I’m curious, what’s y’all’s favorite “operator lore integrated with/paralleling their gameplay” thing, I’ll go first:

Ever think about that part in Lingering Echoes when Czerny tutors Ebonholz and they discover that, while Ebon can perform all the complicated and fancy parts of a piece perfectly with every flourish imaginable, he struggles with the basics, and just kinda rushes through the simpler parts? As a musician he was taught irresponsibly, and now both he and Czerny struggle making up for these shortcomings.

Ever think about how, as an caster in gameplay, Ebon is capable of the spitting out the single biggest damage numbers you can get from Arts, but also struggles a lot with something as simple as a steady stream of weak enemies. For boss killing, he’s the best caster we have (within top 3 at least), but his shortcomings make general content such a struggle that nearly any other caster can do the job better, leading many to think he was Just Bad for a long time.
