Colt Michaud
Hii this is my submission for @mdianasims for Globetrotter BC Challenge!
Young Adult
He/Him
Pansexual
Music Lover, Dog Lover and Self-assured
Colt was born in Henford-on-Bagley but he always dreamed of moving to the city. He loves the tall buildings and the neon lights, leaving the club at 3am and eating in a hole in the wall burger joint, give him all of it! So at age 18, he moved to San Myshuno, bleached his hair and started pursuing his other love: music. He plays guitar and piano and dabbles in a bit of DJing, he is on the music path of the Entertainment career, slowly but surely climbing up. He also plays in the pub in the Spice District two nights a week. He participated in two BCs already where he got to pretty much the middle of the race, he loved the experiences so he'd like to try again!

From Coffin Corners to Comedy
by Ethan Michaud
In a surprise announcement Wednesday night, Colts punter Pat McAffe announced that at age 29 he will be retiring from the game of football to pursue his passions in the entertainment industry. More specifically, McAfee will be joining forces with the cast of characters at Barstool sports to “do a little radio and a little TV and just create content in general and hopefully make the world a happier place,” as he put it in his announcement during The Barstool Rundown third straight live midnight episode on Comedy Central.
In his 8 year, 127 game regular season career, the 2 time Pro-Bowler averaged 46.4 yards per punt on 575 punts amassing 26,653 total yards off his foot, even making into the leagues top 5 in total yards in 2011 (4th) and 2015 (5th).
While still young, the three year All-Pro indicated that this was the right time to hang up the cleats in an interview with Dan Patrick on Thursday:
“The last half of the season I couldn’t really walk much on days that I kick. I’d just go home and lay in bed and ice my knees. I felt like a 90-year-old man,” McAfee said. “Just going into work every morning like, ‘There has to be something more to life than kicking balls.’ And then when Barstool Sports approached me about the potential of joining their family whenever I’m done with football. I told them I might be done sooner than most people think. Conversations kind of cooked up. I told them I wanted to stay in Indianapolis and they said, ‘Sounds good, we’ll give you headquarters out there.’ It was really the perfect fit at the perfect time.”

While 4th downs may have been McAffe’s specialty over the majority of the last decade, he is no stranger to the comedic arts. In 2015 he toured on the back of his stand-up comedy routine “Pat McAffe: Uncaged” which was even taped as a comedy special. He also has held a spot on IndyStar in Indianapolis as the host of his own comedic talk show “The Pat McAffe Show.”
Not unlike his character, he announced his retirement rather unconventionally, saving the news to break on Barstool’s Comedy Central special, and then publishing a long form piece to the state of Indiana on his twitter:
When asked about how he went about planning the whole affair, he admitted he didn't plan much, and did most of his research by Googling “how to retire from the NFL.”
Already changing his Twitter bio to “COO Barstool Indiana”, McAffe appears to be a good candidate for the job given his enthusiasm already and his resume of comedy experience. The test of time will be the true determinant of wether or not the move was the right one.
Nonetheless, Barstool got their first athlete, and I’d be willing to bet McAffe is far from the last to hop from a pro contract onto the Barstool bandwagon.
