Made a different colored version of Curiosity from @analog-cottage-gore’s Curiosity AU.

1/3 is the one I made (traced the base because it was too thin)

2/3 is where I got the colors from

first batch of portal refs done!! the second will come soon (i hope) it will include spin off and mod characters as well :D

android AU: everything stays the same but the robots are more humanoid. thats it really xD

human AU: set in 2010. quite a few things change (i oc-ify the characters pretty much). the main things to note is that it’s a lot of what if scenarios. what if the resonance cascade in black mesa never happened, what if caroline had a daughter (gladys, so glados and caroline aren’t the same person in the AU. i wanted to explore the possibility of them being two separate people haha), what if the disk operating system project was put into halt and AI never took over. in the AU black mesa and aperture are still rivals in the development of teleportation technology, portals are still being experimented on, human test subjects are paid to test, they don’t go through cryo sleep stasis but live their life at aperture in dormitories (let me slice of life portal okay im self indulgent). Aperture still has questionable work ethics and morals but things work slightly more differently. Gladys is the CEO of aperture and she pushes for a lot of work to be done so they can surpass black mesa. Also important to note, Chell registers as a test subject for the cash deal but she also aims to investigate what really happened to her adoptive father who died at Aperture.

that’s the main essence of the au, still working on it and some plots here and there but, like most of my fandom aus, it’s really self indulgent slice of life crap LOL

curious minnie's rick is pretty squirrely and breaks up with and gets back together with her multiple times b4 their relationship is settled. Lucky for him she's got a lot of patience.

Usually its because hes terrified of emotional intimacy in some way. Wont let his walls down, realizes he loves her, someone accidentally calls her grandma, things of that nature. It happens abt 3/4 times

Curiosity was wandering the halls, having nothing to do.

He had already helped out Lolli and Pop with setting up the maze, Glory with retrieving beach balls from the beams in the ceiling (no one knows how they got there), Cheer with teaching kids how to roller skate... you name a animatronic, he'd helped them. But now of course, he was bored.

He was considering sitting in on one of Star's shows, when he heard footsteps. Turning around, he saw a little girl running up to him. He was surprised, seeing as kids didn't often seem so excited to see him. He was fairly new after all, and didn't have any cool attractions. Still, he smiled and greeted her.

"Hey there, how can I help you?" He asked, crouching down to be eye level with the girl.

"Mr. Curiosity, I have a question." The girl told him, bouncing on the balls of her feet.

"Sure what is it? Oh, and don't call me mister, makes me feel old."

"You said you were looking for your friend, right? Who are they? Did you find them?" She asked him, tilting her head.

"Oh! I-" Curiosity started before stopping.

...who was his friend?

Where had they gone?

"Uh, I haven't found them yet... but I will soon!" He covered, trying to hide his panic.

"Oh, okay. I hope you find them soon Curiosity!" The girl said before running off.

Curiosity didn't even wave after her, he headed straight to his room.

He got there quickly, shutting himself inside. He rummaged through his piles of stuff for... anything, really. He found a Starlight plush, and decided it would be good enough. He sat it down on the floor in front of him and started talking.

"Who... why can't I remember my friend?" He asked, curling up slightly.

The plush didn't respond.

"Okay, what do I remember?"

Running, in the woods, something chasing him, feral and foaming and it was on him and-

Curiosity stopped thinking about them. He stared at the plush, lifeless and honestly really well made-

"I wish I could talk to the real Star... but, he's probably busy, I don't wanna bug him." Curiosity sighed.

"But..."
