How to Choose Which Refined Oil is Good for Health in India
When it comes to choosing the right refined oil for a healthy diet, there are a plethora of options available in the market. From sunflower oil to mustard oil to olive oil, each type of cooking oil comes with its own set of benefits and drawbacks. So, how do you decide which oil is good for heart in India?
The first thing to consider when choosing a refined oil is its smoke point. The smoke point of an oil is the temperature at which it starts to break down and form harmful compounds. Oils with higher smoke points are more stable at high temperatures, making them ideal for frying and cooking methods that require high heat. Sunflower oil, peanut oil, and rice bran oil are all good options due to their high smoke points.
In terms of heart health, it is important to choose oils that are high in monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, while low in saturated fats and trans fats. Olive oil, avocado oil, and canola oil are all excellent choices for heart health as they are rich in monounsaturated fats, which can help lower bad cholesterol levels and reduce the risk of heart disease.
Another factor to consider when selecting a refined oil is its omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acid content. Omega-3 fatty acids are known for their anti-inflammatory properties and are important for overall heart health. On the other hand, excessive consumption of omega-6 fatty acids can lead to inflammation and other health issues. Oils like flaxseed oil, walnut oil, and fish oil are good sources of omega-3 fatty acids, while oils like soybean oil and corn oil are high in omega-6 fatty acids.
It is also important to be aware of the processing methods used to refine the oil. Oils that are heavily processed and hydrogenated can have a negative impact on our health due to the formation of trans fats. Opt for oils that are unrefined or minimally processed to retain their natural nutrients and antioxidants.
Ultimately, the best refined oil for your health in India is one that meets your dietary needs and personal preferences. It is always a good idea to consult with a nutritionist or dietitian to determine which oil is most suitable for your specific health goals and requirements.
In conclusion, when it comes to choosing a which refined oil is good for health in India, prioritize oils with high smoke points, a good balance of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, and a healthy ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acids. Remember to consider the processing methods used and opt for oils that are minimally processed for maximum health benefits. With a little research and guidance, you can make informed decisions about which refined oil is best for your overall well-being.

TEEN IN A TIM BURTON MOVIE DIET 🦴🌫️
(inspired by @honeysugarfree)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
.˚⊹.🎃₊˚𖦹⋆
You wake up with one thing on your mind: going out for a walk in the woods. But you can’t. You’re a teenager who has school, and your parents would kill you if you skipped school.
It’s too early to eat anything. Pass the time playing with your cat or simply reading by the window as the sun rises.
Tumblr media
School is so boring when all you’re craving is a nice cup of warm soup or hot chocolate prepared by your mum. Whatever, you’ll suffer in silence and snack on whatever fruits you threw into your bag this morning.✧˖°.☾
For lunch, you’ll have leftovers from yesterday. roasted/baked/boiled veggies accompanied by rice or wheat. you don’t eat it all; it’s cold, and not that nice at all… Maybe your parents packed you a sandwich instead? make sure you don’t eat the crusts, though. they’re the worst part.
If you’re lucky, you might’ve even added one of your bakes as dessert (low cal pastry/cookie), or a small yoghurt. if you didn’t, don’t fret. your parent didn’t forget to include a fruit or veggie for health.
Tumblr media
(¬ ´ཀ` )¬
Back home at last — not before you went on a small walk, though. your parents were worried about where you’d gone off too again, and you’re greeted by a warm broth/soup, or some more baked veggies.
you don’t finish your plate unless your walk was very tiring. you’re too eager to finish that book you started!
Once in a while, you might be allowed a piece of cake or some hot chocolate. not everyday, though. that would be bad for your teeth!
End the day with a cup of tea, reading under a warm blanket with a piece of your favourite chocolate or sweet. 🍂☕️🐈‍⬛
Tumblr media
MEAL IDEAS I LOVE:
Chickpeas in tomato sauce with rice
Whole bread sandwich without the crust: tomato, cheese and cucumber (ham if you want, i’m vegetarian c:)
Ratatouille or Shakshuka with wheat/bulgur
Apple sauce cookies (i can share a good recipe if you want)
Pasta/zucchini gratin
Lasagna (spinach or veggies with tomato sauce - or mince, once again, i’m vegetarian)
potatoes (sweet is even better) with broccoli
Mushrooms with bread
Tomato salad (vinegar, herbs, olive oil)
Lentil/corn cakes with cream cheese
Pumpkin pie
Vegetable broth (or chicken) with vegetable dices
Potato soup
Tomato orzo soup
Mashed potatoes with lentils
Lentil soup
Beetroot (it’s so good even on it own)
REMEMBER!
