hey fellow transfem folks, especially with long torsos & a little bit of a belly:

how do you get skirts/shorts/pants to sit on yr natural waist & stop falling down to yr hips? i've only gotten it to work on like ONE skirt, which has a drawstring in the back to take up slack + elastic on the sides to stay snug to my body. but i can't wear just that one skirt all the time.

This is the outfit I wore for 2 weeks when I went nocturnal for Endwalker (because Aether DC girlie in EMEA things) and had to go do a food run at like 9-10pm while in the ✨queue ✨ and I had lied to someone about being "sick" to do this and thus explain why I sent documents at 6am. Basically lived in PJs for a fortnight and messed my sleep schedule up until the new year for that bloody expact.

Anyway one time I turned up to the local Aldi in this fit (well similar), bumping into a TA and he decided to remind me of this until I graduated. 18 months of reminding me I went to buy 50p cola and mac and cheese dressed like I had discovered Primark for the first time.

Still in awe he's got away with this like he's so proud he successfully turned up dressed like that and no one stopped him.

In today's edition of: the kids are alright- so, I work at an 18th century history museum where we do the whole school tour shebang and we have clothes for the kids to dress up in. And we always say the rule is they can dress up as a girl or boy as long as they do it with respect. I usually don't have any takers on crossdressing but today three boys (and one adorable girl) decided to take the plunge together and oh man. Nothing fills your heart more than watching a 9-10 year boy cinch the drawstrings on a horribly inaccurate petticoat like "oh this is drip. Oh I've got MAD drip." Like 😊😊😊😊😊 yeah he fucking did.
