Here is my new SoapGhost+AleRudy fic.
Ghost and Soap are on leave in Mexico, and on the last day, Alejandro gives Simon some advice that leads to an unexpected result. 1735 words.
Tumblr media
The hot Mexican sun began to sink towards the sunset, painting the endless sky in hundreds of shades of red and orange. It was still light, but garlands of multi-colored lanterns were already lit above the tables and the bar outside. There was nothing but desert and hills around, but Ghost, who sat at the counter with Alejandro, knew that Monterey was somewhere to the south and the US border to the north. This complex was about halfway between them: an indoor restaurant, an outdoor bar with music to dance to, a truck stop, and a small motel. Truckers, bikers, and tourists traveling to Mexico by car, as well as smugglers and bandits stopped here for to rest. The the latter, however, were especially quiet today because Los Vaqueros, led by their commander, Colonel Alejandro Vargas, as well as two members of TF 141—Lieutenant Riley and Sergeant MacTavish—were resting here.
You can keep reading here or on Ao3
“It’s good that you came to us on leave.” Alejandro said, taking his glass of whiskey.
“Yeah.” Ghost answered, smoking his cigarette. “Thank you for inviting us. And for this party.”
“It was Rudy’s idea.” The colonel smiled a little crookedly. “Like you, I’m not too fond of it all, but it doesn’t hurt for the boys to have a little fun.”
“Looks like they’re really having fun.” The lieutenant said, glancing at the dance floor.
Several Vaqueros crowded around Rudy and Johnny, who were dancing to some Mexican song. They were holding beer bottles and laughing merrily as they moved quickly and rhythmically, one opposite the other. Ghost involuntarily stared at how easy and casual Soap was dancing. The lieutenant didn’t know if Johnny learned it somewhere or if it was a natural ability, but it was impossible not to admire the way he moved his hips. Rodolfo, however, was no worse, and two sergeants seem to be having a dance battle to the whistles and cheers of the Vaqueros. If someone were to look at Riley and Vargas sitting behind the counter now, they couldn’t help but notice how identical their gazes were, directed at the dancers. They were full of tenderness, warmth, and love that were not characteristic of these tough and harsh warriors.
Alejandro twirled in his fingers the wedding ring that hung on a chain around his neck, along with his dog tags. Simon smiled quietly, shaking the glass in his hand in time with the music.
“Hey, Lt.!” Johnny turned and waved at Ghost, then went back to dancing.
Simon’s smile grew wider; then he suddenly sighed and sipped his whiskey. Alejandro looked at him with a slight frown and asked:
“What’s wrong, hermano*?”
Ghost didn’t answer immediately. He looked at Johnny and Rudy, sighed again, and reached into his jeans pocket, touching something that was lying there.
“I wanted to propose to him while on this leave.” He said it quietly. “But somehow there was no right moment, you know.”
The colonel raised his eyebrow in surprise, not imagining that Riley could be so indecisive. However, then he remembered how he hesitated himself, how he waited for the best moment, and how, as a result, everything turned out completely differently than he had planned. He began to talk about how any moment was right for soldiers like them because their lives were unpredictable and could end at any second. Ghost listened to him, but then the shouts and laughter from the side of the dance floor grew louder, and they both turned their gazes there again.
The music changed, and Soap, cheered by the delighted audience, jumped onto the table. Smoothly swaying his hips, he slowly took off his T-shirt and started twirling it over his head. Rodolfo stared at Johnny for a few seconds. Then he joined and started to move in time with Soap, undoing the buttons on his cowboy shirt.
Alejandro put down his glass and stood up, frowning. Ghost followed his example. They looked at each other and made a determined move to the dance floor to stop their partners, who had crossed all boundaries of decency. At least, the colonel thought that was what they were going for, but the lieutenant had other plans. He walked slowly, clutching the object in his pocket with his fingers, and meanwhile, Alejandro was already at the table, extending his hand to Rudy.
“Hey, cowboy,” he said, smiling, “why don’t you come with me?”
“So, Ale?” Fired up by the dance, Rodolfo, in his unbuttoned shirt, laughed merrily and took the colonel’s hand extended to him. “Do you have a stallion that I need to ride?”
The Vaqueros let out a restrained chuckle, enjoying the sight. Alejandro’s gaze became absolutely mad, and Rudy finally jumped off the table, holding onto his hand. Whispering something in the colonel’s ear, the Vaqueros sergeant dragged him to the motel to the applause of their soldiers. Ghost noticed the same chain with dog tags and a wedding ring as Alejandro’s around Rudy’s neck.
“And what aboot ye, Lt.?” Soap’s voice snapped Ghost out of his thoughts, and he looked at his sergeant, who continued. “Dae ye want a private dance tae?”
He smiled and tossed his T-shirt into Simon’s hands; the Vaqueros exchanged glances, anticipating the show to continue.
“Actually, I want something else.” Ghost said. “I want you to marry me, Johnny.”
There was silence after these words. Everyone held their breath, and Lieutenant Riley pulled out a wedding ring from his pocket and handed it to Sergeant MacTavish.
Johnny, half-naked and standing on the table, suddenly felt awkward. He had imagined this moment many times, but he was sure that Simon wasn’t ready for such a serious step. And so, it turned out that the lieutenant wasn’t just ready but also completely disregarded the situation and the audience.
