Saw rainbow capitalism the other day.

They left out the brown, black and trans stripes for a reason methinks.

Remember that the police do not exist to protect people. And they especially don't protect queer people. A rainbow colored security state is still a threat and enemy to queer rights, just one trying to look like a friend.

So, if you didn’t see recently, Bud Light (yes, the beer) recently sent our gal Dylan (if you don’t know who Dylan is look her up! She’s great!) some beers which she posted to her Instagram and of course made The Right™️ big mad:

BUT of course since the backlash Bud Light has kind of walked back their support of trans people:

HOWEVER that’s not the full story, as two bigwigs from the company are “on leave” right now:

But why am I talking about this?

Well, I actually happen to drive by a distributing plant for Bud Light and other household-name brand beers on my way to work, and Saturday, before I knew all this was going on, I was confused but delighted as I was forced to crawl behind a southern driver (which is a misnomer, people down here be passing you at 85 in a 55) to see two trans flags hanging outside the plant!

I just want to say that like. Fuck companies. Fuck rainbow capitalism. Fuck them “walking back” their support and logging off on June 30th at 11:59pm to wipe their hands off and be like “ah yes, another year of Saving The Gays™️ done and over with 😇🙏🏻✊🏻”, but like on a local level, throwing up two trans pride flags outside a plant that makes their beer even if I do work in a city that openly has pride events as such is still a lot and a nice show of support. Like yeah at the end of the day it’s still rainbow capitalism so fuck that and it wasn’t there when driving by today but I doubt any bigwig at the company told the people working at that plant to go hang some trans flags out on their fence, you know?

So y’all have probably have heard about some stores pulling their pride in response to fear monger around queerness. So yesterday someone called my job and threatened it over the pride display so that’s fun/s. Also today a costumer very nervously asked if we still had stuff up. Which we do.

"Not against LGBTQ just don't think it should be in a game made for children." Arg. Saw this comment in a #Fortnite stream. And I so wanted to comment on it ask this person why he said that, but the conversation already move on. This person also said, "Fortnite gone woke." At least someone else said, "here we go with the Anti-woke brigade." And to be fair to the streamer and community, it is a Fortnite stream. Not a politics stream. "I just wish Fortnite didn't involved politics." I actually would wish that Queer stuff isn't 'political.' But our existence was made political by those who opposes us and wish we didn't exist. I am actually glad #Fortnite has free emotes, sprays, and even a cool lobby track in the Item Shop right now for Pride or what they call Rainbow Royal. It is straight Rainbow Capitalism though. I wish I could talk to this user privately, so that the conversation isn't continued in the Live Chat, but the user has whispers blocked from strangers. Which is fair. Those are their settings. It just irritates to see a comment of "LGBT representation shouldn't be shown to children."

I really hate the CisHetroAllo Patriarchy.
