Namjoon frowns at the obvious sadness in your body language and he glances towards the door with an uneasy expression.

"I mean...I could tell them another day..." he suggested and a part of you lit up at the idea. But your shoulders sag at the thought of him leaving his boys hanging for you. Again. With his work schedule, he barely had time to kick it with them. The two of you lived together.

He saw you every day.

So what was a few hours of guy time really going to hurt?

You shook your head.

"Just go.." you sigh and Namjoon quirks a brow.

"You dont want me to stay? Its not a big deal. I can.."he begins but you pad over the carpeted floors on bare feet to where he stood next to the bed.

"Nope. Go. Or else your friends will resent me for turning you into a flake.." you pout and Namjoon's lips break out into a dimpled grin that has you rolling your eyes. He tilts his head in attempt to catch your gaze.

"Sure you wont be mad?" he asks with softening eyes. You nod silently with a stiff shrug to portray to him that you werent really tripping over him having to leave, even though you were a tad salty.

Fortunately though, Namjoon knows you better than that.

He catches you by the wrist.

"Babe.." his tone drops and you glance at him breifly to nod again.

You dont catch his smirk or the twinkling mischief in his eye as you prepared to turn away to head back into the bathroom.

and this trip all happened really last minute (i got the email asking if i was interested on the 9th, everything was finalized on the 10th, found out my brother tested positive on the 11th) (i have tested negative every day since then and will test again before i leave) and bc of that/the covid situation i felt bad asking anyone in my family to help out with any logistical barriers (ie pet care while im gone, travel to/from airport, etc)

i finally did ask my oldest sister if she’d be able to watch phoebe and she’s totally fine with that, which is great bc i was literally 2 seconds away from paying someone random online just to avoiding inconveniencing her lol

and i was planning on taking a lyft there and i knew that would be ✨pricey✨ bc it’s 1.5 hrs away so i was just trying to mentally accept the cost of it (bc ultimately it’s worth it for the whole experience of traveling) but my anxiety kinda took off when i looked it up and it was $130 each away 💀

so i sent a text to my dad on wednesday asking if he would be able to drive me back from the airport on the 20th if he did not have covid and was feeling well

and he left me on read 🧚

so after a very frustrating conversation with my mom today (where she called me selfish for not considering the cost of tolls and gas rn) (which i was 100% going to pay if he drove, which i would have told him had he replied back) i ended the phone call in very dramatic tears and was like okay either im paying ~$260 and i can let that anxiety sit with me the whole trip (bc major ~scarcity mindset even with money) (it’s the worst!!!) or i can send an awkward email to the company asking if i could be reimbursed for that expense and hope the best

so i emailed a man named david whom i’ve never met (well first i edited my email until it no longer resembled a “sorry for existing !!! also no worries if not :)))) thank you so much even if not!! :))” monologue) and he responded right back with $400 worth of uber gift cards, no questions asked

and im still just sitting here amazed at how being an assertive adult / asking for things with the mindset of “the worst u can hear is no” can benefit you (also i still have to get used to working for a big company bc before this i worked for a childcare company based out of our towns little church and we were expected to pay for so much out of pocket and this company is just like gift cards all around and it’s so different)

(so now i have moved on to being anxious abt the 1.5 hr uber ride and hoping the driver is okay with literally 0 small talk) (i have more rambling thoughts re: birthdays and family resentment and expectations but this is long enough so goodbye thank u if you read this 😌)

A = Admiration (what do they absolutely adore about you?)

Your laugh. It’s his favorite sound. It usually means that you’re happy so that’s all he could ask for. Oh if he’s the reason why you’re laughing? He’ll be over the moon even if it means he made a fool of himself.

B = Body (what is their favorite part of your body?)

Your hands. He really likes to hold them. I won’t really go in-depth here since it’s below but yeah.

C = Cuddling (how do they like to cuddle?)

Spooning!!!! Armin loves spooning. He doesn’t care if you want him to be the big or little spoon. He just wants to be close to you. If he’s reading he’ll let you koala hug him. His arm would be around your waist, not too tight but tight enough to know he’s got you.

D = Dates (what does their ideal date with you look like?)

Don’t let this man fool you. He is sneaky. His dates are usually fairly simple but he just makes them feel extravagant. One time he took you to an apple orchard so you two could pick some. He also threw in a cute picnic at the end.

E = Emotions (how do they express emotion around you?)

Pretty open. Communication is rather important to him so he doesn’t necessarily hide things from you. Armin loves how you indulge in his many questions of the universe even if you don’t understand. Though it takes a while for him to voice his insecurities to you that’s okay.

F = Family (do they want one? If they do, when?)

Oh most definitely. It’s something he thinks about often. Having both of your kids running around laughing makes his heart clench. He would never force you to though! It’s a mutual agreement so whenever you’re ready he’s ready.

G = Gifts (how do they feel about gift giving? What are their habits when it comes to this?)

He doesn’t really like material things. He will 100% give you small gifts from time to time but he’ll never go far out. He does that with his dates😌. If you give him a gift he’ll cherish it like it’s his life line. Oh and if he breaks it? He will ✨ s h a t t e r ✨ He feels like he’s betrayed you. Has definitely came to you on the brick of tears because he broke his gift.

H = Holding Hands (when/how do they like to hold hands?)

Absolutely loves holding your hands. It’s a small reminder that you’re there. Whenever you catch him being nervous or lost in his thoughts you’ll grab his hand and kiss his knuckles. It always catches him off guard but he loves it nonetheless.

I = Injury (how would they act if you got hurt?)

