John interviewed in Melody Maker, 6 December 1969

Last week I spent some time with John, during which he told me the truth about the early days, the current relationships within The Beatles, and his consequent need for independence, and a host of other subjects. We begin with the group’s rise to fame, and John’s feelings about the way it was achieved. 

“In the beginning it was a constant fight between Brian [Epstein] and Paul on one side and me and George on the other,” he told me. “Brian put us in neat suits and shirts, and Paul was right behind him. I didn’t dig that, and I used to try and get George to rebel with me. I’d say to him, ‘Look, we don’t need these suits. Let’s chuck them out of the window.’ My rebellion was to have my tie loose, with the top button of my shirt undone, but Paul’d always come up to me and put it straight. 

“I saw a film the other night, the first television film we ever did. The Granada people came down to film us, and there we were in suits and everything - it just wasn’t us, and watching that film I knew that that was where we started to sell out. We had to do a lot of selling out then. Taking the MBE was a sell-out for me. You know, before you get an MBE the Palace writes to you to ask if you’re going to accept it, because you’re not supposed to reject it publicly and they sound you out first. 

“I chucked the letter in with all the fanmail, until Brian asked me if I had it. He and a few other people persuaded me that it was in our interests to take it, and it was hypocritical of me to accept it. But l’m glad, really, that I did accept it- because it meant that four years later I could use it to make a gesture. 

“We did manage to refuse all sorts of things that people don’t know about. For instance, we did the Royal Variety Show once, and we were asked discreetly to do it every year after that- but we always said, ‘Stuff it.’ So every year there was always a story in the newspapers saying ‘Why No Beatles For The Queen?’, which was pretty funny, because they didn’t know we’d refused it. 

“That show was a bad gig anyway. Everybody’s very nervous and uptight, and nobody performs well. The time we did do it, I cracked a joke onstage. I was fantastically nervous but I wanted to say something, just to rebel a bit, and that was the best I could do.” 

Was there, in fact, anything at all that he enjoyed about the years of Beatlemania? 

“Oh sure. I dug the fame, the power, the money, and playing to big crowds. Conquering America was the best thing. You see, we wanted to be bigger than Elvis - that was the main thing. At first we wanted to be Goffin & King, then we wanted to be Eddie Cochran, then we wanted to be Buddy Holly, and finally we arrived at wanting to be bigger than the biggest - and that was Elvis. 

“We reckoned we could make it because there were four of us. None of us would’ve made it alone, because Paul wasn’t quite strong enough, I didn’t have enough girl appeal, George was too quiet, and  Ringo was the drummer. But we thought that everyone would be able to dig at least one of us, and that’s how it turned out.” 

When John returned his MBE in protest against Britain’s involvement in the Vietnam and Biafra conflicts, he added, “And against ‘Cold Turkey’ slipping down the charts.” 

Does that mean that “Cold Turkey” is a specially important record for you? 

“Yes, because it’s MY record. When I wrote it I went to the other three Beatles and said, ‘Hey lads, I think I’ve written a new single.’ But they all said, ‘Ummm... arrrrrr. . . welll. . .’ because it was going to be my project, and so I thought, ‘Bugger you! I’ll put it out myself.’ 

That had happened once before, when I wanted to put ‘Revolution’ out as a single, but ‘Hey Jude’ went out instead.” 

Does that mean that Plastic Ono Band is, for John, a kind of alternative Beatles, particularly in view of Ringo’s refusal to go on tour again? 

“Yes, I suppose so. It’s a way of getting my music out to the public. I don’t bother so much about the others’ songs. For instance, I don’t give a damn about how ‘Something’ is doing in the charts - I watch ‘Come Together’, because that’s my song.” 

Can he ever conceive of a time when he wouldn’t want his songs to be on the same album as Paul’s or George’s? 

“I can see it happening. The Beatles can go on appealing to a wide audience as long as they make albums like Abbey Road, which have nice little folk songs like ‘Maxwell’s Silver Hammer’ for the grannies to dig. 

“About ‘Maxwell’s Hammer’ - well, all I can say is that I dig Engelbert Humperdinck as much as I dig John Cage, and I don’t listen to either of them,” he said with a marvellously relevant irrelevance. “I always wanted to have other people on our records, like the Stones and our other friends. But some of the others wanted to keep it tight- just like The Beatles, you know? But you wait - it’s starting to get looser, and there should be some fantastic sessions in the next few years. That’s what I wanted all along.” 

Going back to the past, did he enjoy doing The Beatles’ two films, Help! and A Hard Day's Night ? 