You always prefer ‘halloween’ themed pastries — involving apples, pumpkin, carrots…
Eating isn’t a bother, you’re just a slow eater. don’t hesitate to share your love for sweets, while keeping consummation low.
You get tired of veggies so much! never finish a meal you don’t like.
Your favourite candy is liquorice, and most halloween themed ones like acorn or hard candy
Keep the chocolate low. it’s too heavy and nauseating!
If you must, have a piece of nutella/peanut butter and jelly toast, oats, or milk with fruits in the morning. i promise it’s much better than those ‘healthy’ alternatives (makes you satisfies and low calorie if you only have one)
No crisps — they’re too oily and dirty your books. Pop corn is so much better (and lower in cols) — caramel or pumpkin spice is a staple!
Cinnamon on apples… the best treat!
If you ever eat out with family, eat only a third of the meal and get the rest to pack. it’s so good you want to make it last!!
Bake and cook as much as you can! This will make your parents understand what you like, and not push to make you eat those gross overly fat foods.
Try to stay under 1,000 kcals, but don’t count calories obsessively. keep portions small and always leave a third of your plate.
Have fun!
(i’ll make a moodboard with meals etc, i hope you enjoy!)

Your Efforts May Go Wasted If You Didn’t Focused on Oils You Eat
Home cooks have many choices when it comes to choosing the type of oil for frying, grilling, and drizzling. Some are well known like olive oil and some are lesser known like avocado and coconut oil. It depends a lot on the type of dish. The point at which the oil starts to burn and smoke is one of the most important things to consider. Heating an oil above its smoke point not only spoils the taste, but also breaks down many of the nutrients in the oil, causing the oil to release harmful compounds called free radicals. If you want to know which oils are and which are not, there is disagreement.
1. Olive Oil
Tumblr media
The nutrition and culinary expert agrees that olive oil is one of the most versatile and healthy oils for cooking and eating, as long as it is virgin. The "extra virgin" label means that the olive oil is unrefined and therefore of high quality. Extra virgin olive oil contains large amounts of monounsaturated fats and some polyunsaturated fats. Many studies show that it leads to better heart health.Olive oil has a relatively low smoke point compared to other oils, making it ideal for low to medium heat cooking.
2. Coconut Oil
Tumblr media
Depending on what you ask, coconut oil should be avoided or consumed in moderation. The main point of controversy is its high saturated fat content. Unlike other vegetable oils, coconut oil is primarily saturated fat. While not everyone agrees that such concentrated sources of saturated fat are bad for your health, some experts, including the American Heart Association, recommend replacing foods high in saturated fat with healthier options. It claims that it can lower cholesterol levels and improve blood lipid levels. Still, science is beginning to suggest that not all saturated fats are bad for you. Not to make you sick, but don't overdo it.
But that doesn't mean it should be banned from the pantry. Saturated fats are healthier oils to use when cooking or frying at very high temperatures because they are more stable at high temperatures (which should be done absolutely in moderation). This means they are less likely to collapse and smoke.
3. Vegetable Oil
Tumblr media
The term "vegetable oil" refers to an oil derived from a vegetable source, the health of which depends on its source and intended use. Most vegetable oils on the market are blends of canola, corn, soybean, safflower, palm and sunflower oils. In general, we should use olive oil whenever possible instead of corn or soybean oil.
Still, because vegetable oils are refined and processed, they lack nutrients as well as taste. "Vegetable oil is guaranteed to be highly processed. Because it's called a 'vegetable,' manufacturers can use any commodity, including soybeans, corn, cottonseed, and canola, without having to print a new label."
4. Canola Oil
Tumblr media
Canola oil, derived from the flowering plant canola, contains high amounts of monounsaturated fat and a moderate amount of fat. Contains polyunsaturated fat. Of all the vegetable oils, canola oil tends to have the lowest amount of saturated fat.
5. Avocado Oil
Tumblr media
Avocado Oil is a good choice. Although it is not refined like extra virgin olive oil, it has a high smoke point, so it can be used for cooking at high temperatures and is ideal for stir-frying. It has almost no odor, so it is suitable for cooking. "It's creamy like an avocado," says Howard. Avocado oil contains both monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats (it has one of the highest levels of monounsaturated fat of any edible oil) and also contains vitamin E.