“Is that... a proposal?” Soap asked quietly, and a blush covered his cheeks.
“Negative.” Ghost answered firmly. “It’s an order!”
“Well… So aye, sir!”
Johnny reached out, and Simon put the ring on his finger before lifting him off the table, grabbing him by the waist, and kissing him passionately to the whistles and cheers of the Vaqueros.
The party continued, but without Ghost and Soap. They went to their room, which was next door to Alejandro and Rudy’s, to celebrate their engagement, just the two of them. They took a bottle of whiskey but didn’t even touch it; as soon as the door closed behind them, Johnny pressed his whole body against Simon, kissed him again, and pulled him into bed.
It was dawning when Soap finally fell asleep. Tired and happy, he lay naked with his arms and legs spread out so he occupied almost the entire wide double bed. Ghost could move him and lie down too, but instead he covered Johnny with a thin blanket and leaned down, kissing his temple. Then he pulled on his jeans and balaclava and left the room, clutching his cigarettes.
It was very quiet around: the music wasn’t playing, the bar and dance floor were empty. The dawn sun painted the sky a soft pink in the east, while it was still dark above the lieutenant’s head. He lit his cigarette, took a long drag with pleasure, and, unusually for him, a warm and joyful smile appeared on his lips.
Not so long ago, Ghost thought that he would never be able to feel happy again. The terrible trials that befell him didn’t let him go even in his sleep, and he learned to live with them until a ray of sunshine called Johnny MacTavish appeared in his gloomy life. His warmth and irresistible cheerfulness melted the ice that bound Lieutenant Riley’s wounded heart; now he could feel joy, smile, and love again.
The door’s creak and footsteps distracted Ghost from his thoughts. He tensed, but immediately relaxed again when Alejandro sat next to him on the stairs and also lit a cigarette.
“Can’t sleep?” The colonel asked.
“Yeah, something like that.” Ghost smirked, glancing at Alejandro slyly. “I followed your advice.”
“What advice?” Alejandro raised his eyebrow.
“I proposed to Johnny.” The lieutenant said. “Didn’t wait any longer. And he said ‘yes’.”
“You what?” The colonel stared at Ghost, forgetting about the cigarette in his fingers. “When?!”
Riley briefly told when and how everything happened, and Alejandro laughed. Then he stopped abruptly, looked at the lieutenant again, and shook his head.
“What?” Ghost asked. “You said that every moment is good for this, aren’t you?”
“Yes, but not this moment!” Alejandro exclaimed. “Not the moment when your boyfriend is dancing striptease on the fucking table! However, never mind. ‘m happy for you, hermano!”
“Thank you.” The lieutenant nodded and stood up. “See you later.”
Alejandro waved and lit another cigarette.
Ghost quietly returned to the room. It was hot here despite the open window, and Johnny managed to throw off the covers. Looking at him tenderly, the lieutenant took off his boots and jeans, adjusted his balaclava, and lay down. Soap didn’t wake up but stirred, clinging to Ghost and wrapping his arms and legs around him. It was even hotter that way, but Simon knew it was impossible to push Johnny away, and he didn’t really want to. Smiling, he kissed the sergeant’s sweaty temple through his balaclava and closed his eyes.
Rodolfo hadn’t been sleeping so soundly, so when Alejandro entered the room, he opened his eyes and lifted himself up on his elbows.
“Where have you been?” He asked, yawning.
“Smoked.” Alejandro answered and smiled. “I met Ghost and he told me that he proposed to Soap when we went away. Can you imagine it?”
Rudy opened his mouth, really trying to imagine, then laughed, shaking his head.
“I’d like to see how they’ll tell their children about it, if they ever have them.” He said it cheerfully and continued, trying to copy Sergeant MacTavish’s Scottish accent. “Well, yer dad proposed tae me while I was standing half-naked oan th’ table where I’d been dancing after drinking tequila ‘n’ beer.”
“That sounds terrible.” Alejandro laughed, taking off his clothes.
He lay down, hugging Rudy, who rested his head on the colonel’s shoulder, fingers fumbling for the wedding ring on the chain around his neck.
“Te amo mi corazón.**” Alejandro whispered. “Let’s get some sleep.”
Rodolfo smiled happily, closing his eyes, and they quickly fell asleep to rest before returning to their hard but much-needed work.
*Hermano (Spanish) – brother
**Te amo mi corazón (Spanish) – I love you, my heart

General SFW Prewar!Cooper Howard Headcanons 2
(I'll do some Ghoul SFW in a follow-up; this got away from me a little.)
Clearly he enjoys film and theatre, but he has a fairly secret soft spot for musicals. Pretty much any musical will pique his interest, and you'll spend a fair few date nights out seeing shows. You find it very endearing that he wants to share his interests with you. He's got an especially soft spot for some of the older, cheesier musicals though; hope you're ready to see "Brigadoon" like a half dozen times! He's got that one on tape.
"Old Yeller" is banned media in the Howard household (as are most things about dogs who die), as well as books like "The Velveteen Rabbit", which he read to Janey when she was four and never truly recovered from. Coop cries like a baby every time and gets so embarrassed. You once asked Janey if she'd ever seen it, and she tells you, rather conspiratorially, that she once watched it at a friend's house.
