what's your opinion on douma?
-🍁
Oh. Oh boy.
Well, if you’ve read my fics, I think you’ll see I am not fond of Douma (in the slightest). I usually make him a villain of sorts. You can think I’m boring, but there’s a reason why.
Simply put: to me, Douma is the scariest character in Demon Slayer — even more so than Muzan.
Muzan has weaknesses; Muzan, try as he might, is still a slave to his own human desires — the desire to be perfect and live forever. He’s selfish, but he’s also a coward. He still has fear.
But Douma? Kanao confirms for us that Douma feels nothing. He doesn’t care about any person/demon/or thing. He has no regard for anything and instead looks to play games with people and demons for his own temporary amusement. As soon as he’s done, he discards them.
He’s been like this since he was a human child — his parents died brutal deaths and all he could think about was how their blood was staining the walls/floors. He lures people into his cult not because he believes himself some divine being — he knows he isn’t — but he does it because it’s fun and he has nothing else to do. His life is meaningless, and so he has no regard for it, and certainly not for others.
I could go on truthfully, but I’m content to leave it at this: Douma is vile, wicked, and cruel. So, I treat him accordingly.

hi hi!! idk if you take requests for fics/hcs but if you are, may i pls request tickle hcs of the upper moon trio?🥰thank you and hope you have a good day/night!
omg of course! I just wanted to say again that I love your work!
tickle headcannons for the uppermoons! <3
Tumblr media
Kokushibou:
I think he would be the type to like softer tickles more, so light scribbling or tracing are the way to go!
More ticklish on his palms, back, knees, neck, sides and ribs, but I think anywhere will at least get a smile!
Doesn't mind tickling, but is big on consent if he is not fully comfortable with the person
Douma is one of the very few people that Kokushibou is comfortable with, but this definitely took some time (more like Douma harassing him until he agreed to spend more and more time with him)
Speaking of Douma, he was the one who initially discovered that his palms were ticklish!
Uppermoon 2 was attempting to 'read Kokushibou's palm' when he suddenly tensed up and was fighting to keep a smile down "I didn't know HANDS could be ticklish?!"
Doesn't participate in tickle fights very often, but will occasionally jump in (much to everyone's surprise due to his reserved nature)
Is a Ler more often (although it still is pretty rare)
When Kokushibou tickles people, it is usually to cheer them up or get them to calm down.
Is lighter with tickling in general, but if necessary he will be more rough
Tumblr media
Douma:
BIGGEST LER OF ALL TIME!!!
Absolutely uses anyone and everyone's ticklishness to his advantage, leaving them a crumpled mess on the floor
Loves both soft and rough tickles!
Favorite person to tickle is Akaza (don't ask me why, I don't know)
Will wreck his lee with his nails!
He will rake them down ticklish spots, or gently circle a place to make the lee all giggly
Also will pinch and squeeze at all of their ticklish spots to make them hysterical
He himself is pretty ticklish, and adores being tickled, although he tries to hide it (not very well, and everyone can call his bluff, but we won't mention that)
I think his most ticklish spots would be underarms, hips, neck, feet or stomach, and is very giggly anywhere you tickle him
Either will writhe and try to squirm away from his ler, or will just lie down and accept his fate, occasionally curling into a ball as a makeshift protective stance
Very big on teases!
Will tease his victim until they are pink-cheeked and giggling, but do the same to him?
Douma is gone. Non-existent. You've killed him.
He will whine and beg you to stop, but he doesn't mean it
Absolutely cannot take what he dishes out
Tumblr media
Akaza:
SO TICKLISH!
I mean, SO ticklish
Most ticklish spots are his stomach, sides, hips, thighs, neck.... okay he's just really ticklish and hates it. (or so he claims)
Anywhere you tickle he will be a laughing mess
Because of this, he is more commonly a Lee!
His stripes are SO TICKLISH OMG
He will shriek if any of his stripes are even brushed against
Douma takes complete advantage of this of course and spends lots of his time just wrecking him for some reason
Has pretty impressive endurance, but that doesn't mean he won't scream and thrash and threaten his ler until he can't muster up the energy anymore.
When Akaza is a ler, he is ruthless (at least when tickling a certain blonde-)
Will also give softer tickles, but genuinely saves those for lower moons (Rui, Enmu)
I realized I kind of put a lot, but hopefully that's not a bad thing (I love these three too much)
Anyways, I really hope you enjoyed! Have a wonderful day/night! 🥰

Your events are always the best, istg-
So hiii, howzit going? You probably know this anon for requesting about 90% of the Kokudou stuff you write XD (I'm calling it, Fyozai-anon's unofficial weird cousin, pls, I need to meet that anon-). For the event! I got something for ya!
Headcanon: Douma is a nervous giggler when it comes to tickles, no doubt, 100%. Kokushibo only has to spare a six-eyed 'I will end (wreck) you' glance at him and Douma's already in giggles. + KOKUDOU-
Stay safe, stay happy, and stay awesome~!
(Headcanons to Dabbles: OFFICIALLY CLOSED)
(We need to host an anon-family reunion akjrekajrjkeajrk) AHH! Kokudou!Anon! :D Thank you so much for the amazing prompts and headcanons you always send in- between you and Ghost; I'm falling head over heels for these two! This headcanon is perfect! (and thank you for the kind words you're too sweet!) I've gotcha covered!
“Ehehhehehahahaha! Do-Doohohohn’t loohoohok at me like thahahhat!”
“Like what?” Kokushibou asked, tilting his head curiously as he watched Douma burst into giggles, shrinking in on himself. “I’m only looking at you.”
“Nohohoho! I cahhaahn see it in yohohohohur eheheyes!” His expression was not one of general admiration. Douma knew all too well what that glance meant. It was the glance Kokushibou used whenever he was about to tickle him. “Stahhahap, I’m beihihihng so shehhherious right nohohohow!”
“I truly don’t know what you’re seeing, Douma.” The brunette offered confusion, but his lips were twitching, and he slowly turned himself to face the other. Douma all but whined in his giggles. “I’m simply sitting here- thinking about how much I enjoy your laugh..” Douma squeaked, half hidden in his hands as he laughed harder- tears filling his rainbow gaze.
“The sound is lovely- hearing the different notes you can reach when you’re really going. Your smile adds to it all; handsome and charming and ever so intoxicating..”
“Kohohoohkuhuuhuhu!”
“Of course- my favorite part of it all is when I tickle you. How you act like you’re fighting back but in reality you’re having fun. I can tell- you don’t truly ever push at my hands as they climb up your ribs one after another..”
“EHEHehheehe!” Douma squealed when his sides were grabbed, but no tickling came from it. Not yet anyway. “Kohohohohku!”
“You get so squeaky when I tickle you at your highest ribs, and when I touch your neck…” He trailed a hand up his arm, further worsening Douma’s giggles as it gently rested on the tip of his shoulder- not quite touching the sensitive skin. “You always…”
Flakes fell- snow drifting down around them as Douma went near silent in laughter, falling into Kokushibou’s chest as he cried over ghost tickles. “Ah. my favorite part of it all..”
“Yoohohohour’e tohohohohooho muhuuhch! Aheahahhaha, yohohou dihiihdn’t ehehehven tohoohcuh mehehehe!” Douma cried out, trying to glare and failing as he took in Kokushibou’s serene expression. The snowflakes danced and fluttered, landing on his nose and unjustly long lashes. “Juhuhust tickle me ahhhahready!”
“Ah? So direct.” Kokushibou smirked fully now, laughing as Douma giggled more. “Very well then.” He quickly reached out, grabbing his sides and making him shriek. “I suppose things have been too hot lately. Let’s cool it down with some snow, shall we?”

