I promised to post the second huge post and here it is! Enjoy! 😋

All countries in this post are just stereotypical copies. I don't strive for realism. Only clichés and stereotypes.
Brief description of the idea:
An evil corporation kidnaps a scientist to recruit him into a willing slave. However, during the brainwashing, something goes wrong and the secretary hesitates. The kidnapped scientist is happy he was kidnapped and confess that he actually always dreamed of being hired to work for this evil corporation. The secretary takes a liking to the scientist and manages to convince the Leaders that the scientist is obedient enough and doesn't need to be brainwashed. The Leaders allows it and this becomes the beginning of the return of memory to the secretary...
The main character is the scientist, but the main action takes place with the secretary, who falls in love with the scientist and gradually regains his memory of his past life. This, of course, makes the leaders of the corporation angry and they are trying to prevent the main characters from being together. The senior Leader threatens the secretary, and the junior Leader bullies the scientist.
About Sea Serpents:
Sea Serpents are an evil corporation founded in Japan by two Ikuchi(long sticky fish snakes) demons. Nagai Sakana controls the most cruel and largest part of the company, and Aoi Sakana controls the part that has direct control over Japan.
The influence of the evil corporation extends to the whole world. Agents work in a wide variety of fields, including government agencies in many countries. 20 years ago, during the crisis in the USSR, Sea Serpents provided support and began close cooperation with the authorities of the USSR and their military forces. The slogan has spread in the country that Sea Serpents are friends and can be trusted. Most people believed that.
The USSR is not the only country to which the Sea Serpents provided support in order to introduce their agents into the government. But we are interested in the USSR, because Andrey is from there. Besides, the USSR is big. And the Cold War...

Andrey - Code: F-1678
29 year old, short, chubby man. Came to Japan from the USSR at the age of 22. Scientist in the field of robotic technology.
Andrey's family believed the propaganda. His father got a great job! The family's well-being has improved, but when Andrey was 4 years old, his father mysteriously died. The mother and the rest of the family started express strong doubts about the Sea Serpents, but this doesn't convince Andrey. Deceived by propaganda, he moved to Japan when he turned 22, to increase his chances of getting hired.

Hengry - Code: L-808
32 years old, tall, strong man. Doesn't remember his past life and real name. Works as Nagai Sakana's secretary.
Henry is not the real name of L-808. When Andrey asked what the real name of the secretary is, L-808 suggested that the scientist come up with one that he would like. And Andrey liked the name Henry.
He was incredibly surprised that Andrey dreamed of working for Sea Serpents all his life, because most people cries and resist, showing strong unwillingness to become slave.

BITCH— I mean, sassy, narcissistic abuser who sees humans only as his toys and test subjects. He is bulling Andrey for being chubby. (the real antagonist 😡 Andrey is pretty man 💞)
He flirts with Henry, but L-808 doesn't reciprocate... some sexual violence occurs 😭

Nagai Sakana — Ikuchi
A cruel, merciless fish-snake yokai(demon). The eldest of two brothers (hi, Aoi Sakana). Represents the role of the Leader in Sea Serpents, but allows Aoi Sakana too much to do, causing the lines between Kumichō (The founder) and Sosāi (The second head after the founder) to blur. Aoi Sakana has more influence on the Japan, but not global world.

HYDRA - Marvel. But I've never read a single comic book, I've never watched any movie, and I only found out about this company thanks to an AI bot. I read the information about it on funwiki, and I liked it so much that I created something separate, simplified, but still similar.

I raved about the film Perfect Days when I first saw it a few weeks ago:
I watched it again a few days ago - again for free because MUBI do a 7-day free trial, and I loved it even more the second time. One of the great things about the film is the soundtrack. It has lots of really good western '60s and '70s tracks by people like Patti Smith and Otis Reading, but it also has this Japanese track that I'd never heard before and I've fallen in love with - Aoi Sakana by Sanchiko Kanenobu:

Keeps warm in winter by pretending it's summer and feeling thankful that it's so breezy. She learned this from a manga.

Vowel Clusters
When two identical vowels [aa, ii, ee, uu, oo] are together, they are held for twice as long as normal.
Examples:
kado [corner] vs. kaado [card]
chizu [map] vs. chiizu [cheese]
su [nest] vs. suu [number]
beru [bell] vs. beeru [veil]
hoshi [star] vs. hooshi [service]
Whereas, if there are two different vowels together, they are each pronounced for the same length of time.
Examples:

Ei is an exception and is often pronounced as ee.