“I dug Hard Day's Night, although Alun Owen only came with us for two days before he wrote the script. He invented that word ‘grotty’ - did you know that? We thought the word was really weird, and George curled up with embarrassment every time he had to say it. But it’s part of the language now-you hear society people using it. Amazing. 

“Help! was a drag, because we didn’t know what was happening. In fact [Richard] Lester was a bit ahead of his time with the Batman thing, but we were on pot by then and all the best stuff is on the cutting-room floor, with us breaking up and falling about all over the place.” 

The present: has Allen Klein made an agreeable difference to Apple, which was bothering John the last time I spoke to him? 

“Oh, it’s really marvellous. People were very scared of him to start with - and some still are - but that’s probably good. He’s swept out all the rubbish and the deadwood, and stopped it being a resthouse for all the world’s hippies. He won’t let people order antique furniture for their offices and so forth; he’s really tightened it up and it’s starting to work a lot better. 

“He’s noticed that The Beatles had stopped selling records as they were doing around the world, and he found out that it was because the record company simply wasn’t bothering to push them. They thought that our records would sell themselves, and they were wrong. They don’t. If you can get to No 1 in Turkey, Greece, Switzerland and a couple of other countries then that’s as good financially as getting a No 1 in Britain - they don’t realise that. 

“Klein’s very good - he’s going to make sure they stop sitting on the records and actually release them. He’s even keeping tabs on me - I usually make mistakes about who to get in to survey my house, and I can spend a fortune without getting anything done. He’s making sure that I do it the right way.”

Considerably. Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce’s guardian and butler is more her style now. Despite this knew found liking, Sarabi feels trapped. She can’t talk to Bruce about it and clearly can’t mention it to Alfred. The only person she has is her best friend, Claudia. Sarabi has to fight the things she feels for the older man because he could never feel the same way back, right?

I apologise that this part is kinda boring. This bit is mostly expositional, so you guys know what’s going on. I promise the rest of the chapters will not be like this.

The trees passed by in quick succession. Each tree made up of bright green leaves covering the sky from the road like a blanket. 

Though she had been up this way many times before, the serenity and peace she felt at the sight of the trees was surreal. 

Sarabi Nichols had spent the past 12 months discovering the beauty of Europe. She went to Italy, France, England, Spain and Switzerland. She flew 1st class, stayed in boujee hotels and got all the best treatment because of her life long friend Bruce Wayne. 

Bruce insisted on paying for everything no matter how big it was. With his billionaire status, it seemed like nothing. He knew Sarabi was stressed and needed time off, so he gave it to her in the only way he knew how. With luxury and in expense. 

Despite loving the stunning aesthetics of Europe, she missed Gotham. She missed Bruce, she missed Claudia, she missed Alfred and she missed her home, 

Sarabi had lived with Bruce for as long as she could remember. When Sarabi was only 6 her parents were killed by the infamous Clown Prince of Crime, Joker and left her as an orphan. She hated foster homes so she broke out and lived on the streets of Gotham. 

Bruce came into contact with her when she attempted to steal from his house at the age of 13. He took pity on her and adopted her. Even though he is about 15 years older than her, she saw him as a friend rather than a father.

Sarabi had to admit to herself that she used to have a little crush on Bruce. She knew it wasn’t just because of his money or good looks, it was because he saved her life. If he hadn’t taken her in then it’s possible she’d be dead on the streets or worse rotting alive. 

The crush never turned into anything. They kissed once when she was about 20 and Sarabi loved it. She had never kissed anyone and to her, it was the best thing she’d ever experienced. She didn’t feel any fireworks like her bestie Claudia said there would be but she felt warm. Claudia advised her that no fireworks or sparks meant no connection. Though the comment hurt, it slowly registered with Sarabi. 

She loved Bruce but not like that.

Claudia Flynn was her only friend other than Bruce and Alfred. Claudia was the most optimistic, joyful person Sarabi had ever met. There was never a dull moment with her. Claudia was supportive of everything Sarabi did but also told her when something wasn’t a good idea, like with Bruce. Claudia was outspoken, confident but also encouraging. 

Her other friend was Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce’s butler and weapons maker. Sarabi spent most of her working time with Alfred in the Bat Cave making weapons and such. Alfred was catty and opinionated but sure as hell funny when he made fun of Bruce. He usually muttered things under his breath and the British man helped get the jobs done quicker. He was also a gentleman always holding the door open for her and making her tea. She and Alfred got along perfectly. They talked pleasantly while they worked and made jokes about anything and everything, especially when those jokes were about Bruce.