6. Sunflower Oil
Tumblr media
This oil is rich in vitamin E. One tablespoon contains 28% of the Recommended Daily Allowance of nutrients. It has a high smoke point and is less addictive, so it does not interfere with cooking. However, sunflower oil contains many omega-6 fatty acids. The body needs them, but omega-6 fatty acids are thought to be pro-inflammatory, whereas omega-3 fatty acids are anti-inflammatory. It is important to consume in moderation as it can cause excessive inflammation in the body.
7. Peanut Oil
Tumblr media
Peanut oil can be fun to experiment with in the kitchen, especially since there are so many different types. Peanut oil contains the highest levels of monounsaturated fatty acids of any edible oil. It is usually savory with a nutty taste and aroma and is well cooked over high heat.
8. Walnut Oil
Tumblr media
This oil has a low smoke point, making it unsuitable for cooking, but it can be used in many other ways. Howard drizzles pancakes, freshly cut fruit, and ice cream with oil. She also adds it to frothed milk to drink her coffee.Walnut oil has a high ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acids, which helps reduce inflammation. Images Flaxseed oil is high in omega-3 fatty acids and has a very low smoke point, so don't even use it in cooking.
9. Sesame Oil
Tumblr media
This oil is often used because of its strong flavor. Small things make a big impact. It contains both monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, but is not particularly rich in other nutrients. It has a high smoke point and can be used in high heat recipes.

hi moot! pls hydrate while toasted <3 LMAOAOO i would like to kindly request a blurb from you about sylus or zayne dealing with their s/o after they’ve had a mental crashout … <333 ((i am so mentally emotionally physically drained right now i’m losing my mind (╥﹏╥))
luna my love hiii !!! you ask and you shall receive. in a very good mood rn so you get both hehe :3 i rlly hope this makes you feel better and pls get some rest n give yourself a break darling <3
Tumblr media
ZAYNE is quick to notice when you're about to crash. you become irritable, a lot more emotional, yet at the same time you become meek and quiet. he's aware of that voice that lingers in the back of your mind telling you that you have to do all of your work or tasks right now or else you'll disappoint everyone, but your body just can't take it. and that's okay, zayne will swoop in and save you. whether it's cooking you balanced meals to make you feel better, sitting down on the couch as you cuddle into his larger frame while your favorite sitcom's laugh track plays in the background, or it's simply doing your tasks for you-- zayne is on it. he'll even start a warm bath for you if you haven't been able to shower due to exhaustion (he doesn't judge. he knows better than anyone how low and destructive mental crashouts can be.) even if you don't have the energy to wash yourself, he'll take a rag and scrub you clean and adore you with rich oils and lotions. in all, zayne's a very good caretaker. he will catch you when you fall and nurture you back to health. whether that is physically supporting you by doing things for you, or it's a simple twenty-minute cuddle session as he gives you a pep talk-- zayne is there for all of that. "be a good girl and let me do this for you."
SYLUS is also a very attentive lover. he notices your lethargic behavior and how your rebuttals seem more annoyed rather than playful. his first instinct is to leave you alone, allow you to simmer down. however, when he notices you aren't calming down, in fact your behavior has become even worse, he's quick to help you out in any way he can. he'll cook all three meals for you, even spoon-feeding them to you while cooing at how obedient and cute you are chewing on the eggs he made this morning. when you come home from a mission and throw yourself into his arms sobbing, sylus is immediately on the defense. he wraps his arms around your form, pulling you into his lap. he wraps your favorite blanket around you while kissing your cheeks with an occasional peck on your lips. he's the type to mutter sweet words and allow you to sob into his chest. even if the words you're rambling make no sense, sylus will sit there and quietly listen. he supports you in anyway he can. whether that means taking more time in the morning to kiss and reenergize you, or sit down and help you organize your tasks, and even sit beside you on the balcony and listen to your troubles. sylus will go above and beyond to see you back on your feet, healthy and happy. "it's alright, sweetie. let it out, im here."

OK WAIT I COOKED combine doctor rem and whimsical reader where the reader is telling rem about all of these mystical beliefs about health and sickness and he’s just humoring her
You cooked babe !
doctor!Remus x whimsical!reader ♡ 476 words
Remus startles a bit when you wrap your arms around his midsection, your footsteps were so noiseless on the kitchen floor. He chuckles quietly as his heart calms, rubbing your wrist where it rests over his belly button. You lay your cheek against his back.
“Hello,” he says warmly, picking up another dish from the dirty pile and dunking it in the soapy water.
“Would you ever want to take my diffuser to work with you?” you ask.