hiii i read your demon slayer fics and loved the tickle fic with akaza and enmu and have a few headcanons of the 12 kizuki to share! :)
- douma is the resident tickle demon and LOVES causing chaos
- akaza is the most ticklish kizuki followed by rui, enmu and gyutaro and the four are the most frequent victims of tickle attacks
- daki and kaigaku are ticklish but only in one or two places so tickling them isn’t as fun for the others. they’re more often the ones tickling others however
- nakime, gyokko and hantengu actively avoid tickle attacks but will defend themselves if they need to and are for the most part, successful in defending themselves but gyokko and hantengu both fell victim to douma
- kokushibo is ticklish but never takes part in the chaos his fellow demons create. he prefers to watch it all unfold but will step in if someone has had enough and the others won’t stop
- kaigaku, daki and gyutaro are douma’s tickle minions and constantly launch tickle attacks on the others but always fail to succeed
- the trio only succeeded in tickling rui and enmu after overhearing the two lower moons having a conversation about hopefully rising up the ranks quickly and roped them into being tickled by saying it was an “initiation ritual” they gave all lower moon demons to see if they have potential. it’s total bullshit but the two lower moons fell for it
- kokushibo stopped the fun however and put the trio in their places by tickling them to near death in front of rui and enmu
- douma is very ticklish and while he can hide it really well, if someone gets the right spot or there’s more than one demon tickling him, he’s done for
heyoo thank you so much, i happy you liked it!! ♡♡
oh my god these are GOLDEN 😭
douma is such a monster, he wouldn't leave the others alone with his tickle attacks and akaza and gyutaro hate it they don't
i just know that daki would not hesitate to stab gyutaro in the back too lmao she'd just sit by like "oh yeah go for his ribs- no not like that you idiot, let me show you!"
gyokko must be such an evil ler too tho and the hantengu clones are as well, douma sometimes beheads hantengu just to get the clones to help him wreck someone
also the mental image of kaigaku daki and gyutaro trying to ambush akaza and failing miserably only for douma to come in and showing them how it's done is hilarious shkflghx
(lee akaza my beloved poor guy can't catch a break from douma's bs 💀)
big brother kokushibo stopping the middle children from bullying the bebis >>>
thank you so much for sending these in and your kind words, i hope you have the most amazing day!! ❤️ (also stay tuned for more demon slayer fics to come ^^)

Wisp rambles about GyoTengu, the post.
I'm digging in my own grave... But whatever.
Swap AU is hinted at with a $ in front. But SO!
We have the very obvious difference in aesthetics, no matter where you look. Gyokko is primarily white, but there's obvious color everywhere you look. Meanwhile, Hantengu appears as a usually dark colored old man. His tones make it hard to discern color. The only thing in common in their looks is that they're... grotesque, in a sense. Gyokko is self explanatory, with what his face in all the wrong spots, and his damn arms as well. Hantengu is a bit more low-key on this, with his lack of eye definition, gnarly limbs and nails, and massive tumor jutting out of his forehead.
And their personalities are also distinct. Gyokko is extroverted, (and the only one to reciprocate friendly feelings with Douma, to boot!), arrogant, egotistical, and macabre. He's very in your face about things. Hantengu, on the other hand is very much a coward, and afraid of nearly everything. He's introverted by definition, clearly presents as pathetic, a nervous wreck, and would clearly rather remain low-key.
But there IS one thing that they DO have alike though: their "delusions".
Gyokko believes himself to be a great artiste and a thing of beauty, and liked.... Hantengu thinks that, no matter what he does, he's innocent of wrong-doing, regardless of how out-there it seems.
Between that... It would seem like they'd never get along.
And you may have a point: their only canon interaction is when Hantengu is criticizing Gyokko on his lack of time frame (he said it was 90 year's since a meeting was called, when it was only 103<).
HOWEVER.
It's a comfort HC of mine, so to speak, that they're quite good friends with each other. I believe that their uh... (gestures to everything) will work creepily well. And I can see the two having a twistedly caring bond with each other. $And even as the Pillars, they might actually have a better chance at this, since, mostly through process of elimination (I gave Gyokko Mitsuri's role, while Hantengu got Iguro's)$ Still, you can assume where this heads with my suggestion, and their given roles.
They are as the sun and moon, distinct, yet reliant on each other.
Hantengu is the hateful introvert, Gyokko is the unorthodox extrovert.
Believe it or not, Hantengu actually makes the first move no matter where you look.
Perhaps it was under the urgings of the clones, or an awkward conversation starter, but it's there. And it's an odd feeling. For the both of them.
Gyokko, who only extended this "love" to another person once as a human, and only focuses his "love" towards his art, was attached to this rat (affectionate)? Hantengu, who's every extent of his "love" ended with a widow's kiss, and holds his "love" in a separate entity (Urogi, and not really) entirely from himself, was attached to this beast (affectionate)?
Very confusing indeed.
$Kokushibo somehow figured out that they're in love with each other WAY before even Hantengu did. And when he (terrifyingly) confessed to him, he just went, "Ah. Is he aware of it as well?"$
$So he goes, "P-Probably n-Wait what?!"$ (You can tell he's pining a bit...)
No matter what, Kokushibo figures it out, Douma grills him for it, Sekido, Aizetsu, Urogi, Karaku and Zohakuten playing reluctant match maker, and Gyokko himself finds it out WAY. TOO. DAMN. LATE.
Yes. Poor Gyokko indeed. In either case, I believe that he had made him a vase (corpse tree in the vase up to you in canon specifics) as a gift, only, you know, he forgot to give it to him. It was based off a scene of a rare calm Hantengu. You guessed it, Kokushibo figured its existence before its intended target.
This can serve as a nice scene of ship tease in either canon, before their uh... deaths.
See, if Iguro and Mitsuri get their scenes, of course these bastards do so also! $I'm actually working a post on how Hantengu views the other Pillars, and another HC comes into play with their relationship that can't be recreated in canon.$
The HC in question? Hmm...
$Inspired by Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth for this... Hantengu is just his last name. His given name is "Shiko". Plainly translated as "Fourth (or something death related) Child", it's very demeaning for someone like him. As he hates his name, he just says his name is "Hantengu" and nothing more. The only one to know this name is, you guessed it, Gyokko (named Managi Mizamura)! He just shrugged it off when he got told of it... and then he clarified why. Yeah. He promised to never call him by that again. But for a hint of tragedy, I like to believe that he asked him to call him that (for some damn reason) when they died together.$
Hehehe... Dear Rei provided me with some inspo... So I finished this specific HC in her honor.

Blood demon art
Tumblr media
( where I found this picture- )
I haven't thought much about it but this seems cool to me.
It's like you can control people's emotions. You can mess with their emotions.
Like, let's say you take control of a demon or human's emotion. You can go through their memories and trigger a bunch of emotions.
You can make them feel the need to get revenge, make them feel happy, or make them want to die!
And because of how you do this, you can also make them devoted to you, or make them worship you. Anything.
But to do this you will need to make eye contact with them. And it will probably be difficult to kill you without even looking at you-
And one can build walls to protect their mindset. Just like how Muzan has done.
If someone has got a will to live or anything to look forward to, it's gonna be difficult for you to break through them.
Can you do this on demons? Yes. You have tried doing so on Muzan but that little shit knows what you are gonna do. 😡
And you can see Douma begging you to use your blood demon art on him because he wants to feel emotions.
He has bribed you with so much stuff- Anything.
And he was successful in bribing you when you were in your kid form-
But guess what! In your kid form, you can't use your blood demon art because you can't even comprehend the fact magic exists and that you have to learn to do new things and that one day you will die-
And he was unsuccessful in making you use your blood demon art.
Tho, one time it worked.
It had gone like this.
Douma screaming your name and bribing you with 5 minutes of freedom. Did you accept? Nah.
Then 10 minutes. 15. 30. 45. 1 HOUR.
And then he said 2 hours. 2 hours is more than enough for you to wreck havoc and conquer the world-
And well, you were almost out of the cursed place when a biwa string ringed out and bam, you were in the infinity castle with Muzan there standing with a disappointed look.
