While the grownups were having an intense conversation at the adult table, a completely different conversation was going down at the kid table.

Camille wasn't exactly pleased to be sequestered off with the babies for this family meal, so she decided to have some retributive fun.

"Why Grampy talking loud with Mama and Daddy?" Andros looked on at them curiously.

"Dro Dro, Mama and Daddy are playing!" Alberich giggled not truly understanding the situation.

"You're both wrong." Camille interjected.

"Mama and Daddy are deciding which one of you is staying behind to live with Grampy."

"What's behind?" Brick asked confused.

"It means, Mama, Daddy, and Cordelia and I will go home and one of you have to stay here to help Grampy. Forever."

"But I love Mama and Daddy. I can't be behind." The worry was starting set in on Droby's face.

"Well, it's too late for that. Unless..."

"Less what?" Brick chimed in.

"Well, I might be able to put in a good word....for one of you."

"Word?"

"Mmmhmm. You see, I could be nice and tell Mama and Daddy which way to lean. But I would need to be convinced which one of you to vouch for."

"I can vince!" Droby yelled. "How I vince?"

"Well, you'd need to do things for me."

"Like bring me things when I ask. Give me your deserts, or ask Mama for stuff you know I want, then give it to me. Simple stuff."

The boys nodded hoping to save their own skins. Millie knew it was wrong, but she couldn't resist taking advantage of their young gullibility.

It didn't take long for the thought of one of the boys being separated from the family to get to them, and they both ended up in tears.

"Now, Camille. What did you do to those babies? They were fine just a second ago."

"Grampy, what do you take me for? I'm not a monster!"

"That's not it! I just...I—" Cordie felt backed into a corner a bit by this dinner being suddenly sprung on her and Jai. "It just feels like a lot of pressure. Jai and I only just started dating. What if he were to break up with me if he feels like he has to do this dinner?"

"I don't want either of you to feel pressured, sweetheart." Dre reassured her. "If it makes it a bit easier on you, you can let Jai and his parents decide when it'll work best to come over. It's meant to be friendly, not high stakes, we'd just feel better knowing his folks more."

"OK, I guess I could ask him." Cordie eased only just a little. "But you have to promise it really will be friendly and low pressure. You can't pry too much or really grill anyone." She eyed her father.

"I'll make sure your father behaves." Dre gave a knowing smile.

With that bombshell behind them, they could all finally dig into their pancakes, but Cordie wasn't quite ready to move on yet.

"You little puke!" She quietly directed her ire toward Millie. "Don't think I won't pay you back for what you just did!"

"Do you really wanna try testing me again? That didn't work out for you that well this time, now did it?"

"That was this time! It's no mercy from here on out. One toe out of line, and I'll make sure Mama hears about it!"

"Careful. You have no idea how much dirt I have on you."

"It's on, little sister. You're going down, and I'm taking no prisoners. It's all executioner style!"

"Oooh, I'm shaking in my shark sandles." Millie feigned a shiver.

Cordie would have to plot her revenge on Millie later, for now she had this impending dinner to figure out.

Before Cordelia could fully explain herself, Cameron was already in a stir.

"Cameron, honey, calm down." Dre was taking the news in stride.

"Calm down? Dre she said boyfriend!"

"Are you really so surprised? You said yourself you thought her and Jairo were getting closer."

"Yes, but I thought they'd start out by going out on a few dates together not already being boyfriend and girlfriend. Wait? It is Jai, right? If it's another boy, I don't know if I approve."

"Cam." Dre tried to settle him. "Cordelia, set your father's heart at ease."

"Well, my boyfriend is Jai." Cam let out a sigh of relief. "It's not that I was keeping it from you, everything just happened so fast and there wasn't a moment to let you know."

"Hmm, that's interesting. Weren't you a couple when we went to the Fall Festival." Millie chimed in.

"It was pretty quiet on the car ride there, it just makes me wonder why Cordie couldn't have told us all then."

"You little snake!" Cordie said under her breath. "Don't think I won't remember this!"

"Girls," Dre calmed them both, "Let's not get too excited."

"There's a simple way to resolve all of this."

"There is?" Cam looked to his wife curiously.

"Of course. If the question is if we approve of Cordelia having a boyfriend, the best way to get a feel for it is to invite the Reynolds over for dinner."

"We've gotten to know Jai pretty well as Cordie's friend, but we don't really know his thoughts as it relates to them being in a relationship. That and I don't believe we've gotten to know his parents. This will be a good opportunity for everyone to get to know everyone better."

"I guess that's true." Cam was reluctant. "And it would be good to know that they have the same ideas as us as far as how often they see each other, how late they're out, not being left alone and unsupervised when their together at Jai's place."

