I’m trying to keep my Tumblr active and updated, so here’s my latest edit endeavor. It’s an AU idea of if the Bleach characters were actually actors.

And yes, I did write the fake article. I made it—or at least tried, to make it sound as critical as the media tends to be with female celebs. I just thought it’d be a fun spin on things.

"Argh! You little-!" Ichigo jumped and exclaimed in pain. He had gotten kicked right in the shin. After jumping on one foot for a moment, holding and rubbing his ankle with both hands, he glared at her with a growl and began to yell. "What is wrong with you!? I'm tryin' to pour my heart out here and you kick me in the shin!! Gah!" he couldn't help but be honest at this moment, cause he was either going to tell her honestly or just walk away. This was getting too frustrating.

17 Dark Months: A new beginning... Roleplay with @rukia-kuchiki-divided

Introduction

The day Ichigo lost his powers was etched into his mind with painful clarity. The final clash with Aizen had drained him completely. As his Soul Reaper abilities faded and finally disappeared, so did a part of his identity. He returned to the human world, seemingly a normal teenager once more, but inside, he was far from normal. The sense of loss was profound, like a phantom limb he could still feel but could no longer use. He missed the thrill of battle, the camaraderie of his friends… but most of all, he missed… her. Her absence was a constant ache in his heart, a reminder of what he had lost. Whom he had lost.

Ichigo navigated the murky waters of normalcy, each day a stark reminder of the extraordinary life he had once led. The constant ache of Rukia's absence was a companion to his waking hours and his dreams, a silent testament to the bond they shared. The months without his powers had been a trial by fire, a test of his resilience and willpower... and still, he always wondered if he could keep up with the speed of the world without her. At the same time, he was full of anger and anguish. He knew she could have visited him in a gigai whenever she wanted, so why didn’t she? How could she give up on their friendship so easily? Was he imagining how close they were? Not having answers to these questions, as each day passed, killed him slowly.

Yet suddenly, without warning, as if the clouds had dispersed into nothingness revealing the moon and her brilliant light, she returned to his world. Not only was she back, but just as in the beginning, she had once more changed his world and turned it upside down. His powers were restored, and the proverbial day had once again been saved.

...was it? Surely it was…right?

Despite his momentary joy at seeing his old friends, and her, come to his rescue, he couldn’t avoid the bitter aftertaste of everything that had occurred over the last 17 months. He couldn’t just pretend like it all never happened. There were so many questions unanswered, and he was going to be damned if he wouldn’t try to settle his heart’s contentions!

After the commotion following his victory over Ginjou, having already greeted and caught up with everyone else who attended the daring rescue of his abilities, he stole a moment away to arrange a private meeting with Rukia by the river later that night—if she even remembered where that was at this point. He couldn’t be sure anymore. After all, she even looked different.

Either way, he was finally going to settle the score and find out the truth. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He paced nervously around the meeting spot, trying to calm himself down as best he could. He was going to meet her on his terms, in human form. “Tch… where is she?” he thought out loud as each second he waited longer allowed for his mind to bash him with further doubts and frustrations.

The riverbank, once a place of strategy discussions and shared secrets, now felt like the stage for a confrontation he had long dreaded and anticipated in equal measure. Ichigo’s heart pounded in his chest, each beat a reminder of the unanswered questions and unresolved emotions that had plagued him for months.
