Bandau Rae revamp because I haven't drawn anything Fablesmp in a while, and I miss them :] What better way to practice to redraw/revamp.

We wrote baby Cari and implied seahorse dad Caspian (with appearances from Rae, Vaeh, and Enderian)

Story below!

Caspian yawned mindlessly fixing Cari a bottle. He wasn't sure what time it was but it was definitely the middle of the night. He dabbed the bottle on his wrist making sure it wasn't too warm before offering it to Cari who latched onto the nip of the bottle. Caspian smiled down at his child, he still wasn't used to the concept but it was a welcome one. Once Cari finished their bottle he put it by the sink to wash in the morning.

Silently he walked through the dark house back to the bedroom he shared with his husbands and settled into the oversized armchair. He softly rocked Cari who was falling asleep in his arms. Soon enough both of them fell asleep which is how Rae found them in the morning.

“Morning sunshine,” Rae smiled as Caspian woke up. Caspian gave a sleepy smile looking at his husband. “Did Cari wake you up love?” Rae asked. Caspian nodded offering the infant to Rae who happily took them.

“Did Aax go somewhere?” Caspian asked.

Rae nodded, “He went to spend time with Ulysses, Vorago, and probably Casus.”

“More family bonding time?” Caspian asked, watching Rae bounce Cari. Rae nodded, smiling. The quiet was quickly interrupted by a small figure running in.

“Can I hold them daddy? Can i? Can i?” Vaeh asked, bouncing. Rae smiled at the child and glanced at Caspian.

“If you promise to be extra careful with them”

“I promise!” Vaeh exclaimed. And with that Rae carefully handed her Cari. Vaeh was unnaturally calm as Rae showed her how to properly support Caris head.

Caspian smiled watching his little family. Today he had come with Rae, Fenris, and Vaeh to visit Enderian. He was holding Cari and watching Enderian interact with Vaeh.

“Mom there's someone else for you to meet,” Rae said, gesturing to Caspian to come closer. Caspian quietly moved closer to his husband and looked at the goddess.

“Hello Caspian, who's your little one?” Enderian asked, her voice much calmer than the last time he'd had a face-to-face conservation with the (ex)goddess.

“This is Cari, Raes their dad,” Caspian replied leaning on the taller man. He watched the realization wash over the woman's face.

“They're so small,” Enderian spoke, her voice softer than before. Caspian adjusted Cari as they reached their small hands out toward the ex-goddess. Bright green met dark green as Enderian offered a hand to the infant who happily grabbed onto their fingers giggling. “Hello little one,” She said with a smile.

“Cari sweetheart what's wrong?” Caspian asked, yawning. The only response he got was the soft cries of his child. He had tried everything he could think of.

“Sunshine? Its like 3 am why are you up?” Raes' raspy voice called out. Caspian turned to see Rae standing in the doorway of the living area. Rae spotted the crying infant in Caspian arms, “They wake you up again?” he asked. Caspian sleepily nodded.

Rae walked over and took Cari from a very grateful half asleep Caspian and started humming the same lullaby Isla had sung to him and that he sang to Vaeh. Cari immediately settled down, starting to fall asleep in their dads arms.

“Your magic”

“I just have experience love, I'll get them to sleep you go get some yourself”

“But-”

“Cas love you've gotten up with them every night this week go back to bed,”

“I love you starshine”

“I love you too sunlight now to go sleep”

Cari paced the length of their study, comm in their shaking hand.

“C’mon V- talk to me..”

An open notebook sat on their desk beside a photo frame of Vaeh and Cari when they were young- a draft of their new book drying on the page. It was going to be a children’s picture book, the plans for the illustrations were on loose pages scattered around on the desk.

“Please, just one message.”

They sat down in their chair, picking up the illustrations for the cover. Two small children, the older one with an arm and a tail around the smaller one while sitting in a blanket fort. The title hung above the image: “It’s okay sunshine.”

“I need to tell you about this…”

Fablesmp finale thoughts

the ending was so perfect. We were all worried and fretting over it but it was absolutely astounding. I have an idea of what to embroider into a thing I have planned now! stemming from Heyhay’s final bit of the final Raecap and Violets remark to Rae,

“speak now, Void King”

at the bottom I will have to figure it out, but aaaa

I’m so glad to see it finished. A beautiful story was told, and will be told even more. This is not an end, but a completion. And I think that is so cool.

I hold Veah and Cassie and Oscar and all the allays in my little hands- all the little guys and kids. (Also Oscar got a boyfriend???? At least heavily implied??? Go him!)

Mmmmm yes I too feared the finale lol. (Also embroidery ayo?!? /pos)

The Void King part honestly gave me literal chills it was so good. /gen

I agree though, the conclusion was so beautiful and it tied up all the loose ends :3

Vaeh is a little ball of sunshine and I fucking love how they designed her as well. Same with Cassie and Ocie's other kids, their designs are amazing.

And yeah the implied fact that Oscar got a boyfriend is just *mwah chef's kiss.*

Vaeh somehow gets to the sculk reset and finds the past versions of her parents + pregod Centross in Morningstar castle

Vaeh wandered through the village of snow, she had gotten very lost and accidentally gone through some sort of portal. She spotted a castle on a hill and decided that's where she was going to go.

She got to the door and peeked in. She spotted someone who looked like her papa! Except his wings were wrong.

“Wolf there's a kid-” a man who looked kind of like Violet said. Not-Papa or Wolf looked over and spotted her.

“Oh hello what's your name?” Wolf asked, crouching down closer to Vaehs height.

“Im Vaeh! Vaeh Orchid Nightingstar!” Vaeh said, bouncing on the balls of her paws.

“That's a really pretty name kiddo, are you alone out here?” Wolf asked. Vaeh looked out the door and nodded.

“Got lost an sent through a portal,” Vaeh mumbled, fidgeting with her hands.

“Aww it's okay kiddo, we'll find you parents,” Wolf comforted.

Vaeh looked up at him, “you look like my papa but wrong,” she said.

Centross laughed, “What's the difference between Wolf and your papa kid?”

“My papa doesn't wear a mask and and he has has yellow wings!”

“Centross what's going on up here?” another voice asked. When the person appeared Vaeh had to stop herself from flinging herself on the man. He looked so much like her dad. Except this man had an antler and looked slightly younger. And less purple.

“You look like my dad,” she said before she could think.

“Kiddo, who are your parents?” Wolf asked, glancing at Rae.

“Uhhh my papas name is Fenris and my dads name is Rae!”

“What's your dads last name?”

“Uhhh morn-morningstar!”

Rae froze looking between the child and Wolf.

“I don't want to move her but she can't stay down here it's not safe,” Rae muttered looking at the sleeping child on his lap. He had learned she was most definitely his future child. She had explained that Athena and Soul had helped create her in a similar way Athena had been.

“I can take her up with me, we can always explain to her in the morning,” Wolf said, picking the child up with a gentleness you wouldn't expect from him.

“Thank you Wolf,” Rae said with a smile as he stood up moving toward the cell.

“I'll see you in the morning Rae,” Wolf said, adjusting Vaeh so he could hold her easier.

“See you in the morning Wolf,” Rae said, stepping into the cell.
