EN  Hi everyone!  I had taken the night train from Hamburg Hbf to Zürich HB via Bremen, Basel Badischer Bahnhof and Baden in Aargau.  I arrived too early to check in at the hostel in Mutschellenstrasse, so I went to Bern for a few hours and returned to check in.  

DE  Hallo allerseits! Ich war mit dem Nachtzug von Hamburg Hbf über Bremen, Basel Badischer Bahnhof und Baden im Aargau nach Zürich HB gefahren. Ich kam zu früh an, um im Hostel an der Mutschellenstrasse einzuchecken, also fuhr ich für ein paar Stunden nach Bern und kehrte zum Einchecken zurück.

Je suis arrivé trop tôt pour m'enregistrer à l'auberge de Mutschellenstrasse, alors je suis allé à Berne pendant quelques heures et je suis revenu m'enregistrer.  

Guten Morgen!  Good morning! About 7 AM I woke up in my first class train compartment on the EuroNight train from Hamburg Hbf to Zürich HB.  The train staff gave my passport back and then served me breakfast, about the same as what I would expect to receive on an inbound transatlantic flight, namely pastries, yogurt and coffee, and I do not remember if a hard boiled egg were included.  The train stopped at Baden AG (I would stay at the youth hostel near Wettingen, the following August), before proceeding through Spreitenbach, Dietikon and Schlieren before terminating at Zürich HB, which at the time, did not have its Löwenstrasse underground station built, so it had to stop at the head-station platforms.  I exited the train, withdrew some Swiss Francs, took my wheeled bag, put it in an old locker that still took coins, and left it there for the morning.  It was only 8 AM and it was too soon to check into the youth hostel, it started accepting travellers about 2 PM.

I looked for a train that went to Bern, as I wanted to see the Zytglogge, Bundeshaus and SNB buildings there.  The train I found, a "Dosto" SBB train, was a direct train to Bern.  I had my first class ticket, valid in all of Switzerland until the 19th November, so I went to Bern, and arrived in about one hour.  I think somewhere between Lyssach and Burgdorf, there was a new rail tunnel constructed, and the train went about 120 km/h or 75 mph through it.  Eventually the signals would be recalibrated so that a journey from Zürich to Bern would take only 45 minutes.

Around 9:15 AM, I arrived at Bern SBB station.  I bought a day pass for around 7 CHF, for unlimited local transport.  I took the tram to Zytglogge where I saw the astrological clock.  There is another similar clock close to the Bundeshaus.  I walked to the Bundeshaus.  The SNB building is almost next door.  I did not go inside the Bundeshaus, but I did go to the terrace, and was able to see the Berner Oberland mountains, including the Matterhorn.  It looked like it had a nice coating of snow.  I decided the next day to go to Brig, and come back through Geneva.

I went back to the tram stop, Bundesplatz, and took a tram in the direction of Muri.  I just wanted to see what it looked like.  Somehow I was interested in the traffic signal setups, they looked like they dated back to the 1970s as I remember from my first couple of visits to Zürich and Glarus.  I took the tram back to Bern SBB.  I think it was close to 11 AM, so I took the train back to Zürich HB.  I may have returned there by 11:45 AM, almost lunchtime.  I took the S Bahn to the Migros close to the Stadelhofen train station.  Stadelhofen is one of the many structures designed by Santiago Calatrava.  I remember in Dallas he designed a vehicle bridge across the Trinity River.  I bought some food and drink, and then took the S-18, not a regular S-Bahn train line, but one that used meter gauge and the Zürich tram electricity, namely 750 volts DC.  I took the S-18 to Maiacher, where, on 10th September 2000, I did a bit of yodeling.  Sadly I did not have an Alpenhorn to go with that.  Maiacher was still the same underground station that I remembered from back then, was not refurbished until the late 2000s.  I went back again in February 2012 and it looked much nicer, with a decent color scheme.  I exited the station, to eat my lunch.  