Remus hums, more than used to your seemingly spontaneous questions. “You really like it,” he says, “so I wouldn’t want to take it from you. Why?”
“I could use another one,” you reply airily. “I thought it might be nice for the people who come to see you. I could give you some peppermint oil to help heal them.”
“To heal them?”
“Mhm. It’s good for nausea and respiratory issues, plus it’d be nice for if they’re nervous, too.”
“I don’t know, sweetheart.” He sets the bowl he was washing in the drying rack. “That’s very considerate of you, but I don’t know if my patients would appreciate it as much as you do. And, ideally, they’re getting all the medical help they need from me.”
You melt deeper into his backside. Remus chuckles, wiping his hands and turning in your arms. You make a happy sound as he grasps the back of your neck in one hand, fingers still damp, and settles the other on the small of your back.
“It never hurts to have extra help,” you say, turning your face up to his. He tunnels his fingers into the hair at the base of your scalp. “Remember last week, when I had that awful headache but it was really just because my energy was out of balance?”
With great effort does Remus repress his sigh. You’d laid on the couch with a rock on your forehead after saying something about energy fields, and the only reason the pain had eased was because he’d decided he wasn’t above crushing up a pain reliever and stirring it into your tea. You’d been quietly pleased with having realigned your magnetic fields or whatever for the rest of the afternoon, and your boyfriend hadn’t had the heart to clue you in.
“You never know what could be the real root of the problem,” you hum.
He drops his lips to your forehead. “I suppose you’re right.”
You give him a smile that feels like the breeze coming off the sea. Remus’ own lips turn up in response.
“I’ll get you a new diffuser to replace yours,” he says. “Thanks, dove.”
“Don’t worry about it, I have a spare.” You let go of his waist to twine your arms around Remus’ neck, kissing him sweetly. “It’s cute that you thought I’d only have one, though.”
Yeah, he’s the cute one.

"Despite a huge amount of political opposition from the chemical industry, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced its first regulations aimed at limiting quantities of PFAs, or ‘forever chemicals,’ in American drinking water.
For decades, Polyfluoroalkyl substances or PFAs have been used for coatings that resist fire, oil, stains, and water and are now found in a wide variety of products like waterproof clothing, stain-resistant furniture, food packaging, adhesives, firefighting spray foams, and non-stick cooking surfaces.
There are thousands of PFAS compounds with varying effects and toxicity levels, and the new EPA regulations will require water utilities to test for 6 different classes of them.
The new standards will reduce PFAS exposure—and thereby decrease the health risk—for 100 million people in the U.S.
A fund worth $1 billion for treatment and testing will be made available to water utilities nationwide—part of a $9 billion investment made possible by the 2021 Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to assist communities impacted by PFAS contamination.
“Drinking water contaminated with PFAS has plagued communities across this country for too long,” said EPA Administrator Michael S. Regan in a statement Wednesday.
Under Regan’s leadership, the EPA began in 2021 to establish a roadmap for dealing with widespread PFAS contamination, and so far they’ve gathered much data, including monitoring drinking water, and begun requiring more reports from businesses about use of the unregulated substances.
The agency reported that current peer-reviewed scientific studies have shown that exposure to certain levels of PFAS may lead to a myriad of health issues that are difficult to specify because of the variety of compounds coming from different places.
Regardless, the 66,000 water utility operators will have five years to test for the PFAS pollution and install necessary technology to treat the contamination, which the EPA estimates that 6%–10% of facilities will need. [Note: Deeply curious where they got a number that low, but anyway.]
Records show that some of the manufacturers knew these chemicals posed health hazards. A few major lawsuits in recent years have been settled that sought to hold chemical companies, like 3M, accountable for the environment damage.""

Guide to Selecting Cooking Oil for Good Health in India
Choosing the right cooking oil is crucial for maintaining good health, especially in a diverse culinary landscape like India. With a variety of options available, finding the best cooking oil for good health can be overwhelming. This guide aims to simplify the selection process and help you identify the best cooking oil in India for your dietary needs.
Understanding Cooking Oils
Cooking oils play a vital role in our daily diets. They provide essential fatty acids and help in the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins. However, not all oils are created equal. The best Indian cooking oil varies based on its nutritional profile, smoke point, and overall health benefits.
Key Factors to Consider
Nutritional Content: When selecting cooking oil for good health, it's important to consider its fatty acid composition. Oils high in monounsaturated fats and omega-3 fatty acids are generally better for heart health. For example, olive oil and canola oil are known for their heart-healthy fats.
