Laughter erupted from everyone

He jumped up with a huge blush on his face and offered you his hand with a shy smile

After you wiped away your tears you took his hand and he hoisted you up

“Hey I’m really really sorry about hitting you”

“No, it’s alright, but you can make it up to me with some ramen.”

“O-okay”

He’s a stuttering, blushing mess

“So what’s your name?”

He lifts both him and you back into the chocobo, and y’all all headed to town to get some yummy ramen

Noctis

Wouldn’t talk for at least 5 minutes because his brain has to process the fact that your not fooling around with him.

“Wow… and you’re sure?”

It’s not that he doesn’t believe you. It’s just that he doesn’t know what else to say because he can’t handle all of those feelings at once.

He feels happiness because he would love to have his own little family but on the other hand he feels guilty because he know how much of a burden it can be to be part of the royal family.

“I hope I’ll be able to teach the baby everything I know… I want it to be prepared for that life…and I want it to live their life at its fullest..”

Prompto

He’d be completely overwhelmed about it at first. Walking from one side of the room to the other.

“Holy..and you’re sure?!.. I mean you wouldn’t joke about that. Would you??”

When he finally realizes that you’re not joking he'd definitely tear up because he realizes he’ll have his own family for the first time in his life.

“You know.. i don’t have that much to offer but I promise that I’ll try my best to be a good dad…”

He wouldn’t say anything.

You had been in the car for HOURS.

It could sometimes be incredibly boring, and you wished you could knock out like Noctis. Oh how you yearned to sleep peacefully like that.

Alas, here you were. Squished between a snoozing prince and a huge burly man, who was also deeply into his book.

Ignis was driving( per usual) and Prompto was busy taking pictures in the passenger seat, hanging dangerously far out of the car. You wished you had something to entertain yourself, but you forgot your book, your knitting is in the trunk (and you didn't want to make Iggy pull over just for you) and your phone had no interesting games on it. You sighed and leaned forward, placing your elbows on your knees. You stared at the slightly dirty ground of the Regalia and tried to think of what to do to entertain yourself.

What you didn't see, was a certain someone looking at you through the rearview mirror, hearing your sigh.

"Miss Y/n?" Ignis called to you over the wind. You perked up, meeting his gaze in the mirror and seeing his eyes almost twinkle.

"Would you be interested in taking control of the music for this journey?" as soon as he said that you beamed up at him, forcing his lips to twitch up-wards at seeing your reaction.

"I thought you'd never ask" you replied, graciously taking the cord Prompto was handing you. He had overheard the Ignis's suggestion, and gave you a reassuring thumbs up

"You've just been given a very important honor." he bowed a little as you finished the cord transaction with him. You smiled at him and chuckled, watching him turn back around in his seat to continue taking pictures.

"Make sure its not to loud, you'll wake sleeping beauty and make him cranky" a grumble came from beside you, and you glanced over to see Gladio still invested in his book.

"Okay, just to make sure, you said play it as loud as possible right?" This earned you a harsh eye-roll form Gladio and you snickered, going back to your phone to look for music while he commented about how childish that remark was.

Looking through your songs, you realized you had so many possible options. But one song instantly stuck out to you as you were scrolling down the list of downloaded music.

Barbie Girl by Aqua.

Currently the hood was down, and causing your hair to whip around in your face. If you played this song, it would definitely be heard and turn some heads.

You knew what you had to do.

You clicked on the song and turned the volume up a couple notches, getting settled in your seat and ready to loudly sing some music.

The songs opening lyrics started playing, and you took a moment to observe everyone's reaction. Ignis sighed and lifted one hand to rest on the door, leaning his head into his palm with a resigned look, his expression filled with regret. Prompto turned around to gape at you, giggling and putting his camera away, also getting ready. You had started to turn to see Gladio's reaction, but instead you felt it.

Gladio literally shoved you so hard you almost fell on the ground. This had also made it so you fell into Noctis, waking him up with a snort. But neither you or Gladio noticed, being to absorbed in shoving each other and laughing breathlessly. But you blocked his attack's just in time to start your karaoke.

Then the most beat drop happened. And the party started

You are Prompto started yelling out the lyrics, holding up fake microphones up to each other. You were so absorbed in each other that you almost didn't notice a small voice start to join you and Prom, and it was coming from beside you.

Noctis was sleepily singing along.

You and Prompto grinned widely at each other, both of your faces filled with pure joy, and continued to sing your hearts out.

Gladio released a long groan from beside you as Noctis started to sing louder, getting more into it. Eventually you three were bouncing up and down, singing out for the world to hear.

And the world did get a chance to hear, because Ignis rolled up to get gas all of a sudden.

So from an outsiders perspective, a car just rolled up that was literally shaking from how loud the music was, holding 3 full-grown lunatics singing, and 2 very tired looking men.

You loved these guys.

Ignis turned the car off just as the song finished, heaving another breathe out before getting up out of the car to get gas. You and Prompto were giggling, and Noctis was genuinely smiling.

