It's been a long LONG time since I've done updated art of this man on any platform.
Drake Edward Morrison III (the third)
A once mortal immortal touched by the last spark of essence of an ancient god of death. The man that started the creation of an entire universe in my brain, all from creating OCs with my high school best friend Winna in 11th grade.
Born to a noble family of recognized knights in the equivalent of earth year 506, he is now over 1500 years old and lives in modern era Talain, a clean energy, magitech run, green super city of about 15 million people. He has a handful of partners and is currently raising one high energy 8 year old with his girlfriends.
He's old money, having accumulated wealth over his long ass life, and keeping up with ever changing societies and economies...for the most part. There were times where he fucked off into the wilderness to hermit for a couple decades here and there. But currently, he's returned to his ancestral home, built over the old castle ruins with a modern but rustic 12 bedroom, 14 bathroom, 2 kitchen, indoor pool, and a large study home with several other people and a feral cat colony that roams the 150 or so acres of forest and brook covered lands around it.
He's typically seen as being very grumpy and stoic, intimidating to most people. But to those who actually know him to his core, he's incredibly kind and caring and loves to care for children especially. Very dad vibes. He's also well trained in many types of martial arts and use of very many types of weapons. He speaks at least 12 languages, probably more, and is technically the strongest man alive, physically.
He has mastery over fire magic and was gifted power over shadow and death magic upon becoming immortal. Technically, he's an elf. Raised in a mixed culture house, the Earth equivalent being Italio-Spaniard (father's side) and Indio-Moroccan (mother's side). He was closer to his mother than his father, and had two younger siblings; his brother Khalid and sister Refugia.
Some fun facts:
- While the god his power comes from is based on a raven, Drake's wings are that of a barn owl
-- he therefore flies completely silently, but also fairly slowly compared to most others.
- His favorite food of all time is blueberries. If you ever want to get on his good side or attempt to bribe him, bring a blueberry cheesecake (or something of that nature)
- He's a very meat and potatoes kind of guy, simple comfort foods and a lot of it.
- He's recently (as in the past couple decades) replaced his alcoholism with meditation and playing with his kids. Even so, he still likes a social drink here and there.
- He grew up learning from his mother's spiritual practices, the Earth equivalent being Islam. While he doesn't actively practice anymore, he does observe on his mother's birthday and occasionally some holidays.
- He actually loves to sing and dance, they are his art forms. His favorite music to dance to is swing.
- He manscapes. He's actually a very hairy man, but he prefers to be mostly hairless and neat. Occasionally he's okay with letting it grow out, but not often.

I think...that I'm coming to the realization that Treias and all its inhabitants are in fact Inner World and always has been. Additionally, Drake Edward Morrison III, and maybe a few key others, are probably headmates...
I'm a little surprised it took me this long to figure it out. I don't really know if this is like...an introject thing or he was always a part of the system and I just was blind to it or what. I keep seeing to fit everything neatly into labels but that's not how existing works. But whatever this whole situation is, there's no actual separation between the then and now, he has always been a singular being and presence in my life and everything we've gone through is "canon" I guess lol.
My previous tentative belief of this being a "What if I'm connected to a different universe" thing I realize isn't exactly right. I still think that could be a possibility for some, but it isn't the case with me. Treias just really is my actual Inner World, in its entirety. OCs are still OCs, but my connection to them as being very real is also true, the two aren't mutually exclusive.
Pardon my ableist language here, but reading either of these beliefs from an outside perspective I'm sure seems like the ramblings of a crazy person. But like. Idk this one feels correct. Treias is my inner world, but also a fictional playground at the same time. Parts of the playground become canon to the inner world, and others are like an AU? If that even makes sense. One is more like creating it and the other is not like discovering it, tho the two often cross over??
Uh. Either way, this revelation opens up the world SIGNIFICANTLY on the inside. It's always been my escape and I should have figured sooner tbh. And my complex feelings/relationship with Drake and how it's changed over time. Somehow it makes even more sense this way.
I'm not really sure how I feel completely. There's a weird mix of like anxiety and hopeful...something. A weird combination of discovery and loss at the same time? And I don't know why. I really don't know what to think of it all and probably still need much more time to really sit with it.