The old man actually cries quite easily when he's moved by something. He'll try to hide it away, but every once in a while he fully loses it (tbh it's the 'child death' type stuff that really upsets him; to this day, he's still a little mad at Barb for showing him "Bridge to Terabithia" on family movie night and thinking he would like it). You think it's the sweetest thing and you always reassure him that it's nothing to be ashamed of.
I imagine that, like a good, engaged father, he takes a particular interest in Janey's likes and hobbies; if you ask him what she likes, he can give you an entire list of things you can engage with her on, every single one of them accurate and up-to-date. If Janey really likes a book series, he'll read it (or maybe listen to it if he's short on time). If she really likes a band, y'all have fun at the concert! Every group comes through LA so you may be going to several concerts a year eventually. He even knows who her favorite member is! He only falls in love with you more when you do the same with her.
He's a true romantic at heart; despite being really torn up about the divorce and thinking he'll never fall in love again, he does, and hard. It's not long before he (unbelievably, to him especially) finds himself wanting to propose. He waits a while, though, wanting to feel out the dynamic between you and Janey, worrying about how Barb will feel when she ultimately finds out. He doesn't want to be married to her anymore, but he still cares for her, and he doesn't want to hurt her.
I'd like to think that he and Barb had a pretty nice, large wedding (as I've said before, likely at an older age than many of their peers, even if, canonically, it seems they were already dating during Cooper's military service; they both strike me as the type to want to wait until they were better established to actually marry). Not anything too crazy, but since Cooper's career was really starting to take off, she did want to use the wedding as an opportunity to rub elbows, so there were quite a few people in attendance that he flat-out didn't know. It didn't bother him much at the time; Barb always loved an opportunity to network and Coop could never deny her anything. But, given a chance to do it over, I think he'd do things differently.
With you, he'd wanna go to the courthouse. He'd be happy to have a nice, private ceremony eventually, maybe a little vow renewal for your one-year down on the beach in Mexico or something. But when you get legally married it'll be at the courthouse, just the two of you and Janey. You wouldn't have it any other way.
You try your best to keep it under wraps, but, well...marriage licenses are a matter of public record, and there are people whose whole job is to unearth things like that. The fallout (ha) from it may be stronger than you anticipated, but, at the end of the day, you have one another, and you're happy with that.

Random Headcanons for TF 141 and co.
Just a collection of HC I have for the Modern Warfare characters :3 This could be a Part 1 we’ll see
Tumblr media
- Price was definitly invited to Laswell’s wedding, he will never admit it but he ugly cried when Kate and her Wife danced
- I think Ghost would be really into gardening or plants in general, I don’t know why but I think he owns like a shit load of Plants (they also have names)
- Graves knows how to play drums and is good at it too. He took lessons in school since he wanted to learn an instrument, he shows his skills of from time to time and enjoys the reaction it gets out of people
- Ghost and Price exchange book recommendations
- Gaz can sing really well. Price walked in on him quietly singing once and was flabbergasted
- Soap owns a lot, A LOT of stuffed animals
- I am a firm believer that Graves owns a dog (I’m thinking a Golden Retriever). He also spoils the shit out of that dog
- Even after the Mission ended and Ghost & Soap left Mexico they still stay in contact with Alejandro and Rudy. They also come visit them when they get the time.
 - Alejandro is GREAT with Kids. They love him. There could be a child crying on the other side of the room, as soon as they lay eyes on Alejandro they stop and make grabby hands at him. He also enjoys spending time with his soldiers and they’re familys, all the kids call him Uncle :3
- Price cares strongy about his team. He slipped up more then once while drunk and called Gaz his son (also almost knocked a guy out once who said some mean shit to soap)
- Laswell’s office is a Safespace for LGBTQ+ recrutes (Price is very supportive aswell)
- I feel like Graves has a younger sibling. Like atleast 7-8 years younger. He definitly was the type of brother who stood threateningly behind his sibling when someone was being a dick to them
- Alex LOVES sweets. He will go out of his way to get them
- 141 do karaoke nights. Ghost has a video saved on this phone of Gaz and Soap singing and dancing to single ladys and he will NEVER give it up
- After very hard missions the 141 guys will sometimes just sit close together in silence and do something like reading a book or cleaning there weapons. Not talking but enjoying the comforting presence of their teammates feeling releaved all of them made it back.
- Alejandro once walked in on a very teary eyed Graves. The stress had gotten to him and he broke down in his room thinking that no one would see. They just stared at eachother for a moment before Alejandro left the room returning a few minutes later with a bottle and two glasses. No word was said, they just drank in silence until the bottle was almost empty. Alejandro gave Graves a comforting pet on the back and left. It was probebly the only somewhat calm moment they ever had together.

Something something dogs love unconditionally dogs follow their people everywhere dogs hide when they're in pain dogs love to be praised dogs get all mopey when they're scolded dogs let out these most dramatic little sighs dogs love it when you cup their face in your hands dogs get skittish easily am I making any sense here.....
It's about how Mickey will follow Ian anywhere—whether it be chasing him down at a nightclub or fucking him under the school bleachers. He can't say anything but he's gotta mark his territory and make sure everyone knows to stay the fuck away from Ian Gallagher.
It's about how no matter what Ian does Mickey will always come back—from his marriage, from prison, from Mexico, from a breakup—and he will go back to Ian because that is his person, that is the only person he trusts. Even when he's angry, all "jesus christ, Ian," he still says "of course I'll fuckin' marry you" because it's a given. It's always a given with Mickey and Ian.
