Computer vision syndrome is a condition often temporary, is caused due to uninterrupted focusing of the eyes on computers, tablets, e-readers, smart phones and other electronic devices with visual displays for a long period of time. Symptoms of CVS include headaches, blurred vision, neck pain, redness in the eyes, fatigue, eye strain, dry eyes, irritated eyes, double vision, vertigo/dizziness, polyopia, and difficulty refocusing the eyes. These symptoms aggravate more with improper lighting conditions like bright overhead lighting or air moving past the eyes from overhead vents or direct air from a fan.