About 1:30 PM, I returned to Zürich HB, collected my luggage and took the tram line 7 to Morgental, passing by the Enge commuter rail station.  Then I transferred to the trolleybus line 33, and rode it one stop to the Youth Hostel stop which was next to a Migros florist.  I walked to the hostel and arrived about ten to fifteen minutes later.  There was much construction going on at the hostel since early 2001.  The former entrance and the breakfast room had been swapped as a result of the renovation.  I was given a bed in a four bed room.  The room had a sink, but the toilet and shower was in a large room on the floor.  

I left the hostel around 3 PM.  I took the trolleybus from the hostel stop to Morgental, changed to the line 7, and went to HB.  I walked along the Niederdorferstrasse doing a bit of window shopping.  I had dinner at the Brasserie Johanniter.  I had a full liter of Hürlimann beer, and Spätzle with ham, onion and cheese.  It was very good.  

After supper, I went back to the hostel.  At the time, I did not have my own laptop computer, let alone even a smartphone (a Siemens S40 triband does not count), so I had to use the internet terminals at the hostel for a reasonable fee.  I needed to find out, what were the schedules for tomorrow's train journey, to Brig, Sion, St. Maurice, Geneva, Frauenfeld TG and back.  I had to go to sleep soon, and be ready to wake up for breakfast which would be served starting 6 AM.  

Please join me for tomorrow's journey to Brig through the Lötschberg tunnel, then to Sion, St. Maurice and Geneva, and also to Frauenfeld, the cantonal capital of Thurgau.  The weather will be fairly nice for spotting the southern side of the Berner Oberland.

The tri-national S-Bahn of Basel

Due to its location, Basel attracts people from three countries, and the rail network reflects that. On top of lines within Switzerland, one line arrives from France at Basel Central station, and several arrive from Germany at the Badischer Bahnhof on the North side of the Rhine. My trip to Augst via Basel and Wyhlen was a chance to ride on this suburban network of three companies in three countries.

Starting after lunch with the Hochrheinbahn which runs from Basel Bad., along the Northern side of the Rhine in Germany. This is the only line out of Basel that isn't electrified, so Baureihe 641 Diesel railcars run the route. We have this type of railcar in France too, it was designed as a response to a joint French-German tender for regional trains. Designed by De Dietrich and Linke-Hofmann-Busch, which were both bought by Alstom shortly after, it is the first example of what would become the Coradia platform.

On the Swiss side, the S-Bahn sees RABe 521 commuter trains run between Basel Central and Frick. This type of train is made by the Swiss company Stadler and is marketed as... the FLIRT. Stadler does this a lot, they also have the KISS and SMILE platforms, and each is the result of a convoluted acronym in German, though this one translated very nicely into English: Fast Light Intercity and Regional Train.

Finally, the French line of the S-Bahn goes out as far as Mulhouse, and is currently operated by electric AGC (Automotrice Grande Capacité - high-capacity unit) regional trains built by Bombardier (also since bought out by Alstom). 200 km/h express trains from Strasbourg also reach Basel Central, with the push-pull sets we already presented. The line from Mulhouse to Basel Central is electrified with French voltage (25 kV 50 Hz AC), which is different to the rest of the Swiss network (15 kV 16.7 Hz AC), hence the SNCF can run their trains into Basel with few adaptations (mainly comms).

And that's it for my tri-national tri-trip over the April-May break! Back to some older material next, it's time to look at Japan again.

Günstig Zum Europa-Park Im Winter 2019

Der Holiday Park im pfälzischen Haßloch ist ein etwas kleinerer Park, dessen Attraktionen jedoch alle für Aufsehen

sorgen. Im Berufungsprozess um den Tod eines Mädchens im Holiday Park im pfälzischen Haßloch bleiben die beiden

Angeklagten straffrei. Der Freizeitpark in Haßloch bietet für Ticket-Bestellungen im offiziellen Online-Ticket-Shop

regelmäßig Promotion-Codes an, mit denen satte Rabatte möglich sind. Der Holiday Park im rheinland-pfälzischen

