Here’s Cole in a hanbok!! Ninjago takes inspiration from many places, but it probably takes the most inspiration from East Asia, particularly Japanese and Chinese cultures. I’ve seen many drawings of the Ninja in kimonos and occasionally hanfu, so I wanted to draw Cole in a hanbok, or Korean traditional clothing. Korea is another East Asian country between Japan and China, so I thought it would be cool for him to wear another kind of traditional clothing.

Everytime I draw Lloyd he looks different I drew my own reference of s11 Lloyd. It’s pretty simplistic bc it would make sense that he wears clothing that allows him to move fast… maybe the design will change.. or not. Who knows?

Nezha from Monkie Kid!!!! He showed up for only 10 minutes in the entire season but I still love him.

There are so many emotions running through my head. However, the strongest emotion I can feel right now is gratitude. Billy Kametz brought so many characters to life with his talent, including the Six-Ear Macaque from Monkie Kid, whom I especially loved watching. I think it’s because of his relatable personality and story, along with his interactions with the characters, which were made possible with Billy’s voice. I always smiled every time Macaque showed up, ready to cause trouble for the heroes. Thank you Billy, for bringing me and countless others joy with your work. You will be missed very much.

It was @sunntownn ‘s birthday so I drew her Transformers Prime OC, Blair, as a birthday present. Also their design is awesome - especially the dark energon earring- so I had lots of fun!!

Work in Progress- Zane

I don’t know if anyone cares but I have an update on my drawing of Zane’s hanbok. I’m redrawing Zane and his hanbok bc my art style has drastically changed over the last 3 months. Every time I look at my current drawing, I feel mental pain. Honestly, I already have his hanbok design so it shouldn’t take long to draw and color.