Smoke Point: The smoke point of an oil is the temperature at which it starts to smoke and degrade. Using oils with a high smoke point for frying and cooking at high temperatures can prevent the release of harmful compounds. Oils like sunflower and safflower oil are great choices for high-heat cooking.
Flavor Profile: The flavor of the oil can impact the taste of your dishes. For instance, coconut oil imparts a distinct flavor, making it suitable for specific recipes, while neutral oils like canola or vegetable oil are versatile for various cuisines.
Types of Cooking Oils
Olive Oil: Often hailed as one of the best cooking oils for good health, olive oil is rich in monounsaturated fats and antioxidants. It has a moderate smoke point, making it ideal for sautéing and salad dressings. Extra virgin olive oil is considered the best Indian cooking oil for its unprocessed nature and superior health benefits.
Mustard Oil: Popular in Indian cuisine, mustard oil is known for its pungent flavor and high smoke point. It is rich in monounsaturated fats and has anti-inflammatory properties. Mustard oil is a good option for cooking and frying, particularly in Indian recipes.
Coconut Oil: With its high saturated fat content, coconut oil is often debated in terms of health benefits. While it's a good source of medium-chain triglycerides, its use should be moderate. It is particularly useful in Indian sweets and certain regional dishes.
Sunflower Oil: Known for its high smoke point and light flavor, sunflower oil is a versatile choice for various cooking methods. It contains a good balance of polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats, making it one of the best cooking oils for good health.
Canola Oil: Canola oil is a heart-healthy option with a high smoke point, suitable for frying and baking. It has a neutral flavor and is rich in omega-3 fatty acids. For many, it is considered the best cooking oil in India due to its health benefits and versatility.
Choosing the Best Cooking Oil in India
When selecting the best cooking oil for good health, it's essential to consider both your dietary needs and cooking methods. Each oil has its unique benefits and ideal uses. For a balanced diet, incorporating a variety of oils can provide a range of nutrients and flavors.
Read Labels: Look for oils that are minimally processed and free from trans fats. Cold-pressed or extra virgin oils are generally better choices for their higher nutritional value.
Consider Health Goals: If you are focused on heart health, oils high in monounsaturated fats and omega-3s, such as olive and canola oil, should be prioritized. For traditional Indian cooking, oils like mustard and coconut oil may be preferred.
Storage and Freshness: Ensure that the oil is stored in a cool, dark place to maintain its freshness and prevent oxidation. Always check the expiration date to ensure you are using a fresh product.
Conclusion
Selecting the best Indian cooking oil involves understanding the nutritional benefits and cooking characteristics of different oils. By focusing on the best cooking oil in India for your health needs and culinary preferences, you can enhance your meals and support your overall well-being. Whether you opt for olive oil, mustard oil, or canola oil, choosing the right cooking oil for good health will contribute to a healthier diet and lifestyle.

how to wake up earlier
sleep is a challenge for many people. after vacations or intensive projects or even a couple rounds of staying up late playing video games, we've all messed up our sleep schedules before. this is a guide on how to wake up earlier and get healthier sleep. please let me know if you'd like more posts like this. wishing love and prosperity to all <3
the night/day before:
choose a bedtime that's 9-10 hours before your wake up time. make sure you're in bed at this time. if you don't fall asleep immediately (which you won't, the first couple of times) read or journal until you feel sleepy.
turn your devices off or put them away at least 30 minutes (ideally 2 hours) before your bedtime. if you have any devices that stay on overnight, make sure they aren't within arms reach and notifications are turned off. if you're using your phone as an alarm make sure it's on the other side of your room, so that you have to walk to turn your alarm off in the morning.
make sure dinner is a light, satisfying meal. don't eat after dinner, as this can lead to acid reflux and interrupted sleep.
avoid caffeine and sugary drinks in the afternoon and evening. keep your caffeine intake under 400mg per day.
sleep with your curtains or blinds open. this will help adjust your circadian rhythm to the day/night cycle.
find a relaxing hobby you can do before bed. some ideas include crochet, knitting, reading, journaling or building puzzles. these are well known in helping with stress management and can help you unwind before you go to sleep.
create a relaxing night routine. make sure you feel clean and comfortable by the time you go to sleep.
make use of a lavender scent before you go to bed. whether it's a linen spray, incense, a candle or an oil diffuser. lavender is calming and can help you feel sleepy, especially if you learn to associate it with sleep.
in the morning:
get out of bed the second you wake up. you need to get up, turn off your alarm and stay out of bed.