He even got woken up before he was ready, so his reaction was definitely a surprise but a welcome one.

Gladio suddenly grabbed you and shoved your head into his arms. You squealed and punched at him while he heartily laughed, giving your head a good noogie and messing up your hair in the process. Noctis tried to grab your waist but Gladio held firm, and past Gladio's strong muscles you heard Prom wheezing out laughs.

Ignis didn't let you have the aux again after that.

But it was so worth it.

In Sola & Nox verse, how old was she when she had her whoops babies the first time? Was she already married to Libs or did they have to organise a super rushed wedding too?

Sola was 21 when she and Lib had their whoops twins. By this point they’ve only been dating a year, though Sola’d been openly flirting with Lib for a year before that.

Sola and Libertus end up proposing to each other shortly after Sola discovers that she’s pregnant. Honestly, neither of them are in a hurry to get married, Galahdian culture doesn’t put emphasis on parents being married like Lucian culture does, and Sola’s never given a damn about Lucian nobility’s delicate sensibilities before, she’s sure as shit not gonna start now. Besides, it’s not like she’s the only one at court to have a kid out of wedlock - Plenus Egestas near had a stroke when his daughter wound up pregnant with no father in sight.

Besides, anyone talking shit about Sola’s children being bastards within earshot of any of the royal family will find themselves regretting that in short order, because Sola’s reaction will be the least of their worries compared to her male relatives.

But both Libertus and Sola are soldiers. They know the risks of their profession all too well. They marry (Galahdian-style at first, the Royal Wedding can come after Sola gives birth because she’s not going to rush the planning just to squeeze into a dress) mostly to give their children the extra legal protections afforded under Lucian law. And so no one in court can get it into their heads to try to deny Libertus parental rights simply because he wasn’t her husband. Is it paranoid? Perhaps, but Sola would rather be safe than sorry when it comes to Libertus and her kids, in the event she’s no longer around to protect them.

I haven’t decided when Sola winds up pregnant the first time exactly, but in the theme of surprise pregnancies at the worst possible time… she probably finds out while out on rotation on the front lines. At first she thinks it might be a stomach bug or hangover, she and the off duty glaives at the time did have a few drinks and she wasn’t the only one feeling it the next morning because Sola’s regeneration doesn’t actually fix dehydration, rip.

Only the stomach bug doesn’t go away. On the second day Sola goes to the medics because if it is a bug then they need to get her on antibiotics or antivirals asap.

Surprise, it’s not a bug!

Sola’s immediately yanked from the front and placed on desk duties, because if Sola miscarries Titus wants to be able to tell her family that it was not because of anything related to the glaives. He does not want that headache.

Titus also yanks Sola’s Retinue, because he’s not an idiot, there’s no way they’d be able to focus in the field. Libertus is yanked too, as the presumptive father and as Nyx’s only Braincell.

Titus also, politely, requests Sola tell her relatives sooner rather than later about her pregnancy. The King is aware that Sola was yanked from the front for medical reasons, and isn’t actually entitled to know anything beyond that unless Sola volunteers it, but Titus asks that Sola spare him the stress of dealing with her panicky father and uncles.

Nox, of course, is already aware, having been on the front lines with her when it was discovered, with that particular piece of gossip ripping through the gleeful glaives faster than a wildfire in Cavaugh in a drought.

Sola refuses to say anything until Cid arrives in the Citadel, claiming she only wants to explain once - a bald-faced lie, she just wants to get everyone at the same time.

Noctis lights up in excitement at the announcement he’s going to be an uncle. Ignis’ jaw drops in surprise before he recovers, and Gladio actually falls into a wall. (If Prompto has joined the Chocobros at this point, he’ll flail.)

Ardyn goes statue-still, which is probably the best reaction of shock Sola will ever get out of him, before he’s on his feet embracing Sola in a hug and spinning her around. Titus just looks relieved that he doesn’t have to keep dodging questions about Sola’s health anymore. Penny, meanwhile, is eyeing Sola like she’s already measuring her for new outfits.

Nothing can shock Clarus as much as meeting his own grandchildren and then his son in the span of fifteen minutes. Instead, he looks wryly amused, knowing he has no leg to stand on when it comes to having kids out of wedlock. Cor is oh-so-slightly wide-eyed as he processes the announcement, but Cor.exe has very much stopped working, please check back in about ten minutes.

Cid, of course, is laughing his ass off, wheezing something along the lines of ‘I hope you have kids just like you’-

Regis runs a hand down his face, exasperated and resigned and reluctantly wry. Of all the things for his daughter to surprise him with. He opens his mouth, starts to lecture her, only for Sola to raise an unimpressed brow at him, retorting that Regis has no room to lecture her when she was born only a couple months after he and Mama married.

And Six, she looks so much like her mother in that instant - Aulea never had much patience for his dramatics either - that Regis feels a swell of love and fondness. And Sola is clearly so happy about it, so Regis places his own reservations aside and congratulates her and Libertus instead.