It's about how when he was hurting and in pain, Mickey went to a place where Ian challenged him, where he threw down the gauntlet that changed their relationship completely ("he isn't afraid to kiss me"), and he hid there until Ian found him. Ian tried to coax him out but ended up getting bitten. But he lets Mickey bite and snarl because that's what he needs, and Ian doesn't care if his hands come out mangled and bloody. Ian will kiss Mickey at the other boy's wedding and he'll taste blood on his lips, and he'll hope it's enough. (it's enough it's enough but not enough to change things)
It's about the Mickey only Ian gets to see, who preens when he's praised and scowls when he's scolded. In the bedroom, sure, but just in general as well. How Ian knows him inside and out, how he has to try not to laugh when Mickey lets out that little frustrated sigh and almost stomps his foot when there's the tiniest inconvenience, because he's not living in survival mode anymore and he's allowed to get mad about the little things now.
It's about Mickey being Ian's guard dog and how he went to the person he hates the most, who tormented him for most of his life, just so he could find a way to protect Ian. It's the way he never gave up, not really. Even at the start—the very start—Ian had to hold out his hand, and Mickey was a feral dog who eventually came to appreciate the warmth and comfort that Ian could give him.
It's about the way Ian can do anything and Mickey will still be waiting. How when he's throwing a fit, Ian can take Mickey's face in his hands and kisses him all over. And just because Mickey complains about it and tries to shove off, he still loves it when Ian shows him physical affection. They didn't get that chance for so long, so now they take every opportunity. And it's how Mickey will curl up on Ian's lap, or vice versa, just for the comfort and the warmth and needing to have that connection...
It's about love, and trust, and devotion, and how all of it comes with teeth and hunger, but Ian doesn't mind when Mickey has his claws brandished and is ready to rip throats out, because Mickey is his, and Ian is Mickey's, and they protect each other no matter what it takes.

Hi Deck! How about 12, 18 or 41 for the Gallavich headcanons? 😊
oooo these are really good ones hehe
12. What's their lock screen(s)?
I honestly feel like Mickey might just have the default lockscreen for whatever phone he has. I love the headcanons where Mickey is a little technology clueless or just doesn't care enough to be good with technology. It also just gives him a silly little excuse to get Ian to help him. If he has changed his lockscreen, I feel like it's something that he finds edgy, maybe something he drew? Like a little sketch of a skull or knife. I do think that his homescreen is probably a picture of Ian or them on their wedding day, and I think it's in black and white!
Ian definitely changes his lockscreen frequently, maybe even has one that changes pictures every time you activate the lockscreen. I feel like they're definitely all of him and Mickey or just Mickey. If they ended up adopting a cat/dog, they're definitely in the mix too.
18. Did Mickey give bubble baths another chance?
I think so! I think it took some coaxing on Ian's part, maybe getting them a hotel room with a tub that's bigger than the one they have at their apartment or at the Gallagher house. Maybe Ian makes a big spectacle about it because he really wants Mickey to enjoy it and take sometime to relax with him - getting a fancy bubble bath bar from LUSH or maybe even a bath bomb, setting out some ice cold beers for the two of them, playing some indie playlist on their small Bluetooth speaker, maybe giving him a bath handjob to sweeten the deal. I think Mickey def ends up liking baths with Ian, even in the tiny tub of their apartment and even without all of the extras. It's time for just him and his husband to relax together after a long day of work.
41. What's their biggest regret?
I feel like Ian really regrets not seeing Mickey in prison more, even though it's not something he could really change. He wasn't well at the time, but it still makes him feel awful that he didn't go see Mickey more often. I'm sure he probably regrets not going to Mexico, too? But I think that decision would have been really difficult for Ian. He'd miss his family SO much.
Mickey regrets not getting Ian help sooner, not listening to Ian's family when they told him that he needed to go to a clinic when he was having a downswing the first time. I think he really wishes that he was there through Ian finding the right meds to manage his bipolar.
I think as a couple they just wish they had more time together when they were growing up? I feel like they both know that it couldn't have been much different with Terry around, but there's a part of me that feels like Mickey and Ian both wish that they could have been more out in the public with each other when they were younger, going on dates and all.
send me a gallavich headcanon!

Love Spells and Mistakes - Part 1 - Build A Fic
Tumblr media Tumblr media
--
Rodolfo yawned, softly, as he walked into the command room. Alejandro was out at the moment and he doubted their friends from England had any too particularly pressing issues that would require them to be in the command room as of this moment.
Even still, he was shocked to see it was quite empty, save for Laswell, who was sat in a chair, her legs crossed over themselves. "Rodolfo!" She smiled as he came in. "You're up early."
"Big mission." Rodolfo nodded. He liked her. She was an alpha, but she didn't treat him, an omega, any different from anyone else. In fact, she was one to rarely mention presentations at all. "I don't know many of the details about it, yet."
"That's right. Alejandro asked me to hand you these." She nodded and sat up, dropping three files on the table. "He said he'll be back in a bit to tell you more about the mission."
Rodolfo frowned and took the files, opening them and finding himself surprised to see a file on both Ghost and Alejandro. "I don't think I need to see a file on my Colonel. We've been friends since we were children."
Laswell shrugged. "He said it was important that you have both files. Said it might help you choose."