All of these thoughts filled her head and before she knew it, Sarabi was at Wayne Manor’s gates. As soon as her driver made it to the front door Bruce came running out with Claudia at his heels. 

“Sarab! I’ve missed you so much!” Claudia pushed Bruce out of the way and threw her arms around Sarabi. 

“I missed you too but you didn’t have to push Bruce like that,” Sarabi wrapped her arms around Claudia’s neck as she attempted to grab her luggage bag. 

“He can handle it,” Claudia retorted with a smirk and Bruce feigned hurt.

“No Claudia that hurt,” Bruce pouted his bottom lip and Sarabi chuckled.

“Suck it up you little bitch,” Claudia let go of Sarabi and grabbed her backpack.

“Wow, that hurts my feelings,” Bruce stalked his way to Sarabi, still holding a shit-eating grin. He wrapped his burly arms around Sarabi and squeezed her tight.

“I miss you, Sarabi,” Bruce let go and picked up the rest of her bags.

“Thank you, Bruce. My own superhero,” Sarabi and Bruce laughed at the inside joke as Claudia looked on perplexed. 

The three walked Sarabi’s stuff up to the front door that was being held open by none other than Alfred Pennyworth. 

“Miss Nichols, welcome back,” Alfred greeted in his suave, British accent. Sarabi looked up and felt her stomach flutter. It was a strange feeling, one she had never felt before but it was good. She had never denied that his voice had always echoed through her head. It was just so perfect. It was charismatic but mysterious. A new thought popped into her head about Alfred but she pushed it out immediately, hoping her cheeks didn’t flush.

“Alfred how many times do I have to tell you, just call be Sarabi like everyone else,” Sarabi composed herself and watched the older man’s lips curl into a smile.

“Well, I am not like everyone else, Miss Nichols,” Alfred closed the door behind the trio and led the way to the kitchen.

“That is for sure,” Bruce commented and everybody laughed.

The rest of the night was spent by the fireplace catching up. Alfred constantly brought in wine and food whenever one of them wanted it. Claudia drank any alcohol offered while Sarabi was cautious. 

“Claudia, slow down,” Sarabi grabbed the shot out of her hand and placed it on the floor.

“You’re not my mother,” Claudia snatched it back and downed it quickly.

“You’re such a fucking child,” Sarabi rolled her eyes and sipped her beer.

“You two done arguing?” Bruce called from the kitchen as he grabbed another bottle of Jack.

“Possibly,” Claudia and Sarabi fell against each other in a fit of giggles. Claudia snorted on accident and they cackled louder. 

“Master Wayne? Do you want me to set up the guest room for Miss Flynn?” Alfred also kept a close eye on the group to make sure they didn’t set the place on fire.

“Yes Alfred, thanks,” Bruce walked back into the kitchen with the bottle of jack and Alfred rolled his eyes.

“Better get the Advil ready for tomorrow morning too,” Alfred whispered to himself as he walked off to ready the guest bedroom.

“Got some more to go around but not for you, Claudia. You’ve had enough,” Bruce poured himself and Sarabi a drink, watching as Claudia angrily sipped her wine.

“I would like some please,” Claudia quickly grabbed the bottle and drank straight from it. 

“Claudia! For fuck’s sake! You’re gonna be vomiting all night!” Sarabi pulled the bottle from Claudia’s mouth as Claudia tried to grab it back.

“No, that’s enough,” Bruce pulled Claudia back to a sitting position and watched her eyes flutter closed.

“I’m gonna have a small nap,” Claudia closed her eyes and Sarabi and Bruce withheld their laughter as she flopped on the ground like a fish out of water.

“Alfred!” Bruce shouted as quietly as possibly. Sarabi marvelled as Alfred practically appeared out of nowhere. 

“Yes, Master Wayne?” Alfred was clearly annoyed by their antics and just wanted to sleep.

“Can you help me carry Claudia up to the guest room?” Bruce grasped onto Claudia’s hands and beckoned for Alfred to move closer.

“Aren’t you the superhero?” The British man mumbled loud enough for them to hear.

“Yes and weren’t you an SAS soldier?” Bruce rebutted as he grabbed her hands and Alfred grabbed her legs.

“Yes like 30 years ago,” Alfred and Bruce hoisted her up and Sarabi snickered at Claudia’ swaying form.

Bruce was back pretty quickly with an annoyed Alfred.

“Anything else, Master Wayne?” Alfred breathed a sigh of relief when Bruce answered no.