Haßloch ist mit einer Fläche von 40 Hektar ein vergleichsweise kleiner Freizeitpark in Deutschland. Es war die

bislang größte Investition der belgischen Plopsa-Gruppe, die den Holiday Park 2010 übernommen hat. Das Nieder­

schlags­risiko beträgt in Holiday Park dann 10%. Es sind in 2 Tagen etwa 0 l/m² Nieder­schlag zu erwarten. Die Zeit

im Park habe sie misstrauisch gemacht, »ich habe einfach gern meine Ruhe.« Alle Bilder vom Holiday Park hat sie

weggeworfen und den Park nie mehr betreten. »Ich kriege nicht so oft Besuch«, sagt sie. »Ich habe mich so unfrei

gefühlt. In der Nähe fahren vom Karlsruher Hauptbahnhof Direktzüge nach Basel und München, und über die leicht

erreichbaren Autobahnen A5 und A8 gelangen Sie nach Frankfurt und Stuttgart. Holiday Park - ganz in Deiner Nähe !

Baubeginn auf einem derzeit freien Gelände in der Nähe des „Majalands“ soll Anfang November, unmittelbar nach dem

Ende der Saison 2017, sein.

Reisen Sie schnell, preiswert und umweltfreundlich zu uns und genießen Sie Ihre Reise von Anfang an. Anfang der

Neunzigerjahre gab es eine Protestaktion: Aktivisten hatten Transparente in den Park geschmuggelt und bei einer

Show ausgerollt. Aber die Liliputaner-Stadt gab es bis Mitte der Neunzigerjahre. Die Liliputaner-Stadt ist Teil

einer Tradition, die Kleinwüchsigen seit Jahrhunderten weismacht, dass die Gesellschaft für sie nur eine Rolle

vorsieht: die des exotischen Entertainers - als Hofnarr, im Zirkus oder als Witzfigur im Fernsehen. Unter

Beobachtung standen die Kleinwüchsigen aber nicht nur in ihren Wohnwagen: Sie wurden fotografiert und bedrängt, wo

auch immer sie im Park unterwegs waren. Der Holiday Park liegt genauso wie der Eifelpark bei Gondorf und

Walygatorparc bei Amnéville im Umkreis von nicht mehr als eineinhalb Autostunden rund um Saarbrücken. Im Holiday

Park, einer Art pfälzischem Disneyland in Hassloch bei Ludwigshafen, wurde sie Liliputanerin genannt. In den

Folgejahren verwaiste der Park, Diebe gruben Kupferkabel aus und klauten andere noch wertvolle Gegenstände. Danach

geht es weiter über Oberbaumbrücke, Treptower Park, entlang des Spreeufers über die Elsenbrücke zurück ins Hotel.

Sie würde dort auch nicht viel wiedererkennen: Der Holiday Park, mittlerweile einer der größten Freizeitparks

Deutschlands, wurde von der Gründerfamilie vor drei Jahren an einen belgischen Unterhaltungskonzern verkauft, der

mehrere Freizeitparks in Europa betreibt. Wolfgang Schneider, der ehemalige Chef, ist nach dem Verkauf in die

Schweiz gezogen, sagen die neuen Besitzer des Holiday Parks, Adresse unbekannt.

Der Zugang erfolgt von außerhalb des Parks, um eine unabhängige Nutzung zu ermöglichen. Gerade einmal fünf Wochen

ist es her, da wurde Legoland noch jedem einzelnen Klötzchen-Fan angeboten. Ist also zu vermuten, dass auch das

Legoland in Dänemark oder der Europapark in Baden-Württemberg ausländischen Gästen mehr Geld abknöpfen als

Hassloch. Zwischen dem Bahnhof und dem Haupteingang des Parks verkehrt mehrmals täglich der Südbadenbus (SBG).

