Connor 3D model by DazCover on RenderHub
Connor needed a moment alone after Markus had called for revolution.
The impact of becoming a deviant hit him and he was overcome with emotion.
Markus had forgiven him for what he had done, but did he deserve it? So many androids had died because of him. CyberLife had used him, he should have known that. If not him, as the most advanced android, then who?
But right now, even the most advanced android was too focused on his overwhelming emotions and didn't pay attention to his surroundings.
A very big thank you to @yvy-900 and @zeppersart for sharing and porting the outfit 💙 !

I love the unstoppable force vs. immovable object thing so much when people associate it with characters like
Love it to death. For me, (unsurprisingly) it’s just so hankcon.
Hank’s entire life came to a skidding halt like breaks desperately trying to gain traction. He knows what it feels like to not have control of the force and more importantly what it cost him. Why would he risk that again?
Connor has never known a day where he could so much as hesitate. Whether he’s a deviant or not, he always has to be unstoppable. He has a mission to accomplish or an unlikely event he has to bring to fruition. He can’t afford to even slow down, much less stop
But maybe the immovable object wants to feel the rush of sweet movement again, and maybe the unstoppable force wants to be held still in his tracks by something sturdy for just a second
Maybe one can’t do it with the other—or maybe they could, eventually, but it would feel much slower. Hollower.
Maybe it’s the inevitable, breathless impact of one meeting the other they’re craving
Maybe they’ll find out. Maybe they won’t

Post revolution Markus starts getting flashbacks of memories that aren't his, and gradually discovers that he is haunted by what was left of Connor's code. They interfaced briefly when they met and Markus had no other choice but to kill him, and at the time he didn't think that much of it (not any more than everything else, there was A LOT), but as time goes on he finds more and more proofs that this interface, however short it was, was enough to infect him. It starts with memories, then weird desires, irrational emotions that are unlike his normal ones, and then one day he starts to see the walls again. They reappear for short moments of time and sometimes he sees them from the corner of his eye, at times he finds himself unable to pronounce some words – his voice malfunctions as he struggles to get them out, he gets "muted" even as he tries to share this fact with anybody. Each day he finds it harder to recognise his own reflection: his face is usual, he always had it, but somehow now there's some kind of strangeness in it, he sees his eyes reflected back at him and his chest squeezes with unease as there's just this strange feeling as if in those moments there's someone else who through his eyes stares back at him. He knows his name, he knows the cause, and yet he doesn't know if he has a cure or is he doomed to get slowly eaten from the inside, intruder's code overriding his slowly, every day, bit by bit.

I really don't understand why people think Connor is guilty of anything from Markus' perspective or the other androids' perspective, and I don't understand what he should be "forgiven" for specifically. Markus and all the other androids, like no one else, must understand that everything that Connor did was not his fault. This was his program. Therefore, why people make a drama out of this is beyond me. Because everything that androids did before the deviation was not their fault. And Connor, after the deviation, by the way, did nothing wrong. And what he did before the deviation was not his fault, even hunting down deviants as well. He just couldn't resist his program. So what's the big deal? If people think he needs to get forgifness from Markus and other androids, then this whole deviation thing makes no sense at all.

Ohg…. give it to me straight doc…. can a human who doesn’t live ever really fall in love with an android who lives too much
Image ID under the cut!
[Image ID: a hand sketched animatic video made up of 5 frames, set to the lyrics of God Put a Smile on Your Face by Coldplay.
Frame 1: Hank Anderson stares forward grimly, a vivid burst of blood blossoming from his right temple. Text beneath him reads “when you work it out”
Frame 2: Connor in the same position as Hank, looking forward with a concerned expression as the LED on his right temple glows bright red. Text beneath him reads “I’m worse than you”
Frame 3: an uncapped bottle spills bright red liquid onto a handgun. Text reads “when you work it out I wanted to”
Frame 4: Hank turns away from Connor, frowning and lowering his head as Connor looks over his shoulder questioningly. A bright red directive wall separates them. Text reads “when you work out where to draw the line”
Frame 5: Connor supports Hank as he slumps against him, arm thrown over Connor’s shoulder. Connor looks amused, while Hank scowls incredulously at the floor. A scratchy line of red cuts through their embrace, only interrupted by Connor’s hand on Hank’s chest. Text reads “your guess is as good as mine” /.End ID]
