I've made my peace with pretty much everything I wasn't keen on in the bonus chapter by now, but I'm still furious that in the best passage of the chapter, nay book, nay Casey's entire catalogue, they call Henry an Oxford SOPHOMORE.

I get that there were American publishing standards, but would it have killed Casey (or their publishers) to call him a second year like he would've called himself

okay but that one i will not trade one prison for another line. it hurts so fucking much. henry has only ever wanted a quiet life, far from the public eye, where he could finally be himself, nothing left buried. politics is a prison all the same. sure it does allow more freedom than being an heir to the british throne, but it’s still a life in the eye of the storm. but to think that in a few short years there won’t be prisons to trade anymore. because henry loves alex so much that he never wants to go back. and alex is done with the hectic life of politics he’d always thought he wanted, he wants a quieter job, a quieter life. they choose a life far from the scrutiny of the public, a house in texas where they can finally build a life on their own terms, be husbands, maybe start a family. they choose that life they never thought they could have. in this essay i will—

but also matthew has said he'd be open to it as long as casey has an idea and during a semi recent ama someone asked casey who proposes and they said they couldn't answer "in case it becomes a spoiler one day." which is like 👀

Percy asked Henry to come with him to New York, to help open the LGBTQ+ shelter that they have been working hard on to set up. New York. The city that Miguel had wanted them to move to and now he might lose the love of his life to that same city.

'Do you have RWRB here but the Blue one' LIKE I WAS UNSURE.

And the staff I asked looked like 'Huh, which book are u talking about?'

And then like not the staff I was talking to but another staff person who stood nearby LITERALLY saying 'Sadly we don't have that here,'

AND THEN THE STAFF PERSON BE LIKE; 'I'm also waiting for my edition.'

AND ME SUDDENLY BEING LIKE SUPER HYPED. IEAN C'MON WHEN DID Y'ALL REALLY SAW A RWRB FAN IRL WHO ALSO WANTED TO READ THE BLUE EDITION. LIKE HUH.
