That was the name that was given to this face, and I’ve taken it along with my consciousness. ‘The Fourth’ part of my name was only a superficial addition that He haphazardly... slapped on, as they say, to make himself sound important I assume.❞

T’was how we had come to adopt this canine in the first place. We were close, until my first act of insubordination cost him his life. I suppose my fondness stayed, even long past his death.❞

❝Ah, much better! I dabble in fashion design, and my ear for music is not to be underestimated! I can play the Violin and Piano quite well, if I say so myself. However, my truly favorite past time is Book-binding. It relaxes me, and watching the ancient, decrepit tomes of yore be resurrected in their full glory before my eyes and by my hands fills me with accomplishment few things can match. I do not use magic to renew these tomes, mind you. It is both a precaution, and a preference; foreign aether can alter, damage, or even remove the innate magic held within an enchanted text.❞

MEDICBUN

- When tense, anxious, or on edge, Medi tends to dissociate with the world around her, growing distant or cold in some cases. She will then proceed to try and calm herself down with reading a book, or meditating to clear her mind. If you’d need a clear tell-tale sign that she’s nervous, however, she will tap her foot repeatedly, as if impatiently waiting for something.

11. What is something that would make your character fly into a rage?

For Samga? It can be many things! Mortally wounding his friends in front of him, hurting Ikki in any way, shape, or form, desecrating the sanctity of his food, and threatening his precious family.

Medi, it is few things, but one thing is reminding her of her questionable existence and how she can’t hurt you because she’s not real, to which she will promptly prove you wrong.

Oliver DETESTS those that boast divinity without any proof. They detest those that would speak as if their word was that of a God and pull the wool over many unsuspecting innocents’ eyes. Seeing those that try to make him kneel to their “Divine Power” are often met with a slow and agonizing death as they are reminded of their mortality.

Get to know my Character meme

43. Does your character have a switch that changes aspects of their personality whether they are around friends, family, etc. Is there someone who gets to see their true self?

Medi does have a few different alterations to herself when around various individuals. When she is up against a stranger who means to do her harm, her demeanor shifts to that of an impossibly cold, cunning creature who will show no mercy if their opponent means to do the same. Her tongue strikes as hard as her blade and will not hesitate to stab you both physical and metaphorically should she have dirt on you.

Around acquaintances, she tends to act formal and polite towards them, respectful and kind.. But around friends and family? She is much more casual, and can even come off as Sassy in some instances.

Only with Ane, the people she claims to have loved above all else, get to learn of her insecurities and provide her solace during times of doubt and gives her a means of ventilation... Unfortunately with Ane gone, she’s had these negative feelings bottled up for who-knows-how-long....

Name: Bethany Olivia Ingrid Anne Koraline IV Esq.

Nickname(s): Medi, Bethany, Bethy

Reason for name: Medicbun because she’s a Doctor and a Rabbit, but her full name has a secret in it that I won’t give out just yet :y

Birthday: March 15

Age: Her age is physically 22, but her mental age is much older, though unknown just how old.

Gender: She/Her, They/Them, though her ability to shapeshift her form allows her to be Gender Fluid at will tbh

Place of birth: Unknown

Places lived since: She has been known to have been a Doctor for a small village of buns close to the jungle where Team Ears’ journey had started; After Paulga took out the sword and Samga, along with another bun who hasn’t been introduced yet took on the sealed sword Wizard, Grudge, she was brought on board for their journey along with Techhy and Ikki. They traveled around and lived in A massive floating Airship which provided them a mobile base of operations and living quarters where they’d spent their time winding down or planning their next move. When she arrived in the world of Undertale, she had later met a Carpenter Bun by the name of Santana whom she befriended and later helped them, and in return they built Medi A Cabin deep in Snowdin Forest. In the Funamusea Verse she currently has no home.

Parents: She has no parents

Number of siblings: Team Ears could be considered her siblings, in which case she would have 3 Sisters and 3 Brothers

Relationship with family: She had left Team Ears after the conclusion to their journey, they had found out she was actually working with Genesis and that she was a Disciple the whole time; She also had destroyed one of Techhy’s bots, the one that had found this information out, but their memory log was in tact. Techhy hates Medi now and Medi feels she is hated by everyone, including her ex-partner, Ane.