Stelle, an der heute das große Portal am Haupteingang ist. Das Gelände ist in fünf große Themenbereiche gegliedert:

Maschinenzeitalter mit den rasanten Attraktionen, die Gran Avenida mit Shows und Attraktionen, Naturbereich,

Parkanlagen nur auf das eine Thema abgestimmt. Ganz oben in der Spitze sitzt Theo Zwanziger, dessen Hand er nun auf

der Gästetribüne schüttelte. Dr. Zwanziger, Leiter der deutschen Delegation in Südafrika, war zwischen Englandspiel

Studio 100 Media GmbH - Plopsa ist die Themenparksparte dieses Unternehmens - die Rechte besitzt: „Heidi“,

„Tabaluga“ sowie „Mia & me“. Mit 21.300 Besuchern wurde am 31. Oktober 2017 ein neuer Rekord seit der Übernahme

durch Plopsa aufgestellt. Französische Besucher profitierten bei Disneyland Paris nicht nur von günstigeren

Preisen, sondern auch von anderen geldwerten Vorteilen wie speziellen Familienrabatten oder Jahrestickets.

stand hinter den Kulissen, ohne Scheibe, ohne Publikum. Es ist mit Stand von 2015 weltweit das einzige

Sternerestaurant in einem Freizeitpark.

Was heisst Solidarität heute? Was mache ich mit meinen eigenen Gefühlen und Geschichten aus jüdischer und nicht-jüdischer Perspektive, gerade in Europa? Wir möchten gerne einen Raum öffnen um mit Hilfe der themen-zentrierten Interaktion sowohl mit uns selber als auch mit anderen das Thema „Jüdische Solidarität im vielfältigem Licht unserer eigenen Geschichten heute leben“ zu beleuchten. Besonders einladen möchten wir Menschen mit jüdischer Geschichte und/oder Identität und Menschen die politisch zu Themen wie Antifa, Faschismus oder Erinnerungskultur aktiv sind! Am Anfang wird es als Input einen kurzen Vortrag von Nui geben mit einer Kritik am Ist-Zustand jüdischer Solidarität, wie es Nui in in einer queer feminstischen oder links-autonomen Szene erlebt. Der Workshop soll, so die Utopie, ein braver space für jüdische Menschen sein, Antisemitisus wird es wohl trotzdem geben. Er wird klar benennt werden und nötigenfalls werden nicht-jüdische Menschen deswegen den Workshop verlassen müssen, wenn sie sich nicht auf einen Reflexionsprozess einlassen möchten. Ich wünsche mir auch Reflektierheit und Transparenz bezüglich der Sprechpositionen. Es geht besonders darum jüdische und somit unterdrückte Perspektiven wahrzunehmen und sich in sie hineinzufühlen. Jüd_innen sind besonders herzlich eingeladen mit zu diskutieren, dabei zu sein und gehört zu werden! Es bleibt kompliziert. We would like to open a space to explore the topic of "Jewish solidarity in the diverse light of our own stories today" with the help of topic-centered interaction with ourselves as well as with others. We would like to invite especially people with Jewish history and/or identity and people who are politically active on topics like antifa, fascism or remembering culture! At the beginning there will be a short lecture by Nui as with a critique of the actual state of Jewish solidarity, as Nui experiences it in a queer feminist or left-wing autonomous scene. According to Utopia, the workshop is supposed to be a braver space for Jewish people, antisemitism will probably still exist. It will be clearly named and if necessary non-Jewish people will have to leave the workshop if they don't want to get engaged in this reflection process. I also ask you for reflection and transparency regarding speaking positions. It’s especially about perceiving Jewish and thus suppressed perspectives and empathizing. Buongiorno!  Grüß Gott!  Bonjour!  

Hello and welcome to the 17 day journey of September 2000.  

Today is 8th September 2000 and a Friday.  We will be going to Lac Léman, or Lake Geneva, in particular Lausanne, the Olympic Committee headquarters city.  But first, we will go on a morning adventure as my jetlag had not yet gone away.  

