El Dorado has been a classic tale of sorts with many adventurers, but with it having never been found it became a classic tale of a 'what if' scenario. But what if I told you not only it was real but the person in front of you now was a princess from el dorado herself?

It would be hard to believe, right? But it's true, at least once upon a time hundreds of years ago it was. Arcelia doesn't remember much, thinking she was born sometime in the spring of 1489 and her family was one of the noble families of El Dorado - equivalent to a princess of her community.

Her life was relatively normal, and she didn't think of much different with it, and she had managed to get married at 19, adopting the children from her new husband's first marriage. she was happy, content with many things but there was a part of her that wondered what life was like outside the enclosed space of El Dorado.

But it was only just a dream, that was, until a spanish explorer managed to find their home. And while others shied away from the stranger, she found this opportunity to learn about their culture and home and things outside of this. And because of this, this caused a lot of friction between not only her husband and herself but also her family itself

When the opportunity arose for her to come with him to a new world, she found herself torn - wanting to be a part of a great civilization but also wanting more than just to be a homemaker. Eventually, she decided, she was going to pack her things and sneak out in the middle of the night. Though she was quickly caught in her sloppy escape.

Pleading with her family to let her leave, they warned her that the Gods would not forgive her betrayal but she had made her decision, and right as she turned around she felt something rip through her chest. Looking down was the end of a knife and a sigh from whoever was behind her.

Collapsing onto the ground, she found herself angry - angry at the fact she never got to see outside the compounds of El Dorado. But as she went to close her eyes the traveler found her and extended an arm out to her. Unsure of what to do, she embraced him as if he was death and slipped away into death

Then, somehow, she woke up on a boat with the man who had saved her. She came to learn the basics of what had happened - that she had been turned into a creature called a vampire and that there were many things that lurked in the dark. She learned as much as she could and is fiercely loyal to her maker - willing to do just about anything for them

She's a very prominent fashion designer/model and is quite well known in Europe where she frequently stays. She has never been back to her home, wondering if it was even still colonized, but has decided to let that stay in the past along with who she once was

The Max + Robin, Nancy, Steve, and Jonathan sibling dynamics is something I been saying for MONTHS like imagining them is so funny to me

Max and Steve dynamics would 100% be Max doing some dangerous shit (like playing with a lighter and hairspray) that gives Steve a heart attack then Steve jokes Max will be the reason his gray hair will grow in faster. Max would 100% be like “you are the coolest person ever but I will never admit it to you” and Max would tear up when she think of her and Steve friendship because this is the brother she always wanted

I feel like Max and Robin dynamics would be constant joking with each other like Robin would create nicknames for her like calling her Little Orphan Annie all the time so Max retaliates by giving Robin birds seeds when she asks for a snack and Robin retaliates by trying to eat the bird seeds till Steve smack them out her hands then ask “why” and Robin would claim she was being challenged 

Max and Nancy dynamic would be again Max looking up to Nancy like the coolest person ever like she does with Steve. Nancy would 100% teach Max how to shoot a gun. I feel like Max would try to annoy Nancy (in a joking way of course) all the time cuz if she finds out Billy try to sleep with Karen you know for a fact Max abt to be unbearable abt it like Max and Nancy would be jokingly disagreeing on something then Max goes “Hey don’t talk back to your aunt” then Nancy would said “I don’t have a aunt- OH you little shit”

Max and Johnathan dynamic I feel like John would be the second person Max goes to if she need to talk ending up in them watching a movie. Max would see season 4 Johnathan and be like “Damn wtf happen to you but you look like a true Californian not whatever the fuck Mike has going on”. Also John would teach Max how to use a Camera

Bonus: Max would try to teach them all how to skateboard but stopped for a couple of months after Robin twisted her ankle but in those months Steve teaches Max how to drive. Nancy teaches Max to shoot a gun. Johnathan would teaches her how to use a camera. Robin would teach Max how to speak other languages.