make your first activity of the day one you enjoy. your skincare routine, cooking a nice breakfast, a warm shower or even sitting on the couch watching netflix is an option. there's no shame in what you choose to do first thing in the morning, even if it's not productive. if it gets you out of bed, it's the right choice.
expose yourself to sunlight as soon as possible in the morning. just 10 minutes could help your circadian rhythm adjust. if it's dark in the mornings because of the weather or the different seasons, turn your lights on.
other tips:
avoid pulling all-nighters or taking naps. staying up all night is bad for your health, full stop. lack of sleep weakens your immune system and ruins your focus during the day. taking naps regularly can impair the sleep schedule you've been working so hard to build. however, if you're really tired, a 20 minute nap is better than a cup of coffee.
make your mental health and stress management a priority. depression, anxiety and stress result in poor sleep. they can be managed with a well balanced lifestyle and professional intervention.
having a well balanced diet can improve your general health as well as your sleep. make sure you aren't skipping meals. have of each meal should be fruits and vegetables, a quarter grains (preferably wholegrain) and a quarter protein. eat as much variety as possible.
stay well hydrated. the common recommendation of 8 glasses a day is a good goal. staying hydrated can help you stay more alert during the day.
regular exercise can improve quality of sleep. exercise during the day if possible, but definitely not within 2 hours of your bedtime.
make a list of reasons why you want to wake up early. read this every night before you go to bed and first thing in the morning. make sure your reasons are important enough to motivate you.
if you're struggling to adjust to a new sleep schedule because your current sleep schedule is so far off, adjust your bed/wake times in 30 minute increments. this can make the adjustment more comfortable.
stay as consistent as possible. try to keep the habits you've built, even over vacations or exam seasons. discipline will eventually become a habit.
only drink in moderation, alcohol can do serious damage to your circadian rhythm. alcohol generally is bad for you and should not be overconsumed.
if you're having persistent issues with sleep, reach out to a doctor or a sleep specialist who can help you.
finally, be kind to yourself. you can't force yourself to sleep, and stressing about it will only make sleeping properly more difficult. change comes gradually, and you can achieve anything you set your mind to as long as you're consistent.
~*
i hope you're having a lovely day. if you have anymore tips for achieving a healthy sleep schedule, please let me know. i would love to hear it.

This Week in BL - Screw everything else inject On1y into my damn veins
Organized, in each category, with ones I'm enjoying most at the top.
Aug 2024 Week 4
Ongoing Series - Thai
Tumblr media
Monster Next Door (Thai Thurs Gaga ) eps 5-6 of 12 - Extreme introvert dealing with a very hot, very drunk, very affectionate extrovert was an excellent experience all around. “I was drunk and talking out of my ass, but I wasn’t lying” maybe one of the world’s greatest confessions. How meta that he’s checking out the book of the story that he’s in. Carry on boys, very enjoyable, very Thai BL.
Tumblr media
My Love Mix-Up Th (Fri YT) ep 12 fin - It’s cute. They are all very cute. I do like it when high school BL gives us a coming out sequence. I know it’s old-fashioned, but it’s a trope that goes with this particular setting really well, and I just like it when it’s done nicely. I’m not sure I needed it to totally dominate the final episode of the series. But it was fine.
I gotta say, Fourth is an absolutely outstanding actor. He really did knocked it out of the park in this last episode especially.
In conclusion:
It was fine and it was charming, but it was also a little lackluster. Thailand managed to take one of Japan's softest cutest most bonkers BLs in recent memory and make it softer and cuter and... dull. They did this by watering it down. JBLs almost always have an edge to them, even the rom-coms, by dulling the edge, MLMU lost a great deal of the sparkle and tension as well. What an office setting managed to mostly maintain in the consummate hands of TayNew felt somewhat lackluster when handed off to the next generation and a high school setting. Cherry Magic was a lovely reinterpretation, Mix Up was an amateur's watercolor rendition of a colorful oil painting. Am I being harsh? G4 tried their best, and Fourth turned in some outrageously good acting in the latter half. But the show? It was fine. If you like water colors and you haven't seen (and loved) Kieta Hatsukoi. 8/10
Tumblr media
This Love Doesn't Have Long Beans (Fri iQIYI) ep 8 fin - This was the first hint we got that the lead's relationship was anything more than sexual. And it was utilized for a breakup?! JJ and Wan's friendship is the best thing about this show. PWan selling JJ out to Methas was great. I was modestly delighted by the big fuck off ownership engagement ring. I admire a boy who likes to mark his territory with bling. I actually thought this was a decent final episode. If very rushed. I know, in general this ending was objectively weak, but I grinned the entire time, so I can’t really complain that much.