“Goodnight Master Wayne, goodnight Miss Nichols and welcome back,” Alfred bowed lightly and walked off.

“Goodnight Alfred,” Sarabi waved as he strutted off.

“How has Gotham been, Bruce?” Sarabi asked in the light of the fire.

“As bad as ever. There seems to be way too many criminals these days,” Sarabi frowned as she noticed Bruce’s tired eyes.

“Well if all else fails, you have Claudia to be your trusty sidekick,” Sarabi raised her eyebrows in a goofy manner and was thankful that Bruce laughed.

“I guess she could scare the men away,” Bruce shook his head as he laughed.

“She scares everyone away,” Sarabi rested her head on Bruce’s large shoulder and felt herself fall asleep.

“Night, Brucey,” Sarabi quipped as her eyes closed.

“Night, Sarbi,” Bruce placed his arm on her shoulder delicately and the two of them fell asleep, curled up in each other’s arms.

Amélie (Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain): France, 2001. One of the most famous modern films of all times in Europe. Amélie is a girl from Paris who finds an old box hidden by a child decades ago. From there, she decides to go on a quest to fix other people’s lives, and maybe also her own. Romantic comedy narrated in a very cool and interesting way, with touches of fantasy. A classic in Europe which everyone has seen and whose music we’d always recognise. Trailer in French with English subs.

Agora (Ágora): Spain, 2009. This movie was originally filmed in English (starring Rachel Weisz and Oscar Isaac) but I found it’s surprisingly unknown in the USA. It tells the real story of the astronomist and philosopher Hypatia of Alexandria in 4th century Egypt, during the rise of Christianity and religious intolerance (as well as intolerance for a woman teaching those subjects). This movie was my favourite the years after it came out. Trailer in English.

3 idiots: India, 2009. Two friends are searching for their long lost companion. They revisit their college days and recall the memories of their friend who inspired them to think differently, even as the rest of the world called them "idiots". Humour but also talks about very real problems, like the problems of the education system -especially in universities- in the way it is centered on memorizing and how it over-stresses students. By the way, this is Bollywood, it’s a musical. Trailer (activate the English subtitles on the subtitles button).

The Chorus (Les Choristes): France-Switzerland, 2004. A new teacher at a severely administered boys' boarding school works to positively affect the students' lives through music. One of my personal favourite movies of all times, and the music is beautiful too. English trailer.

Life is Beautiful (La Vita è Bella): Italy, 1997. When an open-minded Jewish librarian and his son become victims of the Holocaust, he uses a perfect mixture of will, humor, and imagination to protect his son from the dangers around their camp. Drama and (romantic) comedy. Another modern classic in Europe that everyone has seen. It won the Oscar for Best Foreign Movie (also Best Actor and Best Original Score) in 1998. English Trailer.

Like Stars on Earth (Taare Zameen Par): India, 2007. An eight-year-old boy is thought to be a lazy trouble-maker, until the new art teacher has the patience and compassion to discover the real problem behind his struggles in school. A positive story about the issues faced by neurodivergent children. THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL, PREPARE TO CRY! English trailer.

The Wave (Die Welle): Germany, 2008. I guess everyone has seen this movie by now, but I couldn’t leave it out. It’s based on the real story of the Third Wave social experiment. A high school teacher has to teach a class about autocracy. His students believe that a dictatorship would not be possible in nowadays Germany, he starts an experiement to show how masses can be manipulated: The Wave. This movement embraces uniforms, discipline, the leadership of the teacher, and quickly develops into fascism, and gets out of the professor’s control. Trailer.

Colonia: Chile-Germany-Luxembourg-France, 2015. A thriller based on a real story, filmed in English (starring Emma Watson). A young German couple get involved in the fight for socialism in Chile. In 1973, the military coup led by Augusto Pinochet deposes Salvador Allende and rounds up its supporters, including Daniel. This mocie explains the story of Lena, Daniel’s girlfriend, and her desperate search for her abducted boyfriend draws her into the infamous Colonia Dignidad, a sect nobody has ever escaped from. Trailer.

Cinema Paradiso (Nuovo Cinema Paradiso): Italy, 1988. A filmmaker recalls his childhood when falling in love with the pictures at the cinema of his home village and forms a deep friendship with the cinema's projectionist. English trailer.