"Daddy!" Cordie protested.

"Cordelia, though your dad's phrasing may not have been the best, I do think it would be a good idea that Jai's parents and your dad and I are on the same page with what we're all OK with. I think it'll be nice, unless you have a reason for us not to meet Jai's parents."

Before long the entire Fletcher clan made it to the breakfast table to have a family meal together before they hit the road back to Oasis Springs.

But for Cordelia it was less about pancakes and more about finally getting one over on Camille. She could hardly wait.

Her intense level of glee could not be missed by her very own mother.

"Cordelia, is there a reason you're smiling so intently in my direction?" Andrea asked her unable to ignore her immense enthusiasm.

"Me? Oh, it's just you look really pretty today, Mama."

"Uh, huh. What do you want?" Dre knew better than to take an unprompted compliment at face value.

"I don't want anything. But I do have to tell you something."

"Oh?"

Millie shot Cordie a dirty look, but there was no going back now.

"Yes, but before I say it, I want to give Camille an opportunity to say her peace first. And if she does, as her big sister, I hope you'll see it in your heart to go easy on her for her punishment."

"I see. Camille, is there something you want to come clean about?"

"Yes, there is, Mama."

"Go ahead, I'm listening, baby."

"Well, I wasn't going to say anything at first cause I thought you and Daddy knew, but I'm pretty sure you don't."

"What are you playing at, Camille?" Cordie got suspicious.

"Oh nothing. It's just that, I think you all should know that Cordie has a boyfriend!"

"Boyfriend?" Cam gaspsed.

"Boyfen?" Andros said confused.

"Pancakes!" Brick lost the plot.

"Cordie, care to explain?" Dre was hot on Cordelia's tail.

"What? Well...see....what had happened was...." Frazzled, Cordie scrambled to find her words.

She was prepared for Millie getting her comeuppance. What she wasn't prepared for was getting a dose of some of her own.

Eventually, Cordie was able to get the boys to bed, although not without incident as she spent entirely too long trying to convince them that Millie's words to them were lies and no one was getting left behind with Grampy. Once their tears dried, they both passed out.

And after chewing Millie out for creating the whole ordeal and then fighting over which side of the bed each of them was entitled to, both Cordie and Millie followed suit with Droby and Brick and passed out themselves.

Come morning, Cordie got right on top of her big sister duties and cuddled and played with Brick to help him further forget the trauma Millie had put him through the night before.

But Cordie very much intended to remember it and ensure Millie got proper punishment for her antics.

After Dre and Cam took the boys to get them ready, Cordie and Millie got themselves ready as well. But as Cordie was finishing up, she wasted no time letting Camille know what she had in store for her.

"If you apologize now, I'll tell Mama to go easy on you."

"I have no idea what you're talking about." Millie tried to brush her off.

"It's you fault the boys were in hysterics last night, telling them one of them would have to stay behind with Grampy? What you did was awful!"

"So what? It's not my fault they're gullible."

"It is your fault cause you're old enough to know better. And I'm pretty sure Mama and Daddy won't appreciate the joke when they hear about it."

"If you know what's good for you, Cordelia, you'll keep your mouth shut."

"Or what? I hold all the cards in this situation."

"Don't be too sure about that, Princess Sugar."

"Please, you're just bluffing cause you know I've got you cornered! Last chance, except now you have to get on your knees and beg for leniency."

"No way!"

"Fine. I'll make sure Mama's especially tough on you then."

"Let me make one thing very clear, Cordelia. If you say anything, I'll make you regret it. So think wisely about trying to throw me under the bus." Millie had a satisfied smile on her face as she walked away.

For a moment, it had Cordie worried.

She sounded so sure of herself, like she really had something on her. But there was no way. Millie was just pulling her chain to keep her quiet. No way was that going to work this time.

Cordie smiled at herself triumphantly. This time she'd put Millie in her place.

When she finally gained the ability to move again, she whent back inside, tied back up her hair and collapsed on her bed. She could still hear her heart pounding in her ears, and she could still feel where Jai's arms were around her.

He said he liked her.

He wants to go out.

But she still had no idea how she should answer, or if she even felt the same way.

How did she feel?

The more she thought about it, the more confused she felt. This was different than her crush on Aiden. It wasn't childish like that. How was she supposed to know how she felt?

By the morning, she thought she might have clarity, but she was just as confused. She needed to talk to someone about this, so when she ran into Alphie and Brick in the bathroom she got an idea.

"Morning, Alpha." Cordie gave a bright smile.

"Good morning Ms. Cordelia!"

"Did you sleep well? Young master Alberich's sleep was disturbed. I observed incontinence in his bottom clothing layer."