Rodolfo made a face. "Agent Laswell, please. Can you just tell me what's going on?"
Laswell smiled, sympathetically. "Fine, I'm sorry. The mission you're going on is going to be in the United States. Graves has fled up there and you're going to be finding him. The problem is, he's definitely going to be expecting the Mexican Special Forces officers who he betrayed to be going after him.
Alejandro trusts no one else on the mission. So, you and either Ghost or the Colonel are the only options. Your mission will be to pretend to be in the states on a vacation with your husband. Whoever you choose will fill that role. Both alphas have presented a fake story that was made for them based on the skills they have for undercover work. Alejandro said it was entirely up to you and he knows this would likely be a hard decision for you."
Rodolfo stared at her for a moment. His nerves over the mission had suddenly increased, tenfold. "I... Alright." He nodded and took a deep breath.
So, he picked up Ghost's file, first.
...
Lieutenant Simon Ghost Riley
Rodolfo and Simon have been married for five years. They're having marital issues so Rodolfo's mother suggested they go on a vacation and they landed on Georgia in the United States.
Simon, aged 30, is a successful businessman who owns several businesses across the United States, England, and Mexico. He came from a hard upbringing, which left his face scarred. As such, he wears a mask and he's become asocial, bordering on agoraphobic.
Rodolfo, aged 32, came from a poorer upbringing, so he doesn't know much about the middle class lifestyle. He's not completely social, either, but he does like going out and doing things 'on the town' so to speak.
Rodolfo and Simon met when Simon was on a trip in Mexico, working on acquiring another business. It was a fast, perhaps too fast, romance and they were married within a year and a half of meeting. Simon moved his primary residence to Mexico a month before they were to be married.
However, he spends much time in his other residences, leading to tension as Rodolfo feels neglected.
They own two large dogs, named Ryker and Dulce.
Lieutenant Riley has very little experience in this form of espionage, but he's scored high in proficiency for it.
He was chosen because his profile matched Sergeant Major Parra's profile at an overall 82%.
Sexual Compatibility - 94% Romantic Compatibility - 75% Platonic Compatibility - 84% Domestic Compatibility - 75%
...
He blushed dark red at seeing that not only was sexual compatibility was listed, but it was a whopping 94%. He quickly put the file down before he thought too much about it and he turned to Alejandro's file.
...
Colonel Alejandro Vargas
Alejandro and Rodolfo are newly weds, freshly married on their honeymoon. They chose Georgia in the United States to find somewhere new to go outside of their hometown.
Alejandro, aged 32, is a fresh faced doctor. He's newly successful and ready to spoil his new bride. He's incredibly social, which is a contrast to his partner, but he's known to stay home if Rodolfo asks him to.
Rodolfo, aged 32, is a stay at home wife, who's getting ready to do online classes in his free time so he can get a degree. He's not completely social, but he does like going out and doing things 'on the town' so to speak.
Rodolfo and Alejandro were childhood sweethearts. They were together for 16 years before choosing to marry because Alejandro wanted to finish his degree before asking.
They were pressured into a prenup by Alejandro's family, leading to slight tension in their fresh marriage.
They do not own pets.
Alejandro has mild experience in this form of espionage but he scored high in proficiency for it.
He was chosen because his profile matched Sergeant Major Parra's profile at an overall 83.5%.
Sexual Compatibility - 88% Romantic Compatibility - 92% Platonic Compatibility - 85% Domestic Compatibility - 69%
...
Rodolfo was quite surprised at the number for romantic compatibility, not having expected he and Alejandro to be so... compatible in that area. Platonic made sense, though he was surprised it wasn't higher. He would admit, the domestic compatibility being so low made him a little disappointed, but that was more than made up for by the romantic compatibility.
He set Alejandro's file down and looked at Laswell, who was watching him, expectantly.
"Maybe you should read the mission file before deciding." She gestured to the third file.
Rodolfo hesitated before nodding and took up the file.
...
The Mission
Commander Phillip Graves of the Shadow Company was last seen in Georgia. It is believed he has a safehouse there that he is laying low in. Your mission will be to travel to Georgia and get close to his connections in order to find him.
There are four known connections in the state of Georgia.
Damian Smith Liam Martin Dale Horran Emily Black
One of the four of them are suspected to have the safehouse location. You will need to gain their trust and then either follow them to Graves or find some other way of locating the information.
Your implant team will have everything set up for your arrival, including a
Mating Suite and the Twin Flames Hotel Several romantic dates which will involve each of the four members above A car to get around the coastal town you will be staying in A full wardrobe which will be fully suited to the characters you will be playing And an arsenal of supplies, weapons, and gadgets that will aid you in your mission.
This mission is estimated to last 6 weeks.
...
Rodolfo took a deep breath, now incredibly nervous for this mission. "I don't know if I'm the right choice for this mission..."
"Alejandro doesn't trust anyone else to run it." Laswell smiled, sympathetically. "He said he knew you could do it, as long as you were confident and didn't get too into your own head."
Rodolfo hesitated before relaxing and nodding. "Okay... I..." He looked over Ghost and Alejandro's file.
"There is a third option." Laswell spoke up. "A third backstory but... it's complicated and I'm only allowed to explain it to you if you choose it. But... Alejandro mentioned that you might need... extra help. So, Ghost and Alejandro are willing to make this work with both of them, should you choose that option."