Rabbit-Proof Fence: Australia, 2002. Technically from an AngloSaxon-dominated country (Australia) but based on the experiences of indigenous people so it and anyway just a generally very good film so it deserves a place on the list. About the true story of three Aboriginal girls of the Stolen Generation. Taken from their home and separated from their mothers, they are sent to a remote settlement 1,500 miles away. In response they attempt the impossible and embark on a daring escape and epic journey to find their way back home - across an unforgiving landscape that will test their very will to survive. Good Bye, Lenin!: Germany, 2003. In 1990, to protect his socialist mother from a fatal shock after a long coma, a young man must keep her from learning that her beloved nation of East Germany as she knew it has disappeared. Trailer.

A Twelve-Year Night (La Noche de Doce Años): Uruguay, 2018. The real story of the 12 years that Pepe Mujica, Mauricio Rosencof and Eleuterio Fernández Huidobro spent in solitary confinement for their ideology after the dictatorship decides that, since they can’t kill them, they will drive them crazy. Trailer.

Rang de Basanti (रंग दे बसंती): India, 2006. Six young Indians who assist an English woman to film a documentary on the freedom fighters from their past. Disinterested at first, the events in their lives and the lives of the early 20th century revolutionaries have more and more parallels, leading them to relive the long-forgotten saga of freedom. Salvador (Puig Antich): Catalonia, 2006. The real story of the last person condemned to death -in 1974- by Franco’s fascist dictatorship: the Catalan anarchist Salvador Puig i Antich. Trailer.

Lagaan (लगान): India, 2001. When the British occupiers raise the Lagaan tax during a drough, the people of a small village in Victorian India stake their future on a game of cricket against the ruthless British rulers. Trailer.

Fènix 11*23: Catalonia, 2004. The real story of a 14-year-old Catalan boy who sent an email to a supermarket chain asking them to label their products also in the Catalan language. Inspired by Harry Potter, he had an account on a forum website called The Army of the Phoenix. One nigh, 30 military policemen show up to his home to arrest him, accused of terrorism. Trailer.

War of the Buttons (La Nouvelle Guerre des boutons): France, 2011. In France occupied by the Nazis, Lebrac leads a play war between two rival kid gangs, but a girl he likes, who's Jewish, is in danger of being discovered by local Nazi sympathisers. Lebrac and the village must now respond to the reality of what's happening. Trailer.

Jean-François and the Meaning of Life (Jean-François i el Sentit de la Vida): Catalonia, 2018. A 12-year-old boy finds a copy of “The Myth of Sisyphus” by French philosopher Albert Camus. He then decides to become an Existentialist and runs away from home to Paris to meet Albert Camus, not knowing he has been dead for fifty years. On the way, he meets a girl named Lluna and new experiences and feelings. Trailer.

Update: @beautiful-basque-country recommended this and I loved it: Errementari (Basque Country, 2018). A gothic fantasy about a popular Basque legend regarding a blacksmith, a little girl, and a demon in the rural Basque Country of the 19th century. A beautiful story of friendship and love, stunning ambientation, and great CGI.

TV SERIES

Rookie Historian Goo Hae-Ryung (신입사관 구해령): South Korea, 2019. Historical drama and romantic comedy set in the Joseon Dynasty, follows a 26 year old woman who decides to become a historian instead of getting married. It deals with how women were treated, censorship, literature, and the power of the imperial court. I enjoyed it very much and it’s on Netflix. Trailer.

Deutschland 83: Germany, 2015-2020. An East German young man is recruited to infiltrate the West German army. As a rookie spy, his decisions constantly put his cover at risk and force his agency to take extreme measures. The first season takes place in 1983, the second (titled Deutschland 86) in 1986, and end with Deutschland 89 with the fall of the Berlin wall in 1989. (Btw, gay and lesbian main characters). Trailer.

Babylon Berlin: Germany, 2017-. Netflix show based on the bestselling detective novels by Volker Kutscher. Set during the Weimar Republic, starting in 1929, in Berlin, a city that represented freedoms of all kinds, but where a drastic change was being prepared. Following Colognian commissioner Gereon Rath who just moved to the city and Charlotte Ritter, mechanographer by day and flapper by night, teir investigation takes them to the deepest secrets of Berlin: from the clandestine meetings of refugee Troskyist Russians, to the army generals planning the return of the Kaiser, to the Berlin nigh scene and sexual and gender freedom circles, to working class movements, and more. Cable Girls (Las Chicas del Cable): Spain, 2017-2019. Netflix. Four women in search of independence are brought together through their work as telephone operators in 1928 Madrid. Their lives show the troubles and fights of women of their time. (Bisexual and trans main characters). Trailer.

