Anyway I'm a sucker for domestic mundane things, like the list of random facts VelvetFox posted in this ask, so here are some headcanons for the boys with that same vibe:

(I had some scraps of IB dad headcanons so those are mixed in here too)

Alexei:

Has journals full of thoughts and observations about anything and everything. Some of his writing is illegible and other parts make no sense to anybody but him because it's literally his runaway train of thoughts dumped onto paper. He sticks post-it notes with diagrams between the pages, jots down excerpts from Wikipedia pages, and overall it's not an aesthetic read... But flipping through can give you an idea of how this super genius's brain works.

He also writes about you in these notebooks, albeit they're written in between stuff like the thirty-seven fun facts of siphonophores and his favorite part of last night's dinner. Many of them are things you’ve never even noticed about yourself like the way you hold the steering wheel while driving. This is also where he'll stick date memorabilia, like movie tickets. (this hc was inspired by this fic by @sailxrmxrs <3)

If you two own a saucer chair or some other small round comfy seat, he'll probably fall asleep in it at least once. He curls up, all 5'10" of him tucked in that tiny space. Naturally, his body hurts when he wakes up and therefore he gets a bit grumpy. So next time if you see him dozing off maybe lead him to the couch or the bed so he can stretch comfortably.

Brooklyn:

I want to imagine that he has a closet only for his clothing irons and ironing boards. Like a fucking broom closet and you open it to see that there's those four boards and a dozen irons. These include vintage clothing irons, restored and repurposed. He knows how to use them and take care of them too. Why does this make me laugh so hard.

Clothes shopping. Take this man clothes shopping. Yes, he'll buy you anything but honestly? Even disregarding that it’s a fun time because he would enjoy discussing outfits, and if your taste isn't the same as his business-academia-formal style he could be convinced into trying an outfit you styled, or vice versa. Also he's a total simp every time you step out of the changing room. Need fit pics? He's got you covered.

Something tells me Brooklyn would enjoy snacks and desserts from around the world. He'd love to make them himself (and with you!), but you could just come home with some mitarashi-dango because your local Asian supermarket was having a sale and he's already cracking open the container for the ceremonial-grade green tea leaves.

Leo:

Leo's our favorite gamer guy, but I think he also enjoys jigsaw puzzles whether they be with his friends or you or both. These are the quiet nights where everyone is focusing, intently staring at the puzzle sitting on the coffee table while aimlessly chatting. It's super peaceful, though sometimes time slips by unnoticed and by the time you all finish it's two in the morning.

Does that thing where you put someone in a shopping car, sprint across the parking lot while pushing said cart, then jump on it while it's moving. He does it with his friends, you, and his future kid (albeit with a lot more caution). He really wants to kiss you while he’s doing it too, but maybe not because what happens if he hits a car, or worse, someone else?

While we're on the topic of transportation and kisses, every time you're sitting shotgun and he pulls the car in reverse he'll put his hand on your seat and lean in to kiss you. Every. Single. Time.

Kiss him first. It'll get him flustered. Do it.

Milo:

I want to believe he really likes having his hair brushed. If you ask him about it he'll never admit it beyond a quick affirmative, but anytime you sit behind him and start to gently run the bristles through his tangles, he could feel himself relaxing. It's soothing. He might fall asleep like that.

Milo would own a 3d printer. I have no definitive reasons why. Vibe check says he owns a 3d printer and will print out cool little knickknacks and give them to you without a word because they either help you in a mundane way (like a toothbrush holder), or he'll print out something cute like a tiny frog with a mushroom hat because he likes seeing your face light up.

Or he'll print out something cursed, like that Thomas the Tank Engine bottlecap where the liquid streams out of the eyes. It's a coin toss every time.

Rory:

Was that one kid reading with a flashlight under the covers. Even now that he's older, he likes to get a bed light and read before bed. Sometimes he gets super engrossed in it and you gotta peel that book off him. He’ll complain. Stand your ground. Otherwise he'll be super sleep-deprived and cranky the next morning.

If his future child also turns out to be an avid reader, he'll secretly change out their flashlight batteries. Or get them a night light with some half-baked excuse of, "so you don't turn on all the lights when you get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and wake the entire house up." Sure, Rory.