Panic Mode: Activated. He’ll say something along the lines “I told you to be careful” while bandaging you up. He’s not upset with you. It’s mostly toward himself for not being able to stop it. If he gets really quiet while treating you it means he’s lost in his thoughts. Cup his face and kiss his head. Tell him it’s not his fault, please.

J = Jokes (do they like to joke around with or prank you?)

Prank wise? Not really. I mean he’s made you jump before but that’s about it. However you two have a lot of inside jokes. If he’s across the room all you have to do is look at him. Now everyone is wondering why you two are on the brick of tears from holding in laughter.

K = Kisses (how do they like to kiss you?)

He loves it when you peck his lips randomly. They always make him smile. He usually comes up from behind you and kisses your neck. There’s no sexual meaning behind it. When it’s early in the morning he’ll come up behind you whispering a soft good morning after the kiss. You two usually stay like that until the both of you really need to leave the house to not be late.

L = Love (how do they show they love you?)

WORDS OF AFFIRMATION!!!!! He may not be a ‘smooth’ talker like Jean but this man just knows what to say at the right time. He isn’t one for material things but if he sees something at the store that reminds him of you then he’ll buy it. Acts of service is also really high up there. He’ll make you a cup of coffee (or whatever you drink in the morning). He’ll clean up your room a little if you were in a hurry the morning before. He’ll even water your plants if you have any. He just wants to make your day easier.

M = Memory (favorite memory together?)

Armin had planned yet another date. He took you to the beach thinking it would be a good way for the both of you to relax. Deciding walking the beach was a good way to end your day. Hand in hand, you two talked about all the parts of the trip you liked. You asked Armin to take a picture of you and of course, you agreed. To say he was breathless was an understatement. You looked absolutely stunning, the sun hitting you just right. It’s now his wallpaper.

N = Nightmare (when is their worst fear?)

You falling out of love. Armin knows that he’s not the most attractive person or the strongest. He understands if you get bored of him eventually. You’re the main reason why he’s happy so he would be absolutely crushed if you left him because of that. His insecurities can get the best of him sometimes so please show him you would never do that.

O = Oddity (what is one quirk they have?)

He leaves his mugs around the house. He doesn’t do it intentionally. It’s just that he has so much on his mind he just forgets about it. If it really irks you he’ll make it a priority.

P = Pet Names (what do they like to call you?)

Usually uses babe. It’s just quick and simple. He’ll occasionally uses sweetheart or love. Whenever he does you can feel your heart clench. Remember when I mentioned him wrapping his arms around you? Him saying “good morning love” never fails to make your heart skip a beat.

Q = Quality Time (how do they like to spend time with you?)

Whenever you two are home your usually around each other. Armin’s favorite activity to do with you is cooking though. He loves the domestic feeling it gives him. And if the food turns out terrible? Take-out is always an option. He also really loves cleaning with you. It’s always a fun task and it feels like it goes faster when he does it wiht you. Also really likes your playlist.

R = Rhythm (what song reminds you of them?)

We’re skipping this cause I honestly have no idea what to put right here so it’s up to you :D

S = Secrets (how open are they with you?)

Honestly pretty open. Believes communication is key to a relationship so he usually vents to you further on in the relationship.

T = Time (how long did it take you to get together?)

He knew he liked you but was nervous. He didn’t know if you liked him back, let alone accept his confession. This could have gone one of two ways. He works up the guts to ask you on a date and then you go from there. Eren gets tired of Armin chickening out and tells you himself.

U = Upset (how do they act when you’re upset?)

To be honest he probably noticed you were upset before you did. He’s just observant like that. He wouldn’t just bluntly ask what’s wrong. No no, instead he brings you some tea and a small snack to distract you from whatever is bothering you. If the situation gets to the point where you’re crying he’ll pull you into his lap letting you cry it out. Once the tears have dried he’ll ask what’s wrong to try and find a solution to the problem.

V = Vaunt (what are they proud of? Do they like to show you off?)

Oh, he’s definitely proud of you but he wouldn’t just parade around bragging about you. He does it subtly. If something comes up then he’ll mention whatever you did. Sometimes he does it without even realizing it until Eren mentioned it.

W = Warrior (how do they feel about you fighting?)

He knows you’re strong and can probably handle yourself but that does nothing to reassure him. He’ll always be worried about you. He’ll always prioritize you over him so there have been some times where he has risked his life for you.

X = X-Ray (how well are they able to read you?)

Armin reads you like it’s his job. As mentioned before, he knows when you’re upset before you do. He also knows things that trigger certain emotions in you. Someone made a joke about you and it hit a little deeper than usual? He’s already prepared on how to make you feel better. Oh an assignment is making you stressed? “Let’s take a break and I’ll explain it to you after, yeah?” He’s also down to give you advice about things you’re concerned about.

Y = Yes (how would they propose to you?)

He’s about to make this special. Now Armin has planned amazing dates as mentioned before but this was going to be different. This was going to be magical. He woke up early to make you breakfast in bed. Then he’ll have you get dressed and take you to all the places in town you want to go. By now you’re suspecting something is up but kind of let it slide. Towards the afternoon you meet up with Eren and Mikasa at a strawberry patch. (this is definitely not based on ryan bergara proposing to his girlfriend) You’re going along through the rows when Armin called out to you. “Y/N, you are the love of my life. You’ve seen all my insecerites but continued to stay and I will forever be grateful for that. I want to remain with you now and forever so…” Armin got down on one knee pulling out a small black box. You look over at Eren and Mikasa to see them recording. “Will you marry me?” Smiling you nod your head letting him slip the ring on your finger.

Z = Zen (what makes them feel calm?)

You sleeping beside or in his arms. Just seeing your calm face and hearing your soft breathing just makes him extremely calm. Armin thanks whatever deity that gave him a blessing like you.