Rodolfo saw her drop a fourth file on the table and he bit the inside of his lip, looking down at the table.
Two alphas, both of whom had their merits.
Alejandro, who he knew it might be easier to pretend around because he knew Alejandro so well.
However, it might be awkward because of how well they knew each other. How does one just pretend to be in love with the alpha you grew up with?
And Ghost, who he didn't know very well, yet, but who it might be easier to pretend with for lack of awkwardness. They didn't know each other very well and Rodolfo remembered Ghost as easy to work with from the mission where they broke Alejandro out of prison.
However, both did sound appealing. Having both of them there might help him to feel a little more at ease and it would be the best of both worlds.
However, the worst of both, too...
He needed to choose. Laswell placed the fourth file between Ghost and Alejandro's and Rodolfo took a deep breath, looking over them, again.

cruisequarries PART TWO
PART ONE What did we get up to yesterday? 2018? Okay. I will put everything behind a spoiler cut again (there are more pictures/a video today).
Actually, let's rewind just a little, for some Fallout premiere pictures just because.
Paris, July 12th:
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
London, July 13th:
Tumblr media
Seoul, July 16th (according to the designer's website, the hanbok Heather is wearing was designed as a wedding dress, mmhmm)...
Tumblr media
I love this picture because they're making those faces at Chris. Here's the bit of Tom making Heather cry in Tokyo:
I highly recommend listening to Tom & Chris commentary track on Fallout, which starts with McQ introducing himself as the writer/director and then Tom introducing himself - as McQ's friend. After the Fallout press tour wraps up, work starts in earnest on Top Gun: Maverick, which Tom and McQ have been discussing - idly, on McQ's part - for years now. "Our relationship is one long conversation about movies," indeed.
Tumblr media
While TGM is filming, pre-production is also happening on MI:DR, which McQ has signed on to direct. (These two are usually juggling at least two projects at a time, and really it's probably more like five projects at a time.)
In January of 2019, they're all back in LA so Tom and McQ can pick up some awards.
Tumblr media
The McQuarries also go to a premiere and look fantastic (I love McQ's suit):
Tumblr media
Tom and McQ go to Ukraine to scout Dead Reckoning locations later in 2019, meet President Zelenskyy, and McQ gets to put his arm around Tom for once instead of their usual other way around.
Tumblr media
OH NO I ALMOST FORGOT - at the end of 2019, Tom took the whole McQ clan with him to Las Vegas to see Lady Gaga and ask her to write the TGM song. [cries in 'that's his family']
Tumblr media
Production ramps up on DR - and then unfortunately, as we all know, COVID. Most of the cast and crew were in Venice when everything shut down, but Tom hadn't arrived yet.
Production resumes in Rome in October (their production struggles/trying to keep everyone employed/Tom rightfully yelling at people to follow protocols because a lot of jobs depend on them is all well documented), and then moves to Venice. Heather and the dogs are also part of this traveling band.
Tumblr media
This isn't six feet apart, dudes...
Tumblr media
Production breaks for the holidays, and resumes in Abi Dhabi for the airport/desert sequences, and also one of my favorite pictures of Tom and Heather, just for her expression.
Tumblr media
Train sequence filming in Yorkshire in April of 2021, that's Heather in the blue coat:
Tumblr media
DR production then breaks for a bit over the summer so Tom can take all his friends to Wimbledon, go to several car things, and make McQ watch football (the soccer version).
Tumblr media
DR filming resumes in the fall/winter. Heather goes with to South Africa and they rent out what is basically an adults-only hotel (and save it from having to close!), for part of their stay. I love this picture because Gypsy looks so long-suffering:
Tumblr media
OKAY IT'S 2022 NOW, time for the Top Gun: Maverick premiere tour to start - finally! (Do any of these people SLEEP? No. I think it's well-documented that Tom Cruise does not sleep, which is part of what makes him Tom Cruise, but also this means he calls McQ at two in the morning to talk about movies. There's a podcast somewhere where McQ says he thinks Tom might sleep "between the 2:05 email and the 2:40 email", or something along those lines.) (After getting back from South Africa, there was a bunch of test screening stuff for TGM, which is why there are those parking garage pictures. Wouldn't the movie be done, you'd think, since it was supposed to be out in 2020? COVID gave them a reason to tinker with it even more.) The San Diego premiere on the USS MIdway (all the McQs were there, but there aren't any good pictures):
Tumblr media
Then Tom went to Mexico, and McQ went home to London for a few days before Tom returned, and they went to the Royal Windsor horse show together.
Tumblr media
THEN EVERYONE WENT TO CANNES. Sorry I have just a shitty screencap with a watermark here but alas tumblr only lets you put one video per post. Tom and McQ stopped to get their picture taken en route to the actual photocall and Tom made Heather come back and be in the pictures with them. There is video here.
Tumblr media
Cannes, of course, was amazing. I have garbage homemade gifs but they're too big for tumblr (also they're garbage) but all the Cannes red carpet footage is available on YouTube, here and here. (Worth it for Heather, tbh.)
Tumblr media
They went straight from Cannes - on Tom's helicopter - back to London for the Royal premiere. Where the McQuarries looked amazing and McQ wore his McQ shoes.
Tumblr media
And the after party, because heaven forbid they not all ride in the same car:
Tumblr media
And then the McQuarries got a slight break, while Tom went to do more TGM press. But he was back in London by the end of June, and they went on what can only be described as a string of dates. First, they went to the Rolling Stones concert at Hyde Park.
