the rage I feel when reading Blood of Olympus chapters 45-56 is almost equivalent in magnitude to the absolute joy I experience when reading The Last Olympian chapters 1-23.

remember when percabeth was good? when they meant the world to each other but had other people they cared about (nico, for one. both of them. so much), other worries and other storylines aside from their romantic plot? and when nico's completed arc wasn't repeated for no reason other than to dump more trauma on the youngest character in the series? when background characters were included in the story not for all the unnecessary last minute romantic subplots but because they were fun and fascinating to learn more about? and were actually friends with main characters? remember when grover was percy and annabeth's best friend forever? and antagonists were actually interesting and intimidating and had compelling goals? and the story revolved around friendship and family and loyalty? and death was definite and loss was palpable and battles were thrilling?

My Weirdest thoughts about TOA

i Started with 3below then i Watched Trollhunters so my thoughts on Certain character Like Steve a bit changed doesn't mean i don't Love them all anyways here were my thought about First watching Tales of Arcadia

good catch! i figured rodney had less screentime and thus was more bearable. although i hate them both, dave has to take more credit for being the worst PI character. his gimmick lasts an entire season. at least rodney doesn’t really engage with the girls he likes, if that makes sense. he just mildly annoys them. dave just cannot take no for an answer and, again, HIS GIMMICK LASTS AN ENTIRE SEASON and i am SO TIRED of him.

But I feel like people should notice and have opinions about just how many times Horizon Forbidden West puts an emphasis on Carja soldiers who were actively invading and willing high ranked participants in the mass killing of foreign state civilians via the Red Raids.

And that emphasis is that they’re “one of the good ones” who actually had to be there as a willing high ranked participant in order to make sure no one too crazy was in control.

Don’t want things getting crazy amiright.

And actually! The people being invaded appreciated them for being a voice for peace as an invading soldier, and it’s just so cool that they were a force for good in this invading army!

Really they were heroes going out to fight for what they believe in and rep their nation the way it should be repped.

Anyway, the Carja isn’t real and HFW is pure fantasy, but military propaganda is alive and well.
