when people refer to canon story-relevant kingdom hearts games as ‘spinoffs’ it makes me sad not only for the obvious reasons i always say but also bc like man i WISH this series had spinoffs. imagine what they could do if they had permission from nomura to truly go off the rails and ignore the greater canon for a second and just do some fun whimsical plotless thing in an alternate universe. imagine a fishing/boating game on destiny islands. kh fighting game. it is an injustice that we have been deprived of kingdom karts. can anyone hear me

We can all root for poly in Deep Night, which I'm definitely on board with (they're practically the only reason besides the neon lights and Freya and Meji that I'm still watching this).

But.

Bringing up poly in a conversation with your new boyfriend (if it's Pan), your boyfriend and childhood friend (if it's Seji), and your childhood friend (if it's Ken) requires a lot of courage and trust that the other party/parties won't take it the wrong way.

If the series wants to go for the throuple, rather than having it stay in Pan's daydream, I need a real conversation between all three. And I want it to be nerve-wracking at first (because that's how it would be unless you were really, really comfortable with the others) before they come to an agreement.

And I want them to come to an agreement. An agreement to be together. Because I. NEED. POLY.

Remember when Alicent slapped Aegon for not being around when Aemond lost his eye? Do you think she'll have the balls to slap Aemond now that Aegon got injured on his watch (assuming she doesn' tknow what he did)

by seeing the promo for next episode, she seems as cold and uncaring as she’s been this season. she’ll probably blame aegon for not following her wise council and sit pretty in the castle. anything else but indifference would mean that she’s in aegon’s side (the horror), and that she has actual human sensible reactions (unfathomable).

aemond will remain consequence free, because now he’s effectively made himself the most powerful person in the room. alicent will learn how good she had it when aegon was in charge because aegon would never leave king’s landing unprotected to go burn civilians in the riverlands.

I've been rewatching some of the episodes and im still wishy washy on whether or not I want to redesign all the characters but here's some recent and old character sketches!! I've been playing around with their designs but trying not to deviate too far so that the characters still look like who they're supposed to be

Idk if anyone would wanna see me redesign/rework every character but I'd post em if there were people who wanted to see that.

Here's the rundown for those who are interested:

My basic ideas for fairy tail are to make every character a fantasy trope/creature/class/myth. Some of the characters will change into a different thing over time as they gain experience. I feel like fairy tail has a lot of potential to write a more modern fairy tale type story because of the whole wizards and magic thing. With dragons and princesses n everything. This is obviously present in the story, but i really want to reinforce that idea. there are some characters who I think really fit this, like Erza (obvi main knight of the story but also has the title of titania queen of the fairies) and natsu (obviously dragon as an mc, sort of a role reversal of the evil dragon. and maybe a fun demonic plot twist haha). But with other characters i may need to make more changes. Lucy is a loose version of the princess (with a fun runaway backstory), but I want her to evolve into a priestess. Grey kinda has nothing going on for him imo, the ice wizard thing keeps throwing me off every time i try to project something onto him. I think i'll go with a hunter -> demon slayer thing. He just happens to use ice magic. i don't wanna go with regular wizard because thats a bit boring lmao. It would also make the elemental thing between natsu and grey funnier bcuz he's a spooky demon and that guys a hunter so you guys REALLY shouldnt get along. They do anyway because the power of friendship lol Anyways that's the basic plan? even if i dont post it on tumblr just know its cooking in the back of my head. thx for reading all this haha

I CAN'T be the only person whose noticed this but in the scene where Bison gets 'TRUST' tattooed on his chest, the Chinese character is back to front. It's reversed. I have no idea if this was intended or just an oopsie.

BUT. If this was intentional, this could be a sign that Bison is actually an almighty himbo, and it's giving:

dude if kh ends ill. probably cry lmaoo. but also. fandoms continue after their thing is finished dont they?? like. 10 years after its done ppl will still talk abt it?? i hope so at least

given that the kh fandom has survived several massive droughts over the years at this point i think it's unkillable. some of my mutuals on here are from like the ice age of kingdom hearts and still alive and blogging the exact way they always did. it won't be a huge fandom but even now with the series still being alive the fandom isn't as big as it once was in its heyday. but those of us here are incredibly loyal. and the nature of any long-running thing is that people carry it with them over the course of many years and it'll become impossible to drop it once it does end. but! it truthfully all depends on How it ends if you ask me. if it's a trainwreck a lot of people might abandon it out of resentment. if it's good or even mediocre as an ending it'll have its fans throughout eternity

canonically, esmé never killed (or lemony who never investigated enough to let it implied in the texts) anyone with her own hands in the same way as olaf who has his fingerprints all over wherever he touches. but lemony insists she is as dangerous and wicked as count olaf.

there’s the quagmire fire mystery (or coincidence), but I don’t think esmé killed them to get the sapphires because she was basically in the same position mr. poe was with the baudelaire fortune after their parents died. I like the thought and theory though

there’s olivia, who died primarily because of esmé’s disinterest to see olaf sharing attention with somebody else, but there’s nothing other than the word of the carnival freaks that (legally, I guess, I don’t know, that’s a shower thought) links esmé to olivia’s death because esmé didn’t actually push her into the pit with her own hands.

there’s the baudelaire fire, but again, I don’t think she set that fire, and I’ll write a fic about it later, and as far as I remember lemony never let it be understood that he suspected esmé’s involvement in this fire.

so… what exactly did esmé do or is capable of doing to be considered as cruel as olaf?

I like the thought of her with her own gloved hands killing jacques in the vile village, although the biggest rival and the one who took the blame to the grave was olaf.

if jerome survived the hotel fire along with esmé, did she kill him soon after just to burn files that could compromise her in the future? did she seduce, buy, and kill more inconvenient people in the past?

that’s something I’d like to know in a new lemony book. just a mention of the crimes of esmé ??? to give me an idea of how a threat she is without olaf and the orphans in the way

or perhaps I’ll have to keep working on my own headcanons

Luke trying to turn Percy to his side after the plot was revealed is literally The Fix of the series. We’ve been saying ‘Luke burned his bridges too soon, he tried to kill Percy instead of letting him become disillusioned’ for YEARS.

Instead of trying to kill Percy, Luke flips to ‘join me, if you’re scared of the gods, you don’t need to be.’ And when that doesn’t work, he runs. Percy is the one who initiates battle, Luke is just trying to leave with the least amount of damage, physically and socially. Unfortunately he didn’t account for Annabeth’s cap and burned more bridges than he’d liked or planned for…