About 4:45 AM I woke up and took my video camera with me.  I went to the Metzstraße U-Bahn station.  I noticed something interesting about the U Bahn, as there are two gauges, one the 1 meter gauge for the GT-4 trams, then served by line 15 and went past the current Hostelling International Youth Hostel at Eugensplatz, ending at the tram loop at Ruhbank, and it still operates on Sundays as a special exhibition service.  The other is the 1.435 meter gauge known as standard gauge and is used also by most of Europe's mainline trains.  Many stations on the line have low floor sections for the meter gauge trams, and the newest DT-8 series that used the tracks that GT-4 used, had to have foldable steps for the stations where both train types serve, for example the Bad Cannstatt station that also has a connection to the S-Bahn.  The U Bahn has since been renovated and almost all stations have exclusively high floor platforms and only standard gauge, save for a few along the special exhibition line 21.  

I took the U Bahn line 1 at 5:20 AM from Metzstraße to Bad Cannstatt through Mineralbäder, which would terminate at Fellbach.  The Bad Cannstatt U Bahn station at the time, had only low floors, and the U1, U2 and U14 that stopped there, had to use the folding steps.  Bad Cannstatt, among many U Bahn stations in Stuttgart, were upgraded with high platforms as the line 15 in its previous form was converted to a full high floor stepless U Bahn.  I watched when I went to the S Bahn to ride into downtown, the U1 pull away in the direction of Fellbach, sort of northeast of Stuttgart.

About 5:40 AM the first S Bahn arrived at Bad Cannstatt.  It was of the ET420 train series, built in the early 1970s, that I remember from as far back as September 1983, and also in the 1990s when I lived in Frankfurt am Main and Munich.  I took it to Schwabstraße, so that I could come back to Rotebühlplatz / Stadtmitte on the newer ET423 trains.  The S Bahn went first to Hbf, then Rotebühlplatz, Feuersee, and Schwabstraße where the line terminated.  I took the next S Bahn back to Rotebühlplatz, and ended up at 6 AM at Calwer Turm.  The pedestrian shopping area was almost completely deserted, though there were a few busses circulating through downtown Stuttgart.  I walked to Rotebühlplatz and found a Döner Kebap seller open and ready to serve not only Döner Kebap but also Lahmacun, the turkish rollup pizza that I have enjoyed since June 1993.  I ate it before going on the southbound U Bahn train to Charlottenplatz and then to Marienplatz, to connect with line 10, the Zahnradbahn, otherwise known as the cog rail that went uphill east and south to Degerloch.

I had to wait at Marienplatz until the train left at 6:49 AM for Liststraße, Pfaffenweg, Haigst and Degerloch.  I had rode it a previous time on Saturday 2nd August 1997, so I had some idea what to expect.  The line 10 train split at Wielandshöhe for the other train to come down.  On each train is a bicycle rack, always at the south end in front of the train if you look at it if you are at Marienplatz.  Between Pfaffenweg, Wielandshöhe and Haigst, you can see quite an interesting view of the Neckar Valley and downtown Stuttgart.  After Haigst but before Nägelestraße, I could see the per-liter prices for fuel in D-Mark.  It was about 1.90 D-Mark for a liter, about one Euro.  At the time, the US Dollar had more value than the Euro.  Just before 7 AM, the train reached Degerloch U Bahn Station, which was underground.  Already the train was maybe 1,000 feet above sea level, probably 400 feet above downtown Stuttgart.  I took a 7:03 AM train to the next stop at Albstraße so that I could come into the station and then head back to the hotel in time for breakfast.

I took the 7:10 AM train which was stepless, so it could not be operated on the same line as the GT-4 tram line 15.  I took it through a couple of tunnels passing through Weinsteige, Bopser, Olgaeck, and Charlottenplatz.  I had to change at Charlottenplatz to a train for Metzstraße.  While at Dobelstraße, I noticed a sign for one of those floor waxer rental places, plus a Döner Kebap shop.  I made it to the hotel about 7:45 AM.  Breakfast was similar to what I had in Igls at Pension Oswald, coffee, bread rolls, jam, cheese, sliced meats and so on.

