The second interview for my promotion went really well! They’re gonna let me know by the end of the week. It was very stressful to have to interview with a panel of my own colleagues especially on the backend of having COVID so I’m glad that’s behind me. Also since I’ll be full time staff I get benefits so I can’t wait to finally have sweet sweet healthcare!!!

Common Dental Emergencies: Be Prepared with Acacia Dental
Emergencies in dental care can be unsettling, but being informed empowers you to act swiftly. At Acacia Dental, we understand the importance of recognizing and addressing common dental emergencies promptly. Here are some scenarios and guidance to navigate them effectively:
Toothaches
Persistent tooth pain can signify an underlying issue such as decay or infection. Rinse your mouth with warm water, floss to ensure no debris is causing discomfort, and contact us for an appointment.
Knocked-Out Teeth
Time is crucial! Handle the tooth by the crown, not the root, and gently rinse it without scrubbing. If possible, place it back in the socket or in a glass of milk. Seek immediate dental care for the highest chance of successful re-implantation.
Broken Fillings or Crowns
A broken filling or crown exposes the vulnerable tooth to potential damage. Save any pieces, avoid chewing on that side, and schedule an appointment for repair.
Abscesses
Swelling, severe pain, or a pimple-like bump on the gums might indicate an abscess. This is a serious infection requiring immediate attention to prevent further complications.
Lost or Broken Braces
Issues with braces, like broken wires or brackets, can cause discomfort or affect treatment progress. Contact your orthodontist promptly for guidance on temporary solutions until a professional fix.
Prompt action and seeking professional dental care are crucial in handling these emergencies effectively. Remember, Acacia Dental is here to support and provide timely care in any dental crisis.
Stay informed, stay prepared, and know that our team at Acacia Dental in Tempe, AZ, is ready to assist you through any dental emergency.