I know every state is different but I wonder if there's like. Somewhere I could share this info and others have similar experiences?? Idk I'm really tired and anxious over new job and need to sleep so idk idk. I do feel really strongly about this tho. Treias is and always has been Inner World in a Plural/System sense, and it's highly likely that at least a handful of OCs might be headmates either having always been such or have become introjects.

Impact Wrestling has been hyping that a former Impact world champion (or more than one!) is returning to the company at Slammiversary.  Obviously this is because a several former Impact world champions recently became free agents.  But what’s surprised me when they do the hype videos is that the list of potential suspects is always a little deeper than I expected.
So just for fun, let’s run through all the former world champions in TNA/Impact, and evaluate whether they could be the mystery man.  Note that Impact includes all NWA world champions between June 2002 and May 2007 in their title lineage, so we’ll go along with that for this bit.  Also, in case you’re thinking “it can’t be that guy because he’s too old,” bear in mind Ken Shamrock is 56 and currently booked for a tag title match this month.
First, let’s eliminate the obvious, since the returning champion can’t be someone who’s already on Impact’s active roster: Eddie Edwards, Ken Shamrock, Rhino, Rob Van Dam, and Sami Callihan.
Next, here’s everybody that I know is under a WWE contract: Abyss, AJ Styles, Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre, Jeff Hardy, John Morrison, R-Truth, Robert Roode, and Samoa Joe.
I think these guys are under WWE legends contracts, but it’s possible any of those deals could have quietly expired: Christian, Jeff Jarrett, Mick Foley.
Only a couple of Impact champions are in AEW, and they’re probably not allowed to work for other US groups: Matt Hardy and Pentagon Jr.
These guys were with the NWA last I checked, but between the pandemic shutdowns and working relationships, it’s possible their contracts have lapsed or they’d agree to come in for a one-off: Eli Drake, James Storm, Mr. Anderson, Nick Aldis.
Here are the “snowball’s chance in hell” options.  Impact has never acknowledged a 2005 NWA title change where Ray Gonzalez beat Jeff Jarrett in Puerto Rico, so I don’t think he’d be on their radar.  Tessa Blanchard just had an acrimonious split with the company a couple of weeks ago, well after this “former world champion returns” stuff started.  Alberto El Patron and Austin Aries have burned their bridges with just about everyone, which hasn’t stopped Impact before but does make each of them a bit of a longshot.
That leaves the following as plausible picks:
Bully Ray - his ROH deal has expired and Impact has been teasing the return of his stable, Aces & Eights.  If he doesn’t plan to retire or sit out the pandemic, Impact is the best place for him.
Chris Sabin - He’s already under contract with Impact as a producer, but the point is that I didn’t know that until I looked it up.  So I could see Impact trotting him out, selling it like he’s a new acquisition, and hoping nobody knows the difference.
Eric Young - His WWE run raised his star power but he’s probably still very affordable.  I can’t see him getting a better offer elsewhere.  In AEW, ROH, or MLW he’d just be a journeyman; in Impact he’d be treated like a big part of their history.
Ethan Carter III - He’s all but signed.  You know that promo video Impact keeps airing with the guy watching the news?  The full version appeared on EC3′s Twitter, with a few extra seconds revealing the guy is him.  The only real question is if he’s the only one.
Kurt Angle - People were saying he was too banged up to keep wrestling before he signed with TNA in 2006, and he was running on fumes in his last WWE run.  But that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t be crazy enough to try a comeback, or that Impact wouldn’t be crazy enough to enable him.  All that aside, the hype for this returning champion never promised he’d be returning as a wrestler, so Kurt could conceivably show up as an authority figure or something.
Raven - As far as I can determine he hasn’t totally retired, so it’s technically possible.  He doesn’t have the same “let’s ignore how old he is” buzz as Goldberg or Sting, though, and I’m not even sure most Impact fans even remember he was a world champion with them in 2005.
Sting - The fact that they show him in those montages of former world champions shows how unconcerned they are with the fact he’s 61 and has spinal stenosis.  But we’re not discussing whether Impact should sign any of these guys, only if they would.  And whether I like it or not, I could see Sting showing up and hitting guys with baseball bats a couple of times a year.
