COMEDK UGET 2025 Exam Date Announced – Check Schedule & Updates Now
The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has officially announced the exam date and detailed schedule for the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2025. COMEDK UGET is one of the most important entrance exams for engineering aspirants in Karnataka and other states, as it provides access to over 150 engineering colleges affiliated with the consortium.

COMEDK UGET 2025 Exam Pattern
The COMEDK UGET 2025 will be conducted in a computer-based format. It will consist of 180 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) equally divided among three core subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Physics – 60 Questions
Chemistry – 60 Questions
Mathematics – 60 Questions
Each question carries one mark, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers. This provides candidates with the opportunity to attempt all questions without fear of penalty.
The duration of the examination will be 3 hours (180 minutes). Candidates will be allowed to choose between different shifts:
Morning Shift: 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM
Afternoon Shift: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Evening Shift: 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM
The exam will be conducted in English language only, and candidates will need to report at their respective centers at least one hour before the exam.
Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the exam, candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility requirements for COMEDK UGET 2025:
Nationality: Candidates must be Indian nationals. Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) may also apply.
Educational Qualification: The applicant must have passed the second PUC/10+2 higher secondary or equivalent examination recognized by the state or central government, with physics, chemistry, and mathematics as mandatory subjects and English as a language subject.
Minimum Marks: A minimum aggregate of 45% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (40% for SC, ST, and OBC candidates from Karnataka) is required. All three subjects must be passed individually.
Diploma Candidates: Those holding only diploma certificates are not eligible, as COMEDK UGET does not offer lateral entry admission into second-year engineering.
Application Process
The application process for COMEDK UGET 2025 is entirely online. Here's a brief overview:
Registration: Candidates must register on the official COMEDK website by providing basic details and creating a user ID and password.
Form Filling: Complete the application form with personal, academic, and contact details.
Document Upload: Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and other relevant documents.
Application Fee Payment: Pay the non-refundable application fee via online payment gateways. The fee is ₹1,950 for COMEDK alone, or ₹3,200 if appearing for both COMEDK and Uni-GAUGE.

Admit Card (Test Admission Ticket)
Admit cards will be available for download starting April 30, 2025. The admit card, also known as the Test Admission Ticket (TAT), is mandatory for entry into the exam center. It contains important details such as the candidate's roll number, exam center, shift timing, and exam-day guidelines.
Candidates must also carry a valid photo ID proof (such as Aadhar card, PAN card, passport, or driving license) along with their admit card.
Answer Key & Result

The results will be declared on May 24, 2025, and candidates can download their rank cards from the official portal using their login credentials. This score will be used for participating in the centralized counseling process.
Counseling Process
The counseling process will begin after the results are announced. COMEDK will notify the dates for counseling on its official website. Counseling will include steps like document verification, choice filling, seat allotment, and fee payment.
Candidates are required to register separately for counseling and should keep their documents ready, including rank card, admit card, 10th and 12th marksheets, photo ID, and caste/category certificates if applicable.