Of course, then Sola finds out she’s having twins. And the temptation is too much for her to resist, so she and Libertus are the only ones that actually know she’s having twins.

(Nox and Axis suspect. Nox because he actually has memories of being pregnant from previous Queens, and Axis because he’s a father of triplets and has passing familiarity with the signs of a multiple pregnancy.)

(Ardyn also suspects something, but only because he can feel his niece’s gleeful anticipation. Being a fellow chaos gremlin, Ardyn refuses to spoil Sola’s fun.)

Meanwhile, the glaives in Insomnia get to experience the sheer terror of having a very pregnant Sola as their drill instructor, Abyssus and her Retinue all too willing to be her assistants in delivering her Training from Ifrit’s Pyre. >:)

Haven’t decided on names yet, alas.

I have honestly thought of this for a stupid long time. Given that Cindy is basically Cid’s baby girl and has been protective of her since she was born; more so after her parents’ parting. She is literally the only family he has left, so there’s some high level of protectiveness going on. Sure, he knows she can take care of herself and can no doubt put the hurt on someone if they step out of line, but still, he’s always going to be there for that added support in her corner. That being said, let's get to it. Also, you could ask Cid directly over at mastermechaniic ( totally not a shameless plug ) but it's cool x3 Hennyway...

Prompto:

I think right out of the gate, Cid would give Prompto a hard time, knowing from jump that he had a crush on Cindy. But it's mostly in a lighthearted "hazing" kinda way. Writing him opposite @battleshot is pretty fun as it seems Cid thrives on getting those nervous reactions out of him, it makes Prom seem more genuine in his eyes. He honestly thinks it's too wholesome for words and may also think Prom might not be able to handle a woman like Cindy ( We know this to be false as Prom is very capable owo ) but does see them as a good match.

Gladio: 

Ok tbh If Cid caught the way Gladdy was trying to flirt with Cindy the first time they met, on sight he'd snatch that boy up with the quickness. I think Gladio kinda reminds Cid of himself in his younger younger, and not in the most positive way. However, there's also that slight inner conflict given his connection and friendship with Clarus. Like, he knows Gladio is a good kid, that he's intelligent and would probably be as protective over Cindy as he is, but, ya know there's probably gonna be that "I'm watchin' you O.o" vibe for a little bit. And as I'm typing this, I'm not sure if I've really bugged @strictomiles with Paw-Paw yet.... should get on that XD

Ignis: 

Not as apprehensive as the rest of the boys. It’s safe to say that Iggy has garnered some brownie ( kinda pun kinda intended) points in the beginning. Knowing Ignis seems to be the more level-headed one out of the bunch ( also considering @tenebriism has occasionally.. I wouldn't say bribed Cid with desserts on Wire buuuuuut I'm not gonna say it's not a good strategy either >.> ) it puts his mind more at ease in a way. Also given how dedicated they both are to their professions, and how they carry that level of loyalty and drive, to him it just makes sense when it happens. But Iggy's still gonna get the talk cause everyone gets the talk x3

All in all, the main takeaway is while he knows Cindy can handle her own relationships, both the good and bad that come with it. What he is more hesitant about with the Chocobros is the consideration of their fealty to the crown. Working for the Lucian House in the past, knowing the path they're on and the sacrifices they might have to make, including the possibility of them dying in service to it. I think that's the kind of pain he doesn't wish Cindy to go through again. However, it does give him some comfort knowing there could be someone for Cindy when he himself has to leave her.

No one remind me about ffxv ohh. Ohh this fucking game. Not that i need reminders with how much i think about it but like god damn. God damn this game. You have no idea how much I love Ardyn. This plague rat of a man is so dramatic and so seductive for no fucking reason. None of his plans ever include corrupting Noctis. Even in the Omen trailer where we’re shown the worst timeline of corrupt Noct Ardyn is nowhere to be seen. Which might be to avoid spoilers and he could have been the dog but im not buying that

His whole fucking plan hinged on the idea that Noctis would finally come and kill him. When Noctis god stuck and couldnt get to Titan (or run away from Titan) or when god stuck cause needed specific ore for the boat, Ardyn literally appeared on a helicopter like hey :)

You want me to taxi you to the temple which oh so coincidentally has that ore? Sure no problem. And he’s so sleazy and creepy throughout the whole ordeal its so fucking funny. He behaves like a serial killer or a pedophile and he’s neither. He meets up with us and calls himself a man of no consequence like he’s a snake trying to make us bite the apple but it leads nowhere. He’s not corrupting Noctis. At most he’s antagonising Noctis with the Prompto situation cause Noctis looks like his brother and he’s very much not happy about it. All he does is leads us by hand to the crystal and then patiently waits until we return. He is such a dramatic ass I love him. There was no reason for seducing Noctis but he did it anyway. He didnt even use the fucking familiarity he achieved with the chocobros. He didnt use it against them in any way. He just helped them and then went oh im evil now!