Speaking of sleep-related things, he really likes it when you fall asleep next to him/on him. His expression melts into the softest smile and he'll pull you in tightly. If he falls asleep on you, he's the kind to unconsciously hold onto you/must be touching you at all times. He gets really embarrassed about it if you mention this to him. I recommend taking a picture and making it his contact photo.

Tobias:

Has terrible handwriting but an impeccable signature. Don't ever ask him to write the grocery list because it takes forever to decipher his chicken scratch, but he'll sign stuff for fans in one fluid stroke, and that shit looks clean. And yes, he'll offer to sign something for you too.

Loves it when he's chilling on the couch after a long day and you flop on top of him. He'll happily be your teddy bear and let you lay there for hours, the two of you chatting and watching TV while he rubs soft circles on your back. Feel free to fall asleep like that too.

He's the type to enjoy flashy, expensive dates. He takes you out in his sports car to get dinner at a fancy restaurant, followed by spectating sports games from the VIP seats. But I also think incredibly mundane things, like the two of you going out just to grab ice cream in sweatpants and hoodies give him a special kind of happiness.

Seeing you sleepily rubbing your eyes as you come to pick him up from the airport is enough to make him giddy.

Jealousy

This was meant for the lockeroom prompt from @wolfstarmicrofic but I spent so much time on school I literally forgot to finish this. If you’re reading this and thinking about taking IBs DONT!! SAVE YOURSELF!

Quidditch has been a total pain in the dick the past month. Not only has James been a total arse to everyone in the team because of his latest breakup with Lily- the fifth one in fact- but the girls are being completely uncooperative on her behalf. It was all completely doomed from the beginning.

By the time the Sunday match rolled around, the team was a complete mess. The graceful chasers crashed into each other at least thrice, the amazing keeper could not do his only literal job and not twenty minutes had to go by before their score reached triple digits.

To no one’s surprise, Sirus casually “bumped” into the Ravenclaw chaser, right after the 120th point, throwing her off her broom.

A deafening whistle went off.

“Sirius Black!” the ref screeched “out and suspended!”

“Fuck’s sake” Sirius muttered “of course I’m the bad guy”

Angrily, he dropped to the ground and stomped to the lockeroom. Throwing his broom and removing his pads he sat down on the first bench he saw.

“A whole month a whole fucking month” he thought “putting up with James and Marlenes bullshit feud over Lily, who I also had to fucking tolerate!, to end up suspended for lightly touching that mutant asshole.”

Surely, James’s insufferable heartbreak was weighing on the whole team, but Sirius had other things weighing on him. Just last Sunday, the pretty little chaser he threw off her broom has been batting her big brown eyes at Remus. Right. Under. His. Nose.

Remus told him it had been over some homework thing, History of magic, but it was all a big ball of bullshit. Sirius knew perfectly well those two didn’t share any classes, but Remus managed to convince him was truly nothing and Sirius, blindly, decided to trust him, a regrettable decision.

Yesterday it happened again, they were standing beside the potions classroom, her eyelashes batting over and over for Remus, desperately craving his attention. The kind of attention Remus had sworn to only give Sirius. Bull. Shit.

“Pads?” A familiar voice resonated through the lockeroom. “I know you’re in here asshole, I just want to check on you before you got screamed at by everyone else”

“You’re here to scream at me?” He answered as Remus sat down beside him.

“Uh? No? I came to see how you’re doing, suspension and all”

“It’s just a semester, I can deal Remus but thanks.” He answered dryly

“The fuck is wrong with you? Don’t take your anger out at me I barely spoke to you today.” Remus argued

“Oh sure you have no time for your stupid boyfriend but all the time in the world for your bitchy girlfriend” Sirius bitched “I get it now, thanks for painting the clearer picture Moons, appreciated.”

“Girlfriend?” Remus said dumbfounded “what on earth is going on with you Pads? Who’s this girlfriend I know nothing of?”

“Oh you know, brown eyes, eyelashes that bat each time she even thinks of you, blonde, fell off her broom, you know her pretty well actually.” He spat back

“fucks sake, this again? What is it with you and Irina?” Remus asked turning at Sirius.

“What’s with me and Irina? What’s with you and Irina, Remus?” Sirius said turning to finally look at him “What is it that you two like to talk about so much you just can’t wait to talk to her?”

“She’s helping me with something” Remus said shyly

“Like your boners?”

