ECOLUXE Pre-Oscars Luxury Lounge Benefited The Wild Beauty Foundation, Marley's Mutts Dog Rescue Ranch

Debbie Durkin’s star-studded event celebrated Film's Biggest Night

(Hollywood, CA - March 8, 2024) - Veteran producer Debbie Durkin hosted her 18th annual ECOLUXE pre-Oscars Luxury Lounge to benefit The Wild Beauty Foundation and Marley's Mutts Dog Rescue Ranch at the iconic Avalon venue in the heart of Hollywood. 

To celebrate film's biggest night, the exclusive daytime event featured the premiere of JEMZ SMILE, the world's first and only chewable teeth whitening gum, as well as the premiere of the Fountain of Uth oxygen and hydrogen all-in-one beauty and recovery treatment. Also featured at the exciting ECOLUXE event: an all-day presentation of top fashion designers (The De La Cruz Collection, NYLA Couture, and Fayah Athletics Spring & Summer '24 runway), RevealU's new GOLDLUXE Collection of skin and hair care products, music by DJ Talon Reid, Grzenia Guitars, foods by B & L Specialty Catering and Bangin' Buns, pet brands SPLEASH and La'au Products K9 Skin Rescue, #SoulTeach book by Dr. Michelle Barr, Glo Design Lab's cowboy hat bar, and tastings by Reserva De La Torre Tequila. Celebrity Gift Bags also included Laird Superfood Latte and frother, ettitude bamboo eye masks, and 20NE tobacco-free products.

Marley's Mutts brought therapy dogs to soothe stars' nerves before the big awards day, plus puppies for adoption. Topanga Mindful Mustang horses were onsite raising awareness for wild horses in support of The Wild Beauty Foundation @wildbeautyspirit and the award-winning film Wild Beauty - Mustang Spirit of the West, a Best Documentary 2024 Oscars contender.

Famous faces in attendance included “The Real Housewives of Orange County” star Gretchen Rossi and her husband Slade Smiley, Shaun Toub ("Iron Man"), “Oppenheimer” star Will Roberts, Netflix’s “Too Hot To Handle” star Linzy Luu, MTV’s “Siesta Key” star Joe Jenkins, “Love Island” stars Kyra Lizama and Will Moncada, Willie Gault (former NFL star), and more.

There are already 100,000 once-wild horses in government holding (horse jail), never to run again because public lands are being cheaply leased to big business for cattle feeding. Soon there will be no more wild horses in the USA and we the taxpayer will still be footing the bill so rich businesses can get fatter. Exclusive event merges fitness and philanthropy during the biggest month in sports, taking place in advance of the ESPY Awards, MLB All-Star Game, and Paris Olympics

(Beverly Hills, CA) - On July 9, professional athletes, Olympians, and celebrities flocked to veteran producer Debbie Durkin's ECOLUXE Pre-ESPYS Sports Lounge, an exclusive private event merging fitness and philanthropy at a private residence in Beverly Hills to benefit Marley's Mutts Dog Rescue.

The popular event, a celebration of the ESPY Awards, featured NFL players reuniting with colleagues and opponents, as well as Olympians headed to the 2024 Paris Olympics set to start this month. Notable attendees included Marcellus Wiley, Willie Gault, Al Joyner, Crystal Manning, Sofia Milos, Ian Ziering, Shaun Toub, Petri Hawkins Byrd, Jarrod Bunch, Sundiata Gaines, Greg Louganis, Princess Martha Louise from Norway, and more.

The pre-ESPYs edition of the ECOLUXE Lounge created a unique and intimate ambiance of purposeful brands. Highlights:

ZENO VERSE WELLNESS: Stars received a 6-day luxury, all-inclusive wellness retreat stay at 420Wellness MediSpaTels in Jamaica, featuring an authentic cultural and culinary experience.

Fayah Athletics: Showcased innovative athleisure wear for men and women from Canadian designer Ayo, including SPF50 sun-protected swimwear and performance tees made from eco-friendly fabrics.

Artist Gabe Gault: Showcased modern pieces and gifted signed prints, with notable works including the largest mural in the U.S. and collaborations with major entities like Nike, NFL, and Meta.

Green Renaissance: Author/Activist/Navy Veteran JM Balbuena celebrated history and culture with the launch of her latest book ‘Green Renaissance,’ featuring a surprise on-site activation.

Natasha Moor Cosmetics: Featured a pop-up booth with cruelty-free, natural, sustainable cosmetics, offering 1-on-1 consultations, mini touch-ups, personalized beauty advice, and a showcase of high-quality products.

Bangin' Buns: Served mini chicken sliders, Nashville style hot chicken tenders, and Bangin' sauce.

Marley’s Mutts Dog Rescue Ranch: A 501(c)(3) non-profit making a positive impact by rehabilitating souls and creating second chances using the human/animal bond, with puppies and therapy dogs available for adoption and foster.

Il s’agit pour lui d’une seconde carrière, artistique, après sa première carrière, sportive, olympique et aux Championnats du Monde, puis au Super Bowl avec son équipe des Bears !

En 1985, après l’une de leurs victoires, Willie Gault créait le rap “The Super Bowl Shuffle“, qui sera même enregistré et commercialisé. Cette chanson sera classée à la 41ème place du  Billboard Hot 100 et recevra une nomination aux Grammy !

Avant de porter le n°23 dans le Tennessee, il a en effet porté le maillot n°83 pendant 11 ans avec l’équipe des Chicago Bears puis des Los Angeles Raiders  pendant 5 ans. Il a joué dans la Ligue Nationale de Football américain et a été reçu avec son équipe par le Président américain Barak Obama.

Le 07 juin 2019, il a participé et c’est rare, à une convention de fans avec les Bears. Puis le 25 janvier 2020 il est honoré au BOSS Awards. Le 13 août 2023, il participe avec ses anciens co-équipiers à l’évènement Once a Raider, Always a Raider.

Comme ses fans peuvent le voir sur les réseaux sociaux, le sportif-acteur s’entretient, en participant régulièrement à des tournois de golf, des courses... Il bat encore des records en athlétisme dans ses catégories d’âge (2006, 2008, 2011 etc.). Le multi-sportif-acteur utilise également sa notoriété pour lever des fonds pour des fondations ou des associations caritatives, comme en 2019/2021/2022 aux Galas annuels de la Fondation Harold et Carole Pump durant lesquels on apprend qu’il connaît depuis plus de 20 ans la famille de l’acteur Jamie Foxx. Ou en 2023 pour le 15ème Anniversaire de La Foundation for Reconstructive Surgery .

Le multi-sportif-acteur fait également partie de l’équipe qui entraîne l’athlète Blake Leeper, lui aussi multi-récompensé en compétition.

L’acteur a également gardé des contacts avec le monde des médias (TV/Cinéma), en participant par exemple en 2020/2024 au Debbie Durkin’s EcoLuxe Lounge et en 2020/2021 aux  Festival Annuel du Film de NewPort Beach.

Il a 2 enfants, dont l’un est peintre... comme un certain Michael T Weiss !
