|| "...you thought that you'd sail this life alone; fearless in the face of any storm. No one saw the hidden man inside was singing out for so much more; for so much more. Like a siren song; it was your siren song. Across the raging sea, you call to me and I will call to you; long before you even knew my name, I held your heart...." || Chloë Agnew, Across the Raging Sea

Father John Misty, Chloë and the following 20th century
Father John Misty, Chloë and the following 20th century
Father John MistyPhoto: Ward and Kweskin/Nicholas Ashe Bateman Art dealing with the breakdown of society can be quite shocking. Josh Tillman (aka Father John Misty), however, revels in the decadence of culture, morality – the disintegration of everything, really – like it’s the sweetest thing in the world. His music can sound dark, cynical, even conceited at times; but the results are always…

It was this video specifically that gave me the idea to give Eileen an Irish accent. The voice of the woman on the right, Chloë Agnew, is what I headcanon Eileen’s voice to sound like btw

A: How did you come up with the title to winter light? And Z: Major character death–do you ever write/read it? Is there a character whose death you can’t tolerate?
A: like most of my titles it came from a song, lol. I was skimming through my music library and found Winter Light by Chloë Agnew, a cover of the song from Secret Garden and it just clicked :)
Z: I don't typically write character deaths, but .... 🤐
I will read the, even though I know it usually dampens my mood for the rest of the day lol. Though I can't bring myself to read most of them a second time like I do most stories. 🥺
Rowan and Aelin. It messes me up big time. Anybody else I can live with but not either of them. I literally had to read the last page of KoA first to make sure they lived before I could read the rest of the book.

Kari Wahlgren featuring Chloë Agnew 'On My Own' video premiere
Kari Wahlgren featuring Chloë Agnew ‘On My Own’ video premiere
Music-News.com is proud to host the exclusive world premiere of ‘On My Own’ by Kari Wahlgren featuring Chloë Agnew. Every great glam metal album needs an epic power ballad. On Slaughter’s underrated 1999 set Back To Reality, that track was the aching “On My Own.” Like the slower compositions by the unrepentantly badass Las Vegas band, “On My Own” is intense, dramatic, surprisingly lovelorn, and…
