At least throw out a line about "Have you thought about going to therapy again?" or something.]

I can do any kind of style - para, dialogue, icons, no icons. I don’t mind how you write, however I’m not personally a fan of excessive formatting. It just makes it difficult for me to read your replies and for me, the writing is way way more important than how the writing looks.

I generally tend to use small text (just the regular small) and medium sized gifs. Sometimes I use gif icons if that’s all that I can find for a FC. But you never have to match in your replies :)

If you don’t have access to resources of your muse, then I’m 100% ok to go without in a thread, I don’t mind not having any visual. I’m not really a fan of the big gifs found in the gif search or photos/gifs that don’t match the setting. It just really throws me off, that’s probably my only real no-no for this.

This might seem super specific, but if you have muses who are drastically different in age to their fc and resources, then I’m not really a fan. I’m just really not a fan of this, and I feel it perpetuates a lot of the issues I see around age in the rpc.

Hoo, talking about not liking a ship in this fandom is so risky but I'm happy to see everyone is sane to hold a calm conversation here! I have a problem with some ladies in Genshin because some just seem so bland like Ayaka and Jean, like you said before. For me Ayaka literally have no personality and (look at the risk) Beelzebub, not the puppet, the Archon. Those two just seem so... uninteresting, before the plot of the Shogun being 2 beings in 1 I was so hyped for Baal because she looked so amazing and scary the type of "don't give me any bullshit" but turned out that was the puppet and not the Archon... Kokomi was in the list too but after seeing her dealing with mental health I began to go soft for her. But also, I do understand the appeal these characters can hold and I'm happy for anyone that have them as their favorite be it for meta or for lore and characterization. And while I do like Zhongli and Childe (because, alongside Diluc, I also love Zhongli very much) I can see why some people don't like the ship, if we're going to analyze Zhongli as a character, we can all agree that Zhongli was pretty much an a-hole, and Childe being Childe would never trust in him again, they can still have little encounters where they eat together but I think this is more so Childe can keep an eye on the strongest and oldest ex-Archon-without-a-gnosis and nag him for a spar with him. BUT may I offer you: Zhongli x Diluc x Childe skjdfnkjnsd O god how I like rare ships, there's always so few people that like them and they're always so creative. ~S

Well, I do my best to ensure people know I would never invalidate their opinions. And ya know... I don't think my opinions are law. So I hope I feel like I am a good place to try and have that discussion. Especially since I also try to make it clear I'm not going to have a discussion if my opinions aren't respected.

I do have a fear that most Genshin women are built to be sold rather than built for their characters. Like Jean, Ei and Ayaka feel like really good examples of that. I'd also put Keqing in there, too. Yes I will forever be bitter about her being a 5-star over Ningquang or Beidou who not only make more sense to be 5 but are waaaay more involved in the story and have stronger personalities.

Like to be hoenst Jean, Ei, and Ayaka. They are my meta Builds. I built them to play a part. I do not care about them. Ei currently is my Xiao battery. Jean is out there to Heal my Childe, and Ayaka is a sub DPS for my Diluc. Though with Ayaka, I can work around her in relationships to my favorite asshole, Ayato. So I'm a little more partial.

And finally, for ZhongchiLuc. I'm not an OT3 person, but It's the only way I personally can see that relationship working is Zhongli and Childe bonding through a mutual love of Diluc. If you want more of my thoughts about it, I'll just kinda... Direct you to this post. Also, here are some other posts I'm making about them, which... might mean I have a thing in the works, but I'm currently editing. (Mod AUs are a pain in my ass)

The moon is always bright above the woods. Well - that's not true, logically, and Ranboo knows this. The moon has phases, after all—some nights it is full in its glory and other nights it is but a small sliver, the slightest hint of a gentle smile in the sky, and of course some nights it is not even there at all, nestled behind clouds or facing away from the sun's light. But it feels like, every time he goes into the forest, the moon is like a beacon in the sky, almost as though it is smiling just for him. And perhaps it is, he allows himself to think some nights, when he slips out of the house as though he is nothing but a shadow, and the grass beneath his feet seems to come alive as he crosses beyond the trees, and the crickets' sound grows just a bit louder, just a bit more melodious, just a bit more welcoming, and he can feel in the very fibers of his being that he is coming home.

And then morning comes and he wakes in a grassy clearing or against a tree trunk or in his own bed, dirt and leaves caught in his hair and with little to no memory of how he got there, and the magical feeling disappears and he wonders what it is that the moon or the forest does to him that makes him lose all reasoning and believe in such insensible wonders. And, welcomed back to reality with none of the gentleness that the forest greets him with, Ranboo greets the day with a groan and prepares himself for a grueling day of school.

my  reply  pace  is  incredibly  slow.  Like,  excruciatingly  slow.  Anyone  who  has  roleplayed  with  me  knows  that  I  sometimes  take  2-3  weeks  to  reply  because  I  have  to  balance  work  and  law  school  irl.  But  I  try  to  make  my  replies  worthwhile  in  order  to  placate  everyone  !  Please  don’t  think  I’m  giving  you  the  cold  shoulder.  I’m  not.  I’m  really  not.  But  if  my  pace  bothers  you,  kindly  send  me  a  message  so  I  can  drop  our  thread.  I  won’t  be  cross  with  you  or  anything.  I  understand  and  I’d  rather  we  drop  our  thread  on  friendly  terms.