The Ministry of Time (El Ministerio del Tiempo): Spain, 2015-. On Netflix. The Spanish Govenrment has a secret Ministry: the Ministry of Time. Through a centuries-old system of doors that connect different times and places of the history of Spain, its workers travel in time to make sure nobody changes history for their own personal benefit. Follow the main characters (Julián, a nurse from modern-day Madrid; Amelia, a Catalan 19th-century woman, one of the firsts to attend university; and Alonso, a 16th-century soldier who has some trouble but a lot of fun discovering the modern world) accross time in different missions that lead you to meet the most important people in Spanish history and literature. Trailer (activate English subtitles).

Note: the American company Sony Pictures offered to buy El Ministerio del Tiempo to make an American version of it. After a while, they decided to copy it without paying (but making it worse and way less funny): that is the show Timeless. This is a situation where a big business took advantage of small countries’ productions. The Spanish TV sued Sony Pictures for it, but because of how much more money American entertainment businesses have, the case wasn’t solved. Please, boycott Timeless and watch the original El Ministerio del Tiempo. There is also a Portuguese version (Ministério do Tempo) who did it legally and has been successful in Portugal. China has also bought the idea but hasn’t made the show yet.

Romanzo Criminale: Italy, 2008-2010. The complete first season of the Italian crime drama based on the novel by Italian judge Giancarlo De Cataldo. The series follows the dealings of an organised gang of drug dealers as they gain control over Rome's heroin trade. As well as coming up against each other from time to time, the group also have to compete with other local criminal syndicates with similar illicit interests. Trailer.

Polseres Vermelles: Catalonia, 2011-2013. A group of children (teenagers in the second season) with different illnesses meet in a hospital. An older man in the hospital tells the main characters that, in order to be a good group of friends, they must have a leader, a second leader, the indispensable one, the handsome one, and the girl. Narrated in a semi-magical way, this is their story of friendship and will to live.

Note: Steven Spielberg loved the show so much he bought the rights and made an American re-make, named Red Band Society. The re-make erased all the settings and instead of having the action take place in Barcelona (Catalonia) with Catalan culture, they moved it to the USA. The result was that they took away the depth and uniqueness of the characters, and the American show was very bad and got cancelled. If you’re interested, watch the original Catalan, NOT the American re-make.

Dark: Germany, 2017-2020. I won’t try to explain the plot because it’s too complex for a few lines lmao but it’s a science-fiction show that follows the disappearance of locals in a rural town in Germany and how the same events repeat every 33 years, with time as a circular concept instead of a linear one. This has been defined by many as the best Netflix show ever. Trailer.

The Trial (Il Processo): Italy, 2019. A judicial drama that follows the trial of after the murder of a young girl who found herself in the middle of the rich families of Mantova. It’s also on Netflix. Trailer.

Pope: Private property is ‘not Christian’, WEF agrees

At the turn of the month November-December, the pope made a move that was described as shocking by many. He argued that Christianity did not support the right to own a home. This led to surprised and outraged reactions, whereby several pointed out that those who are forced to rent or beg for shelter can never be free. Free West Media can here reveal that the Pope's statement is in line with the plans that the globalist elite has long discussed and also more or less clearly communicated to the public, something that most people have overlooked. Among other things, we present the World Economic Forum's 8-point vision for 2030. These world-changing plans are beginning to materialize in various ways now, including in China.

Pope Francis attracted a lot of attention in Catholic circles on November 30 when he said several controversial things in a video message to judges from the Committee on Social Rights in Africa and America. However, the general public is not aware of his sensational statement, as the system media did not report on it.

The pope said, among other things, that a new “social justice” is needed and that private ownership is not something obvious in Christianity and therefore not for the Catholic Church either.

“Let us build the new social justice and admit that the Christian tradition has never recognized the right to private property as absolute and immovable,” said Francis.

Outraged reactions

Many were shocked by the statement and pointed out that the right to own private property is one of the most important human rights.

PROFESSOR KLAUS SCHWAB, 82, is a German engineer, economist and professor of business policy who is best known as the founder and chairman of the powerful globalist foundation World Economic Forum (WEF). In his book Covid-19: The Great Reset, Schwab claims that the world “will never” return to normal, despite acknowledging that the alleged coronavirus pandemic “does not pose a new existential threat.” – The pandemic represents a rare but narrow time window with opportunities to reflect (re: flect), rethink (re: imagine) and restore (re: set) our world, Schwab said at the launch of The Great Reset this summer. They pointed out that without that right you are like slaves of old, who must rely on their owners giving them a roof over their heads and food. Being always forced to earn in order to pay for the most basic need – protection against the forces of the weather – makes you both unfree and in practice completely powerless, some said on social media.