Tumblr media
Final thoughts?
A story about a kid who infiltrates a cooking competition under false pretenses and then has to deal with the consequences when he falls in love with the head chef. The side couple is a poor little rich boy meets physical therapist (morality chain). The core friendships are excellent and the chemistry cannot be faulted across the (charcuterie) board. What this show lacks in substance it makes up for in health code violations. It was all chili all the time. Considering that the plot centered on betrayal but the romantic relationship never sweetened enough to balance that bitterness; one could be forgiven for throwing this one in the compost. But I got over all its weaknesses in flavor balancing for an ultimately satisfying meal, with a great dessert course. I've always loved spicy food. Plus the blooper reels were fantastic. 8/10
Addicted Heroin (Thai Tues WeTV) ep 2 of 10 - I like the side couple a lot. It’s nice to see that dynamic developed (as it wasn't in the CBL version). Of course, Thailand leans into a secondary couple, but I also like the super popular jock + geeky boy who couldn’t care less. You know what? I’m actually really enjoying this. And yes, I AM biased because it's August. (Wait, that could be taken several different ways this month. But you know what I mean.) Anygay, this is a lot softer than the original, and so Hero is much more of a pining character and less harsh. But I'm still enjoying it. I like the stepbrothers trope (we don’t get it very much from Thailand), and I enjoy the beats and pulses of this particular story. We will see if it derails into inconsequence and lack of conflict the way My Love Mixup did.
Tumblr media
Sunset X Vibes (Sat iQIYI) ep 11 of 12 - I’m enjoying this show but it should’ve been just 10 eps. It’s feeling bloated at this juncture. That said, I loved our little GL kiss. Very pretty. I also really like the bit with Sam and Yo flirting with each other. Sam trying to get Yo to call him P'Sam was fucking brilliant. And then slipping in all of those nongs. Delightful. Linguistic negotiation, it's what's for dinner... along with Sam's d**k apparently. I frankly did not think they would take this couple that far. So, thank you very much everybody involved.
Tumblr media
Battle of the Writers (Sun YT) ep 4 of 12 - I do enjoy watching Yim freak out and fall in love all over again. The reality is still better for me than the fantasy parts, but it’s all fun enough. The magic mushrooms bit was odd. In fact, there is definitely a core tenor of ODD going on with the show. Which I’m accustomed to from Japan but I’m not really sure about from Thailand. Thus I remain engaged but suspicious of this BL.
I Saw You in My Dream (Weds Gaga) ep 6 of 12 - Yu wants to take his baby on a trip, gets thwarted by his younger brother. Ouch. I really do think it’s time for Ai to tell Yu what’s going on with his dreams! Drunken boyfriend bolster pillow is a fav trope of mine. As usual, I’m catching second lead syndrome. What? I liked the rich boy badminton player. And then he picked up a guitar. Oh well.
The Trainee (Sun YouTube) ep 8 of 12 - No one cares about the hets. He was jelly? Cute. Also kinda an arse, by hey this is BL.
Tumblr media
Ongoing Series - Not Thai
The On1y One (Taiwan Thurs Gaga) eps 1-2 of 12 - announced in 2023, high school, stepbrothers, and is reputed to be high heat. Based on a novel Mou Mou + the Your Name Engraved Herein team.
ARE YOU READY? I'M GOING TO NOT SO QUIETLY LOSE MY DAMN MIND
This is old-school BL and it’s bloody fantastic. Tsundere seme to beat all tsundere (smartest + tallest + bestest at everything but people) meets socially-ept cutie smart-ass protag.
Tumblr media
They living together by end of ep 1 and start kissing by end of ep 2.
Tumblr media
There is an Unknown quality to this, and that I love. Also, and ironic to say this while Addicted Heroin Th is airing, but this REALLY reminds me of Addicted. It’s so fucking good. I am all in on this show. Shut up while this eats my life.
Cosmetic Playlover (Japan Tues Gaga) eps 5-6 of 8 - Of course! The POV shift to the seme character at ep 5! How could I forget? Japan loves this beat! AND.... The running of the gays. And a use of a first name! So darling. Also some crazy great communication and conversation that is NOT a hallmark of Japan. Sahashi is so very possessive. I loved the switch that went on in his brain and the mania in his eyes when he thought someone else was interested in Natsume. I continue to love this.