He sighed and then as soon as Douma appeared he bashed his skull off-
While Douma was just giggling like the little shit he is.

Is their any demon slayer character that you think should of had more screen time in the manga?
I could be diplomatic and say we could have benefitted from a smidge more bonding time with all of the non-Tanjiro cast, but instead I shall go on a selfish rant: we should have gotten more of that magatama-wearing peach-flinger, supposedly rightful heir to the Breath of Thunder himself, freaking Kaigaku.
It's probably no surprise that I say this as a Zenitsu Stan. The two deep-dives we got into Inosuke and Zenitsu's pasts were two-cour, and, these would have worked better with more of a bridge between the first and second cours (Natagumo arc and Infinity Fortress arc). Given Inosuke's personality it works a bit better that he was totally unbothered by an unusual memory or two and then floored by how suddenly important his mother became to him when facing her killer, but some odd recollections of Douma would have really sold that "whoa!! Baby Inosuke resided with an Upper Moon!!" shocker. Still, Inosuke was a baby, it only gets so personal (I would totally accept Douma & Baby Inosuke interactions, though, for absolutely sure, but Douma got a lot of satisfying development in his interactions with Shinobu, Kanao, and the other Upper Moons too). Zenitsu, unlike Inosuke, is someone who ruminates and takes everything personally. Jiichan and Kaigaku both had such an impact on him that it's odd for him to go most of the span of the series only thinking back to them once. It's one thing if Zenitsu chose never to mention Kaigaku to his friends, in fact, such a decision would say a lot about their relationship, but knowing Zenitsu he probably ranted about his mean martial brother at the slightest mention of something that might remind him of Kaigaku. But Zenitsu's feelings toward him were highly complex, and it would have been great to get those thoughts before the betrayal. Besides just being like, "oh no, not Jiichan!" we could have felt that twist of the knife in our backs too; Kaigaku's a character we don't get to appreciate until he's dying and already performed all his bad deeds (but I suppose that's the case for many of the other demons, a la Kimetsu logic).
While seeing more of Kaigaku would had been interesting as a Zenitsu fan, it would had also been an opportunity to bring out more in Himejima's character as well. Kaigaku was very keen on upward mobility in the Corp, he had to have had some familiarity with the current strongest people, and he had to have known who the Rock Pillar was and been like, "oh shit." Getting Kaigaku's perspective on Himejima would have given us a very different "oh dang, we should have been watching out for this crying guy" effect than Inosuke just declaring "dude be strong." (But alas, writing a serialized manga is hard and you fit things in where you can. Hence, Taisho Secrets.)
Mostly, it would had been great to get more Kaigaku for Kaigaku's sake. Channeling his anxieties in the form of emotional self-protection and aggression makes him a striking foil to Zenitsu in more than just their sorely lacking Thunder Breath capabilities. There was an arc there we didn't get to see unfold. He had to have some feelings left over from selfishly allowing that demon massacre to occur at the temple filled with orphans, whom he must have felt at some level he was better than. Having someone he respected see potential in him and treat him as someone special might have given him hope to make a better person out of himself, but if the same care could be given to someone like Zenitsu, then it probably made him feel pretty betrayed too. That drive to make himself be someone special is like a more dangerous look at Shinjuro's drives which drove him to depression, and it would had been so, so, so rich to see Kokushibo see some of himself in Kaigaku too, instead of only being like, "hmm, you're strong, guess I'll spare you."
But to have been in a fight against Upper Moon 1 and held out on his own that long in the first place? Especially someone who was still in training very recently? KAIGAKU WAS A FREAKING BOMBSHELL OF A POWERFUL DEMON SLAYER. He was already on Twelve Moon level when he turned; it must had driven Kaigaku mad to see that Zenitsu was the one running into all the strong demons and Thunderclap-and-Flashing his way up the ranks. Sure, he accepted Kokushibo's proposition because he was terrified. And I love that even someone as assured of his own specialness can succumb to mortal terror (again, interesting Zenitsu foil). But Kaigaku accepted this new role as readily as he accepted demon slaying as his calling; he set right about eating people, lots of people. Which people? We'll never know, but I'd like to think he ate those boys who Zenitsu punched for talking bad about him.
Kaigaku's belief in himself means that whenever he's cornered, he'll discard any previous identity and take on wholeheartedly whatever his new one is. Interesting choice to give him a magatama motif, those are thought to bring out one's innate spiritual power. He's always relied most on himself. Once Kuwajima let him down, he didn't need Kuwajima anymore. Even once he become filled with Muzan's blood (and approval), he wasn't in it for Muzan, he was in it to prove himself superior and talented.
But Kaigaku so, so desperately looks outside of himself for approval anyway. HE'S SUCH A TRAGEDY. And if we had gotten more snippets of him here and there throughout the manga, even just one scene of Zenitsu running into him and getting told off for punching those guys, we would have had the anticipation of him being an inevitable train wreck instead of just "mean guy who was mean to Zenitsu and will probably be mean again in future chapters because he is mean."
No, Kaigaku was mean because he had so many of his own insecurities to wrestle with and he was so bad at that and I wish, I wish, I wish we could have gotten more of Kokushibo being like, "I have the cure for insecurities, just don't be a weak human anymore" (especially because Kokushibo appreciated he could be honest in Muzan's service instead of having to privately wrestle with his jealousy and angst of impending demise, so it would had been great to give Kaigaku a similar outlet). And if Muzan was willing to promote him to Upper Moon 6 so quick off the bat, I wish we could have seen some interaction between them, like Muzan showing up to the site of Kaigaku's first blood bath and praising Kaigaku for his eagerness to get stronger and his potential as a powerful demon. How GOOD that would had sounded to Kaigaku's ears. And dang, oh man, if Himejima could had known, if he could had known ANYTHING about Kaigaku joining the Corp and then showing his true colors, being an untrustworthy little shit because that's all humans usually are, w o w that would had painted more of Himejima's dark side besides just saying a 4-year-old girl was a selfish human (I would totally accept more Himejima cynicism, especially because it's so disconcerting coming from one of the most level-headed characters in this whole manga).
Phew. Anyway. I guess I could go on a rant about a lot of good scenes we could have gotten from many of the characters, but I still stick with Kaigaku as my answer to his because he's the acting agent in a betrayal, and betrayals work best if first see what it is that they're destroying. AAAAUUGHHH I LOVE A GOOD BETRAYAL and this one feels like it was written backwards, I wish it could had been seasoned throughout the text more instead of taking the lid off the shaker and dumping a pile of salt into a few short chapters. KAIGAKU, YOU ARE ONE BIG PILE OF SALT. But also you deserved to have your pain shared, you selfish twit, come back here in some earlier chapters and let us see you try to have a stiff upper lip when people point out your insecurities, you were trying so hard, you big baby, come back here and let us a love you a bit before you zap us with your betrayal.

Minecraft hunger games with the upper moons maybe Muzan for extra fun where Nakime and the reader are on a team and they win? Obviously they punish everyone else in a very ✨spicy✨ way for being bad as they should.
I hope you enjoy your case of blueballs.
‘finish him’ / Muzan & Upper Moon Demons x Reader
warnings: more suggestive than spicy >.>
words: 1,291
-
Breathe in, breathe out. The enemy could be lurking anywhere. You’re grateful that Nakime has your back and vice versa; in a free-for-all match, partnerships shouldn’t be taken lightly, nor for granted. If either of you really wanted to, you could easily turn and end the other with a killing blow. If you two manage to survive against everyone else, things might have to turn out that way; however, Nakime has already agreed to share a double victory with you when the time calls for it.
You constantly remind yourself that you got this, that you will win. If not, well… Say goodbye to your dignity and bragging rights. Since you’re playing against someone like Douma, you’d rather not lose. Actually, you’d enjoy beating his ass in and out of game.