The pope’s statement was also widely discussed in Christian circles and no comments were positive. The exception was possibly the Twitter account Lichten & Bright who wrote:“Thank you for letting us know the Pope’s position on private ownership of property and means of production. We had no idea that he was an advocate of nationalizations [the state seizes] all land and business companies and against democratic elections. Thoughtful things”.

The Twitter account Catholic Victory wrote briefly that “Francis is a heretic and not a pope”.

Several people pointed out that it was reminiscent of the startling tones heard for several years from the World Economic Forum (WEF) foundation, which is best known for the annual conference in Davos, Switzerland. It brings together some of the world’s most powerful policy makers and globalists in politics and business. It was precisely the WEF that this summer, via its “ambassador” Prince Charles, launched The Great Reset, which more and more world leaders are now talking openly about being implemented.

The author of The Great Reset is Klaus Schwab, chairman of the powerful WEF, who wrote a 280-page book entitled COVID-19: The Great Reset. The book puts forward the argument that the pandemic has proven absolutely necessary to immediately introduce a completely new world order.

No private ownership 2030

To get an idea of ​​the background to the pope’s strange statement and what The Great Reset might mean, we can watch a video from the WEF entitled “8 predictions for the world 2030”.

COVID-19: THE GREAT RESET is 280 pages long and was already published on July 9, almost four months into the pandemic. Many have pointed out the improbability of writing such a comprehensive and complex book in such a short time. It tells us that the pandemic has shown the need to immediately introduce a new world order, which does not quite unexpectedly advocate a comprehensive “world government” and a merger of governments and multinational corporations to meet people’s needs. Critics call it communism in the form of a totalitarian global technocracy ruled by a small globalist elite using Big Tech (technology giants) and artificial intelligence (AI).

The first point there is as simple as it is remarkable. It states that “You will own nothing and you will be happy”. The point also explains that “Whatever you need, you will rent”. So no more ownership, but everything should be rented, including the clothes you wear on the body.

Can they really mean it? We visit WEF’s website for more information. There you can in a text, which paints the future they want to see in 2030, read the following:

Welcome to the year 2030. Welcome to my city – or should I say “our city”. I own nothing. I do not own a car. I do not own a house. I do not own any appliances or clothes.

The text on the WEF’s website also states that it is not only private ownership that will be abolished in the new utopia, or dystopia depending on who you ask, but there will also be no privacy. We can read there that:

Sometimes I can get annoyed by the fact that I have no real integrity. Nowhere can I go without being registered. I know that somewhere everything I do, think and dream about is recorded. I can only hope that no one will use it against me.

Many who hear it for the first time believe that it must be a conspiracy theorist’s crazy fantasies, but it is instead the richest and most powerful globalists on the planet who meet annually in Davos who present it in text and video form. System media has not reported on this and then the general public does not know these visions and agendas of these globalists.

Canadian Whistleblower has been right so far

Someone who claimed to be a Canadian MP and member of the Liberal Party of Canada (Canada’s Liberal Party led by Justin Trudeau, the country’s current Prime Minister) wrote an open letter on October 10 to warn the Canadian people that the pandemic is a smokescreen with the aim of introducing a far-reaching agenda where, among other things, people will be forced to renounce their right to private ownership. The Whistleblower did not reveal his name, but wrote that “I sit on several committee groups, but the information I provide comes from the Strategic Planning Committee, which is governed by the PMO [abbreviation for Prime Minister’s Office]”.

The anonymous MP then set out a secret roadmap established by Trudeau, which would be implemented regardless of their views or objections. He initially states that a second shutdown will be introduced in November, which will then be even tougher over Christmas and New Year. This is exactly what has happened in both North America and Europe. The whistleblower then indicates a frightening development in 2021, where, among other things, a third wave from a mutation called “COVID-21” – this time with real death rates – will be followed by an even harsher third shutdown in the first and second quarters of 2021.

Regarding the current economy and ownership, he indicates an impending “collapse of the supply chain, stock shortages, major economic instability” in the second quarter of 2021. Desperate people will then be offered the general basic income program, Universal Basic Income [UBI] in English. It can be mentioned here that Australia has already made it clear that only vaccinated citizens will be given welfare funds under a new law with the slogan “No jab, no pay”, “no syringe, nothing paid”.

