favorite musicians: ...honestly, I don’t really have any - I tend to like specific songs as opposed to particular artists... I guess I quite like Meatloaf, as I have a few of his songs on my playlist?

last movie i watched: DESTINATION WEDDING (with my friend Dave - he’s a big big big Winona Ryder fan, so we picked it last time we were Netflix-ing and it was actually lots of fun!)

last show i watched: @castiel-saved-me-from-myself - snap! also THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY 

favorite oc: dang that’s an interesting one, cos I don’t have that many OCs in my fic (aside from randoms like ‘Unnamed bus driver’ or ‘Demon #4′ or whatever, you know?)... when I was first getting into fic via Smallville I created a bunch of metahuman characters to be part of Lex’s secret 33.1 thing, one of whom was a blantent self-insert while several others were characters either based on or created by my uni friends at the time - one of the latter was a girl who’d been turned into a human-raptor hybrid and I was always kinda fond of her :p (technically not MY oc therefore, but it’s the best I’ve got since I literally cannot think of ANY ocs in my fic since then!)

sweet, spicy, or savory: gonna be cheeky here and say SWEET & SAVORY, cos I’m currently a little obsessed with mixing the two (like salted caramel, bacon and maple syrup, that kind of thing)

bubbly water, tea, or coffee: in an absolutely crazy turn of events, after spending my whole life up until this point drinking none of these, the answer is now COFFEE (!) - lockdown changed me man... :P

Reason for my url: A mix of attempting to use name generators coupled with my love for the moon and witchy aesthetics. 

Following: 1318 blogs; I have been on this god forsaken site for literal years with the same main account it’s difficult to purge more than one thousand blogs.

Average sleep: 4-6 hours

Lucky number: 7 is my favourite number but I don’t know about lucky. 

Currently wearing: a Hello Kitty pyjama dress (shut up) 

Dream job: Professional illustrator or comic artist? I once wanted to be a florist when I was younger then found out I was extremely sensitive to pollen because my nose is a piece of shit. Crime appeals to me (as in solving crime not committing it) but I am too weak hearted to do anything like that. These days I’ve tossed around the idea of maybe tattooing?? Not sure though. I’m already pretty deep into my ongoing career and I’m scared to leave. 

Favorite food: Sichuan cuisine, Korean cuisine and Thai cuisine. Bonus for my local Singaporean cuisine and country neighbour Malaysian cuisine. 

Favorite song: NOOOO i don’t know I have literally so many. I’d say what I currently have on loop; Give me your fire, give me your rain by the Paper Kites, Amen by Amber Run, Another Story by The Head and The Heart. 

Instruments: Piano up to the musical 7th grade. Stopped at 19, so I’m incredibly rusty now (I can no longer play JS Bach) though i still have the muscle memory and can still sight read notes easily.  Tattoos?: 2 ‘matching’ ones by different tattooists, sun with some space elements on my left wrist done in Melbourne, moon and rocks on my right wrist done in Saigon. I love them very much.

are you staying home from school/work?

unfortunately so, which means that i have effectively finished high school since this was my last year anyways. exams have also been cancelled so i don’t have an excuse to go back to school and say a proper goodbye unless i’m returning textbooks lmao

are you a homebody?

i mean... not really. i prefer staying in to going out most of the time, but i liked having the freedom to choose what i want to do, so being restricted to just going for a walk around my tiny village is annoying lmao. but i know it keeps people safe so i’ll get over it.

any event you were looking forward to that got cancelled?

a muck up day at school on our last day (quarantine was imposed 2 weeks before we were due to break off from school for the easter holidays, and then we’d have been on study leave and then sitting exams, so the muck up day was meant to be a nice send off for our last day. it obviously didn’t happen, but we wore our own clothes instead of uniform, took pictures, ate cake etc, so it wasn’t terrible, but it could have been better). we haven’t heard anything about prom yet, but i think it might get cancelled. who knows.

what movies have you been watching recently?

i made a whole list of movies i’ve put off watching due to school, and i’m slowly (very slowly) making my way through it. so far i’ve only watched one, dunkirk, and i really enjoyed it. i plan to watch minority report next.

what are you doing for self care?

trying to remind myself that i don’t have to do things like school work to be productive. also drinking a lot of tea.

what shows are you watching?

currently - a lot. i watched a lot of tv before the quarantine happened anyways, but my favourites right now are minority report (the tv show, not the film), criminal minds and cbs s.w.a.t. typing that out i’ve really noticed a pattern with the amount of crime drama shows i watch. dare i say future criminology student?? oh we also watched the first ep of tiger king, and i think we’re in for a wiiiiiiild ride.

what music have you been listening to?

pretty much everything i used to - a big variety. mostly consisting of linkin park, green day, american idiot the musical (yes, because of stark sands) and a lot of other artists i can’t think of off the top of my head.

what books are you reading?

currently trying to finish generation kill by evan wright, and then start one bullet away by nate fick. also reading a lot of band of brothers/generation kill fanfic - quarantine really is bringing out the hbo war stan in me oops.

what games are you playing?

i mean.. if card games, kahoots and those games you get on house party count as games then i’ve been playing those with my friends/family a lot lmao. in terms of video games i don’t even have a console - i’m not a big fan of playing video games anyways, i prefer to watch lets plays of people playing them. i really love detroit: become human though! my favourite playthrough is jacksepticeye’s because he gets the best route and then he goes back and gets the worst possible endings, it’s great.

Okay, I’m going to ignore the no skipping rule and instead institute a “one song per artist” rule because a) I do what I want and b) otherwise you’re just going to get my jpop boybands since their discographies are so long! For the record I’m going with what’s on my ipod (and yes, I carry all of Arashi and Kanjani8 everywhere, lmao). I’m also going to talk about them ‘cause I get bored unless I can give commentary. :D

Desire - Shibutani Subaru/Yasuda Shota (from Kanjani8) [END ME, I’m the biggest stan for this duet! There’s something lounge-y about this song that I feel like not everyone would like but the pure vocal chemistry. I know no one is going to click on these but I’m linking the performance from SCP because it’s the best.]

Lucky Man - Arashi [hahaha, OKAY for my one allotted Arashi slot and we’ve really gone for it!! The video is, like, trying to be the most intensely early 00s it can be. If you can deal with the disco influence and lyrics that include “super boyz”, this song is such a bop. :D One of my faves in concert bc the call and response/audience furi is so fun and everyone gets so hyped for Ohno’s dramatic belt-y part.]

Um yes, pretty accurate. My entire collection is basically: jpop, songs/bands I know from soundtracks/fanmixes, a whole mess of chill indie. I’m not one of those people who claims to have a wide and varied taste. :D I get into certain grooves and listen the crap out of them.
