It’s time to do something fun to thank y’all for being here! If any of you follow my sister @vi050iv then you might be familiar with the band au doodles she posted a year ago on insta. Casey, Junior, and April are in a band managed by Sunita, and they sing about triumphs and rising against odds. They’re called The Underdogz 💥I referenced the cover of an idw issue I really like when drawing this~ (pretend I drew a z instead of an s in their banner)

Anywaysss I will doodle some prizes, so there’ll be a deadline (I’ll give plenty of time). Of course you’re free to keep doodling for the band au long after the date passes.

ROTTMNT Headcanons: Just a random mix of stuff

All the kids have dimples

Mikey and Raph have them on both cheeks

Raph’s are pretty small and you can't see them unless he’s smiling wide

But Mikey’s are deep they show up a lot when he’s talking

Leo has a dimple on his right cheek 

Donnie has one on his left 

And both their dimples are pretty deep 

Splinter used to push their cheeks together and poke their dimples

“My matching baby boys” is what he used to say whenever he did it

And April has two on one cheek (she used to get bullied for this)

Splinter didn't know why they had dimples because he never met a family member with them

His mom didn’t have them, and his Jiji didn’t have them 

And he wasn't close with the rest of the family so it wasn't like he could call and ask 

He thought it would be a mystery forever

Until Karai smiled for the first time

The kids love musicals 

The Momma Mia movies are some of their favorites (they all agree the sequel is better)

It’s a tradition to watch them whenever something major happens

They watched them when they defeated Shredder, when April graduated High School, when she got her acceptance letter to her dream college, and when they defeated the Kraang (but Leo wasn’t lucid so he claims it doesn’t count)

(Donnie says that argument is bullshit cause he was lucid enough to sing along)

The twins will sing every single song 

They have costumes, they have props, and they know all the dances by heart

They perform their little theater-loving hearts out (my siblings do this every time)

They all have a favorite song from both movies

April’s is ‘Dancing Queen’ (a little basic but a classic nonetheless(when she’s having a really good day she’ll sing along with the twins)), and ‘When I kissed The Teacher’ (cause watching Donnie and Leo run around makes her laugh)

Raph can't decide between ‘Our Last Summer’ and ‘Slipping Through My Fingers’, and his favorite sequel song is ‘My Love, My Life’ (he always tears up (his baby brothers singing those songs doesn’t help with the tears))

Leo’s is ‘Voulez-Vous’, and ‘Waterloo’ (he plays them both when he’s getting ready)

Donnie’s is ‘Money Money Money’ (for obvious reasons), and ‘Kisses Of Fire’ (cause Leo always sings in the accent)

Mikey’s is ‘Super Trouper’ (cause Donnie Leo and April sing it together), and ‘Why Did It Have To Be Me’ (cause that’s my favorite song)

The whole group dressed up as “Donna and The Dynamos” for Halloween (but no one could decide who got to be Donna so they were just “The Dynamos”)

I don't know if you know this but surgeons play music while they’re operating on patients 

And all I can think about is Leo blasting his music whenever he’s operating on a family member

He either plays Lizzo or Selena there is no in-between

He always sings along and he forces his helpers (aka April and Splinter) to sing along 

He has two reasons for doing this 1. He can’t think unless there is some sort of background noise and 2. It helps calm everyone down

He will kick people out if they complain about the music/refuse to sing

This is why Draxum is banned from the medbay

"I request that you take one drop in your eye, each day. It'll work toward the healing process and help in keeping you from losing any more of your vision." He held out the bottle and Raph gently took it. It looked so small in his hand. The soldier made a note to search for bigger bottles.

"Thanks, little man."

"Always, sir." Casey smiled.

"Just "Raph" is fine." The snapper shook his head. Then he stood up, stretching as he did so. His tail whipped around a moment, nearly smacking Casey who had to duck, before settling back down.

"Okay, Raph. Now that you're finished, it's time I looked for—" The soldier gave out a startled noise when he found himself being lifted under one strong arm. His wide eyes worked their way over to look up at Raph. The turtle in question was also looking down at him with wide eyes.

"What—" They both started at the same time. Casey snapped his mouth shut and scowled, waiting for the other teen to continue. Cause he had manners, dang it.

"—just came out of your mouth?!"

Casey raised an eyebrow. "...What do you mean?"

"That—, you—" The snapper ran a hand down his face. "Oh, I felt that."

"What?!" 

"I mean, the sound itself was kinda awkward but you definitely got the point across. Maybe it could be considered a "human accent"?" Raph made his way out of the dojo, Casey still firmly tucked under his arm. The other teen threw his hands up in the air. 

"Okay?!"

"Huh? Oh, sorry. You just made a… a chirp, I guess? Like a turtle." 

"Oh. But… I've always made that noise? I think?" The soldier blinked. "It felt normal at least? I don't think I've ever had anyone tell me about it."

"You said you were raised by older us, right? I suppose that would make sense, you picking up those things." Raph tilted his head. Then he smiled, looking down at the boy. "Heh, a turtle-raised human. Kinda like we're human-raised turtles. Even if Pops got mutated into a rat."

"...Whatever." Casey crossed his arms and looked away. His cheeks burned. Had he really been making sounds that humans normally didn't? And nobody in the Resistance, who was human, said anything about it?! They must have thought he was insane or mentally ill or something. The soldier let out a grumble.

On one hand I am living for all the potential angst this au could offer. Like how painful Donnie and Leo must've felt when getting their new arms. If Big Mama sees Mikey calling Draxum his second Dad. The boys reactions to Big Mama being their mom. Or Big Mama when she realized Draxum not only mutated her kids but also tried to kill them on multiple occasions especially with the dark armor (almost successfully).

But on the other-hand, there's the part of me who imagines family fluff. Such as moments before the mutation. Maybe Mikey trying give Big Mama her own redemption arc. How family dynamics would work. I feel so conflicted!

lol, i'm always a fan of both in a fic (i may as well call this a fic now.)

and their Family dynamic would be pretty...messy i think. for a lot of reasons. The main being that there isn't exactly a lot of trust between Big Mama and the boys (other than Mikey. He'd definitely try to get Mama to have a redemption arc of some sort. Not sure what that would look like yet, but we shall see.)

Festival Of Youth

The Reyes took a trip up to Mt. Komorebi to sightsee and enjoy the youth festival. They tried new foods, fun activities and explored the island.