Here you can see high-rise buildings with micro-apartments in Heze, in China’s eastern Shandong province, where Liu and his neighbors will be forcibly relocated when they are ready. The individual will also need to agree to participate in the vaccination program for COVID-19 and COVID-21, which would allow the individual to travel and live indefinitely even during a complete shutdown (using a photo ID called Canada’s HealthPass).

With the pope’s statement, the Vatican and the Catholic Church have now officially taken the position that such possible plans do not run counter to the “Christian tradition”. The outlaw was acutely attentive of her eyes watching his every movement as she sat at the small round table in the middle of the stark white room, the same one that had a direct view of the kitchen counter that held the microwave, the coffee maker, and a few little boxes that held packages of tea, sugar and hot cocoa mix on top.

It was the cocoa that caught his eye today, and while the cowboy didn’t usually reach for it unless the holidays were in swing, had a sweet tooth that needed satiating every now and then.

Besides, he needed something that would give him energy, and he wasn’t about to touch the coffee. In the Overwatch base, it was Genji’s turn to brew a pot, and bless his little cyborg heart, he made the coffee at Route 66 more favorable —not easy to do.

McCree took a sip and sucked his teeth, bits of the powdered gunk getting stuck against the roof of his mouth and behind his teeth. He sighed; the artificially flavored chocolate mix wasn’t renowned for being the best the world had to offer, but it didn’t mean he had to waste it —there was a way to make it better.

He reached down into his tan pocket and withdrew a flask, one that held an emergency stash of whiskey. Funny enough, Jesse found himself reaching into his pocket more and more nowadays; each time still mulling over the fact of why he returned to Overwatch. He never should have let Echo and Winston talk him into it…

Georg later explained his reasons under police interrogation. The first was that Hitler was preparing to take Germany into another war. This opinion was shared by many in Europe, and not least amongst a large number of Germans. Other reasons for his acts were that wages had been driven too low by Hitler (in fact wages in 1938 under Hitler were less than in 1929, contrary to popular misconceptions). 

Georg said that the working class had become exasperated and that something had to be done. He admitted often talking with colleagues, and unknowns met on trains or in restaurants, though he never revealed any names, even under torture.

Georg was not mad, nor a fanatic. Once he had made up his mind, he proceeded in the methodical manner like the conscientious worker he was.

In autumn 1938 he started stealing small amounts of explosives from the factory, bringing out 25 packets in a year. Georg knew that Hitler visited the Buergerbraukeller pub in Munich every year on 8th and 9th November to celebrate the anniversary of the Nazi putsch of 1923. He went to Munich on 8th November, inspected the pub and saw Hitler arrive and then returned home.

In March 1939, shortly after German troops invaded Czechoslovakia, Georg resigned from his job and went to Munich. He attempted unsuccessfully to get work at the pub. Returning to live with his parents, he got a job in a quarry, which allowed him to build up his explosives supplies. He returned to Munich in August.

Georg was an anonymous worker, one among many in a crowd. He attracted no attention.

From 5th August until 6th November he ate every evening at the Buergerbrau. At closing time he hid in a cupboard, waiting for the staff to leave. He was able to work for four hours, then returned to his hiding place and left with the arrival of the first customers. In three months, he had hollowed out a pillar big enough to house a time bomb. He planned for this to explode on 8th November at 9.20 pm.

Georg should have read the papers, where he would have discovered that Hitler had cancelled his visit. He was apprehended by customs officials when he attempted to cross the border to Switzerland, and detained on suspicion of being a spy or deserter. Incriminating evidence, including a postcard of the pub, were found on him.

Meanwhile the bomb had exploded killing 6 members of the Nazi old guard and a waitress. When this was announced on the radio, the customs officials remembered the postcard.

Transferred to Munich, Georg denied all involvement in the attack. The Gestapo was called in. After 14 hours of beatings and torture, Georg admitted his responsibility. The Gestapo refused to believe that a simple German worker had acted on his own.

Georg gave away no one. Despite his suffering, he refused to remember a single name of Roeter Frontkaempferbund members, except one who had died in 1930.

The German papers called Georg a British agent. Hitler hoped to finish the war on the Western front with a trial of British leaders at London, for which he would use Georg as a witness, and he was placed in Sachsenhausen concentration camp.

When it became obvious that the London trial would not happen, the Nazi leaders lost interest in him. Transferred to Dachau in 1944, he was murdered on the orders of Himmler on 9th April 1945 at the same time as other resisters, just a few days before the liberation of the camp.

From 1933 he had refused to salute the swastika and promptly left any public place where a Hitler broadcast was being played on the radio. Once he had taken his decision to act, he proceeded methodically.