Ardyn is a hilarious villain cause at the point when he actively antagonises Noctis he cant even get any satisfaction out of it cause Noctis was depressed before the game started. Like he’s a workaholic who did all this course of where Noctis is going to go and how to make it all the more painful to him and it doesnt fucking work cause Noctis was miserable long before this you cant make this shit up. The worst thing he did to Noctis was kill Luna and Noctis wasnt even awake for it!!! Only Ignis saw that!! Ardyn has worked so hard made so many big plans only to realise Noctis doesnt have many fun emotional reactions. He put him alone into the Keep taunting him and even then Noctis isnt that scared because he’s already fucking spent emotionally. The Keep chapter is always deeply funny to me cause it shows us the fragment of basically how the game would have went if it was like the Omen. And Noctis is so fucking competent!! When no one is babysitting him he’s forced to do shit and he does it well, he just actively hates doing it. Relatable king

Noctis: 

Noctis was taking a stroll down the Citadel quarters and was surprised to hear a melody he would previously hum with his father as a child. In the public sensory garden outside the quarters, Noctis stumbled across a young, quirky looking musician, strumming along to the nostalgic melody that Noctis wished he’d never forgotten. Still, this was a pleasant way to reminisce about the old times. The musician’s construction of the melody was met with warm praise - Ignis and many other royal advisers were seen clapping in the distance. Noctis was seconds away from departing the garden when the busker delicately removed her straw hat and butterfly rim sunglasses, smiling sweetly at the dazed Prince……his jaw dropped as he suddenly felt warm and vulnerable inside - twas love at first sight. Gladio

Gladio was patrolling a small estate located on the outskirts on Insomnia with the immortal Cor. Gladio loved his duties and the paycheck wasn’t bad either, it’s just, this particular area was always a drag. The clock stroke 1pm and many local homeworkers emerged from their front doors, longing to bake in the summer heat for duration of their lunch break. A couple of doors down from Gladio’s port of duty saw a woman in her mid 20′s sit on her front lawn with an impressive black acoustic guitar - it’s polished shine almost as photo worthy as the glossy black ringlets of hair on her head. As she began to play, passers by were taken aback by the aggressive melody she improvised before effortlessly roaring a G note. Gladio suddenly ‘woke’ and glanced at the musician before calling Cor over to his side during the song that enticed many, who crowded around the front lawn to catch a glimpse of such magnificence. 

Gladio: ‘You ever seen this woman before?’

Cor: ‘Well damn, what a sight. I must say, in all my years I’ve gone living, I’ve never witnessed such a crowd on this street.’

Gladio: ‘This crowd counts for something. She’s pure beauty……’Once the striking woman could convince the applauding crowd to settle post song, she focused her attention on Gladio, acknowledging his presence with a cheeky wink. 

Prompto:

Sunshine Prompto was enjoying a bro-date with Noctis at Golden Quay’s annual summer festival. They spent a good hour taking advantage of all the food stalls and taking in the sounds of the seagulls in the skies and ocean waves, accompanied with the ambience of laughter and joy from the crowds. All of a sudden, that ‘ambience’ became distorted and overshadowed by the sound of a girl’s husky tone, singing to her hearts content, strumming to the chocobo theme, occasionally switching things up with her harmonica.

Prompto was immediately drawn to the standalone busker, with no donations, he slowly walked ever the inch closer and was also in awe of her beauty, as he first gazed upon her gorgeous caramel brown skin and luscious brown/black windswept locks, completely in sync with her musical beat. It was as if nature absorbed her rendition of the classic chocobo hit. Prompto removed his sunglasses and gaped, with no fear of his obvious affections, he plucked up the courage to speak to this lady once she finished up the song, offering to treat her to the highly sought chocobo candyfloss before the endless compliments came in.

Noctis cheered him on from afar and let him be, even HE could tell this could quite possibly be the ultimate cliché that is love at first sight for his dear friend Prompt. 

Ignis:

To render the likes of man made of steel Ignis would be a privilege to all. The clock stroke 5pm, which meant Ignis could finish his duties for the day. To be fair, 5pm was an early finish for this dedicated royal employee but it was Friday and although he’d rarely admit it, he was tired. Ignis took his leave from the citadel and returned to his personal quarters - a small but luxury apartment overlooking the streets of the upper class citizen boutiques and his ‘go-to’ bistro. Ignis would often retreat to his balcony to take advantage of the view that screamed middle to upper class city living - an argument over where a man’s wife wishes to be dined and a bunch of men in suits gathered in the street’s finest concessions for after work drinks, laughing and joking, as if to reward themselves for their day of grafting for the Royals - you could write a book out of Ignis’s balcony observations.