Glancing around, you take in the sight of everyone completely focused on the screens of their computers. You can only guess what they’re really doing, if the constant mashing of keys and clicks of the mouse give anything away. Your gaze lingers on Muzan for a split second longer; the crease between his brows is evident, a true disappointment against the otherwise perfection of his face. Frankly, you’re surprised that he and Kokushibou didn’t team up for the match. The two of them are practically glued to the hip for anything else, so why not this as well?
“Staring at people is what’s gonna get you killed,” Muzan mutters, his eyes remaining on his screen.
Embarrassment creeps over your nerves. Of course he would notice you staring. He’s always had that weird sixth (and maybe seventh) thing going on for him. With a scoff, you turn your attention back to your own computer and try to shake his comment off.
A couple of minutes later, there’s a sudden bang of fists colliding against a tabletop. “Son of a bitch,” Kaigaku hisses, “I just got ended by a fucking creeper. What kind of bullshit is this?”
“It’s called that you suck at this game, man,” Gyuutaro drawls. “Seriously. If you wanted to be killed by somebody, you should’ve found me instead.”
“Piss off,” Kaigaku snaps. “I’m just annoyed, okay? I didn’t ask for death by explosion.”
During their so-called “conversation,” Nakime subtly bumps your shoulder with hers. Looking at her screen, you see that she’s sneaking up behind Gyuutaro, a sword at the ready. Perfect.
“I’m just saying,” Gyuutaro continues, keeping his nonchalant behavior. He shrugs. “It’s a waste.”
And swipe.
“Wait – what the fu-“
There’s the distinct oof noise coming from Gyuutaro’s and Nakime’s screens as she beats his character to death. Down he goes, all the possessions he was holding falling to the ground.
“Man, that was a low blow.”
“Ha!” Kaigaku cackles. “Suck on that!”
“One must keep an eye on all fronts,” Nakime merely says, acting like the true badass that she is. “It’s your fault for leaving your flank open.”
To the side, Douma bursts into a fit of giggles. “She got you with that one, Gyuutaro! Looks like the both of you are out!”
“And you’re one to talk,” Akaza grunts. “You’re about to join them.”
“Wha-“ Douma immediately cuts himself off with a surprised yelp as Akaza’s character sweeps seemingly out of nowhere and kills him. “Hey! That’s no fair! You didn’t give me any warning!”
“Why would I?” Akaza deadpans.
Alright, so that’s three down – four left to go. Knowing Daki, she’d be easy to take care of. It’s Muzan, Kokushibou, and Akaza that will prove to be the issue. If you and Nakime continue to stick together and play your cards right, the two of you will emerge victorious.
As the minutes drag on, tensions rise. Muzan kills off Daki with no trouble at all. Kokushibou eventually catches Akaza and ends the poor guy’s life – much to Akaza’s chagrin – and it’s quickly turned into a standoff. You and Nakime stare Muzan and Kokushibou down, just waiting for someone to make a move. When it happens (you’re not sure who does it first), all hell breaks loose; a war cry breaks free from your throat as you charge towards Kokushibou.
In a clash of blades and oofs, you’re seeing blood. Well, not literally, but it’s nice to pretend that you’re literally hacking Kokushibou apart. Only one victor shall emerge, and it better be you or Nakime. Everyone else is cheering you on, calling out for who they want to see win. Daki and Akaza cheer you and Nakime on, saying that girls rule! Maybe it’s what pushes you to do even better, to move even faster. Before you know it, Kokushibou is dead.
“Dammit,” Kokushibou grunts.
“Finally!” Akaza exclaims.
Muzan scoffs. “I expected better from you, Kokushibou. What a shame.”
“I wouldn’t get so far ahead of yourself,” you taunt. “It’s two against one, you know.”
“I also refuse to go down without a fight,” Muzan challenges. “I’d like to see you two girls try.”
Slice.
“Oh my god – did you just die?!” Douma squeaks, his face turning red as laughter begins to bubble from his throat.
“Dude, that was lame,” Gyuutaro chimes in. “All that talk, and for nothing…”
“Monologuing only brings destruction,” Nakime says coolly. She puts away her sword. She’s just so badass, wrecking people’s shit and then busting out one-liners. And this means…
“We won!” you cry out. “We did it, Nakime! We really won!”
“Yeah, yeah, yeah, so what?” Kaigaku says, rolling his eyes. “Who gives a shit?”
Daki shoots him an incredulous look. “Are you like, stupid or something? We agreed to have punishments dealt out to the losers, duh.”
“Speaking of which,” Muzan says with a huff, “what is it going to be? It better be worth it.”
You scoff at his arrogant comment. “If you’re gonna use your mouth to say something like that, you should use it for something better instead.” At that, Muzan’s eyebrows creep up his forehead. It takes you a moment to realize what you just said; it’s too late, though, if the look on Muzan’s face says anything.
“I like the sound of that,” Douma purrs. You’re not even surprised his mind immediately went to that side.
Akaza smacks him up alongside the head. “Can you stop acting horny for five minutes? Seriously.”
“No, no, Douma is onto something,” Kokushibou mutters. Your jaw drops as you look to him. Not him too! “(y/n) said so, so it must be the punishment.”
The corners of Muzan’s lips curl into a devilish smirk. “Thank you, Kokushibou. It’s only fair that we follow through, right?”
To your side, Nakime sighs. “Way to go,” she mumbles. You swallow nervously.
“Come on, guys, let’s not be hasty…” you start, voice low. You really don’t like how Muzan, Kokushibou, and Douma are slowly creeping closer to you.
“We’re just doing what you said,” Douma giggles. You yelp as he promptly kneels between your legs.
“I’m out,” Nakime says. Standing up, she moves away from the couch, leaving you entirely by your lonesome. She was your partner, for fuck’s sake! Why is she turning on you now?
Muzan and Kokushibou take their chance and sit on either side of you. You expected this sly behavior from Muzan, but Kokushibou? Turns out these two are working together again. Figures.
“No need to look so bashful,” Muzan purrs. Grazing his knuckles over your cheek, he leans in close, his warm breath fanning over your ear. “You wanted this, didn’t you?”
You jolt when you feel Kokushibou’s mouth on your neck. “I never said-“
“Don’t kid yourself,” Douma chirps. The look in his eyes doesn’t match his cheerful tone. “It’s our punishment, isn’t it? Liven up, pet.” With another giggle, he nuzzles into your inner thigh.
Oh, fuck. You’re screwed.

HIIII I've been following you since I fell in love with your Compass fanfic on AO3, I love everything about your fanfiction, the way you write, how you do characters and relationships and the plot? Urgh I'm a sucker!
Do you accept Requests? And if yes, do you have a list of kny characters you write to?
Ahhh thank you, lovely!! That means so much, I’m so glad you like it! Compass is lowkey a favorite of mine too 👀👀👀
As for your question —- uhhhh sort of/kind of/it depends?? Some of my fics are based on requests — compass included. But others are completely original. I have *tons* of requests sitting in my inbox rn, but I struggle with doing them quickly. Mainly because if I don’t have inspiration right then and there to jump off that request, then I can’t really focus on it, if that makes sense??
I try and do them here and there! That’s the best answer I can give lmao.
As for the characters — I tend to focus on the hashira/adult characters in KNY. I’ve written exactly one (1) little request for Tanjiro that was completely SFW. I have not and likely will not write any of the minor characters aged up for NSFW purposes — and that is purely personal preference for me. Fully support other authors who age up/readers who enjoy it! I personally have read aged up fics and enjoyed them. I’m just not personally comfortable writing it.
I think my only other rule of thumb is fuck Douma. He’s getting wrecked in whatever fic he appears him because I hate his ass (and love writing him lmao).
Thank you so much for your ask!!

Gift(less)
There are three things Senjurou considers to be important, defining traits about himself.
Firstly, he is pretty sure his big brother is the nicest person in the country, if not the world.
-
Kyoujurou wanted to study history in university.
