tell me why i just spent the last ten days working on a short story to submit to an anthology only to find out half an hour ago that the publishing press just went through an enormous controversy and. shut down completely

oc works priority list methinks is as follows: -finish copying tge into scrivener (+edit to quality again) -fix up minor so screenplay central is DONE ((until i give into tge lullaby but i think that can simmer a while longer)) -main novel is always Active and i want nothing more than to devote all my time 2 it but rly screenplay needs to get handled first -black swan anthology keeps haunting my neurons but i think that's a fun side gig during novel writing (german) to work my way thru evernote pieces (english) and slowly edit it into shape -mute city heaven continues to metastasize on the backburner but 1) its a nano story and i will be in japan this nano so no game 2) needs intense aes detanglement aka A BOARD which again. marks it for when i have the brainspace for it aka next year -WEEBLY MY BELOVED I WILL GET BACK TO U ASAP BUT I HAVE TO RATION MY WRIST USAGE :(

#I started with Black Widow comics with her first self-titled series #not realizing that she had had some earlier solo stories within anthology books #it stands out that the 1999 and 2001 books were both about Natasha teaching a lesson to Yelena about their line of work #in 1999 she was initially trying to dissuade Yelena from spywork #saying that it was not an enviable life being the dispassionate creature that governments required for their work #and that those same governments can and will stab you in the back for it #but having accepted that she's committed #in 2001 she arranges horrible events for Yelena to reinforce that idea that spies were only tools to be used #saying that that was necessary because Yelena's naivety was going to get her killed #here for Natasha it is being reinforced that she has no choice but to accept what she's told during her line of work of spywork #and the ending of the story is also about having to accept that everyone in their line of work is expendable #and in this story Natasha's loyalties between Russia and the U.S. are called into question #which was prominent in the 1999 book #marvel #natasha romanoff #my posts #comic panels

#maaaaan. my ✨urge of the hour✨ is to make yet another blog thing for non-hw stuff #the reason for that? i read the deco27 mannequin anthology and now i reallyyyy wanna tl the cinderella and parasite chapters #those two chapters are about the story in the mvs!! cinderella’s was kinda wholesome. parasite’s was n o t—#in cinderella’s: cindy miku (named ‘satsuki’) and her class put on a cinderella play for the school fes or sth #her crush (some dude named hino) was the prince while she was the costume designer. things happen till the end of the fes bc ofc they do #they dance together at the end of said fes，satsuki loses her glasses，hino goes ‘omg you’re q. cute without your glasses’#…and ofc satsuki gets embarrassed and runs away (without said glasses lmao). very shoujo manga-esque. very cute #but in parasite. lol. it stars miku and this ex bf turned fwb dude(???) who apparently got a new gf?#and miku… stalks the dude’s social media to find the gf，turns up at her workplace，and convinces her to dump the bf #and then miku just happily accepts the dude once he was dumped. very unhealthy r/s dynamic i must say—#the rest of the stories in mannequin didn’t stand out as much though. but i think vampire miku’s a gamer girl(???)#(but tbh i don’t like vampire at all so i’m not touching that with a wooden stake whoooops)#maaaaaan why did i have to commit to making this a hw-exclusive blog(?) of sorts… ✨regrets✨#it is suiyoubi my dudes

Frog

The air is cool, the wind travels, from the east, filled with mountains, and life.

I step outside, to enjoy, the traveling, weather.

The wind brings with it, the scent of blossoms, and of an early harvest, sweet and tender.

I sit along the water, listening to its current, watching the water, swivel between the rocks.

I am joined, by a traveling creature, small and quick, sitting upon the wet stone.

"Run after me", said the frog, but I could not, for my legs were too tired.
