I'm doing the dostoyevsky challenge, which means I'm learning a poem every month, since I've started late it's a short and German one by Ernst Jandl:
wenn fünf
gedichte
pro tag
schreiben
ich will
müsste
ich schon
einen ziemlichen
schwung haben
manchmal
sieht es
danach aus
manchmal
sehen
die gedichte
danach aus

"molte vie si incrociano in me
e io cammino sempre
su varie strade nello stesso tempo.
sono povero.
ma ho un'impressione:
sarei ricco
se fra queste vie una
fosse una via d'uscita.
molte vie si incrociano in me
e io cammino sempre
su varie strade nello stesso tempo.
sono povero.
ma ho un'impressione:
sarei più povero
se fra queste vie una
fosse una via d'uscita.

Is he really gone: Requiem for Ernst Jandl by Friederike Mayröcker
Is he really gone: Requiem for Ernst Jandl by Friederike Mayröcker @seagullbooks #GermanLitMonth
The loss, he says, the loss of someone so
close, the loss of a HAND and HEART
PARTNER is something so completely and
utterly devastating, yet it may be, we may be
able to keep right on speaking with this HEART and
LOVE PARTNER continue conversing and may
even expect a response from this person.
I’ve long had an interest in literary expressions of immediate grief, a much more elusive task than one…

Background info:
Viennese poet Ernst Jandl (1925 – 2000), was an active soldier in World War II. In this experimental poem, which plays on the word "Schützengraben", "war trench", he processed his experiences in the tranches of the battlefield. He wrote about this kind of poem: "The speech poem is only effective by reading it out loud, the length and intensity of the sounds are fixed by the spelling. Tension arises from the succession of short and long sounds, hardening of the word by removal of the vowels, disassembling the word and reshuffling of its elements to new, expressive sound groups, varied word repetitions with thematically justified supply of new words to the explosive final punchline."

MACHMAL KOMMT MIR JEMAND ENTGEGEN
manchmal kommt mir jemand entgegen
und lächelt mir zu.
da weiß ich, daß ich voll freude bin.
auf meinem gesicht hat jemand ein leuchten
gesehen und hat selbst zu leuchten
begonnen, auf mich hin.
(Ernst Jandl)

Guarda tutte le mie tasche.
in questa tengo cartoline illustrate.
in questa due orologi
il mio tempo e il tuo.
in questa un dado.
23 occhi vedono meglio di due.
puoi immaginare
quante paia di occhiali mi porto dietro.