He’d always talked about it, about his dream of learning more, of doing research and maybe making new discoveries himself, and of eventually teaching to people as passionate as him. He would read about the latest findings on Joumon pottery the same way people his age would read their favorite manga, and would try his best to explain it all to Senjurou, who could in truth barely follow at all.
It was bad luck, then, that Senjurou didn’t hide his bruises well enough on that fateful day. That Kyoujurou decided to take him away from Father, decided to move cities and schools, took on a job and a loan to provide for them both. Father had been a wreck, but the family money had been enough to sustain both a good life and his bad habits.
Father had cut off Kyoujurou, or maybe Kyoujurou just didn’t want to rely on someone like him anymore.
The moment he passed his final high school exams, Kyoujurou started taking special classes to teach high school students himself, all the while still working as much as he could to feed them and keep their shitty apartment with running water and electricity, and to pay off his newest loan (and how many had that been, how many more had he kept hidden from Senjurou in an attempt to protect him).
Kyoujurou didn’t have time to read anymore. He worked and worked and started teaching, and to this day he still works and works and never stops planning his new classes or grading exams.
Sometimes he’ll stare wistfully at an invitation to a conference sent by some old classmate. Then he’ll get back to work.
For the two of us, he’ll say with that heartbreakingly kind smile of his.
Because of Senjurou, they both know.
-
Secondly, Senjurou cannot deal with alcohol.
-
Father didn’t always drink, Senjurou knows.
Still, as far as he can remember, the smell of alcohol was always present, following Father from room to room, clinging to the walls and the furniture, so much that Senjurou’s head felt light at the end of the day if he didn’t leave the house for a few hours in the meantime.
When Senjurou dreams of Father, he dreams of this smell.
During his last year of middle school, he’d been invited to a friend’s house to play some video games that Senjurou had only ever heard of. One of the others, Senjurou can’t remember who it was, had taken a few small bottles from his bag, stolen from his parents’ reserve.
The group had laughed, stumbled around with the opener, joked about what the taste could be like, if adults liked the stuff so much.
Senjurou could only watch, petrified.
When the capsule was finally breached, the others cheered, and Senjurou felt bile rising up his throat at the bitter scent of beer.
He excused himself, promised he wouldn’t tell, he swore he wasn’t a killjoy but he had to go, he had to, he –
He fell into Kyoujurou’s arms the second he came home and cried, without really understanding why.
-
Finally, Senjurou can see ghosts as clearly as he sees living people.
-
One of his earliest memories is of talking to an old man from the neighborhood while waiting outside for Kyoujurou to come back from school. Senjurou was sitting near the door, playing with marbles, asking the neighbor about his wife and the garden he tended to, and if he would share plums with them again this year.
Father had come out before Kyoujurou arrived.
Senjurou was used to being barely noticed, so he had just wished Father a good trip to the convenience store, before resuming his conversation.
And then Father had grabbed his arm, raised him to his feet, angrily asking who he was talking to, and when Senjurou had answered with the neighbor’s name, Father had dragged him back inside, cursing him.
The neighbor was dead. Kyoujurou had taken Senjurou to the wake, to present their condolences. How dare – how could –
Their family was cursed. That was the only explanation, for Mother’s death, for Kyoujurou’s uselessness, for Senjurou’s…
Senjurou was a cursed child, who had brought death into their house.
When Kyoujurou finally came home, Senjurou was still crying, but he had no words to explain the cause of it.
No matter how much he tried afterwards, though, he couldn’t help but make mistakes again. Asking for directions to someone in the street, and only realizing the truth when faced with the curious looks of passerbys. Not looking as the right person at a funeral.
Kyoujurou simply smiled whenever it happened, and asked who he saw, but Father only had disgust.
Senjurou tried to be good, to look normal, even stared at the sun in hopes of losing those cursed eyes, but it was no use.
If he couldn’t change it, he had to compensate for it, then.
Senjurou walks with his head low nowadays, never looking anyone in the eyes. He rarely initiates a conversation, not with someone he isn’t completely sure is alive, especially in public. Usually, he waits for Kyoujurou or for a friend to acknowledge a new person before feeling like he is allowed to do the same.
It’s rude, he knows, but the alternative is so much more terrifying.
It’s also not foolproof.
There’s a juggler in the street, that he’s seen around a few times before. Senjurou stops to watch him, and takes the opportunity to think over his options for part-time jobs.
He wants to earn money, to help Kyoujurou, and make himself into a person who can be relied on, instead of the burden he currently is.
There isn’t a lot of variety in the job offers for high-schoolers, that’s the problem.
Working in the kitchen of some fast-food chain would be manageable, he thinks. He can cook, Kyoujurou even says his cooking is good, too, and it would only require following orders from the front. But he doesn’t know if kitchen workers are asked to talk to clients themselves from time to time, and that scares him.
If a ghost comes to ask for a hamburger, what is he supposed to do ?
An office job where he only has to interact with paperwork would be the best and surest choice, but there’s just no way he can find this while in high school.
Senjurou sighs.
The juggler is bowing after a pretty impressive trick, and Senjurou reaches to his wallet for some spare change. He doesn’t have a lot, just a few 100 yen coins, but it’s better than nothing.
“He isn’t here anymore, you know ?”
Senjurou whips around, meets the eyes of a tall man in a red suit, who stands next to him with a gentle smile on his face. No one else in the street has stopped to watch the juggler today, Senjurou realizes. Some passerbys look at him and the tall man, but never at the balls flying once more through the air.
Cold sweat slides down Senjurou’s neck. The wallet in his hand is burning through his skin.
He messed up. He messed up again, and what if the man knows Kyoujurou, what if Senjurou’s curse will reflect badly on his brother, what if –
The man’s voice is light as he simply exclaims : “So he keeps on juggling even in death, huh ? How admirable !”
Senjurou looks up.
“Ah, I didn’t introduce myself, did I ? How rude of me ! My name is Douma. Quite the pleasure to meet you… ?”
The man – Douma – produces a business card, that Senjurou is still a little too shocked to accept immediately. Too slow to present his hands, too slow to introduce himself in turn. It’s awfully rude, but Douma doesn’t seem to mind.
He smiles when Senjurou gives his name, smiles more when he asks why Douma didn’t seem surprised by Senjurou looking at nothing, or preparing to give money to a nonexistent person.
He has a friend, he says, with the same gift as Senjurou.
It’s the first time anyone has called Senjurou’s sight a gift. Father called it a curse, and Kyoujurou doesn’t call it anything, just asks what Senjurou sees when he doesn’t act normal enough.
In Douma’s mouth, the word “gift” sounds like the most wonderful thing in the world.
Senjurou sobs, then starts crying openly while Douma stands beside him and pats his back comfortingly. He wants to believe in Douma’s words, maybe more than he’s ever wanted anything in his life.
Douma apologizes, feels guilty for making him cry, offers to buy him coffee, or whatever drink he wants, to make up for it. He sounds like Kyoujurou, warm and open and kind.
Senjurou accepts.

Hi, Squiggles! How are you doing? Remember when you wrote that hc to drabble about Douma releasing snowflakes and losing control of his Blood Demon Art when getting wrecked? Can I please request that with the pairing Kokushibo and Douma (I blame HelloItsGhost LMAO-) with the sentence starter, 'Akaza informed me of an... interesting mannerism you possess.' Because Koku is devious, we just haven't seen it LOL-
Heyo anon! I'm doing great! :3 AHH I LOVE THAT JERJKEREJRJE (Oh friend I love those two so much akjrkearjejrj I also blame Ghost because they're amazing and wonderful and deserve the world) I've gotcha covered! :D
Kokushibou might have been the highest ranking Moon, but that didn’t mean he was above curiosity.
When Akaza came into the room that day with the happiest grin he’d ever seen, he’d assumed the striped demon had finally killed Douma. He had a whole lecture prepared until Akaza blurted out what truly happened.
Now he was intrigued.