This particular time, greatly differed……..Ignis was forced to remove the glasses that kept his world clear as crystal, in an attempt to absorb the euphoria he experienced upon hearing a mezzo soprano voice evidence their beautiful range, switching to falsetto at the most unexpected moments - it was a completely improvised melody, without the aid of a musical instrument. Ignis didn’t need to take a closer ‘look’ for he needed to be able to ‘hear’ the stupendous sounds that enticed him so. Once the wondrous acapella ended, Ignis immediately departed from his home comforts to discover the ‘voice’ behind what he would describe as pure brilliance. The enchanting musician had only took several steps away from her area of performance when she was halted by a gentle, yet passionate grab of her shoulder as he almost begged for her name. As she turned and took one look into his eye he exhaled, weak at the knees he had instantly fell for this woman……

Hi Anon, thanks for the ask!

I don’t think that this is a plausible scenario for one main reason: the Chocobros never really trust Ardyn. 

They know they have no real choice but to accept his…help, we’ll call it…and they obviously don’t like it. And Ardyn never really makes himself out as somebody they should trust–he knows they have to follow along and I think he enjoys that power. Even before the guys know of his connection to the Empire, they’d make sure any talk about anything potentially revealing of Lucis’ royal history/military history was kept quiet. 

And any S/O along on the road trip would (hopefully) know to keep quiet. 

That said, if they did happen to chatter on about it or leave the book out, Ardyn would likely only comment something along the lines of “don’t believe everything they put into storybooks”. Despite his own feelings on the matter, he couldn’t risk them connecting him to the royal line just yet.

Tickle fights are kind of a typical Tuesday night for the two of you. It would start out cute and innocent, the two of you cuddling against one another on the couch. Watching t.v or playing a round of King’s Knight, when someone’s hand would stray to a rib or hip, and from there it was on.

The two of you would start a tickle war at any time, no holds bars! It was the quickest way to brighten the other day!

A war could happen at any time, yet typical more wars would start by one of you laying on top of the other and suddenly demanding all the attention. If all of the attention was known right away, all it would take would be a hand to wander and than…

“No…” A bunch of laughter as hands to fend away the attack. “Fair!”

Yet as the winner of the war often states between treaty kisses, “All’s fair in love and war.”

The first time you did it, it was a lazy day around the house. You were laying on the man, both of you laying on the couch, catching up on this weeks reading, your hands drawing lazy circles on the tan skin beneath you. When your nails ran across the dip, where those powerful legs met that strong torso.

You got a twitch. You racked your fingers across the space again, and that same twitch. One more time and than a strong hand grabbed your own.

“What are you doing?”

“Nothing.”

“Cut it out.”

“Nah, I’m good.”

Your fingers rubbed against the space again, and next thing you know, you were tossed on your back, and fingers were dragging against your ribs and sides, dragging laughs from you time and time again.

Now, your fingers would find that dip time and time again. It was a mission, you’d always strike when he least expected it. Fresh from the shower, watching t.v, just standing there. You’d normally get about a good few chuckles from him before he would flip the scripts and you’d be on the receiving it.

Ignis

You had never expected for Ignis to be ticklish, much less on the sides and back of his neck.  The first time you dragged your nails against those light freckles, and he twitched and chuckled breaking away from you, you honestly froze uncertain of what just happened.

“Darling…” Ignis called, staring at you in confusion.

“Oh my gods, that’s so cute!”

Now it was your secret weapon, if he seemed to concentrated or too tense, you’d move up behind the man, running a nail across those freckles, before getting a deep chuckle.

Ignis never seemed to mind, in all honesty, he actually rather enjoyed it, as you only seemed to do it when you were worried about him or believed himself to be overexerting himself. Besides, there were quite a few times where those skilled fingers of his own, would rack down your sides to drag your own laughter to join his.

You had been acting a bit strange, being very quiet and distant. When Noctis asked and you told him that your best friend was getting married and you were afraid that you wouldn’t find someone yourself, he kind of relates to you. Being engaged to Luna, he wonders if he can actually have someone romantically or if he’s doomed to always have political alliances since Lunafreya is more like a sister to him. Noctis was never super into dating, but when you talk to him he wonders if he has feelings for you. “Yeah, I know how you feel, Y/N...”

Prompto

At first, Prompto is kind of outraged that you could think that, and it’s kind of endearing how the mere idea that you don’t see how wonderful you are frustrates him. After that follows a very honest and genuine conversation in which you compliment each other, open your hearts and speak up all your insecurities, only for the other to be there for comfort. After that long and serious conversation that develops in jokes, playfulness and afection, you both feel a lot better. “What?! Y/N, you’re amazing, never forget that! But... I kinda know how you feel...”