“Like your birthday present you fucking dick.” Remus said getting up “She’s traveling to London next week, I’ve been asking her to buy you that stupid Led Zeppelin album you so desperately want since I can’t seem to get it anywhere else.”

Sirius stared down at his shoes. “Shit” he thought. However, being Sirius Black, he wasn’t just going to quit there.

“Well thanks Remus but I could wait for my birthday present if it meant you not flirting with her.”

“Merlin Sirius you are being unreasonable! We’re not flirting!” His hand practically teleported to his temple.

“Puh-lease Remus don’t pretend you don’t see how she worships the ground you walk, she’s always just lurking around the corner, waiting to be with you!” Sirius said standing up to face Remus. “The worst part is I can’t even blame her! You’re so fucking hot and do not stop giving her the time of day. I too would think I have a chance with the infamous Gryffindor casanova”

“Infamous?”

“You can’t be a nice casanova Moons,” Sirius ran his hands through his sweated hair “It just doesn’t work like that.”

“I’m quite nice to you, aren’t I?” Remus asked.

“Yeah sure, except when you’re flirting with Irina, you’re pretty decent”

“Oh fuck off” Remus chuckled

“and leave you alone in the lockeroom to wait for your girlfriend? No thanks.” Sirius meant it, but it came out as a tease, and he let it slide.

Remus laughed before sitting back down “so, how are you feeling?”

“Better” Sirius joined him, laying his sweaty head over Remus’s shoulder “please stop flirting with her, let her know you’re not interested or something it’s eating me alive” he pleaded. “Fuck i could have killed her with that throw”

“i know” Remus smirked

“Moony you’re smirking it’s weird” Sirius said sitting up.

“The smirking? why?”

“I just said I almost killed her and you’re practically laughing”

“i do think its funny” Remus rested his hand on Sirius’s lap, making him slightly jolt. “She is very annoying and you look incredibly hot all jealous and murdery over some stupid girl” Remus said, his fingers poking Sirius’s face.

“Fuck you” Sirius laughed, moving his face to the left.

“if you insist… i’ll be waiting in the dorm, James will probably kill himself after the team loss and Pete will be busy reviving him so I think we have some time.”

“Moony?”

“Mhm?”

“Next time she bats her eyes i’ll kill her right there and then.”

“Oh I am so looking forward to it.” And with a tender kiss, Sirius was left alone in the lockeroom one again.

oc posting time. i came up with all of these literally today-

Ice Bag (they/them): A plastic bag of ice of somewhat short height. The top half of the bag is tied up in a sort of pony tail. ice water pools in the bottom of the bag. their left arm is torn off, and where it should be there is a patch of duct tape to patch the hole. after waking up one day missing an arm and with no memory as to how they got there. this is especially strange as they are a plastic bag in a magic world with a notable lack of plastic or anything resembling the 21st century we’re all familiar with. Now, with several other objects alongside them, they must figure out what happened to them, and where they even came from. 

WyrmScale (he/him): A dull, red, scale, just like that of a Greater Wyrm. The scale is very very tough, and while still marked with several scratches, actually destroying the scale would be very difficult.  It’s one word, not two. The Scale part is capitalized though, make sure you get it right. Otherwise you might meet the sharp end of WyrmScale’s sword. WyrmScale is a high ranking adventurer, known for several great feats of killing monsters. While his skill with a sword is undeniable, being nearly indestructible makes an easy confidence boost, although maybe a bit too much, as WyrmScale will gladly rush into even the most dire of fights. he does technically have magical ability, however he uses all of it to boost his combat strength. 

Tome (she/they): A mystical tome of the dark arts. The cover is a light purple, with strange, hypnotic patterns that seem to move if you look at them too long. contained inside are many dark and evil spells that are not for the faint of heart. Tome would rather be ruling the world as an Evil Empress right now. And they totally would be, if they could actually read the spells inside of herself! since her eyes are on her front cover, she can’t actually read the spells written on her pages, but they hope to someday find a way, since nobody really wants to take a look for her. Despite not knowing the spells inside of her, they are quite brushed up on other magic for the day when they do actually learn their own contents, and they are the group’s spellcaster. 