“Akaza, he informed me of an…interesting mannerism you possess.” He spoke to the pinned body beneath him, Douma’s vibrant eyes wide. “I was wondering if I could have a demonstration.”
“Oh ho ho, what is this? The great Kokushibou wants to see what I can do?” Douma was grinning now, eyes twinkling as he got comfortable. “Well, I hate to disappoint, but if you’re referring to what I think you are- you’re gonna have to work for it.”
“That won’t be a problem.” Within seconds, Kokushibou attacked, fingers dancing across Douma’s skin and sending the blonde into fits of giggles. “Now, where did he go to make it snow…?”
“Whahahaht? Thahhahat’s whahahhat yoohohohou’re lohoohoohohooking fohohohohor?” Douma giggled out, weakly pawing at the older demon’s hands as he kicked. “Wehhehhehell tohohohohohohoo bahhahahd! Yohohohoou’re nohohohot goohohohonna seehehe i-EEHEHEHEHE!”
“This spot seems promising…” Kokushibou mused, fingers working the notch of Douma’s hipbone. He watched the other flail and squeal, arching at the ticklish feeling as a big happy smile spread across his lips. And yet- there was no snow. Was Akaza telling lies the last time they spoke?
Just as he was about to give up, he saw it. Fluttering in his vision, crystal-like snowflakes rained around them. It didn’t take long for the entire space around them to be buried beneath their delicacy.
“Oh….” Kokushibou sat back, too stunned to keep tickling. It was as Akaza described. Douma giggled beneath him, sitting up slowly.
“Pretty, huh?” Douma asked, all but glowing with pride.
Kokushibou took it all in- from the falling flakes to Douma's shy smile. Then he reached out, taking the blonde's face in his hands, leaning forward until they were forehead to forehead.
“It's truly beautiful.”
Send me a pairing a sentence starter and a pairing and I'll write a 300 word dabble for it!

Hello! Not sure if you are accepting requests for female chars but just in case. Can I request for Shinobu x reader content? Thank you! I'll also send a mitsuri one if okay with you 👉👈
Hi! Thank you for the long wait!!
Shinobu Kochou x Reader
Shinobu and you have been close for a long time ago, even before she joined Demon Slayer.
You knew well on her past, on how she lose her family, how both Kanae and her were now in Butterfly Estate.
You usually play with her there, Kanae didn't mind your presence. Sometimes, you even learned one or two things about poison and meds.
When you decided to follow her career to be a Demon Slayer, she's angry to the point she ignored you and didn't want to talk you
But you still didn't gave up on your choice.
After you passed Final Exam Test, you went to Butterfly Estate with havoc-wrecked condition.
"Excuse me, Kanae-nee chan! Can I get- Shinobu-chan?!"
Shinobu ran onto you and hugged you with all of her might.
"I thought you died!!"
"Haha, I'm not. I passed the test, Shinobu-chan! We're equal now!" You hugged her back.
"Now, now, Shinobu. Let her go, she's injured. I'll take care of her." Kanae popped out from engawa. "Ever since she knew you're inside that forest, she can't sleep, you know. She planning to infiltrate there and save you."
You chuckled while stroked her hair.
Even after Kanae passed away, you still with her, learning about poisons and meds. But you didn't become Butterfly Estate member, you simply don't want to. You thought you were mastering more in poisonous traps more than meds.
You noticed her change on her attitude after Kanae died. She's always smiling and her whining almost gone. But eventually, she became herself when she's with you alone.
You also know how to calm her down, and how to detect the 'bad sign' on her face.
When outside she went like, "Okay."
After both of you alone, "Listen, (y/n)!!! Tomioka-san is at it again!! I can't-"
She often scolded you when you heavily injured after missions, even though you still smile brightly in front of her
The first person whom she told about her plan is you.
One day, after praying for Kanae in her room, she called you and said she wanted to talk about something
"You're... Planning to inject Wisteria Poison inside your body?"
"Yes. That's why I'm asking for one rare pollen. The place you're heading on has the rare plant I want you to get it for me."
"...Is there any way to defeat him without poison? I'm sure-"
"No, there's not. Kanae-nee san also knew this."
"...but I'm sure there's-"
"NO THERE'S NOT!"
She panted, letting her anger out towards you. You become quiet for a second.
But then smiled warmly.
The smile that made Shinobu always melted.
"Shinobu-chan." You held her hands. "We are all angry inside our heart. I'm still angry about how I couldn't save people from demon attacks. I'm still angry to myself because I'm not stronger enough to defeat Douma, but..." Your soft expression made Shinobu warm. "Don't let your wrath controlled you. You could always reconsider your choice. Please love yourself too. Live your fullest life."
You moved forward and hugged her. "But if you still insisted, it's up to you now. I probably worked on the traps to defeat him. I will become stronger, we'll become stronger together. Just... Don't let the anger dominating you."
After that, the room was filled with muffled crying sound. It was from Shinobu and you tried to soothe her desperate self.
Even though you disagreed to her plan, you still helped her took the ingredients
But unfortunately, you got killed by lower rank demon in the mission.
Your injured crow delivered a red stained note along with small sac contained pollen to Shinobu
It dropped at her table.
She opened the note.
'I'm sorry, Shinobu-chan.'
She forgot about it all, she forgot about the things you said to her, about controlled her anger.
"It's okay, (y/n). This world didn't deserve you after all."
Her wrath didn't match to your kindness

tysm for tha ask molli!! ill talk abt kny here bc its takin over my life rn qwq
spoilers ahead 4 tha whole series!!
📃 what is the plot of your hyperfixation? and is it a movie, game, show, etc?
kny is a manga w an anime adaptation thats had 1 season so far n a movies bein made of my fav arc!! (also this plot desc may not b perfect bc i havent read it in like 4 months)
its abt a boy called tanjirou whos whole family got killed by a demon, n his sister nezuko got turned into a demon (which fun fact: in kimetsu theyre man-eatin creatures w different powers called blood demon arts!!)
hes sent by giyuu (a demon slayer!) 2 join tha demon slayer corps so hell become stronger n mayb get a little revenge. as a treat (and also mayb find a way 2 turn nezuko human?)
as he trains he learns how 2 do water breathing (a sword technique taught by him n giyuus mentor, urokodaki) n his final challenge is 2 cut a massive boulder in half w his sword
its real hard 4 him (as u can imagine) so 2 kids in fox masks named sabito n makomo come n help him, but after tanjirou cuts tha rock n tells urokodaki abt him its revealed theyre dead???