Ignis 

Ignis is worried about you, seeing as you’re a bit isolated as of late. Having heard the news about your friend’s wedding himself, he realizes that it’s bothering you. After giving you some time alone, Ignis approaches you and confronts the situation, asking you if you want to talk. Once you voice your struggles and insecurities, that Ignis intently listens to, he’s there to comfort you and remind you how great you are. He’s always very polite and correct, but Ignis has a lot of good things to say about you and he doesn’t hesitate to tell them to you. “Honestly, Y/N, I think you’ve a very interesting person with a kind soul and a curious mind. In my opinion, anyone would be lucky to have you as their partner”

Gladio

Gladio doesn’t want to wait or let you dwell in your insecurities, he immediately goes to you and asks why you’re suddenly so glum. When you tell him that you’re a bit jealous of your friend getting married and overall worried that you might not be good enough to find your own partner, Gladio lets out a sarcastic chuckle. He is very bold and transparent as he tells you how impossible that seems to him, that you actually have a lot of admirers even if you don’t know, and he’ll joke around a little bit to make you smile. “If only you knew how many people are attracted to you, Y/N... You’re great, so no more long faces, okay?”

Hi so I wanted to do something like this for awhile. I was originally gonna make this for the Chocobros but then I realized that there’s nothing like this for ff7.

I mean there was one but I can’t find it anymore. Actually, I can’t find their page anymore. I guess they’ve taken down their page? Idk but it sucks that it’s not there anymore.

Reno

• Was very shocked when he found out.

• He isn’t sure on how he feels about it at first.

• He wasn’t planning on having kids.

• At first, He doesn’t think he’d be a good parent because of the things he’s done.

• You might have to snap him back cause he’s frozen for a good while.

• Once he does snap back into reality, he sits down with you, serious. You rarely ever saw him take things seriously before so you knew, he was gonna take this seriously.

• He saids he’ll support whatever decision you make and he won’t leave you if you decide to keep the baby or get an a abortion.

• Ultimately, you do decide to keep the child and true to his word, he stands by you, ready to support you however he can.

• Over time, he starts to like the idea of becoming a father a lot more.

• A tiny little human based on both of y’alls DNA and features, that’s adorable.

• You’ll noticed he acts a like more mature than before. Of course, underneath his bad boy and kinda laziness, lies a man who is soft. But you really noticed that he isn’t slacking off or being irresponsible, he’s really taking it seriously.

• Tries to go to all of you’re appointments, he doesn’t wanna miss a thing. The first time he saw the little dot on the Monitor almost made him tear up.

• Definitely is more careful on missions. He wants to come home to his little one and partner.

• Even before you start showing, he already rubbing you stomach. He wants his kid to know that daddy is here for them and he’ll always be there!

Rude

• Like Reno, he was also very shocked. But unlike Reno, you wouldn’t really know by his face.

• Even though he’s very shocked and slightly scared, he’s very happy about it.

• He’s been wanting to have kids for awhile but wanted to find the right person with and fate told him that this was it.

• He’s already very careful on missions but it’s taken up 500 after he found out. He doesn’t want you raising the child alone.

• He sadly can’t be there to all of your appointments but he’ll make sure your there safe and we’ll call to ask how it went.

• The first time he sees a ultrasound of his baby, he couldn’t hold it any longer.

• He can’t wait to hold his child.

Tseng

• Suprised but very happy!

• It may look like he isn’t happy but he hugs you, letting you know he’s excited about the child and becoming a family.

• Being the head of the Turks, he can’t be there a lot and he’s very sad about it but he’ll make sure that someone will be there will you. For your safety, he does have a lot of enemies.

• Is already getting the best baby supplies for his little one.

• Is a lot more protective over you but not to the point that it becomes overbearing but if it does, he’ll back off.

• Is really nervous about it. He wants to be the best father he can be but him being busy a lot or worrying that he’ll missed the birth, really terrifies him. You’ll always have to reassure him that he’s going to be the best father.

• He likes to rub your stomach a lot. Whether the baby is active or not, he just likes the feeling of the baby and though he is still very nervous, he can’t wait for parenthood.

Elena

• Her reaction is happiness!

• She gets so excited that she hugs you. Very hard.

• There’s a little bundle of joy coming soon and she can’t wait!

• She is already buying baby supplies. She wants to be prepared as possible but also, it’s gets an excuse to buy baby clothes. Can you tell she’s excited?

• Often brags about becoming a mom to her coworkers. She doesn’t care if their annoyed by it. She wants the world know she’s excited about becoming a mom.

• Tries to make you comfortable as possible. Pregnancy is really tiring and she knows that. She makes sure there’s a pillow to make it soothing. Does it always work? It’s a 50/50 but her efforts are amazing.

• She will only touch your stomach if the baby is kicking and by your permission. She likes to feel the baby’s movement. It’s so much joy.

• She hates that she can be with you more but duty calls and she has to be there. Even though, you’re in a safe location (by her request) she can’t help but worry. She worries that she’ll miss the labor and birth and it haunts her. Thankfully, You and Reno & Rude, are there to reassure her and it calms her nerves.

Cissnei

• Her brows are up but her smirk shows.

• She is already a very quiet but her extra quietness makes you nervous. Makes you think she isn’t happy about it.

• But her wrapping her arms around you, quickly dispelling that. She’s thrilled!

• She grew up alone and parentless, she doesn’t want that for her child. So, she’s 1,000 times more careful in battle.