Broom (he/they): A simple wooden broom, with a sweeper at the top end.  Broom isn’t a particularly skilled fighter, nor are they exceedingly great at magic, but at least they’re fast! Broom has a natural ability to fly, a gift going back generations in their family. Broom really would rather avoid all fighting, but considering that nobody can catch them, he makes a quite good scout, which is their purpose in the group. 

Potion (she/her): A round flask with a stopper at the top. contained inside is a green fluid. drinking this fluid would give the user the ability to jump quite high, although Potion has never let anyone do this. I wonder what it tastes like...? A disgraced alchemy student, Potion has set out on a journey to prove themselves to the academy. While her own contents are strictly forbidden for anyone to touch, the other potions she can make are all vastly helpful to the group. So IBS really stands for a medical condition called Irritable Bowel Syndrome, which Remus knew. Instead he told Sirius (who spread it around to other unsuspecting victims) that it meant Inevitable Ball Squash so he’d use the term a lot (bc in this world, we’re imagining Sirius complaining about how much his junk hurts every time he flies ALL THE TIME… and Remus getting sick of it… and retaliating by telling him a prank that would get Remus to chuckle instead of want to slap him every time he complained about his balls).

Basically Sirius thinks he’s complaining about how uncomfortable his broom 🧹 is, but he’s really announcing he has diarrhea, bloating, and gas.

Jacob really love his sister, they are inseparable since she was born. When he first saw Danique, as a newborn, he swore to Merlin that he would protect her with all cost. One summer after Jacob was treated by R, he was a lot quiet and stayed in his room most of the time. Danique was feeling sad about this, but her dad told her that it is normal for teenagers to spend their time in the bedroom. So she tried to understand and playing with herself instead.

Knowing Jacob was expelled is quite a shock for her since Jacob was always serious about studying and had good grades. She was angry at him for ruining family's peace. He and father had never talk to each other again since that. Even she was angry, she sneaked into his room to talk to him sometimes. Surprisingly, Jacob talked to her. He also told her that he may disappear one day to seek for something and if he found it, it might make the situation better. Having thought about Jacob leaving, she cried and tried to beg him not to go. Jacob lied that he changed his mind and promised to stay. Day 11 - Moving In

Sorry for not updating. I created a really good story for "Road Trip" and "Enchanted Forest" together, but it will be a longer story, so I'll postpone it until later🙂 "It's nothing much compared to our apartment in New York.", Eiji said quietly, opening the door to their new apartment. While he had been treated at a hospital in New York, Eiji had looked for an apartment in Izumo for them. Which hadn't been easy from New York but with Ibe and his family's help, Eiji had finally found one. According to Eiji, it was small, but it was close to his family's home and college. After Eiji had unlocked the door, Ash peeked inside, then entered the apartment and looked around. He instantly liked it. It was small but modern and bright. It didn't have any furniture except for the kitchen that had come fully equipped. They had been lucky to buy it from the previous owner. In total, their apartment had a big living room, two smaller rooms for each of them, the kitchen as mentioned earlier, and one of those Japanese bathrooms he had read about. The living room also had a little balcony directed to the south so that they could enjoy the sun for hours there. He assumed that he wouldn't get shot here. Probably. "Eiji, it's perfect. I love it. It will look really nice once we've settled in." Ash smiled at Eiji, and he returned his smile, obviously relieved that Ash liked it. "I hope so.", Eiji said while looking around the rooms himself. He had only seen photos of it himself, after all. Ash stood behind him, then put an arm around him. "Thank you for all your hard work. Renting an apartment in Izumo while still in New York probably wasn't easy. Sorry that I wasn't able to help you with that." Ash had a guilty conscience because he had done absolutely nothing to help Eiji. "It's fine, Ash.", Eiji assured him. "You needed to rest after such a serious injury. And I haven't done much. My mom and Ibe helped me a lot.", Eiji replied, playing it down instantly. Ash smiled knowingly at him. Sure, his mom and Ibe had probably helped with the paperwork, but Eiji had probably done most of the work, looking for apartments and contacting the landlords and making appointments his mom could go to. Knowing Eiji, he had probably chosen their apartment with great care, knowing perfectly well that Ash had never had a real home, a place where he could relax and be himself. First and foremost, Eiji wanted to create a home, especially for him. A safe haven and a cozy place where he felt protected and comfortable. But playing it down was so like Eiji that Ash couldn't help but smile. "Eiji, you know I don't need a luxury apartment like the one we had in New York. The one in New York had always felt weird to me. I never felt comfortable there; it looked more like a museum than anything else. I felt like a stranger in my own apartment. I like this one much better. It looks bright, comfortable and cozy. And it will even look better when you have decorated it with some of your photos. And turned your room into a little photo studio." "And when you've created a library in your room for all the books, you'll most likely buy.", Eiji added, grinning. "So, which one of the rooms is mine?" _______________________ Ash woke up when the sun rays hit his face. He sat up and looked around in confusion but relaxed again when he saw Eiji next to him. He lay on the makeshift bed on his stomach and was busy making a list while Ash had still been sleeping next to him. "Hey, Ash. You're awake. Welcome to your new life in Izumo." He smiled happily at him before removing some strands from his face. "I'm making a list of things to buy for our apartment.", Eiji explained patiently while he slowly woke up. "Today, we can buy the most important things. I asked my mom for her car. We have a lot of work ahead of us, but I look forward to furnishing and decorating the apartment with you, Ash!" Eiji beamed at him with shining eyes. Ash lived for that innocent look in his eyes and his wide and honest smile.