@ final selection (basically a demon slayer entrance exam where u win by surviving on a demon-infested mountain 4 seven days) he learns from a real fucked up demon that hes exclusively been targetin urokodakis students n that not even sabito could slice its neck open?? (thats how him n makomo died)
after tanjirou kills tha demon n basically puts all tha water breath students’ souls @ peace he passes tha exam!! its been 7 days n now he gets his nichirin blade (the only kinda sword that can kill a demon, tha only 2 ways they can die is thru a slice 2 tha neck from a nichirin blade n sunlight)
turns out nezuko was turned by the strongest demon of all, michael jackson muzan kibutsuji, n so he sets out 2 hunt him down n try 2 kill him
but he aint so strong @ first so he needs 2 try 2 take down tha twelve kizuki first (the 12 strongest demons besides muzan)
another reason he needs 2 kill tha kizuki is 2 gather their blood for a demon named tamayo n her assistant yushirou!! tamayo can make a cure if tanjirou can gather blood samples 4 her (the stronger tha demon tha more of muzans blood they have so hes gonna have 2 aim high)
he meets a bunch more slayers along tha way, includin zenitsu (a scaredy cat thunder breath user who basically simps 4 nezuko n becomes a badass when hes asleep) n inosuke (a rowdy beast breath user who wears a boar mask n lived in tha mountains)
after lower moon 5 gets killed by giyuu, nezuko unlocks her blood demon art (exploding blood!) n tanjirou remembers how 2 use tha hinokami kagura, him n nezuko get captured by a slayer called shinobu qwq
turns out she n giyuu are 2 of the nine hashira, the strongest of all tha demon slayers!! but theyre all havin a debate over whether they should kill tanjirou n nezuko 4 goin against corps rules n travelin w a demon
eventually oyakata-sama (tha leader of tha slayer corps) comes in n tells em its ok, urokodaki sent a letter explainin that nezukos never hurt anyone n if she does, tanjirou giyuu n urokodaki all have 2 die basically
oyakata-sama also tells em that tanjirous met kibutsuji, at which everyone goes feral at (and understandably, none of em had ever even seen him before hes that elusive)
so they get 2 live bc theyre like. tha best hope the slayers have @ findin kibutsuji
the rest of the hashira are kyoujurou (flame), muichirou (mist), mitsuri (love), obanai (serpent), gyoumei (stone), tengen (sound) n sanemi (wind)
theres also kanao (shinobus pupil, flower breathing) n genya (sanemis brother, eats demons 2 gain power n basically become a demon temporarily, also He Has A Gun)
ive gone on a lot here so ill try 2 keep it brief now but i HAVE 2 explain infinity train or ill die (slight suicide tw but no one actually does that outside of dreams)
BASICALLY the lower 6 moons have a meetin @ kibutsujis infinity castle, muzan decides 2 dismantle tha lower moons bc they keep fuckign dying
all of em get their shit wrecked except enmu, who avoided death by usin muzans “dont tell me what 2 do” rule against him n beggin 4 death basically
so he gets a metric fuckton o blood n goes off 2 kill tanjirou
turns out he keeps killin people on his train n kyos gone 2 investigate!! the main gang (the kamaboko gang as the fandom calls it) are there too bc tanjirou needs 2 investigate what hinokami kagura really is (turns out its sun breathing, the og form and ones that only folks w the same mark on his forehead can use) n if anyone knows abt the alleged “fire breathing” as they know it rn its the fire hashira!!
so they get on tha train (inosukes lovin tha experience bc hes Literally Never Seen A Train Before) n kyo basically adopts the whole group
they take some tickets n promptly fall asleep HERES WHERE ENMUS DEMON ART COMES INTO PLAY!!! DREAM MANIPULATION BABEYYY
BASICALLY he can make people fall asleep in a buncha ways (the mouths on his hands, his weird eye thingies, the tickets) n once thats happened he n his henchmen can access said dreams (he can even control em!!) n if they find tha “spiritual core” they can destroy it n essentially leave em as an empty shell thatll never wake up!! yaaaaaay /s
he fails bc tanjirou realises a way out n its by cuttin his own head off in his dream, eventually everyones awake again n tanjirou finds enmu on tha roof(?) of tha train
after a while he does manage 2 decapitate him but surprise!!! hes not dead
turns out he literally FUSED WITH THA TRAIN n is plannin on eatin everyone inside, includin kyo n the gang
but he doesnt bc Main Protags Cant Die(tm) n dies while complainin that he wants a redo (sorry enmu, ily but u cant turn back time unless ur yoshikage kira)
also sidenote enmus tha only kizuki w/o a canon backstory as far as i can remember and????? H??
ANYWHO after that whole debacle basketball akaza (UPPER moon 3) shows himself!!! FUCK
n after all that struggle against the 8th strongest demon of all time now they gotta deal w tha 4th strongest????? damn,
so yeah it goes how youd imagine, its a tough fuckin battle n its Not Fun but it turns out kyoujurou fucking dies n i genuinely didnt realise until he said “kamado my boy, lets have one final chat” bc i was so in denial n lets face it i still am now
long story short idk how im gonna manage 2 get thru the movie w/o breakin down @ the end
anyway after that horrible horrible time tanjirou goes n meets senjurou, kyos little bro, who gives him kyos sword guard thing (its shaped like a flame!!) n i havent read it in a while so i cant FULLY remember but i think this is where he learns abt sun breathing??
after that they end up goin on a mission in tha red light district w tengen, his 3 wives are there 2 serve as spies (theyre kunoichi, which i think are ninjas of some kind??) n the boys have 2 find em
they do manage 2 find em but not after runnin into upper moon 6, who are 2 twins called daki n gyuutarou
after that fight tengen has 2 retire bc he got fucked up p bad from that fight n he wants 2 make sure tha girls are ok above all
so after that arc tanjirou n nezuko go down 2 tha swordsmith village (bc the guy who usually makes his swords is fuckin tired of repairin it) n run into mitsuri!! she tells tan that theres smth in tha forest thatll make him stronger
ngl this is tha arc i remember tha least abt so this desc is prolly SO inaccurate despite havin 2 o my favs in it)
but muichirou shows himself too n hes mean 2 tanjirou >:/ (he does get nicer eventually but 2 him specifically)
a 10 y/o kid named kotetsu shows tan this 6 armed trainin robot called yoriichi type 0 (based on tha first slayer 2 use sun breathin) n tanjirou breaks it by accident qwq
but he keeps trainin thanks 2 kotetsu but tha kids a harsh fuckin trainer ill tell u that
anyway so we have a whole buncha demons 2 deal w here except most of em are 1 demon split into different parts
hantengu n gyokko, upper moons 4 n 5 respectively!! mui deals w gyokko while mitsuri genya nezuko n tanjirou deal w hantengu
in these fights mitsuri n mui get their demon slayer marks!! these are marks that they get when they surpass the limits of tha human body n they look like tha marks demons have (muis looks like clouds on his cheeks n mitsuris is 2 hearts on her collarbone)
next up is tha hashira trainin arc!! everyone gets trained by each of tha hashira 2 try n unlock their slayer marks
each have a dif trainin style that focuses on dif stuff (for example gyoumei focuses a lot on physical strength n stuff like that, obanai is more abt accuracy) n this is where giyuus backstory gets revealed bc he doesnt think hes worthy o bein a hashira :((
basically him n sabito were absolute besties!! they both trained together n sabito basically told him not 2 die ever
but it all goes wrong @ final selection- sabito manages 2 take down every demon on tha mountain but one of em, that bein the hand demon that exclusively targets water breathers (theyre easy 2 distinguish bc of their blue haoris n custom made fox masks)
he manages 2 save giyuu n everyone else from tha selection except 4 himself (this is why giyuus haori is like that- its made from his sister n sabitos haoris)
giyuu blames himself 4 both of their deaths bc he failed 2 protect em n says that he doesnt deserve 2 have passed tha selection let alone b a hashira,, but tanjirou convinces him otherwise!! ^^
then one day while giyuus trainin w sanemi disaster hits- oyakata-sama, his wife n two of their kids just died
the 2nd to last arc- the infinity castle!! thingsre gettin real n muzans revealed himself
in tha infinity castle EVERYONES there but can u really blame em theyve been workin up 2 this 4 millenia
shinobu runs into upper moon 2- douma, aka the bastard that killed her sister as well as inosukes mum
she is. justifiably pissed. n she gives it her all but he kills her :(( douma ily but also FUCK YOU.
so perfect timing!!! heres her adopted sister!! as well as inosuke!!!! revenge battle time >:0
in the end shinobus poison is what kills him- her whole body is filled w wisteria poison thats deadly 2 a demon so he basically consumed her whole body weight in poison rip
but ofc word gets out via messenger crow that shes dead n its just a real sad moment tbh :( but theres no time 4 that bc giyuu n tanjirou just ran into akaza >:((
so tanjirous pissed as hell now n w their combined efforts they take down tha basketball lookin bastard (bastardball??)