Light in the Attic to reissue mythical and mystical album from “Japan’s first female singer-songwriter,” Sachiko Kanenobu
The next time somebody attempts to argue that the Internet has been a wash or a net negative for the music industry overall, first: stare at them in silence for a deliberately creepy amount of time — and second: kindly point them to reissues of albums like Sachiko Kanenobu’s Misora, which few(er) people would be aware of absent the word of mouth that the World Wide Web so capably enables. The album was originally written, recorded, and released by the 18-year-old Kanenobu in 1972, and as if being sponsored by one of Japan’s first independent labels didn’t keep expectations low enough when it came to national or international publicity, the Osaka-born guitarist wasn’t especially enamored by the thought of being arguably the country’s first female singer-songwriter. She met and married music critic Paul Williams, emigrated to the United States, and reportedly left promotion up to the poor saps at Underground Record Club. Kanenobu got back into music after a period of stateside acclimating, but Misora (which roughly translates to “beautiful sky,” by the way), by virtue of being stylistically unique for the period/country when and where it was released, has garnered a reputation as a hidden gem. It’s received a number of reissues from Japan-based labels since 1995; and now, the Seattle-based Light in the Attic label will be reissuing a deluxe edition of Misora come June 21. It’ll feature audio remastered from the original analog tapes, and extensive liner notes will offer background on the delicacy that Kanenobu easily delivered way back when. All Japanese words can be written in hiragana, but usually a mixture of hiragana and kanji (logograms originally from China) are used. So the above would usually be written: “青い海、魚釣り”
It is often said that there are two writing systems which were invented in Japan - hiragana and katakana (also a syllabary). However, today the above may very well be written “🌊🎣”, so I would like to propose that there are in fact three writing systems which were invented in Japan.

It’s time for another news roundup! Below the read more is a compilation of some notable news stories that we haven’t previously posted about.
This month features LADYBABY’s new line-up, Maison Book Girl’s impending breakout in the UK, and a surprising amount of graduations for our shortest month of the year.
AKB48
With TPE48 confirming its 1st generation members, it has been announced that Abe Maria will be joining the new Stage 48 group, along with 44 other members three others who are also Japanese. [x]
Aoi Eir
After more then a year haitus the singer has returned. She released the music video for “Yakusoku” on February 8th, and her website location has moved. More detailed will be released later. [x]
BiSH
AiNA and Chittiii collaborated with Marty Friedman on a new song and it is now on US iTunes! It’s called “Wasted Tears”.
FES☆TIVE
3 members have announced their plans to graduate from the group on March 25th. Sakamoto Yuna, Suzuki Kotone, and Suzuki Mitsuki will be leaving. An official explanation for them leaving has not been forthcoming. [x] The remaining member will continue to perform as a 5-nin until April, when 3 new members will join. [x*]
Harajuku Ekimae Stage Parties
Haraeki Stage A, the stage’s resident dance group, is down to 4 members. Someno Rina and Irie Hinata have cancelled their contracts with the company for unspecified reasons.[x*] Meanwhile, Harajuku Otome, the model group, has been given new life. 3 more members of the trainee program NEXT have joined this group. The new members are Inoue Yuumi, Kajikawa Manami, and Tokuda Kokone. [x*]
Kajiura Yuki
Kajiura has decided to leave Space Craft Produce after 25 years with that agency. She is a musician and composer with heavy ties to anime, and created the group Kalafina. Kalafina will continue as a group without Kajiura. [x]
LADYBABY
The new members of the twice-revitalized LADYBABY have been announced. Karasawa Fuka, Ikeda Nana, and Arima Emily will make their first appearance on March 4. They will, of course, be joining Rie Kaneko, the last remaining member of the original LADYBABY. [x]
Maison Book Girl
A label from the United Kingdom has named Maison Book Girl as their first sign-on in an initiative to bring more Jpop to the Western music scene. MBG’s new single will be available on vinyl in the UK through Read The Air Records in May. [x]
Morning Musume
For the first time in 15 years, Morning Musume has topped Oricon charts. First generation members Yuko Nakazawa, Kaori Iida, Aya Ishiguro, Natsumi Abe, and Asuka Fukuda all joined in the promotions appearing on covers, and MV’s. [x]
Nogizaka46
Kawamura Mahiro has announced her graduation from the group. She has mentioned looking forward to a fresh start after graduation, but hasn’t stated a specific reason for leaving. Her graduation will take place on March 31st. [x]
Riho Iida
She has transferred to NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan from Tokuma Japan Communications. [x]
Sora Tob Sakana
They will be having their major label debut on May 16th of this year with Warner Bros Japan. [x]
SUPER☆GiRLS
2 members of the Idol Street group have announced graduation. Tanaka Mirei will graduate on March 31st. Shimura Rika will be graduating June 24th. Both have been members for 8 years. [x]
