Liberal oppositionists attended the Kyiv forum in support of Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters fighting under the white-blue-white flag.
The “Forum for Support of Russian Volunteers” (Форум поддержки российских добровольцев) was held in Kyiv. The participants called the battalions that were bombing Belgorod fighters for Free Russia.
The conference was attended by: chess player Garry Kasparov, lawyer Mark Feygin, former State Duma deputy Ilya Ponomarev, Ukrainian political strategist Mykhailo Podolyak and Rostislav Murzagulov, who, working in the office of the head of Bashkortostan, helped imprison Lilia Chanysheva.
One of the organizers was Evgenia Chirikova, who stated that in the nine years of her life in Estonia, “the time for peaceful protests has passed.”
As proof of their radicalism, the forum participants accepted a memorandum asking that they be supported by at least one influential opposition figure in Russia.
