If Kate really doesn't go to Singapore, I think it shows the issue with all of the insistence (by both royal watchers and KP comms) that W&K didn't/don't need to prioritize work while the kids are young. The truth of the matter is that kids of all ages need quality time with their parents, from toddlers all the way to teenagers. But that doesn't mean W&K can half-ass their professional duties until Louis turns 18.

I understand that W&K don't want the kids to regularly be in front of the cameras or for them to feel like they're constantly being abandoned by their parents traveling for work. But they can't have their cake and eat it too

What do you do as a job?

I'm an animation layout artist for TV animation ^^ which basically means I set up the shots, poses, compositions, and backgrounds of certain episode sequences that get delivered to the other studio departments. We always joke that the layout department is the frontlines of animation.
