الحلال لا يمكن أن يكون سهلا أبدا

Halal can never be easy.

لكن البركة التي فيها تستحق كل صعوبة

But the Barakah it contains is worth every difficulty.

i love seeing myself handling things better than my old self would have

وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتًا ۚ بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ

And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision,

فَرِحِينَ بِمَا آتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ وَيَسْتَبْشِرُونَ بِالَّذِينَ لَمْ يَلْحَقُوا بِهِم مِّنْ خَلْفِهِمْ أَلَّا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ 

Rejoicing in what Allah has bestowed upon them of His bounty, and they receive good tidings about those [to be martyred] after them who have not yet joined them - that there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.

يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ بِنِعْمَةٍ مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَفَضْلٍ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُضِيعُ أَجْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

They receive good tidings of favor from Allah and bounty and [of the fact] that Allah does not allow the reward of believers to be lost -

اللْهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي

allahumma innaka afuwwun tuhibbul afwa fa'fu anni

"O Allah, Indeed You are Forgiving and love forgiveness, so forgive me”

the best dua to recite in the last 10 days of ramadan. may allah accept our repentance.

واكتبْ لي مقعدًا في الجنَّة، حتىَ إذا جلستُ، ضحكتُ علىَ أيامِ الدُنيا المُتعِبة كأنني لم أرَ حُزنًا ولم أشعرْ همًا أبدًا

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:

"The whole world from its beginning until its end is not worth an hour of sadness, so what about the sadness of a whole life...

What we love today will catch up with what we hate tomorrow, and what we hate today will catch up with what we love tomorrow."

The most comforting sentence in Islam:

"If you come to Me walking, I will come to you running."

If you think you have nothing to be grateful for, check your pulse.

 وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِأَمَانَاتِهِمْ وَعَهْدِهِمْ رَاعُونَ (8) 

And they who are to their trusts and their promises attentive

وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَوَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ (9)

And they who carefully maintain their prayers -

 أُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْوَارِثُونَ (10)

Those are the inheritors

الَّذِينَ يَرِثُونَ الْفِرْدَوْسَ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ (11)

Who will inherit al-Firdaus. They will abide therein eternally.

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said,

"So fear Allah as much as you are able..."

[سورة التغابن (٦٤) : ١٦]

Ibn Taymiyyah (رحمه الله تعالى) said,

"Whoever strives in the obedience of Allah and His Messenger (ﷺ) according to his ability is from Ahl Al Jannah (People of Jannah)."

there are no sad endings for those who trust Allah.