I packed up and took a shower in the hallway bathroom.  In the meantime I had my radio on, and it recorded "Let's get loud" by Jennifer Lopez, "Never be the same again" by Mel C of the Spice Girls, "Desire" by Ultra Naté, "Everything is coming up roses" by Black, and "Groovejet (if this ain't love)" by DJ Spiller with Sophie Ellis-Bextor on vocals.  I watched a few videos while packing up, including "Will the real Slim Shady please stand up" by Eminem.  Then about 9 AM I brought my luggage down, and checked out.  I think it cost $45.00 for the night.  I took the U Bahn to Hbf, but got a notion to take the S Bahn past the University and take it back to Hbf, as the train to Karlsruhe would not depart until at least 10:04 AM.  

The train left at 10:05 AM for Karlsruhe.  It went past Zuffenhausen, the factory where Porsches are built, then Pforzheim.  The train went very fast, maybe 100 mph through a few tunnels as they were zoned for 120 mph travel if the signals permitted, and about 10:35 AM the train arrived in Karlsruhe Hbf so I could change to the train that stopped at Basel Badischer Bahnhof, Basel SBB and Olten where I would change again.  The second train was at Baden Baden about 11:24 AM, and an hour later, 12:42 PM it was at the last station in Germany, Basel Badischer Bahnhof.  It is a special train station, where the train platforms are considered to be in Germany, but the station lobby is considered to be past the Swiss border and legally in Switzerland.  Basel SBB is entirely in Switzerland.  There was no border check or passport control that time, only the conductor checking my Eurail Pass.  The train crossed the Rhine at 12:47 PM into Birskopf BS before entering the SBB/SNCF station.  The train stopped at Basel SBB about 12:51 PM, to change directions.  I turned on the radio and the Let's Get Loud song by Jennifer Lopez was played on the then-DRS3 station.  They changed call letters to SRF3 a few years ago, I guess 2015, music format in 2020 is essentially the same as in September 2000.  The train left Basel SBB about 1:15 PM for Olten, and went past Pratteln, Liestal and Sissach but did not stop.  

My first transfer in Switzerland happened about 1:45 PM at Olten.  I changed to an Inter Regio that went through the Canton of Solothurn and western Argovia that borders the half-canton of Basel-Landschaft.  It stopped at Oensingen (not Önsingen), Solothurn, Grenchen Süd (Grenchen Nord is for the line between Biel/Bienne and Delémont in the Canton of Jura), Biel/Bienne, Neuchatel (Neuenburg in German), Yverdon Les Bains and Lausanne.

I had the radio on between Olten and Biel/Bienne.  I had the radio tuned to the local RSR (Radio Suisse Romande), a French-language radio station.  They were playing classic songs of the late Serge Gainsbourg.  One of which was "Pauvre Lola" from 1964.  

About Grenchen Süd the train enters the Canton of Bern and the last station before crossing the unofficial "Röstigraben" is Biel (German) or Bienne (French).  What is the Röstigraben?  It is the linguistic boundary between the German and French speaking parts of Switzerland.  In German, the French speaking part of Switzerland is called the Westschweiz, and the German speaking part of Switzerland is called the Deutschschweiz, or "Düütschschwiiz" in Swiss German.  In French, the French speaking part of Switzerland is called La Suisse Romande.  On the trains, you can notice that the next-station chimes are different depending on which region of Switzerland you are in.  In the German part, there is a low-high-medium chime, and in the French part there is a high-medium-low chime, and in the Ticino there is a medium-medium-low chime.  You can put those all together played fast, which was the standard practice for journeys starting and ending.

The train left Biel/Bienne about 2:30 PM and some time after 3:20 PM the train was in the canton of Neuchatel, so I was in the outer fringes of the Suisse Romande.  The train continued to Lausanne.  I would have arrived there about 4 PM.  I bought a day pass for about 5 CHF.  I had to find the Gare-Flon cog rail line entry.  The entry was a bit north of the rail station.  At the time the CFF station had two adjacent tracks, both with cogs but neither were exactly at the same incline grade.  Both terminated at the Flon uphill transit hub, and at some point there was a track switch for the Gare-Flon line to the main Gare-Ouchy, pronounced as Ooshee.  At Flon, there was a stepless connection to the M1 that went to Renens, about fifteen miles west of Lausanne, and there was also a train station a level below that went to Etagnières.