steve is the one Max Admires Most i think? but you'd never hear that from her. and even though she never says it, steve gets that general gist but really hates it, as he doesn't want her to be like him, but she won't hear any shit he talks about himself. she's been vulnerable with him like Three Times, which is more than Anyone Else, even lucas. he teaches her how to play basketball and in return she teaches him how to (vaguely) skateboard

ROBIN BEING A BIRD ASHJSHJSHJSHJSHJS. i feel like robin would be more confused about where Max Is Getting All These Bird Seeds????? but she plays along anyways. robin was the first max came out to when she realized she was bi and smiled and hugged her and teased her for her crushes on el and lucas. they have a more steve + dustin dynamic, with robin acting a little bit like a mentor/sibling figure to her. she only just realizes she's adopted the traumatized gremlin when she wraps an arm around max's shoulder and ruffles her hair, and remembers she saw steve do the same to dustin. she calls max 'my little sister' and max thinks it is So Cool to have an older sister like robin so she calls rob 'my big sister' and she really likes how it sounds and she's all like excited

they've all adopted her, but only robin and steve acknowledge it, and the other two just Don't Know about it lmao

Another weird El theory that crossed my mind-based on something in s2.

Sort of off topic I still have a hunch El's other powers are there but not her telekenesis. Cause mindflayer's in d&d can steal powers from individuals + mindflayers have telekenesis. And cause people frankly associate El too much with just her telekenesis- rather than her nuanced characterization or even her various other powers.But maybe not ...cause cliches got to cliche . Smh

Okay back to my point

El in s2 says to Kali/ fake brenner (papa): "GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" I understand the literal interpretation. But I find the verbiage interesting because the only person who has literally gone into people's heads - is El. She with Terry/Billy's invitation - goes into their traumatic memories relating to Papa/Neil (ab*sive father figures). They both grab her arm and allow her into their heads/memories .

We also saw El and Kali's storyline mirror the original star wars films- mostly luke (El) and yoda (Kali) storyline.

Kali teaches El to levitate a train (which mirrors yoda teaching Luke to levitate a ship). Yoda (kali) also made Luke (El) see a allusion of their fathers- dark vader/papa, as a catalyst for self reflect .Both season 2 and the 2nd starwars film also have mystical caves- that reflect looking within .Yoda (Kali) even warns Luke (El) to not leave- but both heroes leave yoda/Kali- to save their friends, instead. And El (Luke) and Mike (leia) recreate the "its a trap scene" from the 2nd film as well. So I do wonder if El's phrase was taken from the recent starwars sequels too - telekenetic Rey says to "Get out of my head" when someone tries going into her mind as well.

Again: the Rey scene is Also about fathers...

"Han Solo. You feel like he's the father you never had. He would have disappointed you." Rey: "Get out of my head."

However what happens if El tries going into someone's memory without permission? I love El- but given her conditioning with Brenner she doesn't seem to respect others' privacy or boundaries- at the moment. What happens if she tries going into someone's tra*ma related memories - maybe relating to ab*sive fathers- and they're pissed and scream:

"GET OUT OF MY HEAD!"

If so my guess would be Will (maybe jonathan)- especially if they're both repressing and or hiding details about their ab*sive father.

Will already parallels Billy/Terry. Billy/Will are nicknames for William- both had ab*sive dads who called them h*mophobic names &forced them into baseball , both were also posseed by the mindflayer, etc. Will & Terry- are both tied to a bed , forecably injected in the arm in a hospital, and have sunflowers next to their beds, along with both characters being connected to rainbows. Terry even means "huntress" like how lonnie taught his sons to hunt.

I guess someone may do so to her...but it'd be more interesting the other way - especially given El's characterization in s3 (in regards to El spying on others and not respecting their boundaries AT ALL. And when confronted about how spying is wrong- she pretty much says she'll do as she pleases,and doesn't care. And she never apologizes for spying. Once again if not done, just another cool easteregg with... low key wasted potential XD