meanwhile obanai n mitsuri (n yushirou iirc?? he uses his own art 2 control her @ some point tho i cant remember when) deal w tha new upper moon 4 (nakime, whos also shiftin tha rooms around w her blood art n makin tha fight super fuckign annoyin tbh) n muichirou genya sanemi n gyoumei deal w kokushibou (upper moon 1, also tha original sun breathers twin brother so he gets moon breathin >:3)
mitsuri n obanai fake their deaths w help from yushirou n muzan falls 4 it, which comes in handy later ;3
zenitsu also deals w his former bully, upper moon 6 aka kaigaku aka dickhead supreme who if zenitsu didnt kill i would personally kill w my bare hands
so after everyones taken down all thats left is muzan >:( muzan kills tamayo real early on n everyones goin all out on him
we also learn that he has multiple brains n hearts in his body eww
also the hashira have their marks now!! but all but sanemi n giyuu get killed n giyuu loses his arm :((((
genya also gets killed noo
eventually ofc the battle is won thanks 2 everyones relief, it took for fuckin ever bc the only way muzan can die is tha sun so they had 2 kill time n keep him out in tha sun 4 a long time
also nezukos been cured!! shes a human!! n shes comin 2 help!!
but OH GOD OH FUCK MUZAN TURNED TANJIROU INTO A DEMON N GIYUUS CRYIN N INOSUKES CRYIN THRU HIS MASK N ITS GOIN SO FUCKING WRONG but he gets tha will 2 turn back bc Fuck You Muzan, The Power Of Friendship Defeats All
the 2nd to last chapter is tha happy endin, the kamaboko gang visit tanjirou n nezukos house, giyuu cuts his hair n SMILES n tha hashira have their final meetin w oyakata-samas son kiriya
i cried readin it ngl their sufferin is finally over...... it cost a lot but now theres no more demons,,,
chapter 205 is set in tha modern day! kanao n tanjirous descendants are shown, as well as zenitsu n nezukos
everyone who died/never had kids get reincarnated (for example gyoumei is now a daycare worker, kyos reincarnation toujurou is besties w one o tans descendants n giyuu (giichi) is friends w sabito again!! makomos their friend too!!
ALSO KIRIYA IS STILL ALIVE hes the oldest man in japan!! this is huge bc the ubayashiki family dont usually live past 30 bc of a curse that was put on em when they had muzan
yushirou is still alive too but thats bc hes a demon n he paints tamayo for a living qwq
it just made me cry so hard bc waaah,,, everyone gets 2 live a demon-free life now,,, anyway typin this took me like an hour im sorry mint (as well as anyone else who read this)

a good point someone made in the tags of the douma crush post.
the tags said:
Tumblr media
I will not tag them because it’s their opinion and they need not defend it. Plus, it’s okay to have different opinions for the same character. However, I’m bored and I enjoy talking about Douma and his psychology. [ I also understand this person ships Shinobu/Douma, please don’t mistake this post as me dissecting the ship apart. S/D has potential and incredible emotional energy (on one side of the equation*cough*Shinobu*cough*) and can develop into a relationship that is some unorthodox take on love. ]
However, if I were to say that Douma truly fell in love with Shinobu then it would debunk my ask in its entirety. I wrote a whole lot that wouldn’t get saved because this website is stupid but basically,
Douma’s APD/ASPD (the clinical term for sociopathy and psychopathy) makes it hard for him to experience many emotions. He might’ve experienced being excited, boredom, curiosity, irritation, likes, dislikes but for grandiose and notorious emotions like love, anger, hate, fear, sadness, those are hard to achieve. They require more work on the body and brain, they ask so much of you and take a toll on you.
Emotions like those wreck you, Douma has never lived feeling wrecked and off his feet, knee-less. An immortal, nihilistic being who lives hedonistically–– while he doesn’t fear the day he may fall, he takes a liking/interest to the people who can/could do it. This character thinking and whatnot are tropes, the specific tropes for Shinobu and Douma would be: Villain Takes an Interest, Graceful Loser, and Villainous Crush.
Villainous Crush, in particular, was used on the site TVTropes to explain Douma and Shinobu’s last-minute interactions.
Tumblr media
The beginnings of a crush and the beginnings of love can work similar fashion that’s why they are used synonymously, despite that being inaccurate. Love is powerful and pungent and while there are many variations of it, the reactions and effects walk around the same area. The love Douma may have for a significant other is not the same love he’d have for a child he’d decree as his own, but the effects should be around the same ballpark. We know that his true nature is cold and closed off, the only person we know to have had experienced seeing it was Kanao. Love would require Douma to shed the façade he carries and it’s obvious that he dislikes that side of him. In my humble opinion, Douma’s love has to be more than a flushed face and drumming heartbeat because those are symptoms you can get from anything.
As requested, I will soon get into my hcs regarding love w/ Douma but here are some quotes I feel encompass it pretty well.
"How I do love you! How deeply and for how long I have done so! It was precisely this impulse, this love for you, formerly unidentified, that gnawed at me from within and darkened and saddened me from without, that weighed down on my hands and shackled my feet. It is precisely because of the nature of this passion that I am languid and unsuccessful and just what I am. I am haunted (…)" –– Letters: Summer 1926
“This is how I learned to love.
Fleeting; in a panic; a frenzy;
watching as the wicked unfolds.”
––– SINK.
“Love,
this is; no poem. What is the term
for the gathering of one falcon?
An embarrassment of poets.
An adoration. An abyss.”
–– Venus as a Bear.

Yes but your drabble where Akaza's stripes are ticklish is too cute. Can I please request Tickletober (tracing) with Lee! Akaza and ler! Douma (you can change the ler to whomever you like if you think of something better)
Day 14: Tracing
Aww! Thank you so much anon! I appreciate it :D And of course you can request these two for Tracing! Since we already have a Douma and Akaza pairing, I decided to change it up a little and have Akaza get wrecked by the "Douma tickle minions" I hope you like it!
“Wow, Lord Douma wasn’t kidding when he said you were ticklish.” Daki sounded almost amazed.
“He’s so squirmy! Hold him down!” Gyutaro grunted, hands currently encasing Akaza’s.
“I’m trying! He won’t stop kicking!” Kaikagu rolled his eyes as he pushed down on the upper moon's knees, sneaking a few quick scratches here and there.
Akaza was in hell. One minute he was minding his business finishing up a meeting, the next he was jumped, brought to the ground by Douma’s minions as they attacked his stripes, tracing each one gently and sending boom after boom of ticklishness throughout his core.
Had they not put his only weakness on his chest, he probably would have committed a massacre.
That’s the only reason. Yep. Definitely.
“He’s so loud.” Rui mused, his small hands tracing the lines along Akaza’s stomach and sides like he was coloring in a drawing. Daki’s own nails were skittering lightly over the stripes along his right arm, pinching at his bicep and making him flail. “It’s kinda funny.”
“You mean hilarious!” Enmu giggled, their own hands tracing a rather sensitive spot along Akaza’s other side, reaching down and poking his armpits every now and then. “Oh, this is the sound of dreams, no?”
“GEHAHHAHAHAHAHHA! STAHHAHAHHAP IIHIIHIHIIIHT YOHOOHOHOU DAHAHHAHAMN BRAHAHHAHAHTS!” Akaza cackled, head thrown back in mirth as he tried and failed to break free. No matter which way he moved, someone’s fingers were tracing a stripe, scribbling into his ribs, even daring to graze his neck. “GEHEHHHEHHET THE HEHEHEHEHLL OHOHOOHOHOHFF!”
“Oh, come now Akaza. Don’t tell me you're not having fun.” Douma was standing in the background, a smile hidden behind his fan as he watched his minions go to town. Both he and Akaza knew it would only take a second to escape. Akaza was far stronger than all the demons combined. It was his own willingness to stay put that kept him “trapped.”
Douma knew this, and he relished it.
“IIHIHIIHIHIHILL GEHHEHEHHEHT YOHOOOHOHOU BAHAHAHHHACK!” Akaza roared after the blonde as Douma exited, giggling in his fan. “JUHUHUHUUST YOHOHOHOU WAHAHHAHIT!”
“We’ll see.” Douma winked.
I hope this was good!