Maybe one day, he could enjoy life as easily as he did as well. He really hoped so. In the morning, Eiji made a list of things they needed for the kitchen and all the other rooms: smaller furniture like lamps or chairs, cleaning products and a broom as well as a vacuum cleaner. And a ladder and a toolbox. Their top priority was a coffee machine, though. Meanwhile, Ash had measured all of the rooms and had written down all the details on a sheet of paper. Then they discussed which furniture they needed and how to arrange it best in their small apartment. That's a lot to buy." Eiji sighed dramatically but couldn't hide his excitement. "We probably need a whole week for that. It's a good thing we have enough free time at the moment. But that won't be cheap." A deep frown appeared on his forehead while he contemplated how they could afford all of that. "Don't worry about it, Eiji. I'll pay for it. I still have enough money left from my gang leader days. It always hid some money on the side in case of emergencies. That should be enough for all the furniture." "You can't pay for all of it. That's unfair!", Eiji exclaimed stubbornly while his burning brown eyes bored into his. "Eiji, please accept it, ok? It's my way to thank you for saving my life and convincing me to go to Japan with you.", Ash pleaded with him. Then he grinned at him, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "You can pay me back when you're a famous photographer." Eiji still had that stubborn look on his face, but then his features softened, and he quietly nodded. "Fine, I'll accept your offer, but I'll pay you back later." ______________________ After spending several days in DIY stores and furniture stores, their new apartment looked pretty good. Ash had put up most of the furniture himself or with Eiji's help. Eiji's most outstanding talent didn't lie in reading construction manuals and following them; that was for sure. So, while Ash had put up the big furniture like their beds, the wardrobe and the shelves for their living room, Eiji had done the same with their desks and chairs. Eiji had also installed all the lamps, had cleaned their apartment, and put away all their equipment for their kitchen. He also established the coffee machine and the rice cooker. When he was finished, he had helped Ash finish putting up the shelf for their living room. The only thing that their apartment lacked was a couch that would only arrive in the next few days. Then, their apartment would be perfect. Eiji had also framed a few of his pictures and had hung it on several of the walls. Ash loved looking at them. They were bright and cheerful, and reflected the innocent and pure way he saw the world. Eiji had a good eye for detail, and his photos reminded him daily that photos could also be beautiful and create or freeze perfect, unforgettable memories forever. By the time they finished, their clothes were dirty; their faces were smeared with dirt, and droplets of sweat were running down their faces. Still, despite all the effort and the hard work he had done these last few days, Ash had never enjoyed himself more. He loved furnishing their apartment because it felt normal. This was the ordinary life he had always dreamed of. It felt great. And he loved watching Eiji walking around their apartment in deep concentration. He always got that cute frown on his face when he did that. He also loved how Eiji was humming to himself, smiling all the time. Somehow his smile had become even warmer since he was in Japan. Maybe because he was back in his hometown or perhaps because he knew they were safe now. Eiji was enjoying himself, too. It was visible in the happy glow in his eyes that made them shine a golden brown and in his posture, his good mood. And, Ash had to admit, Eiji looked really cute when all sweaty and dirty. That was a part of him he hadn't seen yet