"Brick went boom boom," baby Brickie lamented.

"That means—"

"I know what boom boom means, Alphie. But I was hoping you could help with something else?"

"What assistance do you require?"

"Well, I was wondering if you knew of a way to figure out your true feelings for someone."

"Feelings?"

"Yeah, like whether you like them?"

"Like? To find agreeable?"

"More than that. Like, 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 someone."

"Agreeable, agreeable?"

"I don't think you're getting it, Alphie."

"Perhaps further elaboration is necessary?"

"Umm, I don't really know how else to explain it. It's stronger than like. Like you always want to be near them."

"Magnetism? I don't believe humans have magnetic poles."

"Umm, ya know what, Alphie? Never mind. I don't think this is something you can help me with after all."

"Shall I reup my information banks on the topic of interpersonal relationships?"

"No, forget it. I think I need to figure this out on my own. But thanks. Really."

There was no way Alpha was going to be able to help her with something like this. She knows a lot of stuff, but she's never liked anyone like Jai likes her. As far as Cordie knew Servos couldn't fall in love, so she'd have to ask advice from someone who had experience.

After giving birth to baby 4, Alberich Sheldon Fletcher, Cameron and Andrea went full steam ahead on finally realizing both of their dreams. A robotics shop for Cam and a private clinic for Andrea. They broke ground on a space in the heart of Del Sol Valley.

They're days away from opening the doors to their new future careers as entrepreneurs and they couldn't be more thrilled. Their lifes' works have reached the pinacle and it's everything they could've hoped for 😊

But it's not just their careers that have evolved. Their family and friends have too.

Droby and Brick are no longer dribbling infants, they're now double trouble as toddlers. Cam and Dre aren't spring chickens, so it's lucky Alpha is around to help wrangle these two.

Little Camille Adora Fletcher has done some growing too. She's gone from Cordie's little shadow, to a blossoming muscian. She writes guitar ballads about the woes of middle childdom. But when tapped for music inspo, she just goes and reads Cordie's diary for teen angst songs 😂

She also plays the piano, and quite well too! Cam likes to watch her play and cheer her on, which Millie hates with a passion. So after shooting him glares to stop whooping and making her lose her concentration, Cam usually quietly watches her play with a proud smile.

"So, does our little guy have a name?" Dre handed the new little one over to him to cradle and bond with.

"Well, I was thinking another 'A' name to keep with the boys being A's and the girls C's."

"So?"

"Alberich. I really like Alberich."

"Little baby Brick. It's cute."

"Brick? Cam!" Dre nudged him.

"It's a cute nickname. It suits him!"

"Why not something cuter like Aubery or Rickie?"

"No, it has to be Brick." The baby gurgled. "See, he likes it!"

"Fine." Dre acquiesced. "Brickie it is."

But as the newly babied for the 4th time couple continued to bond with their baby, unbeknowst to them, unexpected visitors had arrived at their door 👀

Once the contractions started coming in heavy, Dre laid back on the bed in pain.

"You're doing great, babe." Cam said but unable to hide his worry on his face.

"It's fine, it just means the baby is coming soon." Dre winced in pain "But not yet. I can't push yet."

The pain began to ratchet up and with it, Dre began to question everything. Maybe she should have eased into this private practice trial. Perhaps having the baby at Rebekkah's clinic would've been a better middle ground.

She lurched. "It hurts so bad I wanna scream!"

Cam could hear the defeatedness in her voice and squeezed her hand in support, but he could still see her squirming in pain, seemingly doubting everything, so he pulled her up close to him.

"I know what you're doing, and as your husband I'm telling you stop. You 𝘤𝘢𝘯 do this."

"You've done this beautifully 3 times already, and you'll do it beautifully again this one last time. I know you will. Cause you're amazing, and you can do anything." He kissed her forehead, which gave her the strength she needed.

"I can do this!" She confirmed.

And then, almost like the baby synced up with their new resolve, it happened.

"Cam it's time. It's really really time!"

"Got it! I'm right here. Push with everything you have and I'll catch the baby when it comes out."

So Dre pushed, and pushed, and the pain was excruciating, and somewhere in there she might've doubted or regretted or second thought her choice to do it like this. But when that final push happened and she hear her baby's cries, all of that changed.

"Dre, it's a...."

"It's a?"

"He's a boy." Cam smiled. "Another healthy beautiful boy. Two of each. We're so blessed."

"Yes, we are." Dre smiled back as she cradled their newborn.

"I still can't believe you were able to do this all on your own." Cam looked on at their new baby in awe, trying his best to hold back tears.

"I did it with you, love. And I never would have been able to do it if you weren't here."

They memorialized the moment in a kiss.