In 2000, the trolley busses consisted of a regular bus, plus a trailer with doors controlled by the driver.  They seemed older than most of the trolley busses as you would see in Geneva, and did not have any next-stop announcements aside from the dot-matrix visual displays, as opposed to Geneva.

I took the 4:30 PM M1 train to Bourdonnette where there was a connection to the trolleybus line 2 that stopped by the Jeunôtel at the Bois de Vaux stop.  There were a couple of underground stops but most were at the surface.  I walked to the Jeunôtel with my luggage, and checked in about 4:45 PM.  I had a single room which actually was a 3 person bedroom without private shower, that would cost maybe $20 extra for the two nights.  

I ate supper at the hostel, and I think it was chicken, rice, salad and soft drinks.  The price was about 16 CHF, not bad.  At 5:30 PM I went to the Bois de Vaux trolleybus stop, boarded line 2 for Bourdonnette and took the M1 in.  I ended up at Flon about 5:50 PM and I walked around downtown.  I wanted to find a particular clothing store called the Vaca Lechera.  I saw an ad for it, in travel documentation that the city of Lausanne has sent me by mail a few months prior, I guess April 2000.  I thought about eating at the Manora restaurant but I decided maybe at a later time.  About 7:20 PM I was getting tired, and took the Flon-Ouchy cog rail train to Ouchy and take bus line 2 to Bois de Vaux to the hostel.  I decided from then on, that the combination of the Flon-Ouchy train to Ouchy and bus line 2 to Bois de Vaux, would be a better route to take.

I went to bed about 9 PM, and was excited for the next morning to get to go to Geneva and Bellegarde in France.

DE mi, 19.9.18 18-20h die feministische bibliothek ist geöffnet. kommt gerne vorbei zum treffen, schmökern und auf einen tee!              ab 18.30h: wir* suchen zusammen einen text für die queer_feministisch-intersektionale leserunde in der nächsten woche am di, 25.9. 19h aus.

do, 20.9.18 18h austausch aus (queer)feministischer perspektive zu verdrängung, stadtentwicklung, freiraum, wohnprojekte, zwischennutzungsfirmen, besetzungen, etc im rahmen der aktionstage mattenstr.74/76(immer noch bedroht),carambolage und feministische bibliothek im sp!t(beides autonome räume) vom 20.-23.9.

(bildbeschreibung: die drei orte Sp!t, Carambolage und Mattenstrasse sind zusammen gezeichnet so dass mensch sieht, dass sie alle um eine strassenecke liegen und verbindungen da sind. als ankündigung für die aktionstage um wohnen/verdrängung/freiräume steht das datum “20. – 23. september” darauf)

**fr, 28.9.18  18-20h _ _offene schreibwerkstatt **alle formate, alle sprachen herzlich willkommen zur offenen schreibwerkstatt in der feministischen bibliothek! Du willst eine Kurzgeschichte schreiben? Du wolltest schon immer mal mit Reimen experimentieren? Es interessiert dich wie dein bereits geschriebener Text auf Andere wirkt? Gibt es Themen die dir unter den Nägeln brennen und zu denen du gerne ein Essay verfassen möchtest? Schreibst du an einer arbeit und möchtest dies in einer gemeinsamen konzentrierten atmosphäre tun? All das und noch viel mehr hat bei uns Platz. Alle Sprachen und Formate (Kurzgeschichte, Gedicht, Rap, Tagebuch, Aufsatz, Artikel, Comic,...) sind willkommen.

themen: verschlüsselung, das richtige linux für den eigenen compi finden, evtl webseiten machen, .. je nach den bedürfnissen. dies ist ein diy treff (do it yourself = selber und zusammen machen), das heisst, wir teilen alle unser wissen und helfen uns gegenseitig. es sind aber keine vorkenntnisse nötig! es gibt 1-2 zusätzliche laptops, falls eine_r_s keinen mitbringen kann.