Tumblr media
McQ was on Tom's other side, but he's only visible in video (the Daily Mail might be garbage but they do come through with the media).
Then Tom and Heather went to The Eagles show at Hyde Park:
Tumblr media
And they all went to see Adele - also at Hyde Park. (The woman in the pink sweater is Tom's CAA agent Maha Dakhil Jackson - I found the picture where you can see Heather over Tom's shoulder.)
Tumblr media
Then for Tom's birthday, they went to the F1 British Grand Prix (with some other TGM folks, but they aren't three steps behind Tom like the McQuarries are).
Tumblr media
Oh no, we're not done. Tom takes Heather to Wimbledon, where she holds his sunglasses (not visible in this picture).
Tumblr media
McQ did not go with, as he was recording a Light the Fuse podcast - which he surprise-dialled in a bunch of DR folks - and his final surprise was Tom. Who was still at Wimbledon with Heather. McQ calls Heather to get Tom, and Heather plays dumb and is like, "oh I don't know where he is, did you try calling him?" and Chris says he already told the podcast guys that they were together. So Tom does his segment from the car he's in with Heather, and his part is only supposed to be like ten minutes but he talks for about forty-five and this includes telling the world they basically all live together. Then they went out to dinner!
Tumblr media
And the next day they all went to Wimbledon with Maha and her husband.
Tumblr media
I'm stopping here because this is already SO LONG and 2023 is going to be wild just by itself! PART THREE

When John F. and Jacqueline Kennedy moved in together for the first time as newlyweds, they rented a four-bedroom townhouse in Georgetown, with oak floors, huge windows, and an English-style back garden with a brick walkway and bright flower beds.
Now, for the first time, that house is about to hit the real estate market, having been kept in the owner’s family since it was built in 1942.
The list price is $2 million.
Tumblr media
John and Jackie married on 12 September 1953, in Newport, Rhode Island.
It was the high-society event of the season, with more than 700 guests.
After they honeymooned in Mexico, Jackie, 24, stayed with her in-laws in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts, while John, a 36-year-old freshman senator, visited on the weekends.
Jackie wasn’t a huge fan of the arrangement and was “anxious” to get a place of their own, according to Anne Garside in her book “Camelot at Dawn: Jacqueline and John Kennedy in Georgetown, May 1954.”
John’s secretary found the furnished rental at 3321 Dent Pl. NW in December 1953; the couple moved in just after the holidays, in January 1954.
Tumblr media
Jackie was no newcomer to the Washington area. She had spent part of her childhood in the tony suburb of McLean, Virginia, and had been working as a photographer for the Washington Times-Herald when she met Kennedy in 1952.
According to Garside, John already had ambitions for the White House and welcomed any press attention, so when a photo agency suggested a spread on Jackie’s homemaking skills in the spring of 1954, he and Jackie readily agreed.
From May 4 to 9, photographer Orlando Suero took more than a thousand photos of the couple in their rented home, many of which ended up in the women’s magazine McCall’s.
In the photos, the house holds the couple like a warm embrace. Here, they lean side by side against a balcony railing; there, John relaxes with a book in the sunny backyard while Jackie tends the garden.
There are photos of Jackie coming down the stairs in a ballgown for a candlelit dinner party.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
There are others showing her dressed “casually” in a plaid pencil skirt while talking on the phone in a second-floor bedroom and on the patio petting the dog.
Suero even captured the couple looking through their wedding photos together.
“The sessions reflected the image that the Kennedys themselves wished to project,” Garside wrote: glamorous, rich, young and powerful.
Even so, she wrote, a present-day reflection on all that would befall them makes them appear “strangely vulnerable” in the photos.
Tumblr media
The Kennedys damaged a number of items in the home in only six months, leading to a large bill upon moving out — $385.49, or about $4,300 in today’s money.
The listing includes a photo of a letter from Jackie to her landlord Virginia Childs, reading:
Tumblr media
After Dent Place, the Kennedys spent a few months at Jackie’s family home in McLean, where they experienced their first great trial as a couple.
John’s chronic back problems became so severe, he required a spinal-fusion operation and nearly died of a resulting infection. They spent time in Florida while he recovered.
When they returned to Washington, the couple moved to Hickory Hill in McLean.
It was there the Kennedys experienced another tragedy: In August 1956, their first child, Arabella, was stillborn.
The couple would later lose another child, Patrick, who died at 2 days old in 1963; months later, Kennedy was assassinated.
“Their stay in the house at Dent Place has received only passing mentions in books about the Kennedys,” Garside wrote. “Yet these few months in their first home were perhaps the only relatively normal time in J[ohn] and Jackie’s married life.”
After Kennedy’s assassination, Jackie moved temporarily to Georgetown again, this time to a sprawling mansion on N Street NW.
Incredibly, that property is also on the market.
At $2 million, the Dent Place home is by far the cheaper of the two. The one on N Street, which has been combined with two adjacent properties, is listed at $26.5 million.

Patricia Julia Brose was born on May 10, 1949, in New York City, the daughter of Laura and Bill Ballinger, a writer of mystery stories.
At age 12, Brose was placed in a foster home because of her mother’s barbiturate addiction.
She went to San Marcos Senior High high school in Santa Barbara, and Pepperdine University college in LA.