sometimes  it  takes  several  days  for  me  to  respond  to  a  simple  askbox  meme.  Again,  I’m  terribly  sorry.  I  would  much  rather  give  you  a  well-written  reply  than  a  simple  one-liner.

i  do  not  equate  dropping  a  thread  with  hostility  or  disdain.  That  is,  if  it  is  done  civilly.  At  times,  people  forget  that  roleplaying  is  a  hobby  and  that  real  life  takes  precedence  over  threads.  Dropping  threads  is  healthy  and  is  simply  a  part  of  life.  Dropping  a  thread  does  not  mean  that  I  will  not  roleplay  with  you  in  the  future.  It  may  just  mean  that  I’ve  lost  my  muse  for  said  thread.  Or  it  may  mean  that  I  haven’t  got  the  time  to  provide  you  with  an  adequate  response.  I  also  do  not  mind  if  someone  unfollows  me  without  warning  as  long  as  they  are  not  discourteous  towards  either  myself  or  my  friends.

  i’m  open  to  roleplaying  with  most  people.  This  includes  canon  characters,  OCs,  and  characters  in  an  au  setting.  However,  I  generally  like  it  if  the  people  I  roleplay  with  take  their  character  seriously.  What  do  I  mean  by  this?  I  mean  I  prefer  that  people  use  correct  grammar  and  diction  whilst  roleplaying  with  me.

i  can  roleplay  in  spanish  upon  request.  It’s  my  native  tongue.  Roleplaying  in  English  is  incredibly  difficult  if  it  is  not  your  first  language  and  I  want  my  blog  to  be  accessible  to  all.  

i  am  a  multiship  blog.  However,  I’m  extremely  reluctant  about  involving  my  muse  in  romantic  ships.  If  you  wish  to  pursue  such  a  relationship,  please  send  me  a  message  and  we  can  discuss  it.  Otherwise,  please  do  not  expect  anything  more  than  a  close  friendship.  There  must  be  at  least  a  sense  of  camaraderie  between  your  muse  and  my  muse  for  an  amorous  relationship  to  form.

  i  do  not,  under  any  circumstances,  roleplay  smut  !

do  not  force  me  into  a  ship.  Seriously.  Don’t.  This  puts  me  in  a  really  uncomfortable  situation.  And  please  don’t  interact  with  me  for  the  sole  purpose  of  shipping  our  muses  together.  Relationships  —  romantic  or  otherwise  —  are  dynamic.  And  oftentimes,  a  relationship  often  blossoms  from  a  friendship  or  an  alliance.  Catch  my  drift?

please  refrain  from  causing  drama.  This  is  supposed  to  be  a  place  where  people  come  together  to  make  something  wonderful,  not  a  place  where  people  are  constantly  being  harassed  by  anons  or  victimized  by  cliques.  I  have  a  zero-tolerance  policy  with  regards  to  such  behavior.

i  am  more  than  willing  to  tag  triggers.  I  usually  tag  posts  that  involve  abuse,  blood,  etc.,  but  if  you  have  another  trigger  that  I  am  not  aware  of,  just  send  me  a  message  and  I  will  be  sure  to  add  the  tag  in  the  future.

  please  do  not  guilt  me  into  replying.  My  muse  comes  and  goes,  as  does  my  motivation  to  write.  Passive  aggressively  pressuring  me  into  replying  will  not  speed  up  my  pace.  If  anything,  it  will  discourage  me  from  working  on  our  thread.

I know for certain there's folks who are into sunny and under 17. A mutual in law of mine is 15 and a big fan

OH YEAH THERES DEFINITELY TEENS ON SUNNYBLR.....AND LIKE.....OKAY.....

Theres nothing Wrong with that honestly!!! Like, i was obsessed with some very inaapropriate adult things when i was a teenager. And I still love a lot of those things today. So it feels dumb for me to arbitrarily draw a line in the sand and say "only enjoy sunny if you are OLDER than this!!!!"

But at the same time i just hope that younger viewers know to not imitate the behaviours onscreen.

And what i mean when i say that is this;

I know most teenagers are smart enough and possess enough critical thinking ability to not degrade or hurt people. I know most of yall are intelligent enough to not commit arson, go drunk driving or do any of the other awful things depicted in Sunny.

But AT THE SAME TIME, it can be really easy to accidentally normalize that behaviour in your mind especially when ur young.

When I was a teenager i watched a lot of family guy and used 4chan obsessively (2 things that I Do Not Miss from that time in my life) bc it was SOOOOOO EDGY THAT IT WAS HILARIOUS. And even though i knew rationally that what I was seeing was Wrong, it also kind of......diminished the reality of what what being depicted for me.

Seeing violent racism/sexism/etc on 4chan felt like a big joke to me. Nobody could ACTUALLY BELIEVE THIS STUFF RIGHT??? So it was all in good fun! It was just a JOKE BRO!!! I was allowed to tell racially violent jokes despite being white bc i WAS JUST JOKINGGG BROOOOOOO. And i REALLY believed that. I really believed that it was okay to verbally degrade others if i was doing it in jest and didnt actually believe in it.

So

IN CONCLUSION;

Teenagers, i dont give a fuck if ur watching Sunny honestly. As long as you are remembering to distinguish between reality and fiction and adjusting your real life behaviour accordingly

(I also nicknamed by highschool best friend "FAGGOT" and would call them that in front of other people that we didnt know and everyone at school thought i was literally commiting hate crimes against them and it was a VERY BAD LOOK FOR ME but then they came out to me as gay and said they had a big gay crush on me and we are still friends 15 years later so...your results may vary)
