Man, outlining “yeah, you’ve basically hit a dead end this playthrough/you’re making some questionable decisions right now” scenes in a visual novel is rough.

Like the characters shouldn’t be going “I only have four affection hearts with you, there is no way you’re getting on my route,” but I think it’s important for there to be subtext to indicate the player is probably heading towards either a bad end or a route they weren’t aiming for.