Tumblr media
Julia began snorting cocaine at 18 while she was dancing at the famous Whiskey a Go Go in Los Angeles. It was there she met John Densmore of The Doors, in 1967. He recalls: "This girl had LRP: Long Range Potential. Her name was Julia Brose, and her father … was remarried to a bubbly blonde who supposedy looked like Julia's real mother. Apparently the real mother drank quite a bit… Julia and I consummated our brand-new relationship that night. There were no male blue balls in the sixties!"
In 1968 she was working in the A & R department of Liberty Records.
Tumblr media
By 1969 Julia got pregnant and John didn't know what to do, he recalls: "…on the way back to LA, Julia hit me with the news she was pregnant! Everything was great with us, and now she was pregnant! I didn't want to be a husband yet, let alone a father! I could tell by the look in Julia's eyes that she was hoping I'd say "Let's have it". I couldn't believe it – I was numb. I had asked now and then if Julia was using any kind of birth control, but in 1969, the assumption was that it was the girl's responsability, and we had little dialogue on the subject. Now we had a major problem. I was loaded with so much shame about sex, being raised a Catholic, I didn't inquire how it happened. Was it an accident? I didn't know. But I knew I was incensed. I didn't want a kid and I could tell she did." They didn't know what to do, and in the end John Densmore found a doctor and Julia agreed. They went to Mexico where abortions could be done and it was a place where The Doors could play as well. The doctor and the nurse of the hospital were very nice, and they came in the room where abortions were practised. "There was one of those tables with the stirrups at the end to hold up the patient's legs. Julia must have noticed them, 'cause she started crying. Before we came to Mexico she'd agreed it was the best thing to do. Her tears were like daggers in my heart".
Some months later, John asked Julia to marry, and she agreed. In October 1970 they exchanged rings in hte Pacific Palidases. Robby and Lynn Krieger where the best man and bridesmaid. Jim Morrison sang “Bridal Chorus" at their wedding, but the marriage was short lived.
Her mother died of an overdose in 1972 aged 47.
Tumblr media
After five years of marriage Julia left Densmore for Berry Oakley, the bassist for the Allman Brothers band. When she was six months pregnant, he died in a motorcycle accident on November 1972. On March 30, 1973, their son Berry Duane Oakley was born. His godfather is The Doors guitarist Robby Krieger.
Tumblr media
As a single mother in ther 20s, she turned to heroin to cope with the loss of both her mother and Berry.
Tumblr media
In 1976 she married Chuck Negron, the singer for Three Dog Night. They both developed major heroin addictions.
By 1977, the year Julia Brose and Chuck Negron had their son Charles, Negron devoted his life to being a junkie. She herself snorted heroin in the delivery room before Charle's birth, according to Mother Jones magazine, they both did it. To pay for his habits, Chuck eventually sold everything he owned, including all of his gold albums. "Bit by bit, everything eroded," says Julia. "We took loans against the house, and eventually our telephone and power lines were turned off."
He blew through millions of dollars chasing the highs and she may have been worse. "When Chuck is asked if he ever knew anyone worse than him, he usually says me," admits Julia, a recovering drug addict. "But we had a great marriage because every drug we got was split 50-50." They were married 12 years.
She overdosed twice in her life, waking up in a hospital bed feeling like she’d been run over by a fleet of trucks. She lived.
Tumblr media
Julia lost her sister Connie to an overdose in 1984, which prompted her to sober up and leave her husband in 1985, and she checked herself at Cedars hospital. Then she went to school and worked as a drug counselor for decades.
Julia is certified as an Addiction Specialist since 1990, supervising and training residential addiction treatment staff.
By the mid-2000s, she had become a prominent advocate of “harm reduction,” which emphasizes making illicit drug use safer so users may seek treatment.
Tumblr media
On 2013 her youngest son was in life support because of an overdose, but luckily he went in recovery. As for 2013, she was a co-founder of “Moms United to end the War on Drugs” and a Board Member of “A New PATH (Parents for Addiction Treatment and Healing”) and lived in Sarasota, FL.
On 2015 she moved to Venice, Los Angeles, where she is devoted to her advocacy work in what’s known as “harm reduction.’’
On July 2017, her son’s fiancé overdosed, leaving an 8-year-old without a mother.
In 2017 she made headlines when she took issue with U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio at a town hall meeting in Manatee County on the opioid epidemic. She is an advocate for making illegal drug use safe in hopes that users will seek treatment. She runs the “Suncoast Harm Reduction Project,” which is a small group of volunteers who pass out Naloxone to addicts to counterattack opioid overdoses. Manatee County has the highest overdose rate in Florida. In 2014, according to Mother Jones magazine, there were 644 community programs in the nation that distributed free Naloxone and Florida had only one person doing it: Brose.
Julia finds herself driving to Manatee County too much as part of her group and says it is “ground zero’’ for drug overdoses, even worse than Los Angeles, where she used to live.

Good morning! I hope you slept well and feel rested? Currently sitting at my desk, in my study, attired only in my blue towelling robe, enjoying my first cuppa of the day.

He travels back and forth to check in on the land and property and has workers and key keepers that watch over everything while he is away. Presently, the hacienda is rented for special events and bed and breakfasts. Months prior to the wedding, he made sure to block off this time and there are currently no guests staying at Rancho Esmeralda.
