Nach der Länderspielpause geht es gegen Rapid
Nach den – wenig erfolgreichen – Qualifikationsspielen des Nationalteams hat uns nun der Bundesliga-Alltag wieder. Die kommende Runde beginnt für den FC Red Bull Salzburg mit dem Heimspiel gegen den SK Rapid Wien.
Durchwachsen
In den letzten Runden hat der SK Rapid Wien alle Arten von Ergebnissen „erspielt“. 2 Niederlagen, 2 Unentschieden und 2 Siege. Der Unmut in Hütteldorf ist groß. Das letzte Spiel – in Wien gegen den LASK – konnten die Vorstädter knapp mit 1:0 für sich entscheiden. Schlagzeilen machen die Wiener in dieser Saison nur wegen der Probleme mit manchen Fans, die dem Verein schon einiges an Geld gekostet haben. Mit 8 Punkten und einem Torverhältnis von +1 stehen die Wiener aktuell am 6. Tabellenplatz.
Geht die Serie weiter?
Seit 8 Spielen – Cup inklusive – ist der FC Red Bull Salzburg im Duell mit Rapid ungeschlagen. Die letzte Niederlage mussten die Salzburger am 1.8.2015 hinnehmen, als Rapid in der Salzburger Arena mit 1:2 vom Platz ging. Ob die Salzburger diese tolle Serie prolongieren können, wird der kommende Sonntag zeigen.
Medienberichten zufolge fehlen bei Rapid Tamás Szántó (Leistenbruch), Philipp Malicsek (Muskelriss) und Christopher Dibon (Hüftprobleme).

Den FC Red Bull Salzburg plagen wieder einmal Verletzungssorgen. Reinhold Yabo (Jochbeinbruch), David Atanga (Fußverletzung), Stefan Stangl (Muskelzerrung), Samuel Tetteh (Meniskusverletzung), Marin Pongracic (Adduktorenverletzung), Takumi Minamino (Innenbandanriss) und Marc Rzatkowski (Zehenbruch) fehlen beim #Serienmeister. Rookie Hannes Wolf laboriert aktuell an einem Muskelfaserriss. Trotzdem hat der Kader des Doublesiegers genug Qualität, um die „Hürde Rapid“ zu meistern.
Konzentration ist jedenfalls gefragt. Und die Chancen, die man sich erarbeitet, müssen in „Zählbares“ umgewandelt werden. Das Heimspiel gegen Rapid wird – auch bedingt durch die Ausfälle – kein Spaziergang werden, doch wir sind der festen Überzeugung, dass den Salzburgern der „Dreier“ gelingen kann und wird.