• She doesn’t know a lot about children but she reads a lot of books about babies and how to take care of them.

• She can’t go to a lot of you’re appointments and she’s really sad about that but her job doesn’t work itself, so she has to go but you and the baby are always on her mind.

• She’s always worried about you and the baby. She does have a lot of enemies and they could hurt the both of you if they wanted to and it scares her to no end. She’s always calling you and checking up on you. She’s so paranoid about it that Tseng asks her if he should send someone to watch over you, just in case and she didn’t even hesitate. Even though she’s still scared, it helps that someone is with you while she is away.

• On the rare times she’s home, she’s very sweet to you. You never have to lift a finger when she’s around. It may get a little annoying but you know she means well.

• She is always hesitant to touch your pregnant stomach without your permission. She’s just very nervous and likes to watch you from a far. When you say you want her to feel, she takes the opportunity, though carefully. She loves feeling the child and feeling the kick makes her smile.

• Being with the both of you makes her worries go away. She loves you so much.

Rufus

• He smirks. You’re having his baby? He loves the thought.

• He makes sure you get the best care for yourself and the child. Nothing less for the both of you.

• He can’t be there for any of your appointments, he’s extremely busy and he has to be there for that but someone is always there with you, for protection of course. When he gets back, he’ll always ask how they went. He wants all of the details.

• He wants to be the best father he can be. His father was shit and he wants to break the circle. His kid is gonna be very loved by him.

• He isn’t very affectionate but he doesn’t mind touching your stomach. He doesn’t admit it but he loves feeling his child. He feels it brings him closer to his child.

• He gets the best baby supplies as possible. Nothing less for his kid.

• He’s gonna do his best to teach his kid right from wrong. He doesn’t want them to be like he was when he was younger.

• As you figured out, He’s afraid of becoming his dad so he plans to spend more time with them after there born. he rarely saw his dad growing up and he knows it’ll deeply affect his child if they don’t see him as much, so he’ll spend more time with you and the baby. He’s really excited about it even if he doesn’t show it.

Im gonna answer your second question first. of course I love all of them very much but if I have to decide it's definitely Prompto because he's such a sweetheart with an awesome personality. He's not like an average hero or the average sidekick. He seems like a normal person who struggles with lots of anxieties and struggles throughout the day. He's trying to be the best version of himself and tries to make peace with his imperfections. I can identify with him in many ways which made him one of my comfort characters.

I hope I got it right. I guess you want me to write about their reaction on finding out about their crush's royalty. ✨So here we go✨:

The Chocobros' reaction after they found out that their crush is a royal

I imagine the guys meeting you at a street festival a few days before you were invited to a royal gala by king Regis. You have a great night. You laugh a lot. You're very chill with everyone but you kinda notice how one of them got a bit flirty. You dressed upfor the gala and see said man in the corner of the room.

Noctis:

Noctis was standing beside his father, talking to a bunch of important people

You could tell he wasn't enjoying it at all

When he saw you coming down the stairs he apologized to a countess who was about to tell him something he didn't want to know and head out to you

He seemed to be quiet surprised to see you there

"no way, Y/N! I guess you forgot to tell me, hm?"

He's not angry at you because he understands the struggles of being royal

He smiles at you instead and takes a quick look at his father who was already looking for him

"you wanna sneak out for a while? If I have to shake another hand its gonna fall off"

It made you laugh because you can totally relate to this

Prompto:

His only reason to be at the gala was because Noctis convinced his dad to invite him

Prompto didn't realize that it was you at the first sight

He recognized you at the second though

He's totally surprised, having his mouth wide open for a few seconds until he makes his way towards you

"Y/N! You..what I...you're one of the nobles! I mean you look royal but I didn't know that you were!"

He then realized that you wouldn't be interested in him cause he's just a commoner

He immediately seems to be insecure about being in your presence

He clears his throat before he apologizes

"I'm sorry for yelling at you, I was just hella surprised about that. I'm not a royal, just so you know, I'm just here because Noctis invited me"

He looks at his feet, doesn't know what to say

You reach out your hand to him and ask him if he wants to dance

At first, he didn't notice

He slowly looks up to you and gives you the sweetest smile "well..I guess at least I can try. I'm giving my best not to step on your feet" while he's saying that, he scratches his neck from embarrassment

Ignis:

Ignis came out of the kitchen because one of the waiters was struggling with something

when he saw you coming down the stairs into the ballroom, he just admired your appearance

He recognized you on the second sight

He stopped and raised his eyebrows because he was surprised to see you at this exclusive event

Ignis slowly made his way to you and stopped at the end of the stairs

He then adjusted his glasses before he spoke

"well I guess you left out a little detail on our latest conversations, dear"

Iggy gave you a little smile before he continued

"If you wouldn't mind, I'd love to show you the garden while you are free to tell me about your noble roots"

He offered you his arm before you took the last step

Gladio stood next to Noctis talking to a baron of Lestallum when he recognized you

He had to act like he'd be interested in what the baron told him until he could escape the conversation to head out to you

He raised one eyebrow, crossing his arms, giving you a smile

He slowly walks towards you until he stopped a few steps apart from you

"guess someone forgot to tell me that they're one of the nobles of Lucis"

He's not shocked, just surprised checking your look from head to toe

"didn't recognize you without the ripped jeans at first but I guess this one will also work out if you want to go for a walk with me"

Noctis

Noctis found your reaction to his swift movement unusually. He was only trying to protect you from the attack of a stranded creature. 

