I was looking into this summer CE and i cant help but notice

This was inspired by Trigun wasnt it? Vlad is literally holding the Punisher and Mordred outfit is screaming Vash motif as well. And this whole set up is so london like. British trigun? Hellsing x trigun collab in disguise?

I still don't understand how Summer Castoria got Ector the Whale aka Susanoo's sword (Totsuka no Tsurugi, the sword that killed Ogetsuhime and Yamato no Orochi) and Mach the Eagle aka Hodr's technically not weapon (Mistilteinn, the mistletoe that killed Baldr)?

According to the fan translation:

Holy Sword Handling: A

A skill that strengthens the familiars that were extracted from the holy sword.

A version of the "Holy Sword Creation" that's only for Castoria.

Even if it's A・A who is the concept of the holy sword and the protector of the Human Order, having become a Berserker, she will only strengthen herself alone.

Watsonian: Unlike Artoria • Avalon, Castoria instead summons forth familiars based on other ‘holy swords’. This is because she can not create the swords herself, and instead her skill is directed towards ‘handling’. As for why they were selected, it’s likely due to Totsuka-no-Tsurugi’s ‘similar’ connection to taking down a ‘giant’ to Excalibur (in nasuverse at least), and Mistilteinn due to ‘similar’ connection to taking down ‘the unkillable’ to Excalibur (again, nasuverse at least).

Doylist: it’s just for the sake of Castoria being a little bit cooler. They’re big mythological ‘swords’ and all that.

I know people said that Chloe was awful, but I wasn't expecting THAT, I liked the first ascension but the other two are obnoxious in my opinion.

Arguably how awful Chloe is *could* be canceled out by how great Suzu is, but idk.

I can't believe that they did cat like that too...

Like I don't know if it's super clear, but the design has clear TamaCat similarities and I DONT LIKE IT! LEAVE CAT OUT OF THIS??!!

Besides the cat slander, I would also argue that the final ascension design also has too much going on at once? I was expecting chloe's design to *kinda* mirror illya's, which I realise now was really dumb of me.

Also,,, why do her shoes have Pony tails??!?

Why does Bageko have those slim arms. Why. Why. If I want a muscular woman with thicc thighs and big breasts she needs STRONG ARMS TO HUG ME AND BREAK MY BACK OR ELSE she won't be able to hug me at all with those bazoongas between us. Those chopstick arms are not good at all!!

The idea was good but the execution is lacking!!!

I've seen some guys says those swords from Summer Castoria were the reference to Alter Ego Muramasa but to me, it's kinda a stretch.

That seems like a stretch considering one of Artoria • Avalon’s big thing is ‘making holy swords’. Muramasa also makes them but his thing is ‘swords’ compared to ‘holy swords’. Like; we had a whole singularity ending about Artoria • Avalon making swords.