I Hear the Sunspot AKA Hidamari ga Kikoeru (Japan Weds Gaga) ep 10 of 12 - I’m never going to like Maya. Sorry. And the leads were separated for most of this episodes so it was largely disappointing. I did like the insight into the way T sees the world, and sees the alienation of a disability and what it's dong to his friend. It’s very empathic. He’s such an appealing character in his obtuse bull-headed way.
Seoul Blues (Korea Fri? YouTube) ep 2 of 8 - It’s intriguing, and I'm happy to have anything from Korea on my dash. But, like Blue Boys, I’m not entirely sure if I like it or not.
First Note Of Love (Taiwan Mon Gaga) eps 3-4 of 12 - This may be Taiwan but I’m still in the "no singing" camp. I’m getting a slightly better chemistry feel off the leads in this episode. I’m not sure if they’re keeping it stiff because the younger character is under age or if it’s just that the actors aren’t there yet? (In other words is this a directing choice or a performance issue?)
Takara's Treasure AKA Takara No Vidro (Japan Mon Gaga) ep 8 of 10 - I've finally come down firmly on the fact that it’s the uneven power distribution (in terms of interest and enthusiasm for the relationship) that I dislike about this show. Generally, I like a power dynamic differential, kinky and all that. But this particular dynamic, when it’s the weaker personality that’s so much more into the stronger one? I never like it, unless it engages a serious pivot at some point. (See My Personal Weatherman or Takara & Amagi.)
Tumblr media
It's airing but...
Sugar Dog Life (Japan Sun grey) ep 3 of 10 - I was really loving this one but I can't find ep 3 anywhere so I guess I gotta wait it out. I hope I get to see it eventually.
4 Minutes (Sat Gaga) eps 1-6 of 8 - Gaga picked this one up so we can watch it there. If I have time, I'll get caught up and put it into rotation.
Tumblr media
In case you missed it
Meet You at the Blossom (China) - I'm eating crow, binging the fucker, and live blogging.
The Time of Fever AKA Unintentional Love Story 2 (Korea movie) trailer IS COMING IN SEPTEMBER!!!! (Yeah this is gonna sit here until then).
Next Week Looks Like This:
Tumblr media
Upcoming BLs for 2024 are listed here. This list is not kept updated, so please leave a comment if you know something new or RP with additions.

THIS WEEK’S BEST MOMENTS
Tumblr media
It was pretty. I am very shallow.
Tumblr media
Even more pretty. Petition to have Tenon with his shirt off and hair back in every subsequent Thai BL? Just because.
(SunsetXVibes)
(Last week)
Streaming services are listed by how I (usually) watch, which is with a USA based IP, and often offset by a day because time zones are a pain.
The tag BLigade: @doorajar @solitaryandwandering @my-rose-tinted-glasses @babymbbatinygirl @babymbbatinygirl @isisanna-blog @mmastertheone @pickletrip @aliceisathome @urikawa-miyuki @tokillamonger @sunflower-positiiivity @rocketturtle4 @blglplus @anythinggoesintheshire @everlightly @renafire @mestizashinrin @bl-bam-beyond @small-dark-and-delicious @saezurumurmurs
Sigh, Tumblr in its infinite wisdom doesn't like too many tags.

sarso oil for hair cooking oil for lowering cholesterol
Tumblr media
Saloni Soybean oil is a commonly used cooking oil that is extracted from soybeans. It is a popular choice for Indian dishes as it has a mild flavor and high smoke point, which means it can be used for frying and sautéing without smoking or burning easily.
Refined soybean oil, like Best Choice Refined Soybean Oil, is processed to remove impurities and improve its quality. This refining process involves several steps such as degumming, neutralization, bleaching, and deodorization, which help to remove any unwanted flavors, colors, and odors from the oil.
Soybean oil is considered a healthy oil as it is low in saturated fat and high in unsaturated fats, particularly linoleic acid, which is an essential fatty acid that the body cannot produce on its own. It also contains vitamin E, which is an antioxidant that helps protect cells from damage.
However, like all oils, soybean oil is high in calories and should be consumed in moderation as part of a balanced diet. It is also important to note that while refined soybean oil is generally safe for consumption, individuals with soybean allergies should avoid it.
In conclusion, Best Choice Refined Soybean Oil can be a healthy and flavorful choice for cooking Indian dishes, but as with any food, it should be consumed in moderation as part of a balanced diet.
is mustard oil good for health, best choice refined oil, best cooking oil for heart, sarso oil for hair, cooking oil for lowering cholesterol.https://salonioil.com/allied-product/