Happiest memory: She has a few memories with Team Ears yet remembering them only makes her remember how much of a traitor she was; She remembers that Team Ears participated in a Beauty Pageant with her, and Medi helped Ane win First Place while Medi took Second. Another was when She and Ane had confessed their feelings to eachother, and they became closer from then on.

Childhood trauma: She was never a child, but she does remember before she became her own conciousness and personality, Oliver had worn her face while serving under Genesis before Team Ears, and while he did so he had assisted in destroying two worlds, meaning Medi had to watch as her own hands took the lives of countless innocent people for Oliver’s plot.

Children of their own: She wanted to have a child with Ane but before they could start figuring out how to bear children, because Ane was infertile, Medi had left the Team, branded a traitor.

Style of dress: Medi often wears semi-formal clothes, though she loves to dress to impress when it’s for an occassion! Whether it’s going out to a Ball or going out to the Beach, she tends to have some flashiness to her outfits or some bit of formality to it.

Health: Being a Doctor, she does tend to try and live a healthy lifestyle, though it’s not needed when magic is involved. She can keep herself looking however she’d like with shapeshifting magic; She doesn’t need to sleep or eat either, her Meditation keeps her rejuvinated and it replenishes her Mana all the while! When she can clear her mind and find a nice place to relax that is.

Grooming: She’ll groom herself to keep herself from looking like a slop, it’s easy for her obviously. She does, however, know how to groom herself without Magic and will do some most times to keep herself in practice, she also taught Samga how to do Ikki’s hair for her when they were first traveling together!

Physical habits: Her foot will thump the ground when she is extremely excited (she is in a Rabbit Body anyway), but other than that, not really anything else.

Intellect

Level of education: Being a bit of a scholar, and being born from the crumbling mental state of Oliver’s act as her, she knows about as much as Oliver does up to when He put on an act around Team Ears, it was her time with Team Ears that seperated Oliver from Medi in termso of conciousness-- But beyond that, her education is extremely plentiful, seeing as She went to Med School.

Talents: Medi’s got a steady hand, and great eyesight despite what her glasses would tell you, she is also a very talented Knife-wielder and Magic User, one that would rival Oliver. She also plays Violin quite well, and is a bit of a Fashionista on the side, along with being able to manually Book-bind!

Shortcomings: Medi may come off as a bit of an oddball when she approaches you if you catch her curiousity. She also can’t cook very well, and her baked goods come out burnt or mushy. Her Magic is also one that works off her mental state, meaning she has to be calm to draw out her magic. If one is to get under her skin, they could effectively lessen the impact of their magic-- Oliver is like this aswell.

Style of speech: Medi speaks formally to most people, though when she is around close friends, she speaks more casually. Sometimes she can sound a little long-winded, but she tries not to go overboard.

When it comes to someone insulting her, her speech stabs at her enemies like daggers to match her glares at them.

Artistic/mathematical: Medi is artistic in some aspects like visual design and sketch art, considering her hobbies. She can, however, solve math equations if given enough time to solve them!

Makes decisions on emotion or logic: She tends to use logic to guide her decisions most of the time, though there will be times where her emotions are so strong they overshadow her practical side..

Life philosophy: Everyday is an oppurtunity to learn something new.

Religious stance: She has no religion she sticks to, she tends to drift away from these conversations from how touchy they can get. Oliver has met many divine beings in his past, which means that by extension she has also met gods in other worlds.

Cautious/daring: Her curiousity drives her to do many things that get her into trouble and is more daring, though when she isn’t curious, she is more calculative of her actions and therefore, cautious

Past / current occupation(s): Village Doctor, Team Medic, Supportive Bard for the Team aswell as part time musician. Currently she works as an assistant librarian at Snowdin’s Librarby.

Passions: She is passionate towards her magic, her music, and her designs and yet she also finds herself passionate towards her friends, as much as she feels they’ll hate her later on.. Other than that she is also passionate about books! She loves to make them and she loves to read them.