The prince asked if something is wrong, but you didn't reply, so he assumed you don’t want to tell him. 

Assuming that you would not tell him, he asked Ignis to look into your past. When he got the info about your abusive ex, Noctis was angry; moreover, he realized the reason behind your odd reaction that day. You thought he was going to hurt you, and despite understanding your reasoning, the prince was upset. 

He immediately messaged you to meet him in the castle gardens. Noctis asked, "Do you think I would ever hurt you?" 

When you didn't reply, he sighed and turned you to face him, "I am not the type of man who would hurt someone he cares about. I am a prince, my job is to protect everyone...not hurt them." 

He brushed his fingertips against your cheek and gave a small smile, "Leave your past in the past. I love you and would never hurt you. Please learn to trust me." 

Gladiolus

The first time he saw you flinch as a result of his anger, Gladio felt guilty. He assumed your reaction was due to his intimidating size and thought you were afraid of him. 

But as he pondered over your reaction, he realized that he might be missing something, so being the direct man he is, Gladiolus asked you what prompted you to be afraid of his anger. 

When you told him the truth about your previous relationship, he felt like a jerk for getting angry at you. 

It dawned on him that he was going to have a difficult time keeping his temper and movements in check, but he was willing to try for your sake. 

The second time when you flinched as a result of his quick movement, the shield sat your down and said, "You have to trust me not to hurt you. I have naturally quick reflexes since I have to protect the prince." 

He took your hands in his large ones and whispered, "I promise to never hurt you, nor will I let anyone hurt me. Trust me." 

A few days later, Gladiolus ended up finding your ex and taught them an unforgettable lesson for hurting you.

Ignis

Ignis was shocked when you recoiled as a result of his agile movement. His only intention was to catch the ceramic vase behind you from hitting the ground. 

Right then and there, he realized something was amiss and asked you, "Why did you flinch?"

 You chose to remain silent, so Ignis asked another question, " Has someone hurt you in the past?" 

Your shocked expression was enough to tell him he was correct. 

Ignis apologized and assured you that he would keep his movements in check and added, "My dear, I am a stable man and would never think to hurt you. My upbringing has taught him to respect others."

Ignis rested his hand on your shoulder and smiled, "If your ex attempts to approach you, do notify me immediately. I will be sure to teach them a lesson on your behalf."

Prompto

When he saw you flinch the first time around, Prompto didn't register it. But when he saw you recoil every time he made swift movements, the blond man picked up on it.

"Are you okay? Um...why did you flinch?" He asked, rubbing the back of his neck.

You hesitated by told him about your past relationship. After hearing everything, Prompto would not stop apologizing to you. He gently wraps his arms around you and whispered, "I would never think about hurting you. You...are the most precious person in my life."

Prompto slowly released you and said, "I don't want to lose the only person who has truly loved me, so please trust me...just like I trust you." 

As he spoke, you noticed tears filling his eyes. 

Cor

Cor, being the sharp man he was, realized much earlier on in the relationship that your previous partner may have had been abusive. 

He learned about your movement trigger the day he protected you from an attack. Cor picked up on the other trigger when he saw you backing away in fear after seeing two Kingsglaive members angrily shouting at each other.

He never confronted you regarding your past as he didn’t want the memories to resurface; instead, one day when the two of you were alone, he said in a gentle tone, “Sometimes it is difficult to get over the past, I would know, but you have to push through. I can assure you that I’m here for you, and my only intent is to love and protect you.”

Nyx

Nyx saw the fear in your eyes when he tried to surprise hug you. The glaive member apologized for startling you, and though, he wanted to confront you, he wasn’t sure how you would take it. 

Then came the day where you saw Nyx angry at someone for hurting one of his friends. Out of the corner of his eyes, he saw you backing away. After he calmed down, your lover found you and asked, "Are you scared of me?" 

He pushed you a little to tell him the truth, and when you did, Nyx was angry at your ex. He wants to leave right then and there to teach your ex a lesson but knew it was far more important to talk things out with you first. 

"My job is to protect others, and if I can protect strangers, then you can be sure I will protect the person I love with my life," he ruffled your hair and whispered, "I know it must've been hard for you, but know that I will never hurt you, especially not physically."

Nyx pressed his lips to the cheek and smiled, "You can relax around me. Also, if I make any quick movements, it’s either to surprise hug you or protect you. Please, trust me."
