How Does Admission to Best CBSE School in Kolkata Make A Difference?
Successful careers are built upon true education. Schools are not industries for producing assembly lines of marks earning students. Marks earned in examinations are of little importance. The lines may look like coming straight from some blockbuster Bollywood movies but  in the current scenario, we need youngsters who can think out-of-the-box and solve real life problems.
While choosing the right school for their children, parents often wonder about the factors to consider and/or to ignore. At first, they should decide upon the board of education to choose. ICSE, CBSE and State Boards have their own benefits.
Since a city like Kolkata doesn’t have a dearth of ICSE/CBSE or State Board schools, selection becomes all the more difficult. Here in this article, we’ll discuss how can admission to best CBSE school in Kolkata shape the future of your child.
Tumblr media
Salient features of top schools affiliated to CBSE
Let's first evaluate the benefit of the board of education i.e. CBSE. The     syllabus of ICSE and CBSE boards differ in extent and approach. The latter has an important advantage over the former. The syllabus of joint entrance tests are framed around HS syllabus of CBSE. This significantly reduces the workload of students.
While they prepare for their HS exams, they don’t have to separately prepare for joint entrance tests. For example, the syllabus of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) is based on the HS syllabus of CBSE. Students who aspire to study MBBS and BDS courses must successfully crack NEET.
Since thousands of meritorious students compete to reserve seats in top     government or private medical colleges in India, it is difficult to crack     this entrance test. Hence, most students enrol for extra classes at     medical coaching centres. While they prepare for medical entrance exams, they automatically get ready for their board exams.
The priority of true education is to help students enhance their innate     capacities, develop the power of imagination, become inquisitive, and     search for answers. True education connects students to real life problems and find their solutions. Unnecessary expansion of syllabus is of no use. The syllabus of CBSE is of an average length and much scientifically arranged.
Next we come to succinct NCERT books followed by CBSE schools. Not a single word is included without a reason. According to educationists, NCERT books are one of the best academic resources followed by CBSE schools.
Pedagogy or the method(s) of teaching has come a great distance. Research works conducted in pedagogy have enriched it a lot. The methods which were followed decades ago are now redundant. CBSE has adopted a unique way to incorporate new methods of pedagogy. It has used NCERT books in this regard.
Chapters included in NCERT books are comprised of mini-projects. Teachers are expected to distribute students among groups, entrust them with tasks, provide them with all possible help whenever required, and let them complete the tasks successfully.
When parents enrol their child to the best CBSE school in Kolkata, they help the latter build opportunities for themselves. Schools can really make a lot of difference to the future of a child. Parents should make informed decisions.
